As you know, we don't usually stop to write opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Cuban restaurant.
This place was great! I loved the atmosphere, people working there, prices and of course food. I took Assorted Seafood and it was very big and I got full really fast. Also, the bread they bring is heaven! Seriously, the best bread I have ever eaten!
Heard a lot of good things about this place and came in searching for a Cuban Sandwich. For as much as the sandwich was talked up, it was a little underwhelming thought there would be more flavor. Maybe should have gone with the ‘spicy’ version. Just nothing there flavor wise. The place was packed, and there was a small wait. Service was prompt but everything I ordered came out at the same time. Appetizer, Salad and Sandwich all at the same time. The prices were reasonable for everything I ordered. Adequate parking on a adjacent lot.
Best coladas you can get in Miami! This place is very far from where I live (close to Homestead) but I drive to this area pretty often, and I ALWAYS stop by for a colada. This place is world famous for a reason.
Was recommended to us as a must go restaurant, by a former resident. It did not disappoint. The food is authentic Cuban, the prices are good if not great considering the portions are huge. My wife n I ate for 35.00 including a 25% tip, waitress was amazing. We couldnt finish the food. cuban sandwich extra large, tamal, and a side of black beans for me, a sampler plate for my wife. We finished about 1/2 of it. So much goodness on the plates. If we didnt have to catch a plane, it would have been dinner for a 2nd night easily. Parking is not a problem and the restaurant is always busy.
So this is a very well established business from 1971. The line was rather long as will pulled up in front of the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess and told we had about a 15-20 minute wait. I don’t think we waited 10 minutes for the table. The dining room is rather simple nothing that stands out or wows you. The room was rather cold which surprised me. The floors are hard tile and let me tell you the place is very noisy. The waitress came to the table in about 5 mins and took our order. The shrimp cocktail hard nice size shrimps, the sauce could have a little more horseradish in it. The full pitch of Sangria came out 20 dollars and it was definitely worth the money. Could have had a little more fruit inside. The shrimp in the creamy garlic sauce was very delicious and came with fresh plantains. The skirt steak was tender and cook to a perfect medium well. The cheese cake for desert was very good by had to much Carmel on it.
First time coming down to the Little Havana area and I've been told by a number of people this is a place I HAVE to go. I must say it exceeding my expectations. We were a party of 5 and only took 5 minutes to find us a table. Excellent waiting service and delicious Cuban food. The staff is impeccable. Will recommend to anyone at anytime.
Old school. Great value. Excellent food
Staffing is attentive. Always crowded. Tourist attraction. Plenty of parking, unless weekend and holidays; very limited. Security on sight. Prices are $$, and get higher depending on the number of guests in your party. Sunday brunch available $$. Currently under remodeling. They also have separate areas for coffee and pastelitos and a bakery section.
Amazing food!! Staff is friendly and service is really fast! I love it!! Def coming back
The best Cuban restaurant in Miami, based upon my 35 years of eating there, and other Miami Cuban style eateries! Opened in the early 1970's, this place has everything right from the interior design, staff uniforms, food and best of all...the prices are reasonable. Went there with our kids 15 years ago, and had not been there since, but could not believe it was even better this time. I had eaten there in the 1980's several times when making weekly trips to Miami, and it was great. Right on 41, (which turns into 5th or something) if your taking 41 from Marco or Naples, which makes it easy to locate, plenty of free parking in their staffed security parking lot. This place is worth driving from the Gulf coast to Miami just for eating! Service, food, ambiance and price make this experience one you will never forget!
A classic time tested for good and inexpensive Cuban food where both locals and tourists go. Specially if you go during the day in the area near the outside window where one can buy coffee as well as other snacks you can see mostly Cuban men discussing all type of issues, mostly regarding Cuba obviously with a passion that reminds you of the passion we have for Cuba and for the freedom it lacks.
Authentic, classic Versailles Cuban food at real Cuban food prices. Order your breakfast, food served piping hot in minutes, and the cafe con leche, magnificent!! Cant wait to move back home and make this a weekly part of my life.
Food was great, and staff were friendly. I like the atmosphere and can see why its considered the most popular Cuban restaurant. The desert menu stuck out as it has a long list of varieties to pick from. Would recommend this place to anybody visiting Miami. Only con is the wait, however, it is consider a popular place and is expected.
While a bit touristy, I have nothing to really complain about here! My bf and I ordered their croquettas, cuban coffee, a pork dish, and a chicken dish. The crispy pork bits were pleasantly the star of our table. All in all, a delicious meal that was very affordable.
It was awesome! The fresh fish soup was delicious and as usual the best Cuban sandwich and mariquitas in Miami. The atmosphere is very very busy but relax, they do not rush you out. Highly recommend it. A most place to eat real Cuban food if you visit Miami.
The Cuban fried rice was amazing. We loved everything we ordered. Can’t wait to be back
The must see place in Miami. True Cuban heritage! Every time we come to Miami we make sure we get a shot of espresso and their famous croquettes.
Perfect food, great vibe and efficient service for reasonable prices. No way how not to love it!
Can’t say it’s as good as the hype but it is not bad either. Maybe we didn’t order the right food but thought most things we ordered was fair. Oxtail was probably the best out of what we ordered. Dessert was ok, ordered the flan, creme brûlée and tres leches.
Amazing food, large portion, quick friendly service and great price.
Definitive taste of Miami. Pastries & coffee in the morning & traditional meals later. Cool experience in Little Havana. Def a recommendation.
Rost Pork Cuban Style. One of the most famous food in Cuba. I really liked! The restaurant is amazing.
Best! Very tasty food, excellent service, huge portions. I ordered Ceviche, Beef tongue and key lime pie and loved it!
Three stars just because it’s the iconic Versailles but the food here has really gone down a lot in the past couple years. Honestly not the best Cuban food in Miami. It lacks flavor and seems like they are cooking for the masses - everything tastes the same. The staff is friendly and service is fast but the food quality isn’t anything to write home about. I don’t think I will be coming here often unless the heat wins the championship then I might come back with my pots and pans to get a cafecito.
Traditional comfort food. Quick k service e, just make sure to be HUNGRY! Big dishes!
Truly an amazing experience. Your taste buds will thank you for days after enjoying a fine meal here. 2 of us ate like kings for $26. Best meal we have had in a long time. Coffee is to die for pastries are heavenly. Every bit was excellent especially the staff.
My Daughter took me for my Birthday. Never been here but I would definitely go again. We went on a Saturday, the wait time was only 30 minutes, the food was brought out fast, the service was good. I thought at first that the food portion wasnt going to feel me up but it did, I was stuffed. The oxtail was so delicious and well cooked the meat fell off the bone with ease. Highly Recommend
Great fun to visit, cuban was good. Kind of an in out job. Think we were about 30 min.
The food was very good and a lot. The only thing I didn’t like was the waitress that helped us. She was very rude, from beginning to end. When she got to our table instead of greeting us she just asked what we wanted to drink. When she got back with the drinks she hit the table hard with each cup of ice. Then when we placed our order and at the end we let her know that is was gonna be separate checks she got upset and made a face and said that she had to take the orders all over again. And never came back to ask if we needed anything else.
I've never had real Cuban food before and this place came highly recommended from a local and boy were they right. The food was awesome and the authentic cuban coffee was outrageous. Never tasted anything like it before. There was a bit of a language barrier since I don't speak much spanish but it was not a major obstacle. The service was very good and the place is super clean.
The food here was delicious from the appetizers, main meal and dessert. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. I had the Cuban coffee and it was the best coffee I have ever had. I was so impressed with the food, the service and the place. This restaurant is huge and very clean. Would definitely return.
An extraordinary meal. I had the lobster creole. I'm sure that I will have dreams about how delicious it was. Wonderful staff. The experience was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved eating here! Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a taste of Cuba cuisine. Parking was easy, and the bakery next door was also delicious! We had great customer service, and we knew very little Spanish and they helped us, there were English menus available, which was helpful. Would definitely go back and try more!
My mouth is watering as I’m writing this review( no kidding ) Sure we had to stay out for more than 45 min but it sure was worth the wait. The staff were friendly even though we didn’t speak Spanish and always smiled at us and kept our cups filled. The food was super amazing and they tasted like nothing in the United States! So for an hour you really feel that you are in Cuba( I have never been there but I’m sure you get the drift) The prices were reasonable. I really can’t wait to go back to this restaurant again. This time I will go with completely empty belly!
Everything were find except service. I’ve never seen the server checking the tip and expressing its feelings when I was eating. We put in more than 18% tips in total. But we split it up on each receipt. I think she misunderstood that we paid less than 15%. She showed her displeasure by checking while we were eating dessert. I don't think the action is right even if you haven't given a lot of tips. The food was good, but it was a bad time . I couldn't understand the inferior service in such a famous restaurant.
If I could give this place - 1 stars, I would. I absolutely do not understand the hype. The food was “meh.” The service was okay, but they seemed disinterested in us, like they knew they would continue to make money regardless how they served people. And it was expensive for what we ordered. The pricing was not appropriate for the quality of food. Yet people were clambering over themselves to get in the door. I would have thought since it had such great reviews online and several locals recommended it to us as the #1 Cuban food restaurant in Florida that the food would have been amazing. Sadly, I ended the meal apologizing to my wife for taking her there and saying it was a mistake. It’s clear they only exist because of hype and that it’s a popular tourist destination. I’d never go back. Maybe they serve overpriced, bad food, with poor customer service as an inside joke?
Versailles Restaurant 100% lives up to the hype and expectation that it and the city has set for it. Don't be discouraged if you show up and there is a crowd outside, the restaurant is LARGE on the inside. Which is even more of a testament to the restaurant because typically with size, there's a decrease in quality of food and service; not with Versailles! The host and wait staff were all very receptive, attentive and polite and the food was absolutely delicious! Hands down the best Cuban restaurant that I've been to outside of Cuba. If you're in Miami and are itching for good Cuban cuisine, I highly recommend Versailles!
Love the quick service, friendly staff, and great ambiance. Very reasonably priced and vast choices of some great dishes! Their garlic shrimp is the best I've ever had. Next time I'm in Miami I'll definitely like to return to this place.
Awesome restaurant! Place was three-quarters full when we arrived about 7:15 seats about 300. Food was excellent with a vast menu of different authentic Cuban Cuisine. Anytime I go through Miami I will definitely stop at this place again
Cafe Versailles was an absolute experience!! I knew I wanted to go somewhere memorable for my birthday since I only had one day in Miami (cruised out of the port and decided to hang in the city for one day) and I was more than impressed with our meal! The waitstaff were always ready and enthusiastic to help get anything we needed to make our time most pleasurable. I love that they have menus in both Spanish and English

This place is a long-standing Miami tradition certainly worth a stop if you're touring the town. While the food is decent, it is certainly not out of this world. I do give the place High marks for atmosphere and the wait staff though
The Cuban fried rice was amazing. We loved everything we ordered. Can’t wait to be back

Excelent, the paella was really good. Huge portions! Gotta have the mojito...

This place is nothing like I imagined it. I’ve seen the long lines in front of this place and it can be intimidating. I thought it was some kind of luxury restaurant. The truth is that the long lines form because the food is delicious. When you enter, you’ll be in a 70’s Miami restaurant. The furniture, flooring and decoration haven’t changed in years, which is perfect. To this date is the best lechón asado I’ve tasted in town. My mouth waters just thinking on it. I don’t see the Cuban cuisine as healthy or fancy, but it’s really tasty and I’ve learned to appreciate it living in Miami. This place isn’t expensive at all and you’ll leave with an full stomach, a smile on your face, and the wish to come back and try that pork again, and again, and again. For desert I tried the cuban flan and loved it.
The food here was delicious from the appetizers, main meal and dessert. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. I had the Cuban coffee and it was the best coffee I have ever had. An extraordinary meal. I had the lobster creole. I'm sure that I will have dreams about how delicious it was. Wonderful staff. The experience was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything was very good I have never had fresh Cuban food like this ever in my whole entire life This is I'm experienced and I must say they are number one on my list
Loved eating here! Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a taste of Cuba cuisine. Parking was easy, and the bakery next door was also delicious! The food was excellent along with the prices. The service was fair. It felt like more of a get in / get out experience. Perhaps that was just the lunch rush causing it. I can highly recommend visiting the pastry shop afterwards.
If I could give this place - 1 stars, I would. I absolutely do not understand the hype. Amazing experience! We stayed here with my father in law because he wanted to eat in a real Cuban restaurant! And we were very satisfied. The restaurant is always full even at lunch and they don't take reservations. Food is awesome! Prices are amazing, too! For 4 of us we paid $70 for lunch. We ordered a soup for a appetaizer and one entree each with a natural shake and 4 coffees. Very recommended! At night they have people going around the tables singing and playing instruments! The best Cuban in Miami!
This was a great place to share a bunch of different plates with the family, then head over to the bakery to pick up some desserts for later (because we were so full from lunch!).
Hands down the best Cuban food in Florida! Very reasonable prices and great service! Cafe in the front is great while you wait.
This restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and authentic. Great cocktail selection and the desserts are out of this world. And is pretty affordable. This place is amazing for everything from business meetings, dates, family time or friends. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. And is huge, so the wait is never too long for groups of any size.
The last time I came here was back in 2013. It was so nice to visit again. We arrived around 8:30pm on a Sunday evening - and the place was hopping. We were told it was a 25-30 minute wait, so we entertained ourselves with the bakery. Sure enough they called us within 30 minutes. I had the Galician white bean soup which was the perfect balance of smoked ham, white bean and garlic. I also ordered the Classic which had the most amazing roast pork. Dessert was a tres leches cake which was drowning in milk, and very tasty. Great prices too! This was a fun place to visit, and definitely look forward to returning again.
The best Cuban food in Miami... the service is excellent! There are many people waiting for a table but the wait time is about 25min or less... they always stay to find you a table quickly!!!
Born & raised in Miami and I had never been to Versailles. My godfather took me. We sat in the Room of Mirrors (El Salon de Espejos) Very friendly and quick service despite they were packed for lunch on a Thursday. Had the Creme Brulee and cafecito for dessert.
One of the best Cuban restaurants I've ever been to. Service is amazing and make sure to come here ready to try the Cuban classics. A Cuban mohito, Cuban sandwich and a tres leches ay the end is recommendation. Always busy and you'll love the atmosphere.
Best spot in Little Havana for food. I was visiting Miami for a short time and I had looked up up the best places in little Havana the size was mentioned it was recommended to me by a friend also I tried it and it was a phenomenal food experience very high standard and good quality food, tasty, good service, nice decorations has an old but homely feel to it. If you're in the area you have to go to Versailles restaurant.
This place is always the best around. When my family is in florida we always make it a point to come here. The breakfast and the cuban sandwiches are the awesome. I love the atmosphere and the people. I cant wait to visit again. I tell all of my friends and family from San Antonio to visit when they go to Miami.
If you want an authentic Cuban meal at a reasonable price, this is your place. Always good service, quick, and on point. Can be busy at certain times because of the popularity.
Food was good and prices were reasonable. It was a little chaotic. So many servers running around and it didn't seem like any one server had specific tables. They were all very helpful.
I would give them more stars if I could. The quality of the food and the quality of the service is unparalleled. I was sad that I could only eat one meal here because the entire menu looked fantastic. I must admit I overate, but I do not regret it. Very flavorful. Lots of meat based dished. Highly recommended. A Cuban friend of mine recommended the place. It is authentic!!!! Go with confidence!!!
It's the best deal in town when it comes to good Cuban food. Definitely worth it. The staff is helpful and friendly. You have a choice of where to eat. The cafe if you are pressed for time or the restaurant if you want a family gathering.
I had versailles rice and it was really really nice...just go for it if you like seafood.
Versailles is an okay Cuban restaurant in Miami. The food can be decent to good, but it's not amazing. I've had better Cuban in New Jersey. The service is ambivalent every time I've come here. The restaurant itself is also huge, and you feel like you're in a cafeteria to some degree. Which perhaps people like, but not me.
So yummy! There was a huge line outside and we had a large party. The inside is so big they we were inside and seated within about 15 minutes. The food was delicious and served faster than I have ever been served in any restaurant with a party that large. High recommend.
Great food and cheap prices. Seemingly quite a few stars visit here as well. Give it a try
Food was incredible, staff were fantastic. EAT HERE. You won't regret it. Oh, and prices are amazing as well
Great service! Pretty quick delivery of food considering how busy they are. Everything was delicious! Their Ropa Vieja is really good. The hostesses were super nice too. Overall great experience!
Very nice food, great coffee, great service and very good price! Highly recommended
Reading all the positive reviews has me utterly confused! Was visiting Miami from NY and I’ve visited several other Cuban restaurants during my visit. I decided to visit this place due to all the positive reviews. The place did not seem like an authentic Cuban restaurant at all! There was seemingly nothing Cuban about it...other than some of the workers speaking Spanish there was nothing that spoke authentic Cuban to me. The menu was even completely in English. The service was good but that did not make up for the lack of culture in the food. From the unseasoned chicken to the lack of flavor in the beans, the meal tasted like something out of a box. Did not taste fresh at all. Nothing that was on my plate tasted freshly made! I would recommend going to any other place! Don’t believe the hype. This place has been...for lack of a better word “white washed”! Don’t waste your time! A ton of other authentic Cuban spots you can eat at and get the full experience!
We really enjoyed the food here. Its a bonus that this restaurant stays open very late. The food was great & plenty and the price was very fair. We went twice during our short stay in Miami
Very beautiful place. Definitely worth visiting. It was the highlight of my Miami trip, better than south beach and ocean drive.
Stoped here on the way to airport after hearing so much about this place. WOW! Hard to even describe the experience, its a step back in history and into a different time and place, with the service, music, and HUGE tasty portions of food! A must visit!
Wow! Worth the wait!! Must go! Great coffee and even better food. Great cubano sandwich, excellent pastries. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing authentic Cuban food!! Was our first stop while visiting Miami. Had to take food to go because the portions are huge! Really good and great service.
Delicious cuban food and my favorite dessert is here, the Dulce de Leche Sunday. Very amicable servers and a great variety of cuban foods and drinks. I recommend the restaurant for Birthday Celebration and family reunions.
A unique experience. Great food, low prices, crazy busy! HUGE dining room, low budget tables and chairs with chandeliers on the ceiling. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon around 2 PM-- not usually a busy time for restaurants, but it was packed! There were several groups apparently celebrating special occasions. It's easy to see why this funky place is apparently beloved by the local community.
Amazing place to visit! When I first walk in, you can feel the good vibes and the inviting atmosphere. I'm not really a fan of Cuban restaurant but the food, coffee, and tea are really good, its a big thumbs up for me. The service is okay and places are clean. No regret at all, one of the best Cuban restaurant I've been to.
Versailles earns its reputation as one of the best Cuban restaurants and bakeries in Miami. Great selection of dishes in their spacious restaurant. Many of the appetizers and sandwiches are available from the bakery and walk-up takeaway counter. Pictured here are the appetizer sampler and main course sampler.
Was told this was the place to go for Cuban cuisine. Nailed it, over the top good! The portions were large and could be split but they suggest they are only for 1. Prices were extremely reasonable for the size of the portions. This restaurant is not much for show, but the food is spectacular! We ordered the Cebiche and Ox Tail and it was out of this world good! This will be a regular stop every time we are in Miami. If you go at a normal dinner time there really is no waiting. If you go at 9 PM you may wait an hour! Folks in Miami go out late!
I've just been in the coffee shop part of Versailles and I love all the pastries and coffee there! Is usually really crowded but still the staff is swift and polite. If you have ever been in Colombia or Cuba and have gone to a small neighbor coffee shop you will feel at home. The Guava and Cheese pastry is the best!
I had a great experience here with the bros. They seated us very quickly and got our food out quickly. The food was pretty good. The staff was all friendly and made me desire to come back. I would recommend it 100%!
We had a family reunion of 16 people they were able to sit us altogether. Service was wonderful and the food Amazing. The mojito drink are great and reasonable prices. Love this place and we come here every time we come to Florida.
Basic breakfast. Affordable. Lack of service. Quantity over quality service. Cuban sandwich 2/5. I’ve had better. The omelette 2/5. Nothing spectacular. Maybe lunch or dinner would’ve been better but I have no desire to return. They don’t care.
Dined here twice in as many days. Fantastic. Excellent Cuban food, exceptionally good service, prices and portions to match. I will be back next time I'm in Miami.
I have been dinning there since I was 5. At 45 the food is phenomenal. Still has an original food.
A family-style dining experience with a lively atmosphere. The staff offers exceptional service and the food is delicious! I recommend planning ahead with friends and ordering a little of everything on the menu!
Just like mi madre use to make. Kidding momma! But it's great, authentic Cuban food. And unlike a lot of Cuban restaurants they appear to bake their own bread too. Highly recommend!
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent mojitos. The only thing I wish I could change about Versailles is the wait time. No reservations, so be prepared to stand in line for a few. There are always people waiting for a reason though, as this place just rocks!
The beef was tough. The beans were not fresh. The dietary plate was made out of freezed vegetables without any flavour. The sad story is that one of us asked in the beginning for vegetarian food recommendations and they recommended chicken versailles. However vegetarians cannot eat any fresh and tasty food there. We also tried the avocado salad and it can be considered as just sliced avocado without anything else. Nice salad (sarcasm). All in all nothing tasted good and this place is so overrated.
We went for lunch and were there at a busy hour. We had to wait for 20 minutes before we were seated. The food was good. However, the server waiting on us did not seem too happy to see us. In the midst of taking our order, he went to tend to another table. We had to ask 3 times before we got a glass of water with no ice. Extra paper napkins made an ever later entry after being requested several times. The appetizer came 15 minutes later whilst the main entrees came after 45 minutes of placing the order. The food was tasty. It compensated for the above paragraph. I would recommend going to the restuarant provided one does get the same waiter we got.
Travel litlle more like a blok and you will find better food and better service.this place isnot what they say.bad service and ok food.
Haven’t had food this dry since I ate sand as a baby. Only saving grace was the wait staff. If it wasn’t for them I’d give a 1 star.
Our favorite Cuban restaurant in MIA. Tradiciones Cubanas! Delicious food, great service in a huge dining room on Calle Ocho. Real Miami
Yummy, yummy. As part of my Miami visit, we stopped by here for lunch. The place was big and packed at 2 in the afternoon. Obviously it must be good for being busy off hours. Versaille Paella was very good. Plenty of seafood and chicken. Very flavorful. Best was the tres leche cake with Cuban coffee. What a perfect combo of sweet and coffee. Exceptional. Highly recommend.
Great service! Pretty quick delivery of food considering how busy they are. Everything was delicious! Their Ropa Vieja is really good. The hostesses were super nice too. Overall great experience!
This place is amazing. I really thankful to the budget car rental lady who told me about this place if I'm ever in Miami again I would stop by in a heart beat. The mojitos are the best I've had.
We really enjoyed the food here. Its a bonus that this restaurant stays open very late. The food was great & plenty and the price was very fair. We went twice during our short stay in Miami
The best option for Cuban food. Was lucky enough to go to this place with locals and get good recommendations. However, the servers were friendly, helpful and patient at answering all the questions. They don’t take bookings so better arrive early and be ready to wait until you get called up.
If you are looking for classic, traditional Cuban cuisine in Miami, this is your place. Large restaurant featuring the largest list of dishes you can try in Miami. If you are coming with a group, it would be a great idea to share appetizers
Are you kidding me? Best Cuban food ever best croquetas ever and the male waiters are the nicest and most professional (not sure about them female waitresses little bit of attitude) plus the best malteadas
This place is amazing! Authentic Cuban food. Very delicious
I usally go across the street but if you want to visit you should visit!! The staff was good, the people watching can be good at times and the food is just fine. Excellent croquettas and cafe con leche!
Great restaurant! The food and service were excellent!
Food is great and service professional and friendly. I love the brunch on Sundays. It's buffet style and the variety of food is amazing and delicious. Anything you can possibly want for brunch and then some. Go check it out. Highly recommend.
This place is great. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is tremendous. Have been for both dinner and breakfast and they were equally awesome. Great Cuban food!
This place is the anti tourist trap. Yes, they advertise everywhere. However, unlike most famous restaurants, the food actually lives up to the billing. Very reasonably priced as well. Coffee was out of this world.
The service was very good. The appetizers were less than excellent. The main dishes were good. My steak was a little bland. The sweet plantains were very good. I would recommend this place if you are going out to celebrate at night. It is open very late. The food was not crazy good.
One of my best Restaurants in Miami. The food is excellent and not expensive. The food comes fast and is for me the best in Miami. The aircon is very cold!!
Always love to eat here when I am in Miami!! Great Mojitos
Everything was fantastic. It was loud due to all the happy customers socializing and enjoying the delicious Cuban specialties. I highly recommend this sociological experience!
This restaurant is a must if your in Miami. Food was some of the best I've had and the atmosphere is great. Staff were all great and this place is huge.
Great value and great taste. So many tourist I'm surprised they haven't raised the prices more. Short wait due to the large size of the establishment.
We wanted to have the best Cuban food in Miami and looking at the endless lists and reviews we landed on Versailles. And we very happy with our decision. Everything that was on the table was delicious. Our server was excellent and was able to suggest dishes to the entire group. He was able to answer our questions since we were comparatively new to the cuisine. They had summer cocktails as well which was a refreshing addition to the food. Their roasted chicken and imperial rice is to die for. A must visit for Cuban food in Miami.
I love this place. It’s always packed, and you can see why. The food is amazing. Staff is attentive. And did I mention the food?
Authentic and tasty Cuban food! Great service too. This is the place to go if you are looking for a tasty meal served with a smile.
The atmosphere is awesome. Real Miami spot, but there are much better places to go for good Cuban food!!!
Lived up to the reputation! Huge menu and generous portions. Drinks and food both totally hit the spot. Service was very good despite the huge restaurant being packed. Nice to have lots of free parking. Highly recommend for some moderately priced authentic Cuban food!
We followed all the recommendations of our waitress Imelda : the coco mojito, margarita, tropical ceviche, braised oxtail, Versailles paella. All her suggestions were excellent ! Very busy place. We highly recommend!
The pulled pork was tender and seasoned just right, my whole entire entree was delicious!
A place NOT to be missed. The history I was told is that a French restaurant went out of business in the 70's and some Cubans purchased the place. They were of humble beginnings and never changed a thing. The name is the same and the interior is the same as the old French restaurant. The Food, though, is as authentic Cuban as you will find anywhere! It is prepared well and delicious. It is all served to you fast and hot. I tried many things and all of it was excellent. Start with the empanadas ... and finish your meal with a Cuban traditional coffee... exquisite.
This bakery was ok, I just feel they didn't have a big selection
This place was really fancy and upscale in it's atmosphere and popularity. But the food was actually really cheap. Due to the cost of the food, it isn't the best but it's still pretty good for what it costs. I recommend checking it out.
Our group of 9 was seated relatively quickly. Amazing quality of food at very reasonable prices. Would recommend ordering sides to share with the table to try their many options (especially the sweet plantains). Would visit again!
Good Cuban food. Large restaurant. The service could be more personal.
Good place for authentic food. Massive portions and it was really very cheap. The cheesecake was lovely but so so rich and the Cuban sandwiches were good as well.
Flew down early from Quebec for a cruise, no way we would come to Miami and not eat here. It's been there for decades, it's amazing, reasonable and awesome. Check it out for yourself
This place has great Cuban food. Service is good and the prices are fair. There are long wait times, parking is limited, but it is a great place for the entire family. I recommend the buffet style breakfast.
Excellent Cuban food at a reasonable price. Historic landmark afforded by the opportunities of this great nation left to us by our founding fathers.
Great ambience, very helpful servers, and great strayers. The main I had was a bit dry (grilled King Fish). Obviously a place that locals go to. There was a crowd of people outside waiting for a table. It’s a little away from the main Little Havana neighbourhood, but it seemed definitely worth a visit for an authentic Cuban experience
Best Cuban food at a very reasonable price. Inside is more like a diner type ambiance. Nonetheless, it is great each and everytime. Rabo Encendido(Oxtails)is delicious with Moros(rice&beans) and Maduros(very ripe sweet fried plantains).
Best Cuban experience we had in Miami. Food was excellent, staff very helpful. Best coffee also!
cuban food and the setting at this location is great. it was so fresh. the staff was friendly and sociable. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.
Very good food and good service. Cheap price
Absolute great Cuban eats and feel! My all time favorite restaurant and experience in Miami! I have nothing bad to say at all! Great food, great atmosphere, great experience!
Amazing Cuban cuisine restaurant! We had the two tasting plates available, so we had quite a few of their dishes and it was ALL amazing. Also we had some juices and they we fresh made and absolutely delicious. Would recommend anyone even curious about Cuban food to give it a go if anywhere in the area. Desserts were also quite amazing and recommended. It is also a place of tradition for the exiled cuban community in Miami, so also holds special emotional value for many. Staff is also extremely kind and helpful so feel free to ask anything that you are doubting about.
Staff was very friendly and everything we tried was Great! I tried spinach and guava/cheese empanadas!!! There are so many selections
Great Cuban food and atmosphere. Never disappoints. When in Miami, always stop at Versailles and it opens late as well, 2 to 3am. What's not to like?
If your visiting, this is a must go to place! Mahi-Mahi "Dolphin meat" made with garlic sauce, rice and sweet plantains was worth it! If you are like me and enjoy a good garlic meal then this is how you want your fish. Also ordered Flan to go because I couldn't eat anymore. Great food, good desserts and awesome prices!
Not the best Cuban food and I had pretty high expectations for this part of Miami and its history. Great Cuban coffee and pastry but our meals were just ok
Foood was amazing. The restaurant is really big so you don't have to worry about waiting for a table. Servers are friendly, highly recommend

I want to thank the whole versailles staff for offering such a great service to our Brickell Motors Team. Special thanks to William and Elizabeth for the excellent attention.
Always love to eat here when I am in Miami!! Great Mojitos

Expect to be treated well here. The large crowd can sometimes generate longer wait times, but this staff handles crowds faster than many sit down chain restaurants. The customers are usually friendly along with the staff. Very diverse crowd, you never know who will be in here or from what corner of the world. The food is good, not cheap, not unaffordable either. Give it a try at least once if you find yourself in Miami.
Authentic and tasty Cuban food! Great service too. This is the place to go if you are looking for a tasty meal served with a smile.
The service was horrible. I cannot stress enough how absolutely terrible the calamari was, no salt/ flavor at all. I got some kind of roast pork with rice and beans, not sure what its called or how to describe it because there isnt one employee in here that speaks good english. The entree was decent and my fiances chicken and yellow rice was pretty good. But thats really about it. Wont be returning here though, i don’t understand how this has that good of reviews. Tourist trap maybe?
Best Cuban place ever been. Food was fantastic, the waiters super friendly and very attentive.
Lived up to the reputation! Huge menu and generous portions. Drinks and food both totally hit the spot. Service was very good despite the huge restaurant being packed. Nice to have lots of free parking. Highly recommend for some moderately priced authentic Cuban food!

It is an institution and I definitely recommend all visitors to Miami come here to sample real cuban food. The rice is always perfect along with the croquettes and all the wonderful typical plates. We had a sandwich and Pork Chunks and Garlic Shrimp! Yummy!
This place has great Cuban food. Service is good and the prices are fair. There are long wait times, parking is limited, but it is a great place for the entire family. I recommend the buffet style breakfast.

Absolute great Cuban eats and feel! My all time favorite restaurant and experience in Miami! I have nothing bad to say at all! Great food, great atmosphere, great experience!
The wait staff, the food, the atmosphere, that's what makes it all so memorable. Having it's own parking lot is another plus. We will be back!
But don’t order so much that you cannot breathe! We had just landed and took a cab to Versailles on Calle Ocho in Little Havana. It’s a huge place buzzing with people eating lunch when we arrived. I chose one of the Friday specials, meatloaf that came in a rich gravy with a choice of rice and plantain. We shared starters of mixed croquettas and empanadas which were already the size of a main but utterly delicious. Great food, good prices

My wife and I visited this restaurant and enjoyed it. Versailles is the type of restaurant where people are still lining up when they are posted to close. Fortunately they have a large restaurant which is wheelchair accessible. The food was delicious. Everything we tried was excellent and the price was perfect. I honestly couldn't pick one item over another.
We were given 2 menus, 1 in Spanish and the other in English. I speak very little Spanish so it was nice to have options. Best mojitos I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed the fish and shrimp in creole sauce. The flan was also delicious. We had an overall pleasant dinner. Didn’t take pictures but posting screenshots of a video I quickly snapped.
I love everything about this place — the food, the service, and the prices are all great. The Cuban food is not as good as at home but it’s still good, and it’s always the same for as long as I can remember (decades). Plus they’re open late!
Loved it. Great food!!! Amazing Cuban sandwich and the appetizers were just as tasty. Loved it. The croquettes were so good especially the ham!!!
Best casual ambiance cuban food in Miami. Open late on weekends. They also have a bakery and coffee window.
Oldie but goodie... place has been around forever and a day. Classic Cuban food open till 3am. Decent traditional Cuban food served hot and fast. This spot is a classic and directly across from its parent restaurant La Carreta. Located on the cusp of Miami and Coral Gables great place to go after a night at the local watering hole to alleviate the after effects..
I'd take this place over Sergio's. The cuban coffee was made to my liking and my breakfast was cooked just the way I ordered it no mistakes. I am becoming a huge fan of this place.
We love this place! Great food, great prices...hands down the best Cuban food experience in Miami. The beat part is having a Cuban coffee and pastry at the bakery after dinner.
It was good food. Nothing overly special. Service was good and the place was busy even at 10:30, so maybe I just ordered the wrong things...
Amazing food and friendly service. We were told this restaurant was very clean and elegant with delicious classic Cuban food. Our waiter, Roberto, was absolutely fantastic! 10/10 recommend!
We just gave this place a shot and were pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed the pork and the beef dinners, topped off with key lime pie and demitasse Cuban coffee. Amazing food and looking forward to returning. Great job guys!
Foods are amazing. I love their oxtail and beef stew. Fried banana is fresh and sweet. Plus, price is not too expensive.
This Cuban food was delicious. Service was fantastic. Definitely I will visit again.
Cuban dishes, pastelitos cubanos and cuban espresso make this place one of my favorites restaurant in Miami.
The real deal, the reputation is well deserved. Be issued to wait in a line but it moved fast. You can go to the Cafecito or Bakery while you're waiting to kill time. Or take a look at the menu, it's extensive. We are here two nights in a row everyone was satisfied and full.
This is the best place for Cuban style cuisine in the southern hemisphere not just Florida and the pastries are to die for. Definitely a Miami Icon. I lived in Miami practically all my life and the quality, freshness, staff, and all of the above is perfection at its best. I'm getting hungry just writing this review. If you're visiting Miami this is a must go to place. My parents been going there since the parking meters were 1 penny.
Its a Cuban Original, food is good, price is ok $, Excellent parking, lots of meetings and politics and famous Cuban artist, leaders of exile community. A must visit place for all Cubans in exile. Lots of tourist go. It only needs tablecloths for a touch of class. Excellent cortaditos.
The service was okay - we were between servers so I think there was some confusion over who would be responsible for us. It seemed everyone around us received complimentary bread, however we did not. We ordered appetizers immediately but they came after our food. The cubano was DELICIOUS. The bread had a perfect crunch and delightfully lined with ham, pickles, cheese, and mustard.
Excellent place to eat. Very popular for Cuban cuisine. Great food fast service, but expect to wait a little at the door to get seated. But well worth the wait. Can wait to go again and again!
I went here because I read so marvelous reviews. Honestly I expected much better. It's still a very valid choice and definitely something to try out. I've had the super Cuban sandwich, and it was tasty but very dry, at least for my taste. Then I had the Imperial Rice, which was fine but not exceptional. Staff super friendly, good location and very good premises, so I'd still go back there!
After having had amazing meals at various NYC Cuban restaurants, I thought this was going to be spectacular. It was hugely disappointing. All of the food, with the exception of the eggs, had clearly fallen out of a Costco frozen food box. And the eggs were overcooked. The service was friendly but very hard to get... there seemed to be dozens of people walking around but none of them wanted to pay any attention to the diners. I won't be back.
Fantastic food. Busy, but just because it's so good. the staff is very efficient and helpful, we didn't wait long for anything. Don't forget to stop in the bakery!
The food we had was delicious and came in large servings. The staff was very friendly too. Was a great experience!
Delicious Cuban food! And the cortaditos are a must!! Can’t wait to be back in town to come back here!
After 9 hours in the airport trying to go home, Delta sent us to a hotel promising tomorrow would be better... We were exhausted and needed some good comfort food and man did we find it. The service was amazing. They treated us like family!! The food e amazing... Thank you for making an otherwise miserable day so much better!
Great authentic Cuban restaurant. Wonderful food. Awesome waiters and waitresses. Love the food.
If your ever on calle ocho wondering about cuban food just go to Versailles its hands down the best one there. They have great lechon asado (roasted pork) and the vacation frita (grilled and refried steak with garlic and onions) is plain old badass...
Versailles is a must if you're in Miami. There may be better places to eat, but this restaurant is iconic. Every modern day president has visited this establishment, why not you? Enjoy the Cuban atmosphere and know that you can order anything off the menu and although you may not be completely wowed, you won't be disappointed either.as the food quality is solid. Pricing is reasonable. It gets busy but you won't wait as long as you think you will....this place is huge. Enjoy!
Another wow! Great place to get a taste of little Havana. Delicious food that won't break the bank. Make sure to stop at the bakery next door for dessert and coffee!
While on vacation this is a spot in Little Cuba that people told me to try so we did. I did not like their chicken and rice so I had them give me the cod fish plate instead which was very good. Their beef empanadas were delicious as well. My aunt and mom had the lamb chops and seemed to really enjoy those.
One of Miami's greatest places to get a banging Cuban sandwich..and many, many other fine Cuban delicacies but I must warn you there is always a crowd and a wait and well worth it. Check them out you wont be disappointed.
Food is Amazing!!! Ordered a cake & at the bakery & they overcharged me $10 because the lady made an error & didn't know how to charge back. Check your receipt & make sure the total is correct before leaving!!!
Easy to brush off Versailles as a tourist trap, but nothing could be further from the truth. This place is frequented as much by locals and with good reason; good food, attentive service and great ambience. Fried pork chunks were tender, flavorful and juicy. Maduros were ripe, sweet and cooked perfectly.
This is a great Cuban restaurant! It showcases the best of Cuban cuisine. The service is very good!
This is the definition of a tourist trap, but worth going to if you're willing to wait to sit inside the restaurant. The food here is okay and while its pretty authentic, it lacks the true flavor of a proper Cuban dish. It's a staple of Little Havana so if you're in Miami and want to make your way to the heart of Little Havana, stop by and get a shot of Cuban coffee and a freshly pressed Cuban sandwich to say you went to a true Miami landmark. There's a small window next to the main entrance of the restaurant that you can order from if you want to avoid the wait and are interested in a quick meal. This place has been there forever and has stood the test of time so make your way over and experience a little bit of Cuban culture in Little Havana.
This place was by far the best Cuban food I've tasted in Miami! Most likely will come back here the next time I visit Miami, but until then, I'll remember tonight as the best dinner in Miami!
Amazing flavors I have not experienced with other Cuban restaurants. Even though I only ordered a simple yellow rice with pork dish, I can only can describe the rice as subtle and soft with wonderful complexities. The croquettes and empanadas covered in a cilantro sauce were sinfully delicious. Cuban coffee to finish off a delicious meal. Our waiter was warm, attentive, helpful, and friendly. A stop at their adjacent bakery completed the experience. I highly recommend if anywhere near Miami, try the Versailles restaurant!
Love the orange juice and pastries. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy an amazing breakfast. Lines can get pretty long but the girls are supper fast.
Loved it. Great food!!! Amazing Cuban sandwich and the appetizers were just as tasty. Loved it. The croquettes were so good especially the ham!!!
The croqueta preparada sandwich is amazing.. Feeds two also.. folks are super nice and nowadays it's a bit trendy touristy type thing to do but still authentic to the Cuban folks also.
Ordered steak here. The staff were really friendly and the prices weren't too bad. Minus one star since the steak was well-done and a bit chewy when it said medium, other parts of food were great.
Best restaurant in Miami. Price, quality, place, staff..everything was great!
It used to be a nice place but like everything of value in miami it's going down the hole. Portions used to be generous now they are minimal and they keep raising the prices. A tourist trap it's become.
This is an amazing place to eat Cuban. Food was amazing and the service was great as well. I cant wait to go back
The service was okay - we were between servers so I think there was some confusion over who would be responsible for us. It seemed everyone around us received complimentary bread, however we did not. We ordered appetizers immediately but they came after our food. The cubano was DELICIOUS. The bread had a perfect crunch and delightfully lined with ham, pickles, cheese, and mustard.
I love everything. Very authentic Cuban food. Delicious. Great service.
The food we had was delicious and came in large servings. The staff was very friendly too. Was a great experience!
Great authentic Cuban restaurant. Wonderful food. Awesome waiters and waitresses. Love the food.

Best in Town. Well second behind Rio Crystal on Bird Rd and 99ave
