This Restaurant is included in the category of Chinese restaurant.
Great service, very flavorful food and classy ambiance. Decor is classic 80s 90s power dinner and perfect for a date. Kitchen staff is sensitive to food allergies, and will adjust preparation to accomodate. Very attentive!
I was disappointed because when it said water club I thought it was a strip club for water I tried the food the rice tasted like the salad from McDonalds
Tasteless food & service. The restaurant staff seems to be completely checked out. Tip is compulsory regardless of the quality of service offered. Highly unrecommended!!
Q lástima q la zona está destruida sigue siendo bueno pero ya no es el mismo q pena
What a great restaurant! Incredibly friendly and attentive service from start to finish matched by well priced and exceptionally good quality food. Our waiter made our night. Well done and thank you for a fantastic evening. We will be back again soon!
Amazing art show with the artist Richard Barrenechea and the presence of Alfredo Le'rida...organization was perfect!
A shadow of it's former self - Me and my family have been coming to TC's for the better part of 10 years. Used to be some of the best Chinese food in Miami - over the course of the last 4 years the food has consistently gotten worse. Heavily starched, gooey, thick grease laden sauces abound & drown out most of the wok seared preparations - Peking Duck we order this last Sunday was a significant SHAM, where after the initial crispy skin course, the whole meat & carcass, where taken back to the kitchen for preparation of the second and third (soup) course, and to our shock, the whole Duck had been BOILED to make a very poor rendition of the broth, and the boiled meat (BOILED !!!) meat of the Duck was served with TOFU (TOFU !!) as a main course. SHAME ON YOU TONY CHAN !!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN IN OUR LIVES !!!
Nice view and good food!
Tastes like a grandma's wet fart. Too exspensive for small portions. Don't go here you are getting scammed and losing moneys. Never eat here, you have a better chance of find food in a dumpster. Rather suck homeless toes and eat this garbage.
Tried this place for the first time I gotta say it was really good the service was awesome, me and my daughter had no complaints I'd recommend this place...
Outstanding location for tasty chinese food. Visited on Fri I believe. Bring your hunger - portions are large. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I liked.
I am a Singaporean who has traveled throughout the world and currently reside in DC. Being a fan of Cantonese cuisine, I am upset with the low ratings of this restaurant. If you come to this restaurant ordering General Tso's chicken and then complain about the price, I think this is stupidity at its best. You should ONLY order such a boring dish at a takeout, NOT at this place. Here is a good Cantonese restaurant that I have eaten, a better one on the East Coast. We ordered hot plate beef, eight treasures duck, eight treasures tofu, all with the authentic Cantonese wok flavor that we craved. Heard the chef is from Hong Kong and has over 20+ years of experience Good food, highly recommended. Avoid the boring American Chinese dishes, and you won't be disappointed
HORRIBLEEEE.!!! never coming back again. Service sucks overpriced. Didn't let me use my Groupon. Manager very rude. By the way the place was empty no wonder why.
Force charge 18%tip
QUITE POSSIBLY THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER. IM NOT ABLE TO EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR THIS RESTAURANT MORE LOUDLY!!!!!
The Sushi was great! My husband loved the Spicy Tuna and I really liked the General Tso Chicken ! it was excellent!
Delicious food ,fast service, I enjoyed my meal certainly , nice restaurant indeed , F&B Director Ganesh Khalipe, Thank you ,
The best Chinese in Miami, hands down.
Stopped in here while staying at Marriott Biscayne Bay. We were hungry after traveling through the afternoon/evening. If I could have a do-over, I’d take it. Food was without flavor and just not worth eating. On top of that, they tried to slip an 18% gratuity on our bill for a party of 4. Look elsewhere
Tony Chan’s is located within a little shopping mall between two hotels. Because of this, I was a little unsure. With 5 adults and 2 kids, we knew we had a big table with varying tastes. The soup was fantastic. The dumplings were amazing - we ate three orders and one of the kiddos ate one all by herself. The shrimp and vegetable spring rolls were divine. We had multiple entrees and ate every bite. And, we had two sushi rolls that even the kids enjoyed. Even more importantly, the service made the experience. Our waitress interacted with all of us, including our youngest child, and the food was brought to our table quickly and hot! Do not hesitate, go and enjoy! Highly recommended, from all 5 adults and the 2 kiddos.
Solid Chinese spot in Miami. Definitely try the dim sum menu
Real Chinese food by real Chinese. I consider I am a good cook and better than 50% of fake Chinese restaurants. But everything here is better than mine.
Okay food large place
My top place for tasty chinese food. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Bring your appetite because portions are generous.
Really enjoyed the food there!
Good
great Chinese food. great prices. friendly staff. lunch specials are the best. and the best deals. A+++
Love the atmosphere here. My girlfriends and I like coming here for drinks. Always a good time!
Lovely staff and great sushi!
Food was atrocious. I ordered General Tso chicken and it tasted rubbery and unflavorful. My girlfriend ordered the Harmonious Family and the food reeked like rotten week old seafood. We hazarded a taste and the food was like chewing gum after it was chewed for several days. Severely unimpressed. The service was ok at best
This is the worst Chinese restaurant I ever had, very expensive and no taste, do not go if you don't want to be disappointed really
Excellent place for Chinese food and sushi.
I called to place an order for delivery and the lady seem really nice but since they didn't a bigger size order of fried rice I decided not to order and suddenly I realized this lady was just being nice with me because I was ordering when she hung up on me no saying a word. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT PEOPLE. I WON'T EVER CALL BACK!!
Pretty good ramen. Great broth. Great service and nice atmosphere and simple decor. Ordered the customer favorite Tokyo Tonkasu. For $16 I wish the soup had more content like more meat, vegetables, etc and less noodles..
Don't know where to begin..the food was exceptional. Everything was extremely tasty and the wait time was minimal. Normally I would.worry if the food came.too fast then I was not fresh..not here..it was all fresh and great...well.done to the staff!!!
Great food reasonably priced. The Singapore noodles are super delicious. Dine in or take out, you can't go wrong here. Look forward to eating here whenever I visit my son in Miami.
My top spot for quality chinese food. Visited about four, it was not full. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. The bill was fair for the quality of food. They have so many good reviews for a reason.
Food tastes like watermelon at kfc
The service is always fast, fantastic ambience, friendly staff members. I will eat here again when I get here.
Pretty typical sushi restaurant, but it did have a really clean good taste to it, definitely happy with all my menu choices on this visit. Nothing sets it apart from other places though.
Wow!! I went last night for dinner, amazing cuisine 5 stars ❤️ They cook with no msg which it’s really important for a great health. Food is super fresh, ambience it’s great. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. If you are visiting miami and staying in the Downtown area, it’s a whole experience from the moment you get in. I went to New York a couple times to Chinatown and they restaurants have nothing to do with Tony’s quality and service. A must-go! Must try dishes: Their Peking Duck with soup Fresh sushi Fish
清蒸笋壳鱼真是太好吃了!不输国内粤菜馆,价钱也相对能接受。炸子鸡也很不错,皮脆肉嫩。虾饺一般般,不太推荐。总的来说非常推荐!
We went there before the theater, and while the food was alright and the place looked OK; but really fell short of our expectations. The food was good; but not neither gourmet nor authentic, and the view of the bay was a bit obscured by landscaping and a walkway in some disrepair.Altogether, the meal was pretty costly I kind of wish I'd gone someplace else. The service, was excellent, however.
Good
I like very much the food, fast service, good price, authentic Chinese service. I do not recommend for kids, except if they like Chinese food, there aren’t kids menu. Gluten free available.
Fantastic gourmet Chinese food.
Do NOT eat here!!! Horrible food and horrible service!!!
My favorite are udon noodles with beef.
I’ve been going to this place for lunch for a few months, taking the same dishes + miso soup. I’ve been served by’m the same woman all the time who never mentioned that the dishes I was taking was part of the lunch special with the complimentary soup! Very disappointing and I will never go back to this place ever again.
Extremely over priced! I know it's basically located at the Marriott and double tree, so it'll be a bit over priced but this is ridiculous. Okay so maybe the portions are big and the quality is a few notches up... Nope. $15 bucks for your typical fast food Chinese platter that would cost you $5 anywhere else. There is another Chinese place around that delivers but they have the same ridiculous pricing scheme. All in all, if you're staying at the Marriott and reading this I'd forget about ordering Chinese.
Surprisingly tasty and we'll presented Chinese food. Staff efficient and if you wish, you may watch your order being prepared through a massive glass wall. This venue needs a bit of updating to create a bit of ambiance. It is clean and linen is used. Waterfront/marina location and attached to a mall with other dining selections.
I really dig how you get to watch the cooks prepare the food. Unfortunalty, a star was lost for service. Once we fot service it was fine but we waited at the host stand for quite a while without anyone greeting us. There were employees sitting at a table polishing and folding who didn't seem to care.
COULDN'T ASK FOR BETTER!!!!
Excellent choice.
I love Tony Chan’s! Great service, food and I love they don’t use msg. I wonder if they do dim sum? If you like Chinese food this is a must in Miami.
Congratulations Tony! most delicious sushi ive tried at the bar. 5 stars for this restaurant. The service is always great, relaxed ambience and tasty dishes. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks :)
Place is far from upscale and got serve a lobster Cantonese for $70.00! A real rip off
I was brought the wrong food, which itself tasted bland. I ordered a small soup and was charged $8.95. I called to have them change it and the person on the phone was very rude and unapologetic.
BEWARE OF TONY CHAN’S MENU SCAM!!! I came in for lunch (Thursday at noon), but they gave me an extremely over-priced dinner menu. They do not offer the lunch menu unless you specifically ask for it! So shady! And when you do ask for the lunch menu, they act like they weren’t thinking and gave you the wrong one. Every customer around me had the same experience (I asked, they all felt scammed). I can’t believe this is how they do business. Trying to trick tourists and locals like that. They should be ashamed of themselves. As for the food, it was terrible. Meat was chewy, soup was bland, rice was mushy. The chicken was especially odd. It must’ve been old. I don’t think there’s any passion in that kitchen. I think they’ve all given up. I guess they only care about ripping off hotel guests. And for the service, it was awful. The server was so rude, she obviously didn’t want to be there. She rolled her eyes when I asked for the menu, rolled her eyes when I ordered, and rolled her eyes when I asked for anything during my lunch. Maybe she should change careers. All in all, I feel disrespected. I have never experienced such shadiness at a restaurant. Unethical and unprofessional. This was my first and last time at Tony Chan’s Water Club. AVOID THIS SCAM RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!!!
Great food
My wife and I love this place and visit often when in Miami. A cut above other Chinese restaurants! The service is quick and food is fresh and delicious. We are picky diners and highly recommend.
The food was outstanding!!! The service from our waitress was horrid! The women never once came over to ask how we were doing or refill on drinks we had to keep flagging down others to help us. No matter what they add 18% gratuity even for 2 people. I questioned it saying by she did nothing and should not get a tip. The older gentleman understand and was very apologetic and gave us a free round of drinks which we appreciate. I do not think it is fair that this waitress gets the tip when she never once came to our table and forgot to order our appetizer! Food was awesome!
Tony Chan's Water Club is an upscale Chinese restaurant that also has Japanese Food. The food and service are very good!!
I ordered the General Tso chicken and the chicken was so tough and full of grissle I had to spit it out. I spoke to two of wait staff and showed them I couldn't even cut through it with a knife and they said nothing! Steer clear of this place. Not fresh or good food. Wish I could give no stars.
Service was great, food was exceptional, experience is just worth the price.
This is probably the best Chinese in Miami. I am confused by the low ratings. I lived in New York and Toronto, and I think I know pretty good Chinese food when I taste it. I think stand out dishes include the sweet and sour pork, the beef and ginger clay pot and the sizzling black bean chicken.
Great food and excellent service. Good prices.
Checked into the hotel after a crazy morning that included 2 flights. Room wasn't ready yet and we were pretty hungry. Went down to Tony Chan's for a quick lunch. It was delishous! Lunch specials were reasonably priced. With tip paid $51 for the 3 of us to eat.
Good food and service.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Will likely visit again.
Great food, great service. Ordered a whole Peking duck 5 minutes before closing and they took care of me with a smile on their face. Get the general tso chicken.
Red snapper❤️
Roast duck is a must
(Translated by Google) Perfect!!!! (Original) Parfait!!!!
I am a princess here ...the service is great and they know me well my tSyes my likes ..eat too many years of going there for lunch perhaps 3 times a week ...
The food is good
Outstanding place for quality chinese food. The staff was very welcoming and observant. Prices were decent. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.
Me and my boyfriend went today for dinner, we loved the miso soup. It was a generous portion. We also tried the fried rice and Tsao chicken which was great too. The crab was a little bit salty but it was an interesting dish.
It is a bit pricey, but the food and service is really good. Not sure if they justifies the prices, but I will continue to come here because I always enjoy it.
Excellent restaurant. Love the sushi, always fresh! The best peking duck in town.
Minus stars with long list of negatives : 1) Hopeless food, total waste of money 2) Poor service 3) Rude staff, seems they are being forced to serve customers. Please avoid it.
Food was absolutely wonderful, however the service was some of the worst we had ever experienced. Our server took our order, very unfriendly, and then never came back to our table again with exception to when we finally waved her over for our check. Someone from the kitchen delivered our food, a water girl filled my husband's water glass once and a bus boy removed half of our dishes. Our bottle of wine was placed on a bucket on a chair at our table. Strange and put out of convenient reach when you consider we had to pour for ourselves all evening. Imagine our surprise when our check for two included a 20% gratuity. Then we had to flag down a manager to have it removed in order to add our own gratuity based upon our poor service.
Had a wonderful time! I was there last year for Xmas and just realized that the rating was not sent. Recommend the duck and pineapple fried rice!!! The best!!!
The shrimp were disgusting at best. No one speaks English. Will never go back.
We three dined on Tuesday. Very good food, good service. Like lemon chicken, cashew chicken and "exotic" spicy shrimps - rich in portions. Negative - the same menu for lunch and dinner - lunch is a little more expensive. I hope to see you again. How could they get rid of Luo Ming?
So good!
It may be pricey, but it's worth every penny. Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had.
Our whole team went to Tony Chan's Water Club inside the Doubletree Grand Hotel lobby, next to the beautiful Biscayne Bay. We loved their cooking which is MSG free; every dish is cooked to order. Rewarded Hong Kong style Cantonese cuisine which it is the lightest among all major 8 regional cuisines in China. That means light in flavor, and also means light in salt and oil in take. Plus, we tried high quality fishes!!! 5 Star Review for a 5 Stars Restaurant
Stayed at Hilton double tree for business and ate here both nights. I didn't really feel like getting a cab to go eat. I had sushi both nights and the food was great. The first night I didn't get in until after 9 pm and the staff was more than accommodating and very friendly. If your in the area I would highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of sitting next to the kitchen so we could see the 'cook' unwrap the 'store bought' spring rolls... Mediocre food, 18% gratuity automatically included and the bill was presented to us twice, once before we paid and once after. We'll not be eating there again anytime soon
I had dinner last evening, 23 May 18 at the restarurant and was disappointed. My food was luke warm at best, the steamed pork dumplings were just ok. The wrappers weren't made from a homemade receipt from scratch. My garlic pork was just okay. Maybe it was a bad night. I will try it again choosing other items on the menu.
They serve shark fin soup
This was the best Chinese we've eaten for a very long time. Food is awesome and so is the service. Recommend the deep fried ice cream. So good.
The best in the world starting going there 26 years ago
Perfect
The food wasn't terrible, but the cashier and waitress messed up multiple times while trying to calculate the bill. First, they overcharged us by around $25 because they used the wrong denominator in their calculations. We had to go over it with them to get to the correct value. A few days later, when we were going over our bills, we realized they also deducted 40% as tip instead of the typical 20 to 25%. When I go to a restaurant, I expect cashiers and waitresses to be competent and honest while carrying out simple calculations, and don't want to worry about overpaying by a large amount. I will not be dining here again.
In LOVE with their strawberry chicken, Miso ramen and cream cheese ragu (I think that's how you spell it) they have the best customer service too!!!
We ordered lunch special today from Tony and as always.....magnifico! I used to go into Tony once a week for lunch, but now work restraints hinder that for me. I try to order delivery when I can and I quickly suggested Tonys sushi when coworkers were discussing a group order. Glad that the timing was perfect and the peking duck was outstanding as my suggestion was on the hook. Thank you Tony and Jenny and continuing to produce quality Hong Kong Style food. Hopefully I can make it back in there soon!! :)
Tony Chang's Water Club is as beautiful a dining experience as you're likely to get, pretty much anywhere. This is NOT your typical sushi bar. There is nothing typical about this place. First of all, it is located inside the Grand condo, beside the Omni. Marble lobby, brass, glass and call girls make the place hum. Chang's is in the rear, overlooking the marina/boat dock and bay. The restaurant proper is quiet and vibrates like a tuning fork, even when busy. Don't look for loud abrasive voices here. The food is for the serious aficionado; raw tuna slabs in marbled perfection, nigiri for days, sashimi, hand rolled, inside, outside and maybe even wayside rolls. Plenty of variety to chose from, but the ambiance makes it an experience. Legend has it anyone who shows up here in a t-shirt and jeans to dine, gets beat up, slathered in eel sauce and tossed into the bay... well, not really, but it should happen. Dress and act accordingly. Anyone who wants to dine in sneakers has no class to begin with. Go to Sushi Maki and get it over with. This place is great for dates, for group, for businessmen and businesswomen. This place take me back, and maybe that's why I avoid going there often, but I should. One of the best restaurants in my opinion.
We love going to Tony Chan's Water Club inside the Doubletree Hotel with my husband and all the family. They have a clean and open kitchen which its amazing!! As a good chef, I love knowing that the food I eat in a restaurant is fresh and I can certify that in Tony Chan's Water Club. We are frequent clients because we enjoy the ambience, its perfect for a family reunion and we can actually have beautiful conversations in their big and comfortable round tables. Speaking about the food, they have a fresh sushi bar at the front where we always have the veggie and salmon roll. As main we enjoy their peking duck, haven't tried something so delicious anywhere else. During the week, we went a couple times with my husband to try their lunch special which was perfect for a break from our work routine. They deserve 5 stars!! Excellent service and extraordinary food quality, thank you!! Lila and Alex
Kani su salad, dancing tuna roll, and sake was delicious! Service was good too.
Ordered takeout. Even for bad chinese food takeout, this was pretty terrible. The lo mein was flavorless and the sesame chicken was so soft to the point where I questioned if it was even chicken.
Very good food and attentive service. Would return.
on mange bien tres copieux mais serveur pas tres agreables et souvent desert
I loathed my meal so much, I have reset all my passwords for accounts I have forgotten, to review this awfully. Service was great, food was a disgrace. Me and my mother spent most of the day across the street at the passport agency, reviews seemed good so we pick this out instead of the other small places in the Double tree Hilton. The seats we basically outdoor patio chairs but everything else looked upscale including the view of the docks and boats. We sat right next to the huge glass wall looking into the kitchen, after we placed an order we saw one staff member grab an open bowl of dried ramen type noodles and threw them on a table. Then we see another staff come out and throw the noodles and grabs a container of raw chicken off the table, no lid, and throw that into the wok. The kitchen looked really clean but all the open containers of food was discerning. When we received our food, I honestly didn’t know how to feel. I’ve never been disappointed to look at a bowl of pasta before. We had ordered the chicken lo mein, it was pale noodles that literally looked like instant ramen, pale chicken, a few small whole mushroom and a couple green slivers of bell pepper on top. We were so hungry and still on a time crunch to get back to the passport we dug in anyways, more disappointment. It tasted as bland as it looked. As I go to use the soy sauce container to drown my bland noodles, I see a thick lougey type brown thing on the bottle. The bottle wasn’t clear like normal soy sauce so I couldn’t see in the container, so I dumped the bottle on an empty plate and it was lumpy. On top of all this our meal cost us 42 dollars. If you think this visit couldn’t have gotten worse, we asked for sweet tea, our server brought us two glasses of brisk in a cup. Brisk is alright but if you don’t know your getting it, it’s an assault on your taste buds when your mouth really wanted that sweet southern golden nectar. That should be a crime. Just don’t go here. Choose another restaurant so you don’t have to waste your time and you can live without the disappointment that we now will forever have.
Nice restaurant with traditional Cantonese style cuisine
Ok
Good place, friendly people
The food here is
Delicious take out, best in area. If dining in, get Peking Duck appetizer with soup. Amazing!
Welcome to booger land! The best place for expensive "Chinese food" and great tasting boogers. The owner reviewed his owned restraunt. My pet fish could make better food!
I have never written a negative review about a restaurant EVER however this was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had. Bad food is one thing, bad food with bad service? I don’t know if I can even say it was bad cause we really didn’t get any service. Yet they automatically charge 18% gratuity, non debatable. Scam
