Almost walked by this place and glad we didn't. Service wasn't the best, but the food was fantastic. They definitely don't rip you off with your portions. The price wasn't too bad too, considering you're right in the middle of Times Square. Good atmosphere, seems like a lot of locals go there, which made me feel it wasn't a tourist trap like the Hard Rock Cafe. Definitely worth a shot if you're up for trying something that isn't a chain restaurant.

One of the best sports bar around Times Square! They have huge HD Tv's to watch sports! They have amazing mixed drinks and you can't go wrong if you go on happy hour! They have burger/pizza + beer for less than $15! The service is pretty good too, the staff is so friendly and helpful with your order!

I had a burger and fries. They were absolutely delicious! The waitresses were very friendly and the atmosphere was live and fun. I will definitely go again. It is a little pricey but worth it.

the place is rude and would not allow slow songs to be sung with the kereoke and there's no reason not to play slow songs I am a professional singer and I think there should be a wide variety songs to sing with keroke

Me and my mate Rhys came in tonight and as last year. Prefect service friendly staff and always good value for money. Sarah was great helpful and a good laugh. Definitely recommend to come here plus always sport on the tv's. So beer pizza and sport cant go wrong. Thank you tonic for another great time.

So much fun with karaoke night! Had no issues with waiting time, even though it's in a main tourist attraction in Times Square. The vibe of the bar was awesome. However, sometimes the waitress was no where to be seen, which kept us there a little longer than we expected. It didn't matter because we were enjoying ourselves.

Very american style place. Loads of Tv screen. Strong spirits quicly get pricy but it's the location too that decides it. Kudos for the karaoke, so of the random singers got talent! Well done!

I been to Tonic few times and my experience was beyond amazing! Their lunch deal burger with beer and fries for 14$ is probably one of the best thing you can have for lunch around Theatre District! If you are looking for a sports bar with nice location Tonic is the place that you are looking for! They have a lot of TV's, amazing happy hour offers and really delicious food!

First of all when we got there the music was blaring and we sat next to the speakers then once we ordered drinks we had got 2 Pepsi’s and a sweat tea both of the Pepsi’s were flat! And watery then are food came out the steak had no seasoning or spices it was plain and then one of my family members get Chicken Quesadillas and instead of chicken and cheese it had onions and lettuce then are waiter didn’t even check up on us

This place is amazing! Sports/Karaoke bar right on Times Square. While busy, it was less crowded than some bars I've seen. The DJ for the karaoke was amazing- energetic and lively. The food was very good and decently priced (I definitely recommend the "Ultimate Pizza). The drinks on the other hand were very pricey- $7 for a bottle of domestic and $15 for one cocktail. Overall the scene was hopping and the waitress was awesome. We will be going back on our next visit to Times Square.

This place is on my visit list. Times Square is always active and crackin but if you want to practice the art of karaoke then this place is a must. The karaoke master is a professional. The atmosphere is quintessential New York and unbelievably everybody was a really freaking cool. Being a yokel from New Hampshire got a lot of preconceived notions about New York and its people. Well this place definitely proved me wrong. If you look at the some place to go have some good drinks and enjoy karaoke Tonic is the place to go. I will be driving back from New Hampshire to visit there soon.

Went there not too long ago and got overcharged because of a glitch in their system but Wallie was quick to resolve the issue. After exchanging the copies of receipts we had he was able to provide me with a refund. I came here for Happy hour and I had a frozen margarita which was not so frozen. It was delicious but barely frozen. Can't beat the happy hour prices, it's a great deal. I ordered the fish,'n' chips, delicious and golden crisp fish but the French fries were basic. Nothing special. My lady had the chicken fajitas which were delicious. The small plate of guacamole that comes with it was so spicy and I wish they would've asked if we wanted it spicy or mild. We could barely eat it. Also, I would love to be seated and be served the usual glass of water. I watched my waitor serve someone else water and walked right pass us. I had to get his attention and ask for my glasses of water, other than that this place is great for the night life with the music and dancing upstairs. Love the mixed crowd!

Everything went well until the waitress decided to scam me when I was about to pay, she probably thought I was drunk. I told her and decided not to sign the receipt, she printed a correct receipt which I signed. I got home and I noticed she still charged the initial receipt I rejected. I called the manager, he kept stalling and didn't do anything. Had to call my credit card company a week later who refunded me immediately.

Hubby and i loved the service here. We only had a little over an hour before our show, we told them that at the door and they was sure to seat us and serve us immediately. I was VERY happy about that. We also loved the atmosphere and the music. The food was good too however the drinks were just okay; well the fruity mixed drinks we had. BUT that didn't change our opinion one bit in fact after the show we went back to tonic, ate and drunk some more and even danced alittle as the music had us going. This place is definitely a cool place to visit if you are in the area...

It's a nice little chill spot with good music, karaoke, on the house soda's, tv to watch the game and a club right up stairs..... The only thing I can really say as of why I gave it 2 starts is you have to pay $10 at the door to get into the lounge or the club and the drinks are like $12 and up, mozzarella sticks are like $15 (they also had $5 shots which was nasty but hey) and to me that's kind of expensive... Our bill was $100 and we didn't even order anything spectacular on top of that we had to stop off at the liquor store to get more drinks because we still didn't get a buzz form those small expensive drinks.... With that being said save your money and go to BBQ'S you'll get bigger drinks, more food and definitely worth your money.....

Came here for lunch with a friend because he wanted to watch soccer. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad off their lunch menu and I couldn't bare the saltiness of the buffalo chicken sauce. It was almost unedible so I had to pour water in to dilute the sauce... And just ate it more plainly. The drinks were good though... I ordered the "pink julep" cocktail and it was pretty smooth in flavor

Their food is amazing. Well done they had the juiciest BBQ ribs that I have ever tried. The Bar scenery is definitely laid back not too dark or overwhelming just right. Definitely planning to come back here again. The staff are really friend and serve well.

Great atmosphere, food and staff There's a lot of TV's playing different things from baseball, football, tennis and more sports to funny videos for the kids (or non sport fans) the music is not too loud and good. The chicken pita tasted very good and it even had fries with it, impossible for me to finish haha They have Lunch specials for 9.95$ monday to friday until 2PM and Brunch entrees in weekends between 11AM until 3PM which has interesting choices. The staff here has been really friendly even when we just came for a drink. I would certainly come here again if I'm in New York again!

Amazing cocktails and appetizers. Don't be fooled by the pretty drinks, they will put you down if you're not careful. In other words, they make them strong here. The wings were very good as well. There was karaoke downstairs, which normally my wife loves, but today we came to watch game 7 of the Stanley Cup. They have a very nice bar upstairs with a huge monitor to watch games. Service was good and the prices aren't bad for NYC.

Sports Bar with a cool vibe. It's got a screen playing sports channels in any direction that you look. If you wanna catch a live game, you can't go wrong by entering this joint. They also have cool $5 deals on drinks and $10 deals on bar snacks that can keep you fuelled all game long

Crowded but the bar tenders and door men are awesome! We were able to get hooka and drinks refilled pretty quickly considering the crowd. The door man also recognized me after I had left and came back so there wasn't an extra cover charge.

I would've given this place a higher rating but they tried to scam us into paying an absurd $160 cake cutting charge for a cake we brought in. This bar is quite nice if you are having some drinks. It says it's a karaoke place after 10pm, and it kind of is. There is a good selection of songs but the audio quality is really really (and I mean very really) awful. The karaoke hostess herself sings into nice wireless mic but does not give it to customers (not even when asked and tipped) and customers of the bar have to suffer this no quality audio and shout their voices off tot he mic. The hostess also decides whether she wants to hear you sing or not and this is not negotiable. This is the worst "service" ever. I hope the hostess will lose her job, definitely NOT up to the task. How rude can you be to paying customers?

Last night my family and I took a spontaneous drive into NYC and ended up at a Summerfest in Central Park. After which we drove to Times Square looking for someplace good to eat. We decided on Tonic Bar Times Square based on their 4.5 star rating via Google. The menu didn't impress me so I had some difficulty making a decision. Our lovely waitress (Laura) that seated us stated, "We are known for our burgers" so my husband and niece ordered the Double Burger and the Smokehouse Burger. The Double Burger has the distinct familiarity of eating a Big Mac (McDonald's creamy sauce and buns) and the Smokehouse Burger was unimpressive. My husband stated he could've gotten a much tastier burger at Shake Shack! My 12 yr old is a connoisseur of Buffalo wings (IMO) which was subpar to say the least! My 15 yr old had the Linguine Marinara, which again had no flavor! It's as if they popped open a can and poured it over linguine! I just settled on picking on everyone else's food btw. At the end of the meal we weren't asked if we enjoyed the meal or how was everything, especially since we went with the waitress' suggestions. We are avid adventurers of all types of dining and food experience, but this place needs a complete and major menu overhaul! The seating is a bit cramped, but I liked the ambiance.

Tonic time square is popping on the weekends, really nice karaoke night, we’ve had so much fun in here. Only been here once but I really liked it and I’ll definitely come and hang in here again. We stumbled upon this restaurant while we were in Times Square. We came in for lunch and ordered the $9.99 lunch special. The burger was extraordinary! The pita was somewhat dry though, but the chicken pesto panini was good. This restaurant is in the perfect location, you can't beat the lunch deals, and the service was good!
