A quaint bar prominently located on Lexington, this place is great for post work hangouts. The happy hour lasts till 8 which is great and the happy hour food is pretty impressive too. The servers are helpful and pleasantly chatty. Their recommendations were quite commendable. The place is pretty popular among locals. You might find it difficult to find a spot during rush hours.

I was in town from Seattle visiting my son who is attending grad school in NYC and we wanted to have a bite and beers close to Pod 39 where I was staying and found The Junction. We ended up coming back several times because it's such a comfortable laid back place that didn't feel uppity or formal...just casual people like us. Food was good a d happy hour beers cheap staff friendly and attentive. I know I will absolutely come here each time I'm in NYC staying down the street at Pod 39.

Love love love this spot, really love the staff as well, a great place to drink, eat and be merry, definitely a classic "Cheers" type bar in the city and super close to Grand Central. Must try the 10$ lunch specials as well for the daily workers in the area.

Always pop into the Junction while staying at the Shelburne up the street. Consider it our "local" as we go in there everyday !! Great staff (Niall is an amazing bartender) and customers. Been going here for 8 years now when in NYC and love it. Food very good and you just can't go wrong with this place.

I wish I had tried the food, because the wings looked and smelled amazing. Unfortunately I only had a drink - something similar to s mojito - and whatever rum was in it was terrible. Totally on me for not saying something and trying another. Bartenders were really friendly. We got it right before 4pm and it was empty. But within 30-45 mins, it was standing-room-only. Apparently a popular place. Unfortunately I can only rate off of one bad drink. I give it the higher rating for service and atmosphere.

Solid 4 for this place. Nice happy hour and friendly patrons/wait staff. This became our go to while visiting. Typical bar food, laid back environment and helpful bartender. Hit all the marks for my wife and I . (Early 30's) but there were people of all ages having a few here. Well done.

This bar was super crowded when I went. If you choose this place as your meeting place be sure your friends show up early to get seating. I sat in the back, which eased the burden of maneuvering between groups with a beer and it's close to the restroom.

We randomly found The Junction last December after the Bryant Park holiday market. We loved it so much we made a point of going back with friends. Comfortable atmosphere, great service, creative and fun drinks, and phenomenal food. Make sure to get the truffle tots!

Lovely food with even better servers and waitresses. I cannot consider there food "bar food" because it is better than most restaurants I've been to! Junction burger is a solid choice if you don't know what to get and if you're a vegetarian there Maple Turkey burger is to die for (I don't even like Turkey burgers in general), and whatever you do order their tater tots as a side.. Happy hour for 4 dollar beers ends at 7. The whole establishment is a sports fan dreams with plenty of TVs to watch your team win and watch your rival team lose. I fell in love with place and even though I don't drink anymore I still come here for the kick ass service. I believe the owner's name is Julie, and she is an awesome person and with help you with anything. Don't think just go. there is no other contender near them.

I had a Miserable, Regrettable and Unnecessarily Infuriating customer service experience with this business' staff member and manager. Over the course of 2 hours, what began as an innocent mistake of a delivery driver picking up the wrong order became a series of over a dozen phone calls exchanged between myself, the delivery driver and the two employees of the restaurant. They claimed they could not reach the driver. The driver claimed the restaurant had never contact him. So as I'm delivering messages between the delivery driver and restaurant - the delivery driver won't believe me because the restaurant hasn't contacted him- the restaurant says they can't reach him - I ask the employees of the Junction, "why is it that I can call him and you can't? Can we cross-reference phone numbers? The driver keeps calling me but won't believe me, it's you he needs. Can I please give you the number that's calling me?"... The employees at the restaurant hang up on me multiple time. Only speak long enough to cut me off and speak over me, defensively saying, "the order will be sent back out! We have Grubhub on the iPhone! You will be reimbursed and have your order"....two hours later, I call Grubhub. The Restaurant Never Called them, And They Sent The Delivery Driver Home when they had told me they had Grubhub on the phone and they were send another delivery driver multiple time. The kind of frustration this kind of business practice breeds is nothing but unnecessary, selfish and vindictive, and at the very least, profoundly disrespectful to any patron. 2 hours of this. They could have just said there was problem with my order and it had to be canceled from the beginning when it was still earlier enough to order from other good places.

Great food and drinks in a comfortable leather booth, brick walls and long 14+ seat bar atmosphere. Nice selection of drafts with an extensive liquor selection. Spent New Year’s Eve here and had a great relaxed time. Amy is an awesome waitress that’ll take great care of you. The rest of the bartenders and waitstaff are also attentive with great recommendations for when you’re looking to be surprised. The kitchen is often open until midnight with affordable menu options. Bottom line, it’s an upscale feeling sports bar that makes you feel like a local.
