The food is good. They have very extensive sushi menu. The appetizers are amazing ( beef carpaccio/ pulled beef flat bread / sliders/ sometimes fried chicken) The main courses are very delicious. They have a few different cuts of meat. The tomahawk steak is tasty. The braised short ribs are wow, the meat falls off the bone! Sometimes they have a duck special. Make a reservation it gets busy in the winter!!

Horrible experience last night. We had been coming to this restaurant for many years, without any problems. For my surprise, we were the only table there (after 30 more minutes 2 more came and no more tables ) The Waitress (a young lady) was very polity and tried her best to give us a good service, offering us the best and most expensive Cuts of meat to order, and we did it !! We were very specific about how we wanted the meat (medium rare) . After almost 1 hour waiting , it started sounds a beep from the kitchen, and it was increasing the sound every time, the waitress came explaining that it was a small technical difficulties with the kitchen and she will let me know how much time it’s going to take to be done the order; I explain to Her that I wanted to be sure that they cook in the right way. After 15 more minutes she came with the plates and off course that one of the meat was completely burned and we returned immediately a the other one came cold , without any taste , and at the same time the AC stopped working plus the Firemen came inside and another alarm system started sound... it was a nightmare..... The waitress Came with the check, by my surprise they charged me everything except the burned piece , without any consideration, the manager was there with an actitud towards us, instead to have a courtesy of all the situation that was going .. We were patient during that event. We never complained for anything while happened. We felt bad for them for what happened in their kitchen, BUT the Actitud, the way how behave the manager , the way how we had to left wasn’t the right one. A Manager has to Be sure that a Client will return after a situation like that; offer a courtesy, a dessert, a coffe!!!, a discount next time, whatever but not to Be with that Actitud. We are NOT recommending this place anymore . They are plenty of Kosher Restaurants with Quality of Service, Food a People.

Pretty pricey. Would give it $$$ or $$$$ but may not be that bad for Surfside, FL. Food and service was very good. On our ticket (for 2), they added a "service charge" that was 18% of the total without taxes. I assume this was for the wait staff, so I added a little and let it go. Overall a very nice place to eat near our resort

Every dish we ordered was amazing. We had the duck foi gras, beef soup, and lamb chops as well as a lemon meringue and a srawberry dessert. Service level A+! Loved the way they showed samples of the desserts instead of bringing a menu. Was so cool and visual.

What a ripoff, spent over $500 On a meal with only 2 people and they had the chutzpah to charge me extra for a little sauce for the steak that they overcooked! And for everyone whose seeing the owners response. It was not tonight. As I see you try to chase down any reviewer. So I needed to wait!

The first time I went with my wife to this "restaurant" I had to wait over one hour for our food to arrive, at that time the food was ok so we decided to try it one more time, so I ordered the most expensive steak on the menu hoping it would be the bomb, and specifically told the waiter for it "medium-well", after a long time (again) the waiter bring me a charred mini steak, as anyone would've done I returned it asking for a medium well steak, to my surprise this french guy that other reviewers have referred that I guess is the owner came to our table and started to yell and repeat like a freak that the steak was medium well not well done, I've never seen anything like this in my life, in my 40 years I've never been disrespected like this guy did at the point that I wanted to beat the hell of this f....ng french... To make the story short, my advise don't go to this "restaurant" the consider a favor to serve you, and the way the decide....

The food is delicious! If i was rating this restaurant based on the food it would be a 5 star. The specials on the menu are always different and flavorful. However, this restaurant is always hot. On many occasions it is unpleasant to eat here because of the heat. I really hope that they find the time to fix the AC so that the dining experience can be better. That being said, the food is good & tasty. It is expensive but which kosher restaurant isn't?!

The first time I had a bad steak in my life. I must say making steak at home is better. The steak didn't feel fresh it was dry rubbery at a medium, yet it still was pink, very odd and now a day after my stomach, and my fiancé stomach are upset, I felt the nausea the minute I bit into the $50 steak. It totally Wasn't worth the money at all! Also I'm not a fan of this restaurant having all different style foods Chinese, american some things just don't go together. The waitstaff are helpful and nice.

I highly recommend this place - kosher harbor grill bistro in bal harbor. In my opinion its the best restaurant in Miami Beach. I visited the Harbour Grill yesterday with my family and our experience was amazing. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming, the menu offers a wide selection of sushi, fish and meat. The food is fresh and delicious. We shared some appetizing starters (the sushi was so good) and for main course we ordered meat (steaks and burgers), i also recommend the sweet potato fries as side dish, we all enjoyed it very much. Don't hesitate to try the desserts, its a must. I am sure i will come back to visit the Harbour grill. This place has a good vibe, excellent service and outstanding food!

Went to The Harbour Grill for my birthday and was very pleased with my experience. Our party of 4 was seated promptly by the hostess and we were greeted by our waiter within 3 minutes of getting seated (quite rare in the kosher world). Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all of the menu items and we proceeded with following his recommendations. Appetizers were delicious, we had the sea bass roll and the nitro scallops, our waiter had told us that they were the most popular dishes and after trying them I definitely understand why. For entrees we all ordered different steaks, mine was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavors. My sister ordered a filet but wasn't a big fan of the sauce that it came with, she wasn't planning on complaining but when the waiter noticed that she had only eaten half he immediately offered to take it back and brought her a different steak which she loved. Overall it was a great experience, the prices are a bit high but the food is well worth it. What really impressed me though was the impeccable service we received. I will definitely go back.

We had a 8:30 reservations and arrived at 8:20, we were seated promptly. However , we waited for our food over an hour and half. After an hour we asked what's happening and was told a mess up in the kitchen, will be out on 7 min. We waited another half hour and went to complain again , this time we were told its ok sometimes it's really busy. That was unacceptable.

This is the 2nd time I have been to the Harbour Grill in the past 6 months. We were a party of 5 tonight and we all agree that the food is excellent. I was prepared to encounter less then perfect service due to the impressions of a minority of previous reviewers. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful service and friendliness provided by our server Madelina (or Magdalena) as well as the gentleman in the gray sweatshirt that assigned us to our table. We had a 9pm reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. We plan on returning to your establishment in the future.

Horrendous experience. One of our steaks was over cooked and the owner Gilbert told us that if we were unhappy there are plenty of other kosher restaurants. I told him I would write a review and he said that he knows he has 2 stars and could care less. As I was writing the review Gilbert asked me if he wanted to pose for a picture and gave our entire table the middle finger. This triggered my dad to follow him and Gilbert ended up getting in a physical altercation with him and we had to call the police. As soon as I saw the commotion I ran to stop the fight and dropped my phone. I saw a waiter pick it up but didn't see their face. I asked all the staff and they all denied seeing it. After being brought to the back of the restaurant to speak to the police I used find my iPhone and located the phone down the street behind a car tire. This is how they treat their customers, they are thieves! Gilbert the owner is a young, immature, very dumb owner who should never be working in hospitality industry. I am one for not listening to bad service reviews when deciding on a restaurant but the way this restaurant handles themselves is unheard of!! Be aware.

Came for thanksgiving but the turkey didn’t stand a chance versus the wide selection of steaks. Ultimately settled on the tournedos and was extremely happy I did. Was a generous portion of filet cooked to perfection with a light brown gravy and a Dijon based cream sauce when mixed was sublime. The roasted potatoes were also perfect and almost too large a portion to complete. Did I mention the lentil soup of the day surprised with a rich smoky flavor? Was an excellent meal overall and the service was attentive and well timed -highly recommended overall !!

Thay don't like Israelis in this place.We complained about two dishes that were not tasty, and immediately The owner yelled and cursed “That's why Israelis like you are not welcome here” After Israelis like us paid for your poor service and food for over $1,000!!!! It is important to note that we didn’t ask for money back,we only asked to replace the dish. The owner is a liar and aggressive, we never had such a bad service at any restaurant in the world.

I had a bad experience the Harbour Grill the kitchen in the restaurant is nasty that has a bad odor smell like the water of the toilet is overflowing and the owner of the place is very disrespectful and rude me and 4 other people we spent all together $1,100 there and they treated us like we came there and trying to eat for free it was a bad experience and I really wouldn't recommend this place for No One.

Very classy Kosher restaurant! I was a bit nervous going because I don't keep kosher, but I was very surprised at what a nice time we had. Excellent food, attentive service, and beautiful atmosphere. Well done! I would come back again for sure. I had the airline chicken dish with mashed potatoes instead of the hash browns. They even had impossible burger on the menu, which is a nice touch. (it was a special menu for 9 days). Not sure its always on the menu.

We had a wonderful experience and wonderful company (Yes even you Lazer) The food was orgasmical And even though the portions came out a bit late it was still up to par the food. The meats were ok level like a solid 6 out of 10 and the pricing was a bit high for the Levels of meat.There Flat breads are a must try.The desserts were really tastefully but the ice cream was a very small portion then when Lazer asked for some more they told him that they were out of it. But overall the Vibes were really great And The service was up to Par. They even stayed open 1hr 47min extra for us after hours which was very nice of them

Thanks for a wonderful experience, I really enjoyed the meal, ambiance, wait staff etc. I was so happy with everything that I came back again the next night and also enjoyed it tremendously. there's one issue: I think the boss needs to be more tolerant of his staff how they are treated when a customer sends back something they aren't happy with even if its the customers fault !!!

The Sea bass was raw after an hour of waiting. When the waiteres came by she explained to me that it wasn't raw. When I used my fork to show her it was rubbery she said she would show the chef. Ten minutes later they brought out part of the fish on a new plate. I asked where the rest was and she said that was the whole thing. The owner was adamant nothing was wrong and I must pay for my food. I paid and left. Never again

I have been going there once a week for about 5 years overall best Kosher meat restaurent I have ever been to and I have done them all even outside of Miami. Yes I have had bad experiences but those are very rare and never as bad as other places. Definitely recommend the steaks and sushi's.

The service was bad,the food came cold and burnt, When we asked to talk to the manager we were told he don't want to. One star it's to much for this restaurant. What's really sad is that everyone who complains about this place (and if you go down for Feedback you will see he has a lot of complaints) “the big owner” answer the same answer, “you come to eat free” “to make a scam” and “don't come back here”. It's just a shame. We never planned to come back. We never asked for free food, and we never recommend people to get to this bad restaurant !!!

We just came back from this restaurant. While the waiters did their very best to handle the crazy workload they had, the overall management was horrendous. This place can not handle the amount of people that walk through their doors. Instead of politely refusing the additional people, they take every customer which makes everybody suffer. I am not opposed to spending some money on a good meal but that must come with good service. Also don't order the lamb shank the sauce on top is inedible.

We ordered a speak which was the special of the day and it wasn't fresh at all! It just felt like the steak was premade. The supervisor said that they don't premade food and that she can take off only 50% of the charge, which was overpriced front he beginning ($100 for a steak!)... first time that something like that happens! This has by far been the best most consistently good restaurant I have ever eaten at in Miami. Some people have a single good experience a single bad experience, and I assume that people think they have an audience for their reviews so they dramatize things. I have returned food before for small complaints and no problem or questions asked. The burgers are AWESOME, the steak is great, the Sushi chef is my favorite in town, I have followed him through 4 restaurants. I have no affiliation to this restaurant in any way, and this is the first review I write for any local business. I feel great about reviewing it, and I looked forward to writing this. The owners are sensitive and genuinely nice people that want to be accommodating and friendly, the food is CONSISTENTLY GOOD, an experience I never had in any other kosher Restaurant in Miami. Everyone reading this probably knows that one relative who always gets into a fight when they go to a restaurant, don't pay attention to the drama. I assure you that there is a 98% probability you will leave this place happy, and well fed! Cheers!
