Didnt comp the undercooked edmamae we ordered, charged us for dumplings we never recieved, and took more than 15 minutes to be greated by a server when we sat down. We were one of two tables there.

Very Bad customer service and disrespectfully, propose to go elsewhere if you are not satisfied ! Never seen it ! Very expensive and sushi completely skinny ! If you are hungry don't go there ! Where is the rice ?? Tightfisted in your plate ! You pay $3 for one piece of sushi (not 2 but one) and you are looking for the rice ! So bad service, waitress prefers to choose regular clients for tips ! It's a shame ! Absolutely not satisfied and of course I will go elsewhere to find better restaurant as expensive but where I eat enough !!!!

Cheap, consistent, authentic, darling. I work near this place and I go often for lunch. The sushi is consistently delicious. Try the Miso Tom Yum soup, a mix of both and it's absolutely delicious. There is also great canned green tea, beer and wine. Not too fancy, but it's a pretty nondescript hole in the wall. The food is always good

I have been here for lunch, dinner, and 3 am, and the food is always consistently good. My favorite sushi plate is the Dragon. Great atmosphere and friendly staff makes for a very comfortable experience. The place is stylish but not pretentious. The music is a bit louder than normal, so if you're looking for a quiet place to talk over sushi, this may not be it. The location is around the corner from Tarpon Bend, next to the train tracks. Can be easily missed and may look a little shady from the outside, but absolutely worth a visit!

One of my favorite places to go, you can go for a quick bite or have a few friends/family and have a good time catching up. There is a bar for those that come as a pair or by yourself. Staff is super friendly, and genuine. The location is great so if after you want to go bar diving you're already downtown. It's open until 4am I believe so always good spot for a late night bite with a date or after work for those in the industry. It's a small, yet very well organized and clean place to hang out for a few drinks or a something to eat with friends. They have sake, various shots and daily specials. Always a great place even for lunch.

Food is okay, but seems expensive for what you get. Service is very, very slow, even when the restaurant is mostly empty. It seems they give priority to delivery orders while making their dine-in customers wait a diabolically long time to get their food. They give lame excuses; “your fish took a long time to cook”. They should simply apologize rather than making ridiculous excuses for poor service.

Delicious late night (4a) sushi stop with extraordinary food. Tried the A1A lobster specialty roll ($22 I believe), and the (very seafood) miso soup. Service was excellent but not forced. Pictured is the last bit of the lobster roll (looked too good to take a picture of first).

I was craving Sushi after being on airplanes all day ....The sushi is awesome, fun little atmosphere and the owner loves to interact with people and is the nicest person you’ll ever meet. He has several locations, but the one in Ft. Lauderdale should be a landmark. I highly recommended it.

The smallest sushi rolls ever made in history. Over priced and OK at best. Good thing there's a bunch of bars and clubs to inpair your senses. You have to be blackout drunk to think this place is good. Glad there are other places to eat.

Average sushi. Service could use additional training. My husband, our 2 teenagers and 9 month old son stopped in to eat here and it is a small place, nice lighting and probably a place you would not want to bring your 9 month old infant. Ha ha. While we were all trying to decide what to order, one of the servers was on the phone with a customer who apparently had a problem with the way their to-go order was bagged. The conversation was held in the dining area which I thought was very unprofessional and afterwards she continued to discuss the customer's complaints with her other co-workers. Not sure if this place just doesn't have a private area for matters like these, but it should have been handled discreetly. The establishment seemed pretty clean, no food on the floor and no garbage on the floor in the bathroom. However, their table tops are sticky and greasy. Since I'm a sushi addict, I have been to many sushi restaurants. This one ranks at the bottom for me and I will not be returning. If you do decide to dine here, keep in mind that they add their own gratuity. Unfortunately, my husband did not catch this and added $10 more to the bill which was far from deserving of the dining experience we had here.

The best sushi place downtown. Great service, plenty of tables and lots of bar seating. It's around the corner from Tarpon Bend, just enough off the Himmarshee strip that it doesn't get too crazy busy until later.

We got there at 9:40pm - music was fine but became more explicit and not what someone would want to hear when chewing. I felt like I was in a night club. Sadly, we couldn't eat fast enough to leave.

Awesome food. The spicy volcano was not overly spicy at $15 i was very satisfied. The fish had a nice creamy Smokey flavor the role that came under it had a crunch shrimp that you could tasted with every bit and the staff was nice.

This location isn’t “local” for us but we always make sure to stop in before a show or event at Broward Center. (Wilton Manors Sushi Song Gaysha is just as wonderful). Rolls are incredibly fresh, delicious, and priced right. Service is fast, friendly and always with a smile. For downtown sushi, Sushi Song can’t be beat.
