The most apathetic wait staff, like a bunch of zombies. Not once did the waitress come to see if I needed anything after dropping my food. Food was good quality and nicely presented and came out quickly, but nothing extraordinary. This was 4:30 On a Wednesday with only 2- 3 tables occupied. Horrible experience. Worst service ever!!! We walked in and asked to sit on the patio so they told us to wait while they cleaned the table. No one came back and said the table was ready. We had to ask the hostess what was the hold up. Then she sat us at the table and no server ever showed up. I had to go back to the hostess and ask her if we had a server. We ordered our food and drinks, but the soda never came until I asked for it. Food finally came and my vegetables were cold as ice. I had to send it back. They never brought the salad and soup that came with our meals. I asked to speak to the manager, Sam, who never came to address our issues. I told the hostess that this was the worst service I have ever had. I will never come here again. Only reason we didn’t go to a different restaurant was because it was late and we were very hungry.

Horrible place! After waiting one hour for food to be delivered, we got the wrong order. When we called them to ask them to send the right order they said they won’t do it. The owner came to the phone and was extremely rude. She definitely is in the wrong business. She has no knowledge on how to run a restaurant and is completely ignorant about customer service and how to treat customers right! Business won’t go too far with that attitude.

Extremely poor service. Waiters always have to call the manager to check on things. Timeframes given are also terrible both for in house dining and for deliveries. Really need to ramp up operations to justify the price of the food. Quality service of a $2 restaurant and they charge about $40 per person for a decent meal. Disappointing

Went there after the Elton John concert last week. I believe they know theres a venue across the street. Right?? Sat in the outside terrace. Very nice with a biscayne blvd view. After a few mins a server came up to take our drink order. Two beers, two waters pls. A while later another server showed up asking to take the drink order. We did not want to duplicated it. Sorry, some one else already did. Tks. Mins after our first server came back with the drinks. And... He grabbed them all from the rim. Yes, he put his fingers prints on rim of the four glasses. Exact where we will place our lips to enjoy them. Hey grab them from the foot from now on PLEASE. Took the food order n left. Food arrived n no napkins, no chops sticks, no utensils of any kind, no soy sauce. The runner kindly brought them all. We really appreciate basic service. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. Sushi at this place is average to good. We were hungry after such a good concert. So we asked for the menu to order some more rolls. Guess what. We waited n waited. So I stood up n asked to a table if I can take the menu to look at it. If I knew where the servers hide the menus I would have looked for them. I am not fancy. Just wanted to see the menu to order something else. Finally ordered more beers, more food n a to go order. ($$$) Thank u all so much. I hope the staff improves the service to mediocre to basic n see yall soon.

Very nice looking place w great menu options. But poor service and too much rice in all the rolls without the fish = Very Mediocre Experience. Had such high expectations but a huge let down on Valentine's day. Downside to coming at 630 is that we must have come at the same time as everyone else did and our table got forgotten by EVERYONE working there. Sat for 10 or more minutes before we were acknowledged by a server only after I asked a manager about who was taking care of us. Eventually we ordered drinks and some sushi rolls and then just sat and sat and sat some more. 20-25 minutes later our food started to arrive but the drinks were still no where in sight. Told the waiter to cancel them after which he finally brought them over. 45minutes to get drinks at a restaurant while everyone around us was enjoying themselves was not fun... Hollywood roll was a rip off. All rice and crunch... $5 worth for 11. Marlin roll was delicious, but the amount of rice is just all wrong. I have never seen such a thick layer of rice on any roll. Rene salad was delicious too, but had only 3 slivers of salmon in it... Not worth the $16 tag. Don't think they will care about my review or opinion based on how we were overlooked in the restaurant. Don't go when it's busy and don't expect too much from the sushi. Not sure if I'd give it another shot.

I can't help but feel that fresh, great quality fish is being wasted at the hands of unskilled sushimen. The sashimi slices are poorly cut, oddly shaped and way too big. Sushi is poorly assembled and falls apart before you touch it, presentation is lackluster. All in all, there are better places at this price point.

While the service was a little slow, the food was excellent! The portions were huge, with the pineapple fried rice and fried brownie dessert definitely being plates that you can share. My girlfriend liked the sushi, but said the shrimp tempura was a little soggy. Definitely a good place for a date night, but not for a group gathering.

Zero star is too good for this poor place!! We order a delivery from them pretty late at night and 30 minuets after we getting a massage that they can not deliver we just arrived to Miami after a long flight such a poor coustomer service ! They STEAL the money from you! Several months ago, my husband and I invited a couple of friends for dinner at this restaurant. Although the food was good the service was not. We paid the check including a tip of around 12% for very poor service (because we know a waiter lives from tips, so instead of $1 dollar he deserved, we paid much more). But, THE WORST part was when we realized that the waiter changed the final amount of our check and added more money for his tip! That is called STEALING!!! The tip is voluntary and it is according to the service. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, José. He asked me to send a copy of the check, a copy of my bank statement to compare numbers, and I did it. Since I didn't receive a reply I called him again a couple of times. He said it was going to review the case with his bosses and would be in touch with me. I sent a couple of emails in waiting for a reply. He never replied back to me. So, BE CAREFUL, because, in Sushi Sake Biscayne, they steal the money from you. They change the numbers on your bill! Be carfeful!

THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant! They were not paying any attention to my party. We got there and asked for a table, keep in mind the majority of the restaurant was empty. We sat there and waited for 20 minutes until i finally went up to the hostess and asked to be seated and she said to wait because they were clearing up a table for us now, although again the majority of the restaurant was empty and there was more than enough tables to seat us. Finally after an additional 15 minutes, we sat down. The waiter took forever to even come to the table and greet us, and especially to take our order, and bring out water and drinks. It was horrible service! I would have given the place 5 stars for just the food, but the service ruined my experience at the restaurant!

My favorite Sushi Sake location. They have all the good stuff here like specialty nigiri, great sake selections, full cooked menu and awesome spirits selection. Full bar and located just across from the arena. Love that they are open late so we can catch games then have late dinners. Great spot! Good and friendly people as well!

I walked over with my husband last night! We absolutely love sushi sake, we tend to visit a few around miami frequently! This time we did not enjoy the service. We did not even eat! It was about 11pm and the restaurant was empty inside, only about 4/6 tables were sitting outside. The hostess told us it would be about 1.5 to 2 hours for food! We told her we just wanted drinks and appetizers. She did nothing to engage with us. Anyway cant blame all sushi sake locations for this mishapp

My friends tuna tartare was warm and a total mess and my rice was cold and hard. $50 for starvation and almost toxic food but that’s only the items we got we had items we payed for that did not reach us. Open late! Delicious sushi rolls and hibachi meals. The fried rice is excellent and their shrimp sauce is very close to Samurai which is the only place that can do it right. I dined here on 12/27/2018 @ approximately 2100. The service was a little slow sitting at he bar. It's interesting, when I first walked through the door, the greeting was not restaurant style, i.e. Do you have a reservation or Would you like a table. The young lady said, "Can I help you," as if I were lost or wasn't supposed to be there. I asked about the bar and she directed me to it, almost reluctantly. The margaritas were okay, as is the case with most Miami restaurants, drinks are just not good in this part of the state. I ordered the Margarett Sushi roll which was very good. I ordered Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice to go without onions and scallions. I was told I had to get it without vegetables because they're already mixed together...which was an eyebrow raiser to me. Of note, one of the servers took one of those hand held electronic vapors from one of two patrons sitting at the bar and went into the back and took a puff, I can only assume, as he emerged from the back he expelled some smoke and handed it back to one of the gentlemen. He was standing there coughing, as if he had inhaled marijuana... That's interesting...vaping on the job and not washing his hands before getting back to work. Overall, an okay experience and the bartender was very nice, it would likely not be on my list of returns, but I may be open to trying it again at a later date.

My experience here was just odd. Food was 2/5 at best. And the service was bad food comes out whenever it’s done so people in the party were done eating before others even got their food, I was given the wrong sushi roll by the waiter who just mumbled at me the entire time. When asked when our guest roll was coming because everyone else has eaten we were given attitude. And the spicy tuna roll isn’t what you expect it’s not traditional it’s tuna with some weird hot sauce type sauce on it not spicy mayo.

You know what’s worse than waiting two hours for food. Waiting two hours for food when my guest ordered from the same place, hours later and got there food first. Not only did they say the fried rice was tasteless, but the manager Jose was a piece of work, he never even called back after saying he would send the order out.

It's more expensive because its downtown. I ordered hibachi shimp... the shrimp was completely overcooked (like rubber), the vegetables consisted of carrots and onions, and the salad was brown. Disappointed!

I have to say how delightful Sushi Sake is. The staff was very polite and under the circumstances of it being the 4th of July worked fairly quick to get the food out. The food was right on point to freshness and taste. I recommend to anyone who lives or is around the area. Hopefully you will enjoy as much as we did.

I said ok ... and I try to order tempura ice cream .... and an employee from sushi sake tells me well it might be melt the time it arrives to you.... are you kidding me ..... I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I got to say the customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot well kept consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.
