Horrible food but great drinks. I ordered my steak medium rare, it came out well done. My friend asked if the chicken and waffles could come with all wings, the server said yes. It came with one wing and three pieces of dark meat that my friend did not want. He explained the issue and an attempt was made to correct it. The server brought out a plate with one wing and three pieces of dark meat. My friend had to explain it again and then the manager came out. Once the manager understood what a chicken wing looked like the problem was solved. We received a plate with three additional chicken wings. My other friend was taking part of her salad to go home. She requested some of the dressing to take with her. The server brought out a container of dressing that did not belong with her salad. She had to bring it up, but it got fixed. Not much attention to detail here. The root beer float drink that I ordered was amazing though.

Did you see the hype. Service was extremely slow. Food was undercooked. Menu was confusing with side items vs appetizer prices so they charged the higher price. Everything was Ridiculously over priced! Drink for the bells and whistles started at $43. Side note: I will pay for good food and drinks but this place was just hype. Manager did correct bill for server not explaining the different prices which should not have to be explained nor exist. Complete rip off!

My experience was absolutely horrible. The customer service was horrendous. I was so excited about coming to this establishment that I convinced my friends that this was the place to be. My server barely checked on our table. I felt very rushed to make a decision on my order. I felt that he was more attracted to bigger parties coming in the door. We waited a while for our orders to come. Other parties received there food before us and we arrived before them. The meal I ordered I requested for it to be well done. Blood was oozing out of the my burger. The waiter never apologized for his mistake. I was very upset and displeased with the service. I will never come back and absolutely don’t recommend anyone to come to the South Beach Miami location.

The staff was good as was the food but nothing extraordinary for the price. I was surprised to find that our water was served in clear plastic cups at room temperature in Miami of all places. The napkins were cocktail sized and not provided with our meal as neither were plates/silverware to share our appetizers. I had to ask for the napkins after we began eating. I went with my family for the hype of the experience but sadly would not return.

Cool place cute candy and sweets shop. The young lady at the register was friendly. I then went and sat at the bar. Drinks were pricey but may be on par with other Southbeach bars. They do charge a 20% service fee that says will be shared with servers for a party of 1. The the bartender Adrian was super nice.

Probably the worst dinner experience I’ve had in a long time . Made a reservation and got seated right on time- hence the one star. It took a very long time to get water and drinks took so long that you won’t even bother getting a second . The food was mediocre at best . From what our table had, The Alfredo was creamy but lacked any type of seasoning, the burger was ok, salmon salad ok, apps ok. The tables were unstable , they were definitely understaffed and in general this place had zero ambiance for a Thursday night . Luckily my family is entertaining . The air conditioning did not work, there were 2 fans and a portable cooler - thank goodness it was not a warm night. I will not be wasting another $240 plus 20% on this place for 3 adults and a kid

We had my granddaughter birthday celebration and we had a great time. The food and desserts are over the top. Drinks are served over dry ice which was a nice touch. Our server David was excellent and he made sure everything was just right. Recommend but a bit pricey.

Food is underwhelming and overpriced. Drinks are the main attraction. The drinks leave more to be desired as far as alcohol goes. It is a good environment for the South Beach experience if you are going up and down the strip.

My friends and I made a reservation for my sister's birthday and told the restaurant it was her special day. When we got there, we asked the host what they were to do for the occasion, and they said that we had to tell our server about the birthday surprise. Little disappointing since we told them in advance and expected a nice treat for her. Then, with that said, I had to sneak around to find the waiter three times to tell them about her birthday. Also, many times throughout our stay, random waiters and waitresses gave us other people's drinks and food and we even got two checks at the end of the night (ours and, again, another tables). Expensive menu, okay food, alright drinks, overall: not worth paying so much money for a tacky experience.

Went here for my daughter's 21st birthday. Had a reservation for 7 people and everything went smoothly. Service was great, food was delicious! Definitely going back. And yes, those big bubble drinks are $30! The place is a little pricey but I expect that for Manhattan.

Wish there was another more stars to choose from, 5 stars does not justify the amazing service we received from their staff and manager! Was there in May for my friend's bach weekend, we all came from Toronto, Ontario and knew we had to stop by Sugar Factory. Adriana our waitress was the most kindest person we met along with manager Edward which was a sweetheart. Best service of all of MIAMI !! They were alway there to make sure us ladies were doing well. Food and drinks were amazing as well! 100% reccomend going to this restaurant! Totally going back one day to Miami or hoping they open a location in Toronto!!! :)

This was my first experience with the sugar factory and I have to say it, it has been a memorable one. Edward and his team were extremely attentive, the food was super yummy and the drinks are delicious but definitely worth the price. I loved that the staff came around to check on us but never in an overbearing way. It has great location and great service all around. Highly recommend!

Decided the sugar factory was a must and came on a busy night and were seated in the bar. We only wanted drinks so it was perfect for us. The food did look lovely mind! We had a cocktail which was pretty expensive at $30+ but it was a great experience! My partner also had a strawberry milkshake which was an impressive size! Would definitely return again.

I recently visited The Sugar Factory at 1991 Broadway NYC for my cousin’s birthday. The staff was wonderful, warm, friendly, accommodating and kind. We wanted our seats moved and the supervisor made it happen immediately without a problem. Our waiter, Dom was super attentive, honest, patient, kind and funny. The food and drinks were delicious and served promptly. The staff really appeared to work as a supportive team with one an another and enjoyed working in the environment. All staff would ask if we were okay or needed anything and that’s rare. We really appreciated it. They are high energy, enthusiastic and very attentive. I will return to this location to celebrate the next special occasion in my life.

Burger with the plantains was really good, fries were good. My sister ordered the shrimp crepe and didn't like it. Shrimp were tiny. Server was kind but not so attentive because he had way too many tasks taking care of. Had to wait like 15 minutes for the check. The to-go box tiny as ever. Drinks were really good. Bottom line: Food good, service not so attentive

This was an amazing experience! Me and my friend came to town from Atlanta, Ga and this was our last tourist stop. The customer service was unmatched as soon as we walked in the door. We were heading to the airport, so we had suitcases. They carried our bags for us. The manager Edward, and our waitress Adrianna were so very helpful and sweet! They were very knowledgeable about this business and the menu helping me and my friend figure out what we would like to drink and eat. This is actually some of the best customer service I have ever had. The food and drinks were delightful, & I look forward to returning!

The service was absolutely amazing, I mean from the time I walked in until the time I left. We were flying back to Atlanta so we had all our luggage with us and they actually accommodated us. The food was so delicious and the service was A1. I had great conversations with my waitress Adriana she was so helpful and understanding. She provided great service and made my experience great. Ask for her if you ever go she is amazing. Edward also made sure we were okay from start to finish, checking in on our table periodically. Over all this is worth the money and the experience I really enjoyed myself here.

So this is my first time here and my daughter is loving it! I ordered the Salmon salad and my daughter the club sandwich with a vanilla milkshake and a New York cheesecake. So let's see how this turns out.... Well I had the Salmon salad and my daughter had the club sandwich with a vanilla milkshake. The food was scrumptious that salad was perfect! However I was disappointed with the fruit flies I was sitting on the inside and spent too much time waving them away. Also noticed the lady who was making the fabulous desserts with marshmallows and the torch blowing out the flames with her mouth, not clean. My server was good.

Every time we come to Sugar Factory we are never disappointed. A great place to host a birthday party or celebration of any kind, this hip restaurant appeals to all age groups. Coming from West Palm, we often are willing to make the 2 hour commute just to come enjoy a night at Sugar Factory. It’s amazing how the quality of the food is not sacrificed for Sugar Factory’s specialization in dessert! Edward went out of his way to make us feel welcome and the service was great- very accommodating. We will continue to make our way over here for years to come!

Good birthday spot and a fun experience...but pricey. Went to the Lincoln Square location for my daughter's 13th birthday with ten of her friends. Glad we made reservations way in advance, otherwise I doubt a table would have been available. Food was good, but save plenty of your appetite for dessert (that's what it's all about).

Food was okay, service was not. We had a coupon that was given to us a half hour earlier from a worker at sugar factory in a differnt location to use at this location then we were told it was not good there. Came for lunch and spend 3 hours here. After we finally ordered our drinks it took almost an hour to get them. When they did come we got cups with ice in it and had to wait another 10 minutes for our drink to be poured. After we ate we ordered a dessert only so they can sing happy birthday to my son. They brought the dessert out without singing and ruined the surprise. Took another 40 minutes to get our check and never saw a manager around anywhere. Will never return again, 3 hours for lunch is rediculous.

Not much decorations upon first look, but once you get to the back in the restaurant the vibe and ambience was great. The famous people on the wall and the sweet smell set the mood. The prices are outrageous, but I used a groupon which made my experience more enjoyable. Drinks were strong and good and food was typical bar food that you could get anywhere. People usually go for the goblets and the desserts. I had a great time.

Warning use extreme caution. Heard of sugar factory so our family wanted to try it. Service was great Christian was amazing but all drinks that have alcohol can come virgin style which is what we did for our almost 3 year old she took a drink and didn't like it so we try it as parents( wish we would have tried it first) but there is alcohol in her kids drink. We get a different one and the server apologized but nothing from management. We actually saw maybe the manager giving our server a hard time for having to take the drink off our check. We already ordered our food although we contemplated just leaving. But against better judgement we stayed for our food which was ok burger was under cooked but my husband ate it anyway. (He doesn't send food back). Very disappointed in the handling of the situation or lack of handling from management. Questioning myself on possibly consulting someone. UPDATE UPDATE: I was contacted by owner or upper management would say I’m very please at how quickly and professionally this was handle. Was very understanding and listened to the concerns I had and was very apologetic and was willing to help in any way he could . Would definitely say this is how all owners should handle situations.Because of the way he handled this I would definitely visit the sugar factory again and I have nothing but good things to say regarding this matter and how it was handled.

I liked the food. I didn’t think it was way overpriced for South Beach. I thought the service was great. The two things that really got under my skin though was the 20% mandatory tip. I would have left 20% anyway but I just don’t like being mandated to do it. But the main problem with this place is the insanely loud music. It is defiantly not a relaxing environment. I couldn’t finish my food fast enough to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. It’s a-shame too because I would have loved to have tried some of their other cool cocktail selections. But you can’t even hear yourself think much less have a conversation with the people you are dining with.

Went here for a birthday celebration. So did everyone else in Manhattan. Crowded (it was very difficult to get up from the table to go to the bathroom), and we waited an hour past our reservation to be seated because people weren’t leaving after eating. It was dark, but not in an atmospheric way, more like a club. Music was loud and the staff was singing happy birthday to someone every 3 minutes. I am not exaggerating. I had chicken and waffles which were really, really good! I cleaned my plate. The drinks were ok...sugar and smoke blah blah blah. Pre-teens and teenagers will have fun here.

All hype. Extremely overpriced. Mediocre drinks and food. We came as a family of 12 to celebrate a graduation. The waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude. We sat for 15 b4 we even were greeted. 30 mins b4 we were able to place any order. Specifically asked if the milkshakes would come out with the food we were told no they take a while to be made. The shakes came out b4 the food. Noticed the manger doing table touches but she never once stopped at our table. Just an overall disappointing experience especially for the amount of money that was spent. Extremely disappointed, third time here and this by far was the worse experience.

Whenever I go to places like this which I am paying for the scenery as in the sugar factory my main focus on Miami Beach is cleanliness. We didn't by the cakes or cupcakes because there were little gnats flying around them. The appetizers were very small for the price that we paid which was $38 and they also automatically add on a 20% gratuity

The food selections was a good variety however I opted for a salad because I really wasn’t in the mood for anything else really. I ordered the spring salad and added chicken, the chicken looked and taste like it was boiled and put on the plate just like that. Eventually by the time I got home my stomach went OFF smh. My friend had the spinach artichoke dip which was good (but I had better), my other friend had steak with mash which she liked.

First time visiting the sugar factory and I was not let down. I stayed in the hotel right above so it was very convenient for me to just go down for breakfast or even just for a drink. My boyfriend is very picky with his drinks and I was so surprised I didn’t hear not one complaint about his drinks at the sugar factory. And the food was just amazing from breakfast to dinner I have no complaints. We even had his bday dinner Thursday night the staff brought a heart shaped donut with candles and sang happy birthday for him the staff was amazing. Edward was an amazing host to us to top it all off very nice and helpful and always check up on us to make sure we were good I have zero complaint from this place. Food, staff, drinks everything amazing.

Poor service! Walked out before ordering! Waiter had us waiting approx 15 min before we walked out & as you see on pic place was dead at that time! I noticed 20% gratuity is included in bill. Therefore waiters/waitress don't work for their tip. It's obvious they cater to specific clientele based on the celebrities that have visited that location & they proudly display on their menu! We must not have fit that profile! Not to mention the overpriced items on the menu! My friend really wanted to go so I was willing to eat/drink there for her sake.

Nice for birthdays but a little pricey. The staff is great quick with everything drinks were always full. And the food was good too. I ordered a mushroom burger which came with fries and was super yum. The only thing I would warn about is having your entire party arrive ON TIME!!!! Because they bring all the food and drinks out at the same time everyone needs to be present before they seat you and if anyone is late you risk losing your reservation.

The worse service in my life. I did a reservation to have a great time on my birthday with my friends. 1. The service was slow and horrible 2. We waited more than 1/2 hour seating on the table for our waitress. Plus 1/2 hour waiting for the table. 3. There was not a single glass clean to serve us water. 4. We ate the appetizer with our finger because we were hungry and tired of waiting. 5. Two of my friends ordered fettuccine Alfredo both of them didn’t like it( couldn’t eat It) one of them found a hair( disgusting). 6. The price are very high for the quality of food, services and environment. 7. Never again I will come back!!! 8. I have to call the department of consumer.

If you plan to have your birthday here, make reservations in advance online. The restaurant’s atmosphere was great, our waiter provided us with great service and the menu is extremely diverse (desserts, entrees, appetizers). The Goblets are a great seller here! They also make crazy shakes!

I heard mixed reviews on this place but had to check it out because I love sweets. I had low expectations and I was very pleased. Besides being super expensive, it was a unique and cool experience. I loved the entertainment which was a violinist at one point. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. We went late at night for drinks and grabbed fries. Were amazed! Grabbed candy at the store and came back for brunch the next day. Again the food and drinks were amazing. Banana split crepe tasted like a real banana split, fresh fruit. Despite it being extremely busy both times, I thought the wait staff did a great job.

Loved the Sugar Factory! The giant cocktails were AMAZING and worth ordering. I had the Mai Tai and my hubby had the Coconut Banana. The drink itself is entertaining as the server pours the cocktail in your huge preped glass as you get to watch the "magic" smoke happen. I can't talk about the food since we ordered cocktails and dessert. But, we saw other tables' food and the plates looked appealing. For dessert we ordered the Rainbow Donut Ice Cream Sandwich, and it was yummy. The service was great, Stephanie our server was friendly. This is a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday as we witnessed the servers singing HB with sparkles several times....it made me want to celebrate my birthday which was 3 months ago...lol. Overall, we loved it and look forward to visiting soon!

The food was good which is why I rated 3 stars, but the service is HORRIBLE. The hostess was on her cell phone the whole time. Our server didnt seem to be interested in providing a good guest experience since his tip was already built into the total bill. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and taken care of. We got a table right away. We had set up reservations via open table. Dinner was fantastic. The chicken was out of this world. The drinks amazing and fun to watch. We got to see the huge ice cream bowl they have come out for a party of kids. It was amazing.

We went to this location on August 5, 2019, we made a purchase in the candy portion only for$45.39. Our cashier (Dolce E.) copied my credit card information and charged $452 06 on my card. When I went back on 6 August to speak to a manager on duty. He wasn't interested. DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION, they hire THIEFS!!!

We went at 430pm on a Friday there was no wait but 2 servers and a billion other workers standing around not giving a damn about customers. I was a tourist visiting and I had to visit Sugar Factory! I made reservations because I read that they were known to have a crowd! I did not enjoy the drink because there was nothing tasty about it and I couldn’t tell it was alcohol in there. The food was not nothing to rave about either but if you’re visiting it’s worth going for the “experience”. Just don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t live up to the hype.

I recently attended this location for a birthday. The atmosphere was nice. Our waiter was nice and had us laughing. However, when the server bought my daughters food he knocked over the water all over her and the seat and walked away. He never returned to clean it nor bring napkins. We had to request napkins and had to clean it ourselves. The floors were sticky and the bathrooms were extremely dirty and nasty. Our family had a nice time and loved the food and drinks but as they need to be more attentive to the environment.

This was the worst experience. The people are very rude and we had a 7pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 45 min after. Once we were seated, we didn’t get any food until almost 90 min after being seated. When we asked the waiter what was taking so long, he snapped at us and said he is doing the best he can and we should be patient because they are very busy! What???? How is waiting over 2 hours before getting any food not being patient? Oh and If you want a drink without alcohol, then it’s only $5 cheaper so be aware when you order a drink for anyone underage. $35 for soda that bubbles for a few minutes is definitely not worth it. Save your money and go elsewhere!!

We had the pleasure of eating at Sugar Factory twice during our trip to Miami. Both times, we were blown away by the taste of the food and the kind & attentive service we received! The first day, we had lunch poolside at Hotel Victor and were served by Jairo. He was super friendly and fun! We highly recommend the Ocean Blue drink (definitely share this with more than one person) and the burgers. The S’mores milkshake was also to die for. The second day, we had breakfast and everything we ordered was fantastic. The waitstaff also recommended other great places for us to check out in Miami during our stay. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers, Edward, during our breakfast. He genuinely cared about our dining experience and made us feel very welcomed. We will most certainly be back during our next trip to Miami! Highly recommend this Sugar Factory location!

WORST PLACE TO GO TO. reserved a table for us to wait extra time in the hall. The person who took our names at the front let in people cut us who had about 4-5 people mind you we were only two. Waiter that brought us up was complaining on our way up saying he didn’t get paid enough to do this to another coworker who was in front of him, assigned us a table without giving us any menus for us to look at. Mind you it was our first time here and definitely our last anywhere else, we had big expectations for the amount of money we saw it was online. The experience was not a positive one at all. up stairs the floor was filthy and looked like they were understaffed. I had to ask a waiter that passed by us for menús, told her no one gave us any made it a point i was not happy at all. She made an attempt was sweet but the damage was already done. Appetizer was alright and we got the sampler, which should be out have been good but it had greasy tenders with old celery sticks. My boyfriend asked for a well done burger and instead got a well burnt burger, mine was alright. the drink i will say was good the Globblet. we didn’t even take anything home, i am beyond dissatisfied and disappointed by the way the place is. Ohhhh and hold on the manager started cursin out his staff shouting the F word infront of our neighbor table that had kids. worst place ever do not go and save your money somewhere else.

Poor service, wet floors with food debris sliding around. The music was so loud the waiter could not even hear us. However the food was good, which does not mean as much when one goes to explore the bathrooms. (They were dirtier than a city post the fall of Rome.) And finally the stickiness... why was everything so sticky? The walls, the table, the menu... I felt sticky coming out of there. I would not reccomend this for whatever your event may be. Its time has passed.

Shout out to Edward! I had a great and fun experience at this restaurant. I went with my friends over Spring Break to finally have one of the goblet drinks we were so excited about. The drink was amazing. The food was very tasty as well. They had great vegetarian options. I had the California veggie burger with fries and a Caesar salad. I was very satisfied with the whole experience and the service as well. Edward was one of the people who serviced us and made sure we had a great time. I am very excited that the Sugar Factory is coming to Atlanta, GA soon and my friends and I will definitely be one of the first people in line for its grand opening!

Lives up to the hype and I can see why celebrities love this place! Excellent for a more upscale type fun place to go with friends or to have celebrations. The location was great and the interior of the restaurant was so cute! It had a candy store vibe but with the classiness of a NYC restaurant. They had a great menu and the goblet is worth the money because its all part of the signature Sugar Factory experience. Definitely grab a souvenir rubber ducky on the way out! Plenty of opportunities for pictures and is so fun. The food was prepared well and the servers were sufficient. Reservations make life so much easier so definitely prepare ahead of time because they're always busy. Definitely coming back for more!

Initially I was excited to eat at this restaurant based off of the popularity I seen. Once me and my family sat down to eat we were told we could only receive the 50% discount if we chose to eat street side. Mind you we’re on south beach so there was a constant stream of people walking by bumping our table and staring at out food. We waited 20 minutes after ordering our food until we were served our drink which was 3 cokes and a sprite which came out to $28 alone. We ordered basic items off the menu which were wings, fries and some pizza. The chicken wings had broken bones in them and they were really fatty and gelatinous. The fries were basic Ore-Ida French fries and the pizza was subpar. The waiting staff weren’t communicating with each other. Truly unsatisfied and probably won’t return to any other sites that were suggested by their manager Edward. Overall experience wasn’t pleasant. I assume their $40-$50 drinks are what their known for. Eat at your own risk.

Went there last night with a party if 25 quinceanera. We made reservations for the evening. The waiter we had was a doll but the Manager was horrible. The food took forever to come out which was understandable due to the amount of ppl we had, so with that happening our reservations was extended. The Manager on staff 9/28/19 was getting upset with us instead of how long the food and everything else was getting to our table.... So the Manager kept coming over to make sure we knew that our time was up and we over stayed our welcome..... We were then told to leave and we had to eat our cake in the limo! With what we spend and how many ppl we brought this should have never been a problem! I wish I got the name of this Manager..... I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will share my experience as well

Over priced for the food and the experience. Had an 8pm reservation, got there at 730pm said we would have to wait for 45 minutes. After 7 tables were open we had to remind them. When we got to the table we waited for a while to find out they sent our server on break. Onions rings over cooked, calamari rubbery. Burgers where pretty good and huge. The restaurant itself needs a serious facelift and has not been kept up. Save your money go somewhere else or a newer location. Oh and if your going to have an open kitchen concept KEEP YOUR KITCHEN CLEAN!

First off, the host ignored us and wouldn't make eye contact when we were the only customers there. We had a reservation under my name (Denise) which he located and proceeded to call me Dennis. Hello, look up at your guest instead of your tablet to realize I am not a guy named Dennis. Then, the 47 page menu was so sticky that many pages were stuck together. Gross, so I asked him for another. We only ordered milkshakes and the waitress took out table setting with cloth napkin. Hello, the ice cream is messy. Am I not worthy of a real napkin. When I asked for more napkins she gave us 2 small beverage napkins. My water glass stayed empty. I don't think the movie stars would get that kind of service. You are charging $39 for a drink and $19 for a milkshake. The service needs to be stepped up. Also, there was no soap in the unisex single restroom. You have a good concept but you also need to have good service.

My friends and I came here from downstate and we got seated immediately. the waiter had a man bun ( so u know when you see him) he took 20 minutes to take our drink and food order and then it was another 45 minutes before we actually got our drinks. The table next to us got their drinks before us and they have arrived after us. I asked another waitress where our drinks were and she said she couldn't help because she didn't know what we ordered. finally when the waiter brought us our drinks we asked how long it would be for food and we only got an excuse. Finally when he told me it was going to be another 15 minutes we canceled our food order . the waiter never once stopped by to check in on us or apologize for us for the long wait. I highly would not recommend this restaurant ever for anyone ever !

The huge Sugar Factory alcoholic beverage I drank had little to NO alcohol in it....not sure it was worth $40 just for one drink with dry ice in it. We arrived to our reservation on time, after being seated we were not greeted at all for 30 minutes apparently we were invisible, we finally got the attention of the manager (Edward) who was pleasant and tried apologized for the inconvenience. Our food was subpar, we didn't receive service, when the bill came there was gratuity automatically added for service we did not receive other than the accommodations of the GM. I'll state that we were black women and five other tables were sat after us and they received service immediately, they weren't groups of black people. Edward was amazing, but he was also the General Manager, no one served us and the waiter assigned refused, it was strange. I'll never come back and I have informed everyone I know of the initial treatment.

On June 29th we were visiting New York city. We planned to go to the SF after our show so while in route to the show I made a reservation for 3 at 5 o'clock. The lady whom I spoke to and made the reservations with gave me an address of 8th Ave. After our show at Madison Square Garden we walked to the location that the SF employee gave us. Upon entering the location we immediately knew something was wrong (plus the air conditioning was not working) it was small and had no food. I approached a male employee who was more than helpful. He made a phone call and stated that our location was Broadway not 8th Avenue. He also stated we were the 4th customer that day to arrive at the incorrect location. We then took a cab and arrived in the pouring rain to the correct location on Broadway. Also, to mention the signage was terrible we walked past 2x before we even saw the small cubed signage. Upon arriving at 4:57pm we noticed the restaurant was very warm and dirty, but tired and hungry we stayed. We sat upstairs near the elevator and bar area. We waited for our server for 20 minutes until a water was placed on the table. We ordered an appetizer combo, burgers and drinks. Needless to say the food was cold and lacked flavor. The drinks were just okay. The large goblet banana drink we ordered froze too quickly and we fought to drink the $33 dollar drink (no alcohol) the entire meal. I must mention the blasting music had several profanities and was very unpleasant for the amount of children that were present. Even the F BOMB and the N word in 2 separate songs could be heard. We were not expecting this experience as this is a place we've looked forward to visiting and my 11 year old daughter was super excited about our choice to dine while visiting NYC. We were extremely disappointed and to receive a $160 bill while not impressed with anything that was offered. Just all around disappointing.

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Sadly all of my friends had to work so I spoiled myself for the day. I had a great time. When you first walk in they have a little candy store up front along with a little bar that you can buy sweets from such as doughnuts. I was seated very quickly and my food came really fast. I ordered a bacon blue cheese burger, along with a Cookie Monster milkshake. I was so amazed by the different colors and the creations of the different menu items. My burger was extremely amazing and it was really big. I loved my milkshake it was so good and so creative. Because the milkshakes look so extravagant the whole restaurant stares at the server bringing out the milkshake, and the restaurant is wondering who is getting it. It’s just a funny sight to see. Although I was by myself this time I still had an amazing time and I can wait to go back

Prior to this visit I have never heard of a place like this. Most people seem to come for their birthday which is a great reason to go. The place is clean and honored our reservation down to the minute which to me was remarkable. Everything is obviously over priced but you don't come for the food but rather the experience. Paying for the experience is 7/10 worth the money you would spend here. The desserts are beautiful and the drinks are quite something else. The food was tasty, not over or under cooked. Their sampler platter was the best part of the whole experience to me because of how light the fried food felt on stomach. Their is a good amount of work put into the desserts and it shows. If you have money to blow or need to represent that kind of money for Instagram its worth the cost.

Nice decor and more room then their Meatpacking District locale but the food is okay....it is more of an entertainment experience than somewhere good to eat or drink. It is a great place to take social media pictures. Though the open space in the front of the property that is open to the public is a breeding ground for vagrants.

Food is actually really good, with a wide variety of unique drinks. However, this is a prime tourist trap with terrible customer service. As many have mentioned, there a mandatory 20% tip included -- this is pretty common in Miami, but it creates a situation where the wait staff have no incentive to do a good job or make you happy. We were told half off food if we eat outside by the promoter standing out front. The waiter comes by, I confirm with him that we can get half off the food (he tells me either half off drink or food, but not both). When we get the check, the food was full price. I ask and I'm told that the promotion is only if you eat on the sidewalk. I say that's fine, but we were told "outside", and our waiter doubled down on this. Otherwise we would have gone inside with the air conditioning. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, he asks us which promoter we spoke with who told us it was anywhere outside. I had no clue. He leaves, comes back, and insists the promotion is only for the sidewalk. I again say we were told TWICE we could get the half off, and tell him where the promoter was located, so he can go figure out who it was but it's silly to expect me to remember the name of somebody I spoke to for 10 seconds. He finally comes back with a revised check. This would NEVER have happened if he didn't know we were forced to tip, because I can't believe he didn't immediately give us the discount. Instead he argued with me twice. Not to mention I felt like we were being scammed. How can two employees tell me one thing then a 3rd tries to tell me otherwise and bully me into paying full price, acting like its my fault for not knowing who told me the promotion applied to all of the outside.

Watch out for this place. Ate here and received a 20% mandatory service charge. I wasn’t surprised as that seemed to be the norm with all Miami restaurants. It wasn’t until the waiter called out the service charge and said that the money did not go to him but to the restaurant (i.e. the service charge is not a tip). He stated the service charge was basically a fee for the location and the views. At first I felt terrible that I wasn’t tipping my servers all weekend cause I believed the service charge was considered gratuity. Once I went to sign my check though I noticed at the bottom of the receipt it says “20% service fee has been added to your bill. This is shared with your server. Additional gratuity is at your discretion”. Our server Anthony was trying to take advantage of a group of tourists in attempt to persuade us to double tip. I would avoid this place due to their borderline fraudulent business practices.

I give 1 star because my daughter said she had a good time with her friends. Staff brought food before water. I reserved that 2 infants were apart of my party and they didn't have any high chairs when we were sitted and had to wait for them to be unoccupied. Had a party of ten only got 1 chicken tender per person and 1 mini burger per pseron. Dessert was bought with a $150 cake that was missing 2 couture pops. With 8 people why was 2 cheesecakes bought out? This is a once in a lifetime experience! Thanks but no thanks for your service. Hope the waiter enjoy that $78 gratuity tip!!

I went during happy hour, I think, and they had buy one get one free bowls. I was there for a little while (probably a bit too long) and I don't fully remember everything that happened after so I know I had a good time. Their outdoor seating on the sidewalk was a super nice place to hang out and enjoy the Miami heat with a tasty beverage. I'd definitely go again if I'm ever in Miami again.

I came here because my wife wanted to eat here as she had been to the one in Vegas. This restaurant was pretty nasty, the menus were sticky and the ones we had were not bound properly. We never received refills of water even though it's almost 90 degrees out. Our server was nice but no one checked on us to see how the meal was, if we needed anything, etc. As for the food, it was forgettable and even the ketchup was bad - how can you mess up ketchup?! Oh, and they were supposed to open at 2pm but they didn't till almost 20 past - constantly telling us they only needed 2 minutes. And the public area was not even air conditioned. I will avoid this place in the future.

Great location but everything else is very average. A $20 "cocktail" is served in a plastic cup...and look nothing like the menu. 20% TIP IS NOT OPTIONAL! Talk about creating a disincentive for your wait staff... IMHO THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP TO BE AVOIDED.

We came from out-of-town to celebrate our friends birthday! This location was more like the Sweat Factory!!! The A/C was broke, and the bathrooms were disgusting. All together we orderd a salad with shrimp, alfredo, and fish tacos! My shrimp look like they were frozen, and put in the microwave. The alfredo had absolutely no seasoning at all, and the fish tacos were bland. I guess each location varies. Where I'm from we are able to choose a song for the "birthday person", and they get a slice of cheesecake. The "birthday girl" received a rice krispy treat with some type of whipped topping. The only positive thing is the good service from our waiter Will, despite the heat!!!!

Great location. We were able to sit at our table and watch all the activity on South Beach. However, the service was incredibly slow and all we ordered were some deep fried oreos. Very over priced for average food in my opinion. But the worst part was that after 40 minutes waiting for our food, when the waiter brought it he spilled one of those giant $40 goblet drinks all down my back and on my infant. And he immediately walked away. No assistance and no apology at first. The people at the next table offered me their bar napkins. After I went to the bathroom and washed my arms and pulled my wet hair back and got back to the table, I was finally offered a handful of tiny bar napkins and an apology. I understand it was an accident, but the staff could have handled it better.

This was my first time at the Sugar Factory, but my experience was incredible! The food was amazing and the portions were huge. I personally had the Nutella crepe, and it was definitely very filling. The service was also a huge plus. Our waiter was attentive and quick, and Edward also made sure to check on us throughout our time at the restaurant. Definitely one of the go to restaurants on the strip. I can't wait for the Sugar Factory opening in Atlanta!

Very cool place for kids to have a nice time while the parents can be off the the side. Parking was not much of an issue. Plenty of local garages. Do be careful about which garage the sugar factory validates and which it does not. Otherwise you will dropping 45$ to park your car. Adult drinks are pretty cool looking. Likely get diabetes if you manage to get drunk off of them but that’s the point of going so enjoy!

I was very disappointed in the service I received and this is our first time at a Sugar Factory and Miami. After all the reviews and post I seen online the Sugar Factory Miami need to retrain there staff. After waiting almost an hour and me just about shouting at the one staff worker I seen me and my friend finally got to order a milkshake. It took a little over 30min for the shake to come out. We wanted to start with dessert first then eat, but our waiter NEVER came back, so we ate somewhere else. I honestly only gave them two stars because the milkshake was okay but the glass was too high and I lost my spoon in it. They may want to invest either in longer spoons or a little shorter cup . This place is overpriced for what they are serving then they charge a extra 20% for I guess gratuity. I had to get up and go inside to pay because no check ever came and I wanted to make sure I don’t see my face on a wanted poster for not paying. Then I never got to order the drink I wanted, but I guess that’s a plus for me since I saved $50, but they be looking so cool with the dry ice. Not happy at all.

I would not dare return. Food was just okay. My overpriced turkey burger was served with nothing on it... I had to request toppings. The service was extremely slow. My waitress could have been more attentive. Drinks are super over priced. $17 for a small gin and tonic. $40 for a bowl& tasted like there may have been 2 shots of liquor in the juice. I gad the shrimp pasta and paid $27 for the plate. Went half with a friend on our calamari appetizer $14 and my bill came out to $98.69 due to a 20% service charge (it was only 4 of us) resort taxes at 2% along with state taxes at 5%. Was told but the waiter he only receives 3% of the service charge. Staff was friendly and our waiter Juan was amazing. The place is kid friendly also. We paid for parking

I’ve heard the name and all about their infamous goblet drinks, so finally decided to try it out. I was less than impressed I must say. Upon walking towards a staff member they immediately addressed to me go inside where there was no one to greet me and all visible staff seemed interested in their own conversations. When I walked out I asked another staff person & was told i could sit outside. The chairs outside have to be weather proof so they are not comfortable, just a tip. Only ordered the infamous goblet, which for 43$ was not worth it. The taste was decent but more ice than anything so don’t be fooled. Didn’t even feel a buzz from it, drink your alcohol elsewhere. Automatic gratuity of 20% is included so that drink came out close to 55$.

Miami Beach restaurant that serves delicious drinks but a little over hype. The drinks taste very good but not that strong, don't expect to feel remotely buzzed from one of the big drinks, they're more for the aesthetic. As for food, I had one of their burgers and it was really, but nothing mind blowing about it. The dessert on the other hand was delicious! I would go back for just the desserts but not for the drinks or food. We had a violinist play during our visit some techno-classic stuff and it was very cool but just very short.

Terrible service. I made a reservation for Friday night a week in advance, and when we arrived, the host said the only two tables were in front of the host counter or in front of the kitchen. He indicated these two tables were highly undesirable, so he said we could wait 15 minutes for a better table. Despite our reservation, which should have already held a decent table, we waited 20 more minutes for a table. Then, we were seated upstairs, in the back by the bathrooms, next to a table full of screaming kids and coughing people. After waiting another 10 minutes for somebody to stop at our table, we chose to leave, figuring it wasn't worth it to have our food coughed on and our meal disrupted by the yelling, flailing kids and their caregivers constantly bumping our table trying to calm them down.

Sugar Factory South Beach is right on the strip where all the action is. The service is great with a friendly and amazing staff. The environment there is so fun and appealing and decorated nice! I can tell you from first hand experience that the burgers, the chicken and waffles and all there desserts are out of this world. The managers Domingo and Edward always coming around to make sure you are having a pleasant experience. I will definitely be back again.

Comparing to the Sugar Factory in Chicago, this one is a bit disappointing... If I went here first, maybe I would be thrilled, but sunce I was in one in Chicago first, this one sucks... I had to chase server to bring me the check, and the cocktail tasted like cold soda with smoke (I ordered some... watermelon-something.. don't remember the name...) I also ordered some rainbow sliders and sample plate appetizers, which were fine. This is a nice place to take photos, but don't expect too much of a taste :)

Friendly's on steroids and triple the price. Ordered 2 goblets and the server poured them over the wrong drinks. Did not offer to correct the drinks only bring out more candy for the drink. Meal was decent much similar to friendlys. Ordered fondue for dessert and added pretzels. Not only were there about 6 on the plate they were all stale. Upon receiving the check we realized the drink we sent back was added at the end of the bill as their items are listed in chronological order. Then to boot had manager follow our group outside for him only to leave as our limo pulled up. Major dissappointment.

My Friend had a get together for his Daughter's Birthday there. Had reservations and were seated right on time. Very trendy place, nice atmosphere and a staff that is really into it. The food looked awesome, tasted ok, my soda was flat which stopped me from ordering a second one. They do have an artistry of cocktails, shakes and ice creams. The highlight of the night was this amazing 28 scope ice cream float with fireworks, whipped cream and candy. The presentation was great, the servicing staff nailed it! I think the kids really enjoyed it. So if you have a couple of extra bucks, a special occasions or a sweet tooth.. Go for it!!

The food was cold, burgers were cold inside, bread for the pasta was very hard. The only that tasted decent were the chicken fingers. We ordered our drinks first but got them after appetizers had been eaten. The drinks are good for the first 10 minutes after that everything just freezes on the bottom. The ice cream sundae was presented nice but the ice cream didn't taste any better than a container from the grocery store.

I have no desire to go back to this place. They had false advertising, saying that the entrees were 50% off and didn’t clearly let us know that you HAD to sit outside, when I specifically asked if inside & outside were the same. So we sat inside, mind you we were the only ones inside & had no problem sitting outside, but again they told us it was all the same. LIES! Our bill came back & they didn’t honor the 50% off. It was such BS. I complained to a manager and she took me outside asking me to point out the person that told me it was all the same. Really!? That’s what’s important?! My first visit to the sugar factory was at this location during my spring break. We had come from Atlanta and many of my friends told me this location was great. I visited this location for the 1st time for Sunday brunch. It was busy and loud. (Not complaint just wanted to inform) I am not sure how much the wait for tables were but I opted for the bar. The drinks were amazing! The bartender's service was great. Even with him being busy he still ensured that we got our food and drinks. I ordered the berry waffle. It was ok. The fruit was fresh the size of the waffle could have been a little larger. My boyfriend ordered French Toast. It was very crunchy like regular toast and he was not pleased and he did not eat. The manager made sure we weren't charged for it which was greatly appreciated.

Service was trash, I guess when they automatically add a 20% "service charge" to your bill it doesn't matter if it's good or not because they're getting paid regardless. Ordered non alcoholic drinks and they were still $40 each, told them it was my son's birthday and he didn't even get a "happy birthday". Wasted $130 on 2 drinks and 2 appetizers.

First I would like to Thank the reviewers before me. We read some of the good and bad reviews before we went and honestly that helped us to prepare. Anyways, we enjoyed the Sugar Factory. It was our 1st time there and my children totally loved it! The food is the same as amusement park food quality for the same price as a amusement park but to there credit they do have good salads and they have Salmon and Shrimp on the menu so that was good for me. The Sugar Factory is a kids spot. There "thing" is the fun drinks made and decorated with candy, smoking ice, etc. The drinks are cool. My children managed to get the $32 Goblet out of me and the $20 Milkshake. They shared both! All of the kids there had Goblets or Milkshakes in front of them, most siblings were sharing drinks. We went at lunch time, it was a little crowded but we had reservations so we were good. We did see at least 4 or 5 Happy Birthdays and we love music so for us the music was a plus. I would definitely return to the Sugar Factory and I would recommend it. Just be prepared to spend $$$ on the fun drinks and you will have a sweet time.

This place was pretty cool. I was impressed with the decor as well as my meal. My burger and milkshake were both great! I got a chocolate shake and hubby got some interesting concoction of cotton candy and M&Ms but he liked it! It is a bit pricey here due to location and notoriety. However I like this place and I’ll be back!

My friends & I came to this place on July 6th 2019, first they sat us down where they didn't have air conditioning, then we asked if we can be moved to another table. So they moved us upstairs sat us down we waited about 15min or so for our server to come and greet us. The menu’s were all sticky we even told the waiter we wanted water and it took like 10 -30 mins to get us water, plus they took two of my friends order wrong, plus water was dripping down the ceiling. On top of that the table was broken and our food got to us cold, never again coming to this place Again!!!
