We visited this location after learning about it on the TV show Check Please! and found the food to be just as good as advertised. The options were endless, the food was delicious and the service was quick. We highly recommend the pressed brisket sandwich, half rack ribs and the corn nugget starters.

Laura Leon

Great food and great service in a laid back atmosphere. The portions were large. My wife literally said “how can I be getting this much food”? Truly a gem. Highly recommended to any BBQ food lover.

Ely Delaney

Great atmosphere! The did was a little dry but just a bit for my taste. I tried the chicken. Other stuff may have been fine. The staff was awesome! Very friendly and happy to help. As someone coming in from out of town, I was really impressed.

Zach Low

This little BBQ hideaway was a pleasant find in downtown. The pulled pork and the ribs were both excellently prepared. Neither was dry or under seasoned. The fries are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Seriously, the best fries I've had outside Five Guys. Collards were traditionally flavored with vinegar. Mac n' Cheese was great; the noodles weren't overly soft and the cheese was dense, but light. If you are a fan of spice, I highly recommend asking for their spicy sauces if they are not offered to you. The spicy vinegar sauce is a personal favorite with subtle layering of flavors. Magma was also excellent. Lava was a little too heat flavor and not enough real flavor for my tastes. The milder sauces were all excellent. I recommend pairing the apple cider vinegar sauce with the collard greens. Service was prompt, friendly, and very helpful. Both our servers made some small talk and never let our water glasses be empty. Please be aware water costs 35 cents per person--we did not know this until it came time to pay, but was only a minor blemish on an otherwise great experience! Will be back.

Lindsay Rex

Great hole in the wall restaurant. Greeted me right away, quick on getting my food, and very friendly service.

Ron Clark

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Weird location, but you take what you can get in Miami. Friendly and observant staff. Will be going g again

Terrence Dolan

What an amazing gem! I was wandering the street looking for something good and boy did I find it! Refreshing and different. Kudos on bringing amazing BBQ to downtown Miami.

Kevin Wang

Solid no frills bbq spot

Radym Berlinger Reitman

I enjoyed a generous portion of pulled pork with 5 different vinegar and bbq sauces... all delicious! The mac & cheese was creamy and the collard greens were tender and flavorful. It was a very enjoyable meal, but the best part was dessert! Homemade banana pudding with whipped cream and a pig shaped freshly baked pecan sandy cookie was to die for! I would go back just for the pudding, but am excited to try more of their dishes!

Adriana Palacios

I come here at least once every 2 weeks, if not every week, since I work around the corner. Their food has never disappointed once. Always delicious! Best bbq I've been to so far. Owner is super nice, servers are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for bbq. Get the sweet potato mash!

Tim Exner

Had a craving for some brisket but decided to have the sausage sandwich instead. WOW. the fries that came with it were devoured in a minute and the sandwich rocked my appetite. Staff are friendly and fun too.

rodger pierce

It's GREAT!! Loved it.

kailee woodson

Great beer, great food, great service.

Horace Blair

The absolute best BBQ in the area. Be mindful of the crowd and your surroundings. I have been here with my family, food is very good. Staff is very understanding and they also maintain the cleanliness of the area efficiently

Tiffany Chapman

Yummy. Such nice staff

David Del Terzo

If you like good BBQ with good beer, then here you go.

OriginalPhila

absolutely ridiculously good food for a great price, highly recommend with family and friends.

Ariel Smith

Had hairy in my hush puppies

Ting Ting‘s World

Delicious pulled meat sandwiches! We ordered from uber eats and we really enjoyed our meal which came with fries and coleslaw. Yum!

Phillip Lopez

Not a big fan of this place. Too pricey and not worth it.

Kim Hartley

Randomly stumbled across this little gem whilst on our flying visit to Miami! Great vibe and quick efficient service and the food.....amazing, from the brisket to the ribs to the crawfish, even the fried pickles were out of this world. Best barbecue joint we have been too! 100% recommend to anyone who loves their meat!

Gabby Brown

This place is pretty good. My boyfriend and I live in a big barbecue state and while on vacation stopped by this place. The barbecue has a great texture and the staff is really friendly. The owner is also nice and told us about other cool places in the area...the only thing that would put them over the edge is bring in some Carolina style bbq sauce lol.

Karen Garner

This is probably my favorite korean restaurant. I usually order food to go on my way to visit my mom and always get galbi and one other dish. Food is consistently great and everyone who works there are very friendly. Thanks!!!

Ann Mullen

This is the BEST barbeque EVER! Everthing is soo incredibly tasty, it really needs no sauce. Also try the banana pudding...it is off the chain good. Everytime we go down to Miami, we have to go by Sparky's.

Patricia Capitan

All day erry day!! Great homemade desserts amazing sandwiches, good beer options.

Katy Savannah

I loved the collard greens and tea. The barbeque was very different then NC barbeque, so if you are used to a certain type of BBQ you may end up surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stopped here on Thursday July 25 for dinner. Cute décor, menu looks good and there are many interesting beers on tap and bottles. Our waiter was very quick to the table and super friendly and polite. We ordered the fried pickles, half rack of ribs, with mac and cheese and cornbread pudding as my sides. My partner ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich. After about 20 minutes, other the tables near us had ordered as well, two of them requesting fried pickles. Both tables were told they we out of fried pickles. I thought how lucky I was to have gotten the last order. Never got the pickles or an explanation. At the 35 minute mark other tables had food [likely apps, I did not notice]. Our ribs and sandwich showed up shortly after, but still no mention of the pickles. I brushed it off as we had already waited quite a while and we were in a bit of a hurry. My ribs were hot. The bones were hot too. Like almost too hot to touch. When they finally did cool off, they were grey and a bit tough and rubbery. I have no doubt the ribs had been smoked at some point, but whatever method they used to reheat them was less than ideal. The sauces were OK. None of them did much to mask the texture and not great flavor of the ribs. The sides were not much better – the mac and cheese was too floury and basically a gloopy mess. The cornbread pudding tasted like it had burned at some point. My friend’s Pulled Pork was OK. His beans and coleslaw were good. We were in a hurry so I asked for the check and –shock – the pickles were on the bill. After pointing it out, the waiter removed the charge for the pickles they were out of that he never told me about. He offered me a free desert for waiting so long. I declined. Décor and beer 5, Service 3, Food 1.

Cory Cooper

bbq, mmm, super tasty. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. The service was very kind and attentive. It has a good atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.

Henning Köhler

Amazing food. Great beers

Alex Duran

Great place just try to avoid lunch rush gets very crowded

Alex F. Lazo

Just wow. Haven't been to other ribs places in Miami, but I have been to other places in the world and this restaurant is up there. The place is amazing. Really friendly. The menu is varied and delicious. I ordered the guava habanero ribs. Totally recommend those. And get a side of beans! Best side I've had for a long time!

Vicky R

Loved the brisket and Mac & cheese. Will definitely be back in my next trip to Miami.

Yvonne Kinston

The food was truly great! The staff was professional and friendly.

Skyler Vargas

Would certainly recommend eating here. Great vibes, flavorful dishes, excellent service. Great work.

Larson Productions

UPDATE: Brisket was dry, pulled pork soggy. Ribs OK buta bit tough, vinegar sauce was good. The crawfish roll was OK. The Chicken sandwich had some interesting flavor served on a DIFFERENT TYPE OF ROLL. The collard greens were the best part of the meal. Staff was attentive but this did not Make up for the lack of good BBQ. After receiving a questionable reply from the owner due to our review, we will definitely not return.

Randall Howe

It was ok could have been better

Kari P

Eh it was ok. Edit* the flavor of the smoke was barely present. Didn't even smell anything being smoked...not even sure this was actually fire smoked food. The Mac n cheese tasted like glorified Kraft with some bread crumbs on top. The prices were a little high. The BBQ sauce offered on the table was good.

alexxinc1

Good BBQ ....in Miami!

vinnie greco

I live right around the block and my roommate and I were looking for a quick bite to eat and we came across this Gem... Amazing Brisket, great service and the Cajun fries were BOMBBBBBB. They gave us a side of BBQ sauce and I NEED to know what kind of sauce they're using because it was the most flavorfull BBQ sauce I've ever had. I will be back soon, might become a regular.

Marco Gomez

I love this place for lunch while in downtown Miami. They have an amazing beer selection both draft and cans/bottle. The servers are extremely friendly and keep you cups full at all times. The food.... Delicious. The service is fast and delicious. Give them a try when in downtown Miami.

Alejandro Piccone

Spotted this place before a Heat game last year and had a blast. Awesome BBQ and great local craft beer. This year I decided to return during a work trip. I was a bit disappointed with the BBQ this time. The pulled pork was so dry that I had to get a ninja to kick me in the throat (aka: add loads of sauce). They had no fried so had to get tater tots instead. Craft beer is still awesome and with a good section and the service is super friendly. Despite the pulled pork experience, I’d go back.

Betty Callander

Delicious food. Waiter ir waitress was not too attentive!

Juan Sanchez

I ordered the brisket platter with Mac and cheese and corn. The Brisket was served au jus style, which is not like how I expected, and it was lacking in flavor. I was expecting the Texas-BBQ variety, with the succulent crust which yields tasty burnt ends - so please order something else if you enjoy real brisket. The Mac and cheese was a 3 out of 5 and the corn a 2 out of 5 (no butter, very low sodium)

Walter van Dusen

We found Sparky’s by a google search for near by restaurants. The atmosphere was very cool and staff very friendly. The bbq was different than what I’m used (St Louis style) to but very good. I had the baby back ribs and brisket with fries and baked beans. The brisket was in a sauce and very tender. The ribs had a nice rub and tender. My wife enjoyed her veggie burger and fries. I ended my experience with the key lime pie. If you are in the mood for good bbq, I suggest Sparky’s.

James Byrne

Best burrito I've ever had! Cool place definitely worth checking out!

edward minaya

Great spot inside of downtown, cold beers and great food. I loved it.

Jisel Izquierdo

Delicious!!! I super recommend The chopped chicken with sautéed onions sandwich. I loved it!! Plus the french fries are

Beast from the East

Wasn’t very good. Chicken was dry and beef brisket looked more like a stir fry. They charged for tap water and didn’t even have ice. Food was over priced for what it is but the service was nice.

Rodrigo Gaya

Best BBQ in Miami. Get the Tyler's Sandwich with fries! Great beer selection

Carlos Jara Perez

Great selection of draft beers and the food is great, I had the brisket sandwich and really enjoyed it

Peter M

Don’t walk here, RUN!! Hole in the wall place full of character. Really does feel like an actual roadside barbecue. Relaxed laid back setting and top notch staff. They have a great brew selection and lots of craft beer. Furthermore, the food is crazy delicious. I highly recommend the Tyler sandwich, pulled pork as good as it gets. Don’t forget to try their special barbecue sauce!

Lisa Bradley

Very friendly, comfortable environment, and excellent atmosphere. The employees that work here are very friendly and do their very best to keep you informed of the wait time. I recommend this place highly!

Maximiliano Rossi

The food is very good

ASLI AKTURE

Just love it... excellent service and foods. I will come back for sure ... Thank you

Keiler Fulton

Team gave great recommendations, I can't remember everyone's name unfortunately but the food was awesome and the hot sauce was worth the tears and suffering

Jocelyn Fulton

First time visiting Sparky's. I like the vibe and friendly staff, but the space is very cramped. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and macaroni and cheese. The sandwich was tasty, but didn't taste like barbeque. I put lots of their yummy sauce on it and it just didn't have that smoke house flavor I'm used to. The fries had a nice seasoning on them and since they were thin cut they were crispy and good. Best thing on the plate. I'm a huge macaroni and cheese fan, so I was absolutely disappointed in theirs. It was tasteless! And the fact they charged us a dollar extra for it (combo comes with cold slaw, which I don't eat at all, so there's an upcharge to swap sides) made it worse. It was so bad I couldn't force myself to eat it, no matter how much it cost.

Philip Riddlestone

Best ribs I have ever had.

DarthWhisky117

Wow what a surprise. Went there since it had good reviews. Food was awesome, beer selection is good, staff was super friendly, would totally recommend going here.

Leta Lopez

Great service and food. All tasted homemade. Nice variety of bbq sauces enhanced what we had. Steady flow of locals so good value too.

Luke Boyle

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Excellent mood, fresh dishes, fantastic service. I recommend this place.

Pedro Bonnin

Hoisin BBQ sauce Is my fave BBQ ever

Florian Weyand

Food and drinks were ok, bbq was delicious, presentation is fast-food style, staff was quite nice

Michael Rosengaus

Don’t go when they are busy! This was my second time coming here. The first time we were the only people in the place and the meal was decent, so we decided to give it another try. We were sat immediately, which was great considering we were a party of eight. Our orders were taken quickly and then we waited, and waited, and waited. The table behind ours got tired and left without getting their food. There was a line of Uber Eats drivers just standing around being told to please wait. After 45 minutes we asked the waitress about our order. We were apologized to, told we were the next ones out, but still waited another 15 minutes. Only five of the eight meals came out, and one of those was something none of us ordered so we sent it back. Half of the table began to watch as the other half ate. They apologized again saying they aren’t normally so busy. Two of the dishes were cold, but we were afraid to send it back never to be seen again. A third had the wrong side dish, even though they up-charged to switch it out during the order. I asked at least four times for the proper side (baked beans – you just have to scoop them into a bowl as they’re already made) but I didn’t get them until after I finished my meal. Three more meals came out after the four of us were done eating, so we changed those “to go” because we were already running late. It had been 90 minutes and four apologies at this point. I ask for the bill and the manager. I’m told that the manager is in the back cooking and that he can’t come speak with me. I get the bill and there are nine meals on it. The one we did not order (and sent back) and the one that never came! After complaining they apologized (again) and removed those from the bill but you would figure they’d at least give a small discount for the bad experience. Not only didn’t they, but they charged us for tap water which was lukewarm and with no ice. It’s sad because the food itself is good (when warm) but the experience kills it.

Shawn Adkins

Pretty good food but a bit pricey. But i guess it is Miami.

Bernard Williams

Some of the worst barbecue I have ever had. The food was not only bad, but it was also cold. The restaurant is way overpriced for what it is, and if I could give zero Stars I would. The only positive part of the experience, was that the staff was friendly.

Jay Logan

A top site for delicious bbq. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

stephen sweeting

Great food fair price

Rodney Toombs

Ribs was dry, bake beans taste like it so the last at the bottom of the pan mix with chill.and chicken breast look like a little meat ball.

Raena Ellerbe

Appetizers on point! Delicious wings

Hugo Palomares

This is one of the few gems of downtown Miami. The reason? Great food and a wide selection of beer. The place gets really crowded specially during lunch hours and Fridays, which can make the wait longer, but I definitely a tasty option for meat lovers. And if you bring a vegan friend they have salads too. Everyone wins here :)

Stephanie Alvarez

Amazing bbq! Hidden Gem in dwntn miami

Patrik Novotný

Great food and great service in a laid back atmosphere.

Frances Nelson

bbq and service at this spot is very good. I like it here, excellent food & service. Staff treated us so kindly.

deanna cook

Excellent barbeque in the heart of Downtown.

Chris Banza

After hearing good things from my friends about this place, I have to say it was a bit overhyped. I had the brisket sandwich. It was just okay. My friend had the chicken. I'm accustomed to BBQ joints being stand alone buildings. This place was in a city building. It was also very cramped. Food was good. Solid place, but need more room!

Jaclyn Renee

Great little place. Was not expecting much when walking over to it in this business district. Pleasantly surprised with some yummy bbq. His dry rub ribs were a bit better than my wet tinier ones, but the brisket was great! We got th blast corn bread and I dont think they have another corn alternative - might be wrong.

Cristian Acosta

Fine spot for bbq. Good place to catch up with friends. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. Bring your hunger - portions are large.

Mark G

The best in Miami truly

James P. Jackson Jr.

Literally one of the best barbecue joints in South Florida. My family’s from the Deep South and I’m looking for the real deal. This place is it. And the customer service is great. Everyone’s friendly. Just be mindful of the parking. It’s in the heart of downtown. There is a metro mover stop that lands you right in front of the restaurant. Take in the sites and grab some good eats! And yes, they have vegetarian options!

J R

The service is great, the sauces are great, the barbecue... not so good. I ordered the smoked wings and a rib/brisket/pulled pork combo. The wings were tasty, but very rubbery. The ribs also had the same chewy, rubbery consistency. The brisket was tender, but tasted more like a roast than a smoke. The pulled pork was good and very tender. The fries were a little thin for me, but the seasoning was nice. The mac and cheese tasted fine, but was really mushy. I did love almost every sauce they offered. All homemade and really flavorful. They even make their blue cheese dressing in-house. I just wish the meats were better... The food doesn’t justify their high prices. I can’t afford to give these guys a second chance.

Mark L.

Good BBQ, attentive service, though strangely rarely crowded the 3 times I've been.

Amber Beam

I really enjoyed it as the food was awesome and I loved the vibe. The cheese steak sandwich with mac on cheese and fries were delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is great. And if you are looking for a cool spot this is the place.

Maxton Banks

I really love their dishes. I always get awesome service here. The place is well kept and the workers are always helpful. Would recommend to others.

Chris Lloyd

Very good food! Quaint spot with a nice atmosphere. When my husband and I travel, we always eat at different spots (no chain restaurants) and love when we find little gems like this. We will return!!

Claude E. Lett IV

Great place, food is thoughtfully done, great genuine nice staff

Daniel Nicolas

Amazing service! I was surprised at how the staff handled such a large party! Food was out in good timing and tasted great! Ambiance makes you feel that your at a backyard bar-b-q. Great selection of entrees, beers and desserts. Recommend the collard greens and sweet mashed as sides.

OMAR SHINEZ

I must say, this is the best BBQ spot in Downtown Miami. Food is always so good. I just wish they sold beef ribs instead of only pork ribs.

Shawn Browning

Great BBQ and super friendly staff! Got the ribs with sides. There’s a wide selection of different sauces, and plenty of ribs to try each one. Place had a good vibe and was a fun little hangout for lunch. Remember to save room for desert!!!

T G

Good BBQ and craft beer downtown! Love it!

Robert Bole

A really nice place with a great staff and solid food. It is Miami BBQ, but that does not mean it isn't delicious. Would def come back here next time I am in Miami. Good mash potatoes!

Tom NYC

Casual bbq spot with service above and beyond expectations. Awesome beer selection both on draft and bottle. Server knew everybeer, very impressive. deserts: just get the banana pudding and thank me later. Chicken tenders are fantastic. Biggest suprise was the salad was actually really nice. As far as the bbq goes I would opt for one the the sandwiches. The 3 meats is decent but go the sandwich route.

Rahkeem Blanks

The staff was very welcoming. The baked beans were dry and a little too sweet, the Mac n cheese was great, the cornbread was great ( I would not recommend getting the cornbread with the baked beans as they were both sweet), the beef brisket seemed more like thinly sliced lunch meat and was bland. . the food came out within 5 minutes as well which was very odd...

Joseph Bowden

It’s good but not that good. I am trying to compare to Frankie’s in Austen so that might be the problem.... nothing is as good as that.

Christopher Klansky

Don't go here expecting BBQ. No smoke in the meats at all. The brisket almost seems boiled in texture, not smoked. The pork was dry and stringy. The apple cider sauce was over powered by apple cider, I couldnt taste any other flavors in the sauce. After response from owner: Why don't you take criticism into consideration instead of arguing with every negative review? It seems like you'd rather argue than learn and grow. I could have tried other sauces; after my experience with that one, I didn't care to. Yes pulled pork is some what stringy but this was tough and inedible.

Pete W.Dodgie

So delish! Great beer selection too.

Violet Gabriella

I love everything about this place!!! From the food to the ambiance and service. Not to mention the IPA's

Chris Lowry

I don’t know what was the last guy in the review was talking about the chicken was great and no hard it was fresh this place is the bomb I will come back when I come to downtown again love sparkys

Derek Reynolds

Best BBQ I've ever had. Give the 3 combo a try!

Sebastian Ojeda

No words.....I highly recommend this location to any meat lover.

Ian Mercel

i’ve been going here forever and they just can’t do wrong. always a great selection of beer and of course the food is legit af. be sure to try their hot sauces.

Tyler Scott

If you're hungry in downtown Miami, this is the only place to be. Incredible & large original menu, I'm a fan of the pressed sandwiches. Nearly a dozen homemade sauces, all unique & satisfying takes on barbecue and hot sauces (Hoisin Barbecue is stellar). Homemade desserts as well — the banana pudding made me shed a tear. Service is friendly and personable as well. All around a stellar place to eat, especially considering how awful and/or overpriced everything else nearby is.

Bill Velez

Get the side of homemade bacon, amazing. No frills place and I can't forgive a barbecue place that runs out of Brisket.

quovadis daniels

Excellent food and friendly staff!! We will ne back

candice price

Great atmosphere and service food needs some work...not a go to for real BBQ...stay away from the black eyed peas

André Miranda

Very good food and service! Huge beer selection. Love this place

Jamall Savannah

I came here on my Anniversary trip with Katy Savannah. The BBQ was horrendous! We didn't come to Miami to have NC BBQ. We went to a BBQ restaurant to eat descent BBQ. Not to eat some experiment by the owners that doesn't even qualify as edible BBQ. The fries were also as hard as sticks. The only good thing about this place was the service. If you are hungry and go to this place you definitely won't leave hungry because one bite of their BBQ and you will lose all appetite for half a day!

Cynthia Gonzalez

Cool place. But not the greatest bbq as people claim. Ribs okay but the combo platter was just bad. They were serving food from maybe a two or 3 days prior. Very dry chicken. The brisket looked like old halal meat. It’s never a good sign when you get your order less than 5 minutes after you order. They have to step up their game if they want to be considered good bbq.

Meredith Moree

Great chicken, okay sides , big portions and good brisket with friendly service make this a spot worth stopping for.

Cristina Figueroa

Great happy our place!!

Mario Medina

Awesome food. Excellent customer service.

Kamal Khalil

Average prices for Sandwiches, A little bit expensive steak relative to quantity and other restaurants and average taste as well

Lady Cyanide

Everything was delicious. We had the catfish fingers the side of bacon the pulled pork and the brisket. the brisket was sliced extremely thin as if it was going on a sandwich rather than in a larger chunk as if to be eaten on its own. Their hoisin BBQ sauce was incredibly delicious. Also they had a really great beer selection.

Rachel MacLeod

Really loved and highly recommend the chopped salad. Super friendly staff & good beer selection... Mac and cheese not up to par with the rest of the place, needs more flavor

Jamin Gladen

Great BBQ. Didn't seem exactly a single single dollar sign for pricing, but the flavors and fresh limes in the from-scratch pie were great and well worth it.

Torrence Riddick

The beef brisket was very good along with there barbecue sauce.

Marjie Joseph

I've had better bbq. They really need to have better sauces than what they offer and the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food. Side dishes are wayyy over priced! I had the cornbread and it was hard as a rock Service was great though.

Rene Cinq-Mars

Went on web site 2 days ago reviewed the menu, but when I came in 2 days later everything was significantly more money than posted on web site, so my dinner and fried pickles cost me around $10.00 more than expected, classic bait and switch, iced tea was so watered down could not taste any tea whatsoever. No brisket on a Wednesday. Food was just OK

Michael Stone

BBQ was delicious. Brisket and ribs. Nice selection of beer. Housemade sauces to compliment meat.

Mama Lidia

Once you walk in, the ambiance is completely different, with pigs and ornaments throughout the restaurant. You are not getting the regular casual dining experience. They have an assortment of barbecue sauces placed at each table. Once the food arrived, the fries came in fresh and seasoned, the ribs were falling off the bones, the pulled pork was delicious, but the chicken was not as flavorful as I had hoped.

Alex Villalpando

Great BBQ in a place that shouldn't have great BBQ. We were road Tripping 5000 miles through the US and our airbnb host told us to try this place out and my god was it worth the trip to Miami.

Jacob Jenkins

Awesome little joint. Just stumbled on it during a short trip to MIA. Great brisket, perfectly crispy fries, and tangy slaw. And the beer list is nothing to sniff at either! Highly recommend.

Peter Farrell

Pretty good BBQ. Reasonable prices.

Alex V

This place I have visited twice. Very good for a downtown location. Miami is not well known for their bbq. But this place is good. I had the 2 meat platter with Mac & cheese and fries. Wow. I also had the BBQ pork sandwich with tater tots. Great place.

Ertugrul Kaya

We’re here on a recommendation. Totally worth it. Nice staff. Delicious brisket sandwiches.

Caprice Brown

A bit pricey but delicious!! We had the grilled corn with aioli sauce as an appetizer and the brisket/chicken plate with fries and mac n cheese. I wasnt a fan of the mac n cheese but everything else was great, service included.

Will Schaub

It used to be the case that for good barbecue in Miami you went to Shorty's. Sparky's has earned the right to be up there with Miami's barbecue legend, and if you don't believe me go and try the food for yourself. The atmosphere is very laid back, and despite the small location the restaurant never feels cramped. The beer selection is incredible and it's great to see a local restaurant with local brews throughout the menu. Try the boneless chicken thighs, guava-habanero ribs, and beef brisket (at least) to get well-rounded taste of Sparky's offerings. If after all of these you're not satisfied then barbecue is not for you. Oh, and the fried pickles. I'd invade Russia in the winter for more of those fried pickles.

Macy’s Philadelphia

This is one of my favorite kosher meat restaurants in the area. The environment is relaxed, the food is consistently good, and the service is great. After trying a few different restaurants in an attempt to try something new, I found that I prefer Mozart for a laid back relaxed dinner with friends or family. I've had quite a few dishes and enjoyed them all equally. The side of green beans is absolutely delicious (if you like garlic), the steaks are great and cooked just the way you ask for it. The last time I was here, there were no available tables outside but they told us they would move us outside the minute a table became available which they did. It was super accommodating and I truly appreciated it. It's really nice having this place just a hop, skip, and jump from my house.

E Cifuentes

Unlike many great reviews on this restaurant - mine is far opposite. Went for lunch with a colleague, arrived at 1:30 and no one acknowledged we were at the door until a larger group of 5 walked in. We were seated in the smallest and only available corner in the entire place only to be ignored practically our entire visit. After about 10 minutes we met our waiter and received our drinks fairly quickly and had our order taken. A large group of 6 arrived at this time and were seated immediately. We ended up leaving 45 minutes later and never got to try our food. at this time the larger group of 6 was almost finished with their meals. When i walked over (after finally finding my waiter) and asked how much it would be for 2 sodas he asked why? I explained the above situation and he didn't even attempt to check on our food or ask if we would like to take it To-Go. Overall - horrible experience. Food i have heard is amazing but we will never find out now as this visit has eliminated this facility from our lunch options.

Glenn Worth

Great food and great beer. And great service. Did I mention great food?

alp eke

Great Brisket Great BBQ joint. Casual

Kay M

My husband really likes the beers here and I had some killer ribs. It was a wait for lunch but worth it!

Alex Marks

Some of the best food we have ever had. Catfish and corn were stellar According to my boyfriend. Brownies thick and moist. Service quick and friendly. Plenty of tables at 1pm

Theo Gauthier

Best cornbread I've ever had. Best coleslaw I've ever had. Best hush puppies I've ever had. Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Best key lime pie I've ever had. So yeah...it was a good night.

Dan Naveh

Sorry, but food was mediocre at its best.. Chicken wings full of so-so sauce. Beef brisket tasteless.

Amie Terry

Was difficult to find but bbq was ok. Sauce no good.

Walter Chumbez

Not a fancy place but ... who came here for anything else but to eat!!? Delicious food and beer...! Thanks guys

Kwan Lowe

Bland jerk wings, slow service with missed orders, and way overpriced ( 4$ for about an ounce of potatoes). The staff was friendly enough but that can't make up for the bland food and surcharges for every item.

Samuel Colina

Food is decent but they charge you for water and the batbeque sauces are unimpressive

Shamar Needham

What an awesome experience. From the moment we walked in the door we couldn't help but feel like we were having dinner at a friend's house. The staff, Val, Andres, Pam and chef Cedric were nothing short of amazing. The food was simply out of this world. Each part of the dish unto itself was delicious, however the marriage of flavors between the entree and sides, the appetizer and it's sauces was absolutely magical. And the banana pudding!! Mouthfuls of heaven!! This place is a diamond in the rough. Don't miss out on your next trip to Miami.

John Halbasch

Great bbq, wonderful smoked meats, we had the baby back ribs, brisket and pulled pork all excellent. The staff was great and very pleasant.

Marcello O

Amazing beer selection and very cool ambiance. I ate a delicious brisket sandwich with a freezing cold beer. reasonable prices for Miami also. Wouldn’t change a thing!! 5 stars!

Mannuel Aguirre

The BBQ is incredible I had them do Thanksgiving and it was the Best. Thank you Kevin for everything.

Joshuwa Mack

Bad service no straws and the barbecue does not taste good it tastes like it was in the Oven, I had the ribs and damn near broke a Bracket it was soo tough.

Leon Taylor

Very good food. It’s not a diner atmosphere, if you looking for that type of quality then you wouldn’t like it. It’s kinda like a little hole in the wall sit and eat spot. Good food, good service, and reasonable prices. They ran outta fries when I was there but they were very accommodating and took care to get me something better for the same price. I’ll be back for sure.

Martha Padreda

Great place for lunch in Downtown Miami. Best pulled pork sandwich in the area.

Stephen Gross

Best barbecue in Miami. Try the banana pudding. Good beer selection

Tom T

Great food fast service. You can walk right past the place and not notice it but its worth noticing.

Johan Granholm

Wow, fantastic bbq place. Food was so good. Definitely worth going to this restaurant alone. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knows everything about their menu. Portions are quite large so listen to staffs recommendation of how much to order. Good variaty of beer.

Norbert

Chicken thighs were tough and dry. How do you dry out chicken thighs? Cole slaw was good, black eyed peas okay. I wouldn't go back. Miami barbecue, nothing special.

ANA BRZICA

I went there with a few coworkers. As a vegan, I was more than pleasantly surprised that they actually had a vegan meal on the menu. My coworkers love their BBQ.

auguste malonga

I ordered barbecue chicken thighs, not well cooked, rubber skin, not taste. My friend got blackened, super salted fish, couldn't eat it. DON'T GO THERE.

Mayra Ruiz

This place is horrible! Food cold taste so greasy

Cee Dee

Beef Brisket was a big and rich as the price, in a good way. Simple, bar atmosphere and decent service. Would go back 9/10 (need moar napkins!)

Robert Chancer

First - great beer selection - beer 12 on tap and a wide variety of bottled. The brisket cheese steak sandwich with peppers was excellent. I am a collared greens fan and they don't disappoint. The pecan pie was excellent. It doesn't hurt that the server was really nice.

Adriano Campos

Nice place for a casual lunch. It gets busy on weekdays around 12:30h. Try the brisket and the cornbread.

Megan Mendiola

Pretty good, baby back ribs were a little tough. The sides were small. The pecan pie was delicious and the banana pudding was very good. A bit pricey $144. for 4 people, probably won’t go back.

Rodrig Tvara

Cool staff. Had great music playing the whole time. Food came out quick. Highlight is definitely that brisket sandwich and their BBQ sauce. Well worth the stop.
