We found the place looking on google. First the food comes very fast. We ordered some ribs and some chickens and they came in no more than 3 minute, half cold. We asked ro switch some sides because it was possible and only some of them arrived as we asked. Therefore they are not cook on order but maybe just a bit heated up. As soon as we finished the waiter brought us the check without asking while we would like to have a dessert. We felt like pushed out from the restaurant. Very bad service

Server didn't introduce themselves or asked how things were just jumped to asking what we would like to drink. Food was good... got the pulled pork which was fine... filling meal. We got a coupon at the visitors center for it plus one side and a drink for $ 6.99. My drink was refilled but my partners wasn't. They got our bill to us really quickly so felt like we had to go.

Yuck! Granted we got there around 7:30 I was not happy with the food. I got the 3 meat plate. Chicken, ribs, and brisket. 1st. The brisket was over done. Burnt ends are one thing but this was so dried out. 2nd. Ribs not reading the menu correctly, they serve St. Louis which have way to many bones. 3rd, the famous chicken. OMG! It was awful. Talk about dried out and left in the smoker too long. My sides were okay. Mac n cheese had next to no flavor the corn on the cob was good at least it was moist. Even my corn bread was tough. I don't get the big hype.

We just stopped on our way through town. Our server, Justin, steered us in the right direction with their Tuesday unlimited ribs. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The service was excellent. I’m already looking forward to stopping again on our way back.

I had a great time at this restaurant. Hey were extremely friendly, had the newest technology when taking payments and this is definitely a place you can take the family. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the chicken we ordered had so much water coming out of it but the egg rolls are nice and crispy with the perfect amount of food.

All white waitresses and waiters stood around giving us that look about five of them, a white family next to us was checked on four times by a white waitress and never acknowledged us with very little customers around. so we felt like we were in the wrong place..ended up at Shivers.... This one in Florida City really didn't have their act together. We ordered from the drive through. They said they could barely hear the order which may be why we got the wrong sandwich. My sandwich was supposed to be a regular Sonny's pulled pork on garlic toast. I'm not sure what I got but it had Cajun sausage on it with pulled pork and sliced pork (I think) and no sauce at all. Isn't the BBQ sauce the whole reason you go to Sonny's? The French fries were very greasy. That being said, the sausage was good but the pork was dry. I took the sausage off the sandwich and ate it separately. Honestly, I would think twice before ordering from here again.

Saw a billboard, checked Google reviews and decided to stop. Got the unlimited dry rub ribs which were AMAZING!! HANDS DOWN the best restaurant ribs I've had. Salad bar was $3 to add, which if you made a good salad, and like chopped vegetables it was a good deal. Service was excellent. Tables were clean, food came quick. Really enjoyed this!!

Dining at Sonny's is a consistently good experience. Excellent food, fantastic staff, and a comfortably casual setting. The Tuesday lunch special is all you can eat ribs. I like the dry rub ribs, but for those who may not know which style they like best - dry rub, or with sweet and smokey sauce - they can start with one, and switch to the other. The ribs are meaty, and cooked to perfection. Pork is available sliced, pulled, or as baby back or spare ribs. Smoked\bbq chicken and turkey are also available, the salad bar can be added to any meat item, and meat can be added to the salad bar. In a hurry? Sonny's offers take out, and has a drive through service window for pick up. Try Sonny's once, and you'll be back again, and again!

Love Sonny's BBQ! The best finger licking baby back ribs ever! The Redneck egg rolls are delicious, there's a salad bar and regular bar for all your happy hour cravings and of course the full menu. What a fantastic place! We had the pulled pork in garlic bread sandwich with fries and green beans as sides. Daughter ate mac n cheese with fries. All dishes were delicious. The food arrived so quickly and the server delivered a refill when my drink was only half full. I can't recommend this place enough

Fab BBQ place with top pit masters at it core. The baby back ribs I had were gorgeous, tender, melt in the mouth. I enjoyed the refil sweet tea which was the perfect drink for me. Hubby had the louisiana sweet and spicy ribs, cooler than mine when served, very delicious and tender meat though. The kids had a good time and said they enjoyed their food too, as well as the menu entertainment. Really enjoyed ourselves, waiters were attentive but not constantly there which is a good balance. The only downside for me was eating off a plastic plate.

For a chain Consistently ok BBQ. It's good to a quick casual sit down after fishing ... The service was friendly and the place was clean. They have a drive thru and even boat parking in the back. After a long day on the water it's on the way home and when you are tired the food taste that much more satisfying. I would go back just for the good service and convenient factor. FYI I did notice they no longer have bacon bits at the salad bar which was a bummer.

We were staying in the area.We went there two nights in a row. The food was awesome, and reasonably priced . My husband smokes meat and fish weekly. This was the best we have had.in several states. Mary was a fantastic bartender, greeter, and server. So friendly to customers and staff.

Stopped in after an afternoon at the Florida Everglades on our drive back to Key Largo. The service was fast and friendly. Waiter kept our water and lemonade refilled as we were parched from a day in the sun. I had ribs and wings and they were both delicious. My daughter had pulled chicken and said it was great too. I have my own smoker and do BBQ at home so I am pretty picky but this place passed muster. I really enjoyed it.

I would’ve loved to had given this place a rather five because the food was tasty, the place is very clean, and the prices are reasonable. Now, the owner or manager to this place should know better than having a extreme right wing politics channel on. Neither do I like CNN. I just think that race, politics, religion, etc should be out of the contexts of business. Add to this that my server at the bar was obviously nicer to the white crew. Not a very smart idea where located in such a geographically diverse area !

it's a very successful restaurant, but need to put attention to the little details that make it looks bad...you can enjoy not just an excellent American Grill cuisine , but the juiciest freshest ribs in the area, by food flavors and plate presentation it deserves 5 stars, but the lost 4 stars in my humble review, is because the way of doing business...the "all you can" it is a nightmare service; first , the waitress serve you five ribs rack, then you expect nothing but nonstop ribs service, however you have to ask for more ribs, they service you two ribs portion, once you consume it, then you have to ask again for more, they service you 2-3 ribs portion again and so on, in addition you will be over watched by the waitress to prevent costumer sharing plates, even when we ordered different plates...really ? we was told that is the manager instructions; otherwise nice personal...the restaurant looks impeccable with very clean floor, the bathroom looks clean and odorous; again very good food, and very tasty recipes; place very well organized; ribs and meats are in the top of the menu, also there is plenty of fresh veggies that you can enjoy and mix; great plates variety; great drinks variety in the bar...so HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED, except if they could fix "all you can eat" service

After they finished the renovations of the restaurant, the quality of the food went up ten-fold. Not only has their pulled pork been a favourite of mine, paired with their sweet and hot sauces, but the ribs are a delightful treat since the overhaul. Management is kind, accommodating, and they acquire staff members that make you feel right at home in the restaurant. It can get pretty busy, with long wait times, on those weekend or near-holiday nights, but it is always worth the wait. Pricing is what you would expect, and the all-you-can-eat is the way to go when hungry, due to the refills on sides, meat, and drinks. The salad bar is decent, but nothing too extravagant, although we know that you're most likely there for the delectable, tender meat for which they are known. If you go through the drive-thru, you can expect to wait a little bit, especially on the busier nights, but the dine-in experience is always what I would recommend. If you are wanting to try something new, the redneck sushi is very interesting, and is a nice appetizer to start off a meal.
