I got my food in a quick amount of time. But the servers are very inaccurate with English and they talk right in front of me in Spanish and laughing while I have a concern about the restaurant and after I got my food 20 minutes later drinks were dry and I wanted hat sauce and nobody came to me. Very disrespectful. I will never go back

Nice Mexican restaurant in the Winter springs area. I usually order the Mexican fajitas and they are delicious with the meats and the vegetables cooked perfectly. The margaritas here are delicious and not too expensive. The service is great and the location is very comfortable although the parking can get crowded.

Margaritas great! Food...not so great! We took a party of 20 last night! My husband ordered the steak/chicken, was told it was grilled to order, he said rare...it came back charcoal burned black. It was SO dry we could barely swallow it! Told the server, she came back and said it HAD to be cooked that much because of the chicken! He SHOULD have been told that in the beginning, why ask how you'd like it cooked? It was not too busy on their 3.99 margarita night and now I can see why! Customer service should be priority today with so many choices! The server was great! It wasn't her fault. Manager should have come by.

This is a solid Mexican restaurant. As expected, they have a great selection of tex-mexican food and a great selection of craft tequilas. The margaritas are quite generous in size, and tasty. There are some authentic Mexican dishes on the menu that are must tries. For example, the mole chicken meal is great. The mole sauce is quite commendable. They also have a volcano rock hot pot, which is large and delectable. The brochetta dish is phenomenal. The service is generally very good, and parking is easy.

Best Mexican food in Winter Springs/ Oviedo area. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable surroundings and busy (6:30 PM) on a Saturday night. Family friendly. We’ll return often.

Went there with a party of 12 after a soccer game. Service was slow. Asked for a Arnold Palmer got lemonade and water some of my teammates waited 10 minutes to get their beers. Don't know if it was that busy inside, or if there was another reason. Waiters and waitresses did apologize, and were also friendly.

It used to be good. Now they charge extra for anything. My wife ordered quesadilla fajita and she asked with mushroom and spinach. They said $2 extra. I ordered my burrito with carnitas, $2.50 extra This review is $5 extra. They did not used to this before, but now not sure I want to go back if I get charged extra for anything.

There were 15 in our party and the bill was very reasonable especially with 5 of the drinks being alcoholic beverages. Angela was a great server,, very attentive and she was super polite.

I went to this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. I sat at a booth. When I was seated, I immediately was served chips and salsa. My fajitas were served sizzling hot. The steak was cooked right. They serve big portions here. The hot sauce they offered me was hot and homemade. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcoming. I will definitely be back!!!

So they start you with the chips and salsa. And their salsa was BOMB you can taste all the fresh ingredients and it had a little kick we also ordered a side of queso and had to order another queso because we couldn't stop eating it. Since it was my 1st time i stayed simple with a chicken chimichanga and YUMMM the chicken was seasoned well ad it was packed. I didn't order rice w/ beans because truthfully speaking i never eat it and the waitress offered me vegetables which i thought was awesome and even the veggies were so good. One friend ordered their Nachos that had steak i believe on top and peppers and queso it just looked so good. I know next time i'm definitely diving in that menu.

Definitely a great environment! I loved the chimichurri sauce. The mixed veggies side dish are probably from a microwavable bag, but other than that the food is fantastic. Also, the drinks are delicious. I had the fresca margarita and my hubs had the sangria. We don't like sweet drinks all that much but both drinks were very good. The sangria is a house blend and tastes great.

I’ve visited many Mexican restaurants and I use this one as the golden standard of quality that I measure others with. The drinks are perfectly strong and delicious at the same time. The food never disappoints, and the service has always been professional at the least. Any time I try another restaurant, especially their guacamole or drinks, I can’t find one better than Señor Tequila. Been here a dozen times and still keep coming back for more. Love it!!!

I hate to do this because their food is so good but damn if we didn’t walk out after waiting 40 minutes for water. Told it was happy hour then it wasn’t, never got our beers. I’m not even sure how many different people came to our table and re relaying our order to which we never received. When we finally got queso that was so cold you couldn’t pierce it. Unfortunately I Will not be recommending this place any more.

I was looking forward to some good carnitas and this place got good reviews. Unfortunately, my wife and I sat there for 10 minutes after being seated without being acknowledged by any of the wait staff. We did get to watch a waitress get the drink order and bring chips and salsa to a family that came in after us. She also bussed a table on either side of us, but walked right passed us without saying a word. I’d like to say they were just busy, but we were one of five tables inside the restaurant. No idea if the food is decent, but I can tell you the service sucks!

Senor Tequila has been consistently great since it opened. Our favorites are the house margarita (2 for 1 during happy hour), Mexican guacamole, burritos rancherous, and fajitas for two. Service is very attentive and prices reasonable.

Not the best not the worst. I really enjoyed the Blue Curacao Jose Cuevo drink- its kind of strong. The queso doesn't taste authentic and I didn't care for the rice- the pork was the best thing on my plate.

Best Mexican resturant around Central Florida. We have visited many Mexican resturants in and around the state and this is by far superior to the rest. Our FAVORITE waiter of all time is Andersson Velez. Not only does he create a great experience for us each time we come, the food is so also authentic and delish. The Molcajete is our fave . Enough to share. And don't get me started on the margaritas. The Skinny with Tres Generaciones Anejo tequilla....the best. Anywhere near Winter Springs...do yourself a favor and come!!!

I just left this place and spoke with the "owner" about hosting my sister's 30th birthday party dinner for next month and I was so disappointed with the response. First off, the lady was inconsistent with her responses. I was told we couldn't have the outside seating because it's reserved for guests who smoke and have dogs. Then after asking about sitting outside she said I would have to put down a deposit. She also said, she can't accommodate 30 people outside when I had just counted almost 40 chairs. She then said if it's a Saturday we have to sit inside. This lady was confusing. I asked about a buffet/catering style option and she said my party is too small for that. Needs to be at least 80 people. She then told me I could call later to speak to the manager Jesus. I'm like "aren't you the owner"? Long story short, this lady was not trying to accomodate me at all. Even though I told her I was willing to pay a deposit and for anything else necessary. I did not feel welcomed and honestly I didn't feel like she wanted me or my party there. They will not get my business and I will continue to search for another location to have my sister's dinner. Horrible customer service!!!

I came here looking for nothing but a spicy margarita and I definitely found it. I'm not a huge fan of mango but the bar keep must have known how spicy I was looking for because I couldn't even think about the mango while my tongue was burning. Trust me, I got exactly what I came in for. So a glass of water or two later I took a look at the menu, and I gotta say, it's like they knew which items you wanted pictures of because they got me to snag some Tacos al Pastor and a Blackberry Mint margarita to top off the burn just based on the pics alone. I'm not even a huge fan of pineapple but they were perfect in those tacos. Plus if your pictures are loaded with cilantro, you'll always sell me. The night would have ended with some flan but I was pretty stuffed from bowls of queso between drinks and one of those drinks was a "tall" beer that might have been just shy of a liter, and I'm pretty sure it was only 8 bucks. All in all, this is within walking distance of my buddy's place so I can guarantee I'll be back and make room for dessert cause I love me a good flan and I have no doubt they make a great one here.

Liked the friendly service and location. The music was a bit too loud. My ice tea lacked flavor, it was more like ice water. The green sauce I got with my flautas tasted to acidic and it was too runny. Loved the chips and salsa. I would rather have a more cream like sauce texture for the sour cream and wacamole. I think the potential is there for improvement.

Their drinks aren't the best... their food is pretty good. There was a hair in my food, but I chose not to say anything and just didn't eat that portion... the busser acted like he was 'snockered', but he was friendly and tried to be humorous by telling me he wasn't informed enough to answer a question. I ordered take out today, one cheese enchilada and one chili relleno. It was sooooo gross, the cheese was not melted, tasted very bland, the enchilada was like rubber. Do your self a favor and go to Don Julio which is amazing and taste like real Mexican food. I would give negative stars.

Came here one time on Fathers Day 2019 & don't think I will return. The services was kind off OK.. We waited a bit more than 5 minutes before seated, keep in mind at 2:30 pm the restaurant was not busy.. I order Fajitas for 2, and I did NOT eat it all , the only thing that was good, was the chicken on the MEAT plate ... There Fajita plate has PORK, that pork was not good not well cook.. Three of us on my party taste it, we all had the same comment on IT

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the food was pretty great, the ambiance inside was decent, but our service was far from great. Our server, Juan E, was barely present. We saw him fraternizing more than he was attending his tables. At one point we had to ask one of his fellow employees to retrieve him so we could get refills(our first, as he hadn't been around) and a menu to get dessert. It was frustrating, we almost asked to change servers from how long it took each time between him coming back to the table. Long story short: great Mexican food, decent ambiance, good music selection, but we had awful service experience.

Quesadillas had no garnishing on the plate. No sour cream, no guacamole, and no flavor. The steak burrito tasted like it was marinated in salt for a week. Other than salt it had as much flavor as a popsicle stick. The atmosphere.... blah. The service.... well first the waiter dropped, yes literally dropped some chips and salsa on the table and left. Never said a word or asked what we wanted to drink. After the chips and salsa were gone a real nice waitress and trainee came and asked if we would like a drink. Etc. Etc. Etc.... do yourself a favor and don't eat here. You won't be missing anything.

This place seems to have only gotten better in the year I've been going. The food is always fresh and delicious, drinks are well made, wait staff is friendly and attentive, and everything is clean. Even the restrooms are nice! The entrees can get pricy, from about $12-17, but you get what you pay for. Plus, they have Tuesday specials for tacos and margaritas, and despite being the cheapest I've seen in town, they still don't skimp on quality.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We’ve never had a bad dish or bad service here. The 45 oz. margarita with the bottle of corona is amazing. The fajitas are amazing. I only wish we lived closer to Winter Springs because we’d be there all the time.

I recently visited this restaurant with my husband upon recommendation of a friend and wow! Amazing food and service. I ordered their street tacos and their tortilla is house-made and is a mix of corn and flour and it was amazing! It was flavorful and fresh. I have driven past this location so many times and my only disappointment is never stopping in earlier.

I first reviewed 8 months ago and gave it 4 stars. However, after last night's visit, I have to lower it to 3 stars just for the service. It apparently was taco Tuesday. It was busy but not packed. Our server acted like she had more important places to be whenever she stopped by the table. I had to ask 3 seperate times for hot salsa, twice for more salsa and 4 times for more water. The lady who brought the food out wasn't much better. When I asked her for more salsa she looked at me like I was the worst person in the world and stormed off. The only time we got quick service was when it was time to pay the check! The food is definitely the high point and would definitely recommend based on that. Just don't go when they're busy though.
