Second time coming to Santos and still overly satisfied! The fish is fresh and delicious! I wouldn't try the oysters they've been frozen, But everything else is fantastic!! They have lots of options and even a great choice for people who do not like sushi or raw fish. They have grilled, fried and cooked choices of meat, vegetables and also have soups. Save room for desert! Ice cream and many different small portioned cakes and sweets. Strongly recommend! Make sure you aren't wearing tight pants!

Wow.... Just happened upon this restaurant. Was looking for something quick to eat and at 1st I was shocked at the price on the door when I walked in. Needless to say I walked through the restaurant to was my hands and saw this was not your normal Chinese buffet. This is very high end with everything you wish the other buffets would offer. I tried so many items and everything was spot on. Even if you can in for the sushi only it would be well worth the money. My only regret is that I'm not a local resident, there is nothing like this in North Carolina. I would have to compare this to a Las Vegas buffet. I will tag this place as one of my favorites and will be back.

All you can eat everything! Sushi, steak, seafood raw bar, soups, salads, dessert... the list goes on! Quality of food is excellent and the staff is on par. The staff works really hard here and they do it with a smile. Good food at a good price.

Great place. Went here for a business dinner. Prices posted outside front door for weekday and weekend. The food was fresh and replaced fast when/if it runs out. Not sure if you can special order any rolls but I assume one would be able. Service o drinks and bill was slow but we were talking.

This is one of the best buffet restaurants I've visited in my whole life. The food is super fresh because they take care to put only very small amounts of sushi on the trays. As soon as a tray becomes empty, they begin hand-making more of the same sushi and put a new plate with the same sushi in the same position. This practice ensures the sushi is always fresh, unlike the traditional sushi buffets where they use very large portions and you have no idea how long the sushi has been sitting there. Additionally, this is also an American buffet, an they have an on-site person grilling steaks, so if you want one you can as for it and what term ( medium, rare, well done ) you want on the spot cooked for you. You can also pick your carrots and potatoes. There is ice cream on the refrigerators also. For an additional price you can get a bottle of wine on your table. The sushi is very good and the American selection although not huge, but enough to have a good square meal. Excellent place to have lunch, but it is also open for dinner.

Absolute garbage, found a long hair in the hot food on our first visit. When we tried it again 6 months later, the sushi rice was so sticky it was embarrassing... The sushi stuck to all the metal utensils they provided, making it difficult to take sushi off the sushi bar. When I pointed this fact out to the manager, his bluster caused us to just pay the check and leave. The interaction with the manager was the worst service experience I've had in years.

Someone call the police because we have a highway robbery over here. $27 for weekends, $25 for a Tuesday night, really? The night I went, hardly anybody was there. Sushi selection is very limited, you have to peel your own shrimp and crab legs don't even have hot butter available. Then you go to the hot food, where some guy is standing there to cut 4 different steaks that are hard enough to make shoe leather out of. Hibachi here? Nope, just some unappetizing Latin meats. Desserts are about the only decent thing for the exorbitant prices here. I could go a few miles down the street to Ichiyami, pay less, get a ten percent off coupon (Santos never has a deal), get three times the sushi, shrimp is peeled, full hibachi grill custom making your food, more soups, and private booths to eat at, so you don't have to run a maze, like at Santos, to get to your table. In short, I don't think we'll be going back again.

I’m not usually a big fan of buffets just because the quality of the food is very questionable. However, Santos several large steps above the rest. The quality is noticeably better, they have a wide, although abundant, selection of food all cooked very well. Just the sushi bar alone makes the 25$ price worth it. There’s always plenty of seating and it is clean enough. Only bad thing I have to say is that the ice cream could be better but then again you’re not really going there to have ice cream, enough said

Great food selection, but sushi quality was just “ok”, not the best for the price charged ($22pp Sat lunch) you would expect better sushi. Other foods, such as meats and cuts from the grill were good, there is someone manning the station to provide you the right cooked temp for the meat. Brunch bar was nice as well, crepes and waffles are made to order and were good. Salad bar was great as well, didn’t try all of them but they has a least 4-5 types of salads. Other foods bar was good as well, a good variety of asian, Italian and some hispanic. Dessert bar was good, the usual ice cream, small plates with cakes, creme brûlée, choc moose, etc. The only food lacking was the fruit selection, the only two fruits available were watermelon and old pineapple. Server serve was ok and no complaints there.

First time there after multiple friends recommended it. The food was very, very good and plenty of variety (sushi, sashimi, rolls) and cooked food options including steak, sausage, shrimp and crab, etc. Service was good as well. Not the friendliness but nice. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the price $28 each person for dinner. This is a fair price for the amount of options but more than the competition. All in all, a ery very good experience. I will be returning.

Holiday weekend so little busy for a Sunday night. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed on cleaning up a table (took four of them to clean while line was forming to be seated). I think the management needs to step up their game. No acknowledgement of we'll be right with you or anything. Then little kids start playing tag in the restaurant while their oblivious parents enjoyed their meals. Had to get manager involved to settle their butts down. All said and done food was still fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super attentive and funny. I'll be back again.

The food is good. The customer service is very good. Our waiter brought the utensils (nut breaker, and dessert spoons), extra plates and extra napkins to us before we asked for them. They pay attention and clean our plates when we are done. Saturday night is not crowded, we can find parking space and tables right away.

I didn't enjoy this place as much as I do other buffets, but it always comes down to a personal preference. I have to give it at least 4 stats for the good quality of food and service. I did have one issue that was a little strange. Both their soda and tea tasted too much like bad tap water. Never ran into that before anywhere.

In reality, I'm writing more for the owners..Santos Boca. After coming over 5 years, once or twice a month, I can state that quality went down, while prices up. The crab used to be larger is and chunkier. Sushi freshness dropped, just look at the color, gloss and fish texture. Salmon eggs quality and caliber dropped also. Sushi is consistent but always the same. The hot buffet is not the reason I come, so I can't afford an opinion. The food preparation is made by kids who don't care about customers or QC food, the staff is professional enough for a school cafeteria. So $30 for an average meal, I'll venture my search of a good Japanese experience somewhere else.

I've never been disappointed coming here. Love that sushi - they keep the rolls coming. The sashimi & tataki comes out at night. Wish they would have those options during lunch hours. The staff is great and if you're in a hurry you can run through the buffet, grab what you need and be out the door quickly.

For an all you can eat sushi it isn't bad. I would go again on days I don't want to drive far. The food was fresh the waiters we're fast and they are constantly cleaning. The main reason why it is a 3 star is because there isn't a good amount of a sushi selection. Most of the selections have cream cheese and tempura flakes. So if you are not a fan of cream cheese and tempura flakes the selection is very small.

I was lied to about the meat and pork being cooked Separately. I asked again because the food was very close to each other and the cook said we put it on the same grill. Won't be going back until they fix that or ill just eat the sushi. That is good.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! A friend invited us over and We almost said no due to the 40 minute drive required from where we live. GOOD THING WE DID NOT SAY NO! Because the place put a great impression on us and immediately became our favorite casual restaurant! Decoration is a excellent looks and smells new! The customers are beautiful mostly young adults well presented! The service is great and performed by a young crew of well mannered, Polite, trained, silent, compenatrate, clean, friendly and glad to serve attitude staff! Meat station guy could use some more training but even though service there is a 99.9 satisfaction. The place offers real cloth napkins and has a choice of sodas too! The food is abundant lost count of how many variety of kinds of different dishes are there! CRAZY! Even if you only try to taste one of each dish you will not finish your plate! Sushi is well balanced fish x rice ratio Everything is well cooked well prepared planty and delicious! You WILL NOT Find too much rice here too much salt there.... no! This is a great food place! And I am a fat picky customer very tendentious to complain at the minimum disservice. Beer is ice cold too. I realized that even the 2 mgrs were hands on all the time! Young professionals indeed! Hard working boys! The hostess was all smiles VERY happy to help and answered all of our questions perfectly and knowledgeable. So.... My only 2 negatives for the night will be: Bathroom absolutely needs more attention And The meat station guy can smile and be more cordial like the rest of the team. . And my Tip for the night is: Even when your place starts to empty up you cannot relax and take it for granted! There are still customers here and there. Time to relax your guard is when you have the doors locked for the night.

Staff was very attentive and the selection of food will require several trips to try all of it. They have a very large sushi bar and everything I tried was well prepared. I was able to try new foods I had never had and it is a well lit and clean place to eat. They always have alot of patrons so they must be doing something right! Prices were very reasonable for the amount of selections and the variety offered. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves buffets. Staff is very friendly and all the employees continuously smile and make the facility very inviting.

If Walmart had sushi it would be a lot like Santos. The quality is poor, the selection is inadequate, most of the staff is very nice but not the hostess, the sushi is left out way too long. I would say it loses its flavor but it doesn’t have great flavor to start so maybe that’s not the problem. My guess is all the fish is frozen when it arrives because it has very little flavor and nothing is special. If you like great sushi find somewhere else. You won’t find it here.

This is a really nice place, I enjoyed our visit here. We came in just after they opened up, sometime around 12:10 PM iirc. We got lucky as we came in just before the peak time, since after we got seated 5min after our arrival, I already saw a waiting line building up and sure enough, a lot of people started to stand in line. Customer Service: Nothing to complain about, which is a great thing. We are ushered in fast, and the tables are available Food: Really nice variety and offerings. I like the sushi a lot, as well as their sashimi. They also offer steak, various kind of vegetables, and decent offering of dessert. Place: Ample space for group dining. Lots of parking space outside. Bright area, good lighting and spacing of tables and chairs. It can get crowded, and noisy during peak time but that is to be expected. They are in great location, but like many placed in Florida, requires car for fast access. Price: Reasonably priced for buffet and eat-all-you-can. I believe it's a little high but nothing to complain about as the variety, quality, and taste are on par.

To be honest I have been coming here for years . I went there yesterday with my family and the quality has gone down. For one the grill meats are always overdone . Also they had a grilled octopus that was hard and it tasted horrible . The service is good but the food has gone down in quality . The price is okay. I don’t know if will come back. Also when we got home everyone got sick and had diarrhea . Terrible experience .

I don't do buffets. This is the only one I'll go to. Santos is an up-scale all you can eat restaurant. Crab, shrimp, sushi, short rib, salad, potatoes, dessert- you name it, they've got it. I like the fact that they serve drinks too. I've only been a couple of times but both times we had outstanding service. Will definitely visit again.

Food was great, but service was not. eventhough our waiter was very nice and courteous, He could not handle our Table with a party of 9, drinks came late and forgot some, dishes and glasses were not pick up at the table, it was crowed with plates, his only Job was to keep our table clear, is a buffet, and then when we received the check there was a 18% gratuity included. I understand there is a customary norm when parties more than 6 people get charge gratuity in restaurants But, what happen in a buffet restaurant when the service is not good? Do I still paying 18 %? I can only say I was happy to pay 10% instead which is very fair for the service we received. Sometimes in cases like this, mandatory tips specially in a Buffet business are not fair for the customer, I won't coming back.

This was second time with the same server, last time that waitress refilled my water without any ice, today I paid with $50 bill, food cost was $19.80 and she took more than 20 min to bring change and that was 1 × $20, 2 × $5. The place is clean and fairly cozy however the food is mediocre and not seasoned well whatsoever. Second charging $30 for this is pretty expensive for the quality. At least the ice cream was good.

Best sushi buffet I've been to in Florida large varieties of Japanese Chinese and American. The sushi is fresh and sashimi large. They offer to go bags by the lbs. The oysters didnt taste good though I was fearful between the taste and smell I wouldn't eat them maybe next time itll be better but everything else was perfect.

The other one in East Boca Raton is much better. Too expensive to have two kids eat with you and the bill be about 120 before the tip. Seafood was not good. My one daughter ate a half piece of chicken finger and a noodle. Said the soda was the only thing she liked. I may go back to the other location, but I'll never go back to this location. Don't bother.

I didn't enjoy this place as much as I do other buffets, but it always comes down to a personal preference. I have to give it at least 4 stats for the good quality of food and service. I did have one issue that was a little strange. Both their soda and tea tasted too much like bad tap water. Never ran into that before anywhere.

In reality, I'm writing more for the owners..Santos Boca. After coming over 5 years, once or twice a month, I can state that quality went down, while prices up. The crab used to be larger is and chunkier. Sushi freshness dropped, just look at the color, gloss and fish texture. Salmon eggs quality and caliber dropped also. Sushi is consistent but always the same. The hot buffet is not the reason I come, so I can't afford an opinion. The food preparation is made by kids who don't care about customers or QC food, the staff is professional enough for a school cafeteria. So $30 for an average meal, I'll venture my search of a good Japanese experience somewhere else.

It was OK at best. The tables are to close to one another so when the people start arriving it's a pain to get up and get your food and for some reason the crab was cold and the oysters were warm. For 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 fountain drinks it was $100. For a Mediocre buffet $100 not worth it to me.

First time eating here on a Monday. Wasn’t told they charge more on Labor Day. Their website states 15.95 on Mondays for lunch. We were charged 21.00 dollars per person and only asking why, it was explained to us that they were serving a Saturday and Sunday menu therefore charging a weekend price. Well, since this was our first time I didn’t know what a weekend buffet looks like compared to a weekday buffet. The manager was extremely rude about the situation and acted like we should have known. Again, we came there to eat based off of their website price of 15.95 on Monday’s, just to be charged a weekend price. I won’t go back because the manager wasn’t willing to adjust our bill to the Monday lunch price.

A really great Buffet! Fresh Sushi, Chinese Options, Ribs, Steak, Corn, Salads and so many delectable desserts! (Even nuggets and fries for the kids) We were here with the whole fam Friday and was pleased with everything. Servers and very helpful and keep on top of your drinks and empty plates. Food is fresh and always filled once it’s low. The cook even made my daughter a veggie soup because she does not like the miso or lobster bisque. Honestly it’s has been awhile since we have been to an Asian buffet and now we are craving Santo’s! Thank you for a wonderful meal for the adults and children, we will be back :)

We love this place! Asian cuisine meets Brazilian cuisine. You can get a rainbow roll with a side of picanha. They have a great selection of sushi, and other more main stream dishes really catering to kids. Well where do I start... first off the food in the buffet was not fresh, the sushi was ok, not good just ok. The service was sub-par, our waitress definitely needed better training on customer service. . . And here’s where the dinner really goes bad. We where having dinner with friends which are in the military. When we receive the bill we where overcharged since one of the adults had not eaten. When we notified the waitress that the military veteran had not eaten she did not believe us even though she had been working the table and previously notified that he would not eat but just accompany us for dinner. She was rude and condescending towards us and made the veteran feel like he was trying to get a free meal when he didn’t eat. Finally the manager was called to review the camera footage and when he saw that what we said was accurate he removed the charge but stated that lots of people lie and why would he believe us, . . Very unprofessional, extremely incompetent and poorly trained staff including the manager. At no point should they have made us feel the way we felt. I know that the customer isn’t always right but at no point should you mistreat a patron, especially someone currently severing in the military. . I will make sure that everyone I know is told about the poor quality of treatment and service we received. Definitely not worth the money

This place was awesome! Hands down the best buffet I've ever been to but I've never been to Vegas. Just looking in from the outside it's well lit and you can see the really nice chairs and tables. My server was very kind took a while to bring me my beer and also my check but her kindness had more than made up for that and everytime the host had to pass me she smiled at me which made me feel very welcome. And the atmosphere was pleasing as well I took off a star because I dont eat meat and couldn't find any real protein options for myself and when I asked the cook near the sushi station if any of the sushi rolls had no meat like a veggie roll maybe he pretended he didnt hear me and once I got his attention he didnt seem to care or like I had bothered him. It would have been cool to see some sort of tofu or veggie sushi roll. But I found plenty of other things I could eat and was more tha. satisfied and left full. (Vegetarians are divas I can admit that) Also not alot of dessert options. But i would say that all the food looked to be of high quality and would definantly reccomend that anyone interested in a high quality buffet go ahead and stop here you wont regret it.

Very disappointed! I will never visit this place again. I’ve been coming here for years and I was pleased to share with all my U.S. military active duty and veterans friends that they supported and appreciate our troops! However, sadly they changed their manager, or at least the cynical individual (named Jorge) gave us $2 dollars military discount in our lunch check. They showed my family today that the restaurant no longer supports or care about military families. He was disrespectful and careless. The Quality of customer service decreased exponentially.

Sushi buffets are often frowned on as you really want FRESH when it comes to sushi, well this place is the exception to that rule. Due to the massive amounts of patrons who eat here the sushi and sashimi are turned over so quickly that it IS FRESH! The grill and hot food selection is really nice, although I go primarily for the sushi. The lobster bisque is very good as well.

Best Asian buffet I've ever been to! I love the wide variety of food they serve here all cooked fresh and with a smile from the employees. 10/10 would come back. The deserts are meh. Some of them are pretty good but most of them are overall just bland.

That was awesome. Everything was so delicious. I went after new years and they have the more upscale menu. Absolutely worth it. I wish I live in the area. I would love to repeat. I was feeling sick and no matter what, I was able to eat a lot. Best buffet I have ever been by far.

Reasonably priced good sushi. It's better supermarket sushi and with a large selection. Also has pretty good selection outside of sushi. Let's face it though, if you're going here, it's for the sushi.

I think our waitress was named Erica, she was from Venezuela & she was so AWESOME. The buffet was the cleanest I've ever seen & I've been in 41 states!!! The variety was phenomenal! Roast beef, creme brulee, crepe Suzette, sushi, salads, etc. Bottomless mimosas for $7!!! Love this place! :)

The food was good. The service was good. The place is very nice. The sushi selection is really not that big of a selection. And they cut the pieces of Sushi too big' It was difficult to eat some of them. The desserts were probably our favorite part of the meal.

Me and my family used to go to Santos Buffet on the weekend and lately, the deserts are not the same and the new deserts are not the same, example a red Jello that I can make at home, when I go out with my family I spect to have better things for what I am paying for! There was a huge selection of food. Some of it was very good. The lobster bisque was amazing. The tacos were not so good. The sushi was of mixed quality -- the eel roll wasn't very good. The chocolate mousse was fantastic. You can try everything and eat what you like...

Having been to the origional location in coconut creek, I was very disappointed in the selection of food. There seemed to be about half as many options as coconut creek and they didn't have the steak tartar. Not worth the money at this location sorry

Very good. Great variety and super friendly staff. We went there at lunch time. All types of sushi, salads, grilled beef, chicken and vegetables, hot buffet (with Brazilian pão de queijo) and desserts, including ice creams. There is a lady preparing fresh waffles, omelette, French toast, and crepes. during the weekends they have endless mimosas for $7. It is definitely in my favorites list!!! Worth the visit.

A great place to go out to enjoy Asian cuisine and culture. Beautiful art and ambiance but the one draw back is the tables are kinda close together. It's a bit tight especially when it's busy. Very delicious sushi and a wide variety of seafood offerings. I will definitely return and I highly recommend!

Americanized Japanese food with a twist of many other things. When it comes to shrimp, crab legs, unique sushi, soups, roasted and grilled meats, and more, this buffet has it all. Unlike a typical average buffet, Santos replaces old food out with the new more frequently, maintaining a level of freshness on top of foods of excellent quality. Every time I go here, I stuff myself because the food's that great.

Mark our waiter was great! I told him about a customer who sneezed by the buffet and used his right hand to cover his mouth, then used his right hand to touch the tongs at the bar (gross!) and Mark promptly had the tongs at the bar replaced.
