My friends and I went down for vacation. We walked in and had to wait. We decided to grab a drink while we waited. The bartender asked for our ID’s with a nasty look on her face to then deny us her service. We are all 26 years old. We go to the manager for him to also accuse us of having fake IDs with barely looking at our IDs! They agreed to serve us, so we stayed and waited to see what the service and food was like. No one checked in on us, we felt very uncomfortable, service was okay, and the food definitely was hyped up to be much better than it was. There are definitely better places in Delray to go to..

Late night trip to see the Delray strip on Atlantic Avenue brought us to this cozy spot in search of food. As the late night menus go, there were only a few options to pick from, tacos, quesadilla, and a burrito. We chose to get a mushroom quesadilla and a pulled pork Burrito, to try a new things. All in all, it was very unique. The burrito was covered in marinara, so you didn't eat it like a normal burrito, but it was very well plated and tasted delicious. The Quesadilla was easily the better of the two dishes, and the cheese and mushrooms were delectible. The mushrooms were cooked well and held a vibrant flavor and melded well with the cheese. Delicious! The pulled pork in the burrito threw me off a little with taste of the marinara, but still melded well. It was also quite large, which is great! Over all, it was about $14 for the Quesadilla and $15 for the Burrito, plus a mix drink, ran us too $36 for the night, which is not bad. Not bad at all for the area. Will definitely be going down the strip again, and hopefully we stop at Rocco's again!

Really fun place, table staff, Jordan and Andy(?) were exceptional, the hostess was a bit unfriendly, but sat the 2 of us immediately without reservations on a busy evening. Table side Guacamole was perfect and their chips are so unique. The street tacos were so flavorful. The drinks were well made. The only issue was their AC was way too cold, I froze. It was a crazy night the fire alarm went off and nobody did a thing. We definitely would return here.

This place is at the heart of "the Ave" of Delray Beach. It's has really good food, good music and good drinks, but the service at the bar is not very good. We were waiting for a table (1h) and sat for 30 minutes at the bar waiting and trying to get the attention of someone to order a drink.... And our table got free first. The music is great but it's way too loud! (We had a db meter and it kept registering around 90, which causes permanent hearing loss at at sustained exposure). It's sad cause I've been to the ones in Boca and West Palm and I like the franchise, but I think I'll try el camino next time.

We went there for lunch and had a great meal. I would definitely go back. The tableside guacamole wasn't. I presume this was because we were in the sidewalk and it wasn't feasible to get the cart down the stairs, but the guac was a bit brown so I'm guessing it was made in advance. Either way it was delicious. The ground beef and chicken tacos were both delicious and the burrito was incredible.

Good Lord! I feel so bad for Floridians who have never experienced real good food and especially real authentic Mexican food! You’ll definitely not find that here! I went late night because they were a Mexican joint that was actually open and had a happy hour late night so I appreciated that but all I could really have that was somewhat real food was a burrito with pork in it and it was absolutely terrible! I ended up eating it because I was so incredibly hungry and didn’t even want to cause any kind of issue but it was truly terrible so was the guacamole on the side it had absolutely no real flavor and was completely forgettable. I just feel so bad for people who don’t know really good food. This is definitely not it. The three dollar glasses of wine were great but I can also get them during happy hour right where I live which is in Boynton. So basically this place does nothing for me. It is overrated and just a cheesy late night spot.

Nice decor, music wasn't too loud, happy hour $2 buck tacos and $5 Margaritas is a good deal and we went on a Sunday 6pm. The bar tenders were not very nice (guys) and we had to flag them down to get more drinks and then our check. The fish tacos are NOT worth $6.50 and not excellent as the bar tender said. They were bland and small with no flavor. The chicken tacos were tasty and probably tasted better because they were $2 haha. West Palm Roccos is much better.

Awesome food and great prices... friendly and great service... and great atmosphere (All you can eat Tacos and man those tacos were good!!) We got the special appetizer (Guacamole with homemade chips) and mannnn it was awesome! Drinks were great (Mojito, Sangria (Rosé), Margarita, Pina Colada (Virgin), Modelo and Corona Beers) and if you go on Tuesday you will get Mexican Beers for $4 & Margaritas for $6... Great deal! The atmosphere like I mentioned was great and the crowd was lively... shout-out to the DJ! Will definitely go there again and if after you reading this review you decide to go... well by all means enjoy it and I'm sure you won't be disappointed! Enjoy!

Upbeat, eclectic eatery in the heart of Delray Beach. Great happy hour everyday from 4:00-7:00 pm. Servers are friendly and accommodating. Recommend the table side prepared guacamole, Chicken Enchiladas and the moist, grilled Chicken Al Carbon. Make reservations before you go as this is a busy place. I’ll be back!

Went on a crowded Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. The wait that they told was supposed to be 20 minutes, we got our text in maybe ten minutes max. We had Danielle as our server and she was amazing! Offered us great recommendations and was punctual when it came to taking care of us. My fiancé as specifically for no peppers on a quesadilla however they still found their way on it. She began to pull them off and BOOM there’s Danielle quick to aid and scoop out the old quesadilla and replace it with a fresh brand new one in the matter of like seconds! Seriously it quick!! I can’t thank you enough for a wonderful dinner and awesome service!

I happened to be in the area around 1:30 am so I said let me order something to go. I went inside and there were 2 hostesses in the front who ignored me completely while they were chatting and laughing Which I understood. Then, when they finally turned around, I asked them I just want something to go, so they told me to go to the bar. I got to the bar. Again I got ignored by another lady. She finally asked me what do I want with an attitude on top of it. I kept my cool and didn’t say anything and ordered my food. When she came out with the food. She kinda threw it at me for reasons I don’t know. I took the food and left. I sat in my car with the wondering if I should eat it after what I went through. I decided to take it back and talked to a manager whom had no considerations for my complaint. That was the first and the last time. I will never go back again. I’ll take my business somewhere else that shows a little respect.

This restaurant was decorated well, however, my party was NOT treated with kindness or respect. We had a reservation but all 5 members of my party did not arrive at the same time so we waited until all members showed up. While we waited we discovered that it was happy hour, the hostesses did not inform of that as we awkwardly waited near the front of the restaurant. 2 members of our group got drinks from the bar. Once our party arrived we were all seated at 6:40pm. Happy hour lasted until 7pm. When a member of our group went up to get a drink we were told that we could no longer get drinks as we had been seated. Another member who had just arrived went up to the bar to seek clarification from the manager as the other members oulf our group had stood at the front of the restaurant waiting and were not informed of that, nor were we told by our server when we were seated. The manager [Kyle] depicted in photos rudely told my colleague that "we have told you people several times and we don't know what you don't understand about this policy". My collegue informed the manager that she has only been in the restaurant for about 5 minutes and this is the first time she had seen or spoke to him. My colleague was shocked at his response and tried to explain that none of us were informed of this. The manager said "well now you know and rudely walked off"..... When my colleague returned to the table she was discussing how she was treated when Kyle walked past our table. Another member of my party asked him to discuss why he was treating us in such a harsh manner and explained that it is customary for the manager to treat customers with respect and asked what he meant by the comment "you people". The manager was quick to anger and we felt threatened by his tone and body language as he yelled and threw his hands in the air. [He appears calmer in the video as his behavior changed once I started recording] He stated that the waiter had already informed us about the policy which was simply not true, we were seated and asked if we wanted water. We are all people of color and feel that we were treated harshly and rudely and it have reasons to believe it was blatant discrimination based on race. The establishment was filled with primarily caucasian patrons on the date we attended.

Plenty of room but they made us sit outside in a bugging area knats in our food & drinks disgusted with this place never again! Happy hour at the bar only, every other place you to sit at the high top table for happy hour when the bar is full not at Rocco's tacos. Not accommodating at all! Left & went to racks who is most accommodating!

Food was great came out fast, however not sure if the server was new but she did not know how to treat her customers. We had a party of 10 including 2 kids. Not only did she place the plates and drinks in front of the youngest child in a highchair, but she could not answer our questions. We got our bill and the kids JUICE was rang up as a kids SODA which is the same price as an adult SODA? Never have I been somewhere that the kids drinks are being charged with their meal but to be the same price as an adults??? When we asked her why she said "I don't know" and walked away, instead of let me find out. Then we asked her to speak with a manager, no big deal we would pay the price just wanted to know why online it has a price of $3.50 for juice and we were charge $3.95 x 2 for kids SODA that wasn't soda. She came back to take the check so she could take them off because the manager was too busy running food and couldn't come talk to us. What the Hell kind of manager doesn't go see his customers when requested? That is complete BULL! When we asked her "so the manager will not be coming out to see us?" before we left to make sure we didn't leave when they would come over, she just ignored the question and walked away. Never will I return to this so called place of business nor the other 9 people we were with. If I could rate negative I would. They do not know how to run a business. And if that server was not new then she should be fired not only for her lack of knowledge but for the way she responds to her customers. There is a way to answer someone when you don't have the answer they are looking for. Learn it or get out of the restaurant business. Not to mention they sat 10 of us at an 8 top table so we were a little cramped.

Amazing food! Our server, Teresa, was super fun and nice! She answered all our questions about the menu and made the visit very enjoyable. Had tableside guac that was to die for! Because we fought over whether it would be mild or medium, we were given jalapeños on the side to make everyone happy. Try the avocados fries! So yummy. The chile tacos were vegetarian and DELICIOUS. The drinks were so sweet and yummy. Will return next trip! MUST TRY! Beautiful atmosphere.

We didn't even get to place an order. The server, Brandy, was extremely rude and impatient, she literally refused to recommend drinks and told us to read the menu. She snapped twice at the hostesses for sitting us at her table. So unprofessional and rude, we got up an left. Place looks good, not sure we'll go back now. Such a waste, you can never make a second first impression.

Definitely a hipster kind of place. The drinks were way overpriced. The watermelon margaritas or anything but watermelon. The food was okay. Everything seemed a little bit too expensive for me. Tourist Trap (DelRey location) This is a long review. To save time if you are visiting Atlantic Ave avoid Rocco unless you like being fleeced. I visit Atlantic Ave often. My first and only experience at Rocco Taco went like this. I visited for happy hour. I ordered drinks and food. The drinks were overpriced even at happy hour compared to other nearby restaurants. The food was so so and also overpriced. I paid out my tab in cash. I saw a friend and decided to have another drink with her. I paid out my 2nd tab (one beer) with a $100 bill. I received change for a $10. I thought the bartender made an honest mistake and pointed out the error. Honestly was not to be found. I politely pointed out I was a local, not a tourist and asked for a manager. She refused to call a manager but was quick to call for security. I left & later called the bar several times to ask for a manager on the chance the bar video could be reviewed. A restaurant can’t control a Rogue employee until they hear the same complaint a few times. For this they have to listen. I never received a call back. I placed this review on Yelp. It was deleted after the restaurant complained. (Funny how Yelp deletes negative reviews) Rocco had the time to contact Yelp but never contacted me to discuss my experience. Locals know this place is a trap. Ask the price of your drink before ordering as the price for a margarita will be shocking. A much better & fair taco experience is a few hundred feet away. YMMV! Rocco management I’m still waiting for that callback or email?
