Seriously loved it! The ambience of the second floor eatery plus being invited to the elevator and having a waiter waiting for us as the door opened. It was perfectly executed and awed our whole family. The food was beyond delicious. We had 1/4 chicken, ceviche and skirt state... Can't remember the actual names but you can't go wrong with anything you choose.

Extremely good, some of the best Peruvian food and honestly food in general I’ve had to date. We opened the door to be greeted with a friendly staff and live music. Sat down not thinking we’d order any alcohol, our waiter came with convinced us to order fresh pisco sour and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend ordering the pollo a la braza, arroz chaufa, wonton soup, and the chijuakay. All superb dishes. The outside layer of the chijuakay was slightly undercooked but without a doubt still delicious. Our waiters, Giovanni and Maria Paula, were excellent and deserve all their respect. We’re tourists but if we ever come back to Florida we’ll be sure to stop by this place.

The food was pretty good, and the portions are huge. We were two people, and between us we couldn't finish one appetizer and a rice dish. Although we are not big eaters, but it was still a significant quantity. The service was really good though, would recommend the place.

And we LOVED it! The chicken is amazing, and I know it’s just chicken. But so moist and seasoned so interestingly. But you all, save room for the desserts. I had some peach Chantilly cream something and omg. I wanted to lick the plate it was so good. My son wouldn’t even let me try his chocolate cake. And our server was fantastic and so patient with us. This is a gem!!!!

We came here after so long. Quality and service hasn’t changed. We had a whole chicken which was more than enough for two people and it was amazing. Darrel was our server and he was super attentive. He had a funny accent and we quickly discovered he is from DR :). We’ll be back soon! Like the title says hands down best Peruvian food I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly! Not dry at all. Plus the rice that came with it was perfect.

I've been a bunch of times. I didn't think about writing a review until now though. It's great. That's probably the best term. It's my after work hangout, because I can still talk to my friends with the music in the background, get a great drink, not too spendy and don't have to wait. It's not fancy, it's not a dive, right in the middle down the street bar. Well done, Topsy's. Well done.

This was a great place to visit, always greeted with a nice smile from the staff. Their food was authentic Peruvian with a flare is Caribbean. Their Pisco sour was the absolute best in town. Unfortunately they closed down about 3-4 months ago due to a fire. From the looks of the building, it's not opening back. First time ever at a Peruvian restaurant. The bartender was awesome and so helpful with food selection. Cerviche was top notch, first time I ever had octopus. I had a drink called a Pisco sour, so good, I had a few!! We can’t wait to go back.

Food is nothing extraordinary. The service is really, really bad. When I asked for Iced tea, first, the server told us that they are going to start making it. When we asked them again later, she told us that they decided not to make any. We asked her then for diet coke, and then 2 more times, but she never brought us the damned cokes. Then, we asked then for boxes to take 1/2 a chicken and fries to go. She brought us only a small box that wouldn't fit.

We ate here while visiting from out of town because I love Peruvian food and there aren't any restaurants local to me that serve it. We were not disappointed at any point. The food was great, friendly staff, clean establishment, top notch waiter, and our drinks were spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend here to everyone.

The way to serve food and my family, the waitresses and the hostess was very satisfactory, feeling that we were there only. Very touched. We’ve never tried Peruvian food.. This was a great find. The Chicken is outstanding!! Our sever Darren was so informative.. He suggested several dishes that were all incredible. You haft to try the rocoto hot sauce.. Wow! The Aguadito El Pollo soup was amazing.. they only give you a small cup of it. We could have had just that for our meal.. Definitely more..

Great service, delicious food. Although I love the typical Latin cuisine, this was quite different. I don't remember the names of everything so this might be useless but we started out with this delicious little mini soup. Then we got an appetizer (I think it was called a causa?), but it's basically 3 stacks of a potato-based dish, each stack with its own unique flavor and style... A-mazing. I could have just ate a bunch of those for a meal. And then I had a skirt steak sandwich (La Pituca), delicious juicy, tender meat. But they had so many other tasty-looking plates that I saw being served. A bit on the pricey side.

Good spot from Juan Chipoco (ceviche 105 founder) for typical Peruvian rotisserie chicken. You can also have full Peruvian menu , and it's right beside Ceviche105. Great service and a bit pricey. Try parking for yourself, otherwise you'll end up adding $20 to your dine-out

PLACE IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!! So Pollo y Jarras is closed until further notice as they had an electrical issue. That is fine..however, their website states nothing is this. For a company that owned several different brands across Miami, this is not really acceptable. Hopefully the owners will see this review and update their information promptly. I'd is highly embarrassing to have a group go there for dinner, only to find out that the place is closed and then to scramble to find somewhere else.

My absolute favorite restaurant in downtown Miami. I go there by myself, with small groups, and large business dinners. Get the 1/2 chicken, fries, and salad. Simple and exquisite.

This is more than the 5th time I’ve been in the restaurant. Every time I’m in Miami I drop by this place and it is always as good as the first time I was here. The tacu tacu dishes are awesome, as well as the ceviche. This last time I’ve dropped by, Linda was our waiter during lunch time. She has been an awesome waiter, on top of things without making you feel that she was pushy and I didn’t have to ask for anything. Give her a salary raise!!! I shall be back in the place next time

Today I went with my wife and my 1.5-pound puppy to have lunch. We bought this puppy for emotional support. We even brought the emotional support card, where it is stated that by FEDERAL LAW, all places must provide access to him. I am Peruvian and I used to go to this restaurant on a weekly basis, however this will be the last time. Extremely disappointing at the restaurant policies that overrule Federal Law. It is a shame.

This place has great food. I have been here multiple times and have kept coming back. However the last few times I have found it difficult to get the waiter’s attention. They hardly come to the table and we had to ask the other workers to get the waiter to take our orders. In addition they forgot details that we asked. I really hope they improve on the service to make it as good as the food.

The aguadito was really good, and a little spicy; they give you a taste of it after you are seated. You are put in an elevator to get to the second floor restaurant. Food was good, but service wasn't that great. Won't make a trip specifically for this restaurant, but if I'm ever in the area, I may try again.

Very disappointing experience. I visited recently with my father. It was late afternoon and the place was almost empty. Our waitress Bertha was sullen throughout and kept rushing us through our meal. The staff would walk by the table every 5 minutes asking if we were ready for the check. My dad wasn't even done eating and wanted to order dessert when the check was brought over. I don't know why they were in such a rush for us to leave since only one other table was occupied. Our waitress actually asked if she could bring the check and leave but not to tell because she would get in trouble. The staff seriously need retraining in how to treat guests.

This place is “sister restaurant” of C-viche105 but service and attention to detail fly out the window. The attendants at the counter are always in private -personal chat & conversations and not paying attention to the orders. Regardless if you are walking in or using a third party online order the order is likely wrong. Twice this week i ordered a whole chicken with fries and rice (it comes with 4 sauces) twice I called within a minute of placing and spoke to someone and asked for the sauces (Vinagreta/white sauce and Guacaina/ yellow sauce) as I prefer these instead of the third sauce. Twice they packed whatever sauces they wanted. Walked in on Friday and they pack the chicken with double fries instead of rice. If you want to not get what you pay for, want dried or over cooked meals, listen to staff joke and have private conversations in front of you, if you want to be surprised what they packed (instead of what you ordered This is the place for you. Don’t bother to call the restaurant to ask speak to a manager -they won’t get one on the line. Staff: 1) Francesca, thanks for not apologizing. 2) Herminio/Francisco -thanks for sending the wrong sauces. 3) Staff that insisted in Not helping a customer that ordered online and you suggested for me to drive over and pick up the missing sauces. Imagine if Pollos y Jarras had continued the great service it once had to go in hand with the food- what a gem in downtown Miami. I wonder if Juan Chipoco knows the service has declined so much lately at his beloved Pollos y Jarras

Amazing! Deliciously spiced roast chicken served with salad and perfectly crisp sweet potato fries. Server brought 3 dressings to try, a ranch, another creamy yellow-green with herbs and a tart vinegar-based with herbs, all good. Meal began with a complementary, small chicken soup sample, also delicious. Wonderfully accompanied with a glass of refreshing white sangria.

I've been a fan of this restaurant over the years. Their chicken is always great and that can't be denied. It has a very particular flavor that is signature to the restaurant and it's great. Now, other than the chicken, the rest of the food is not on par. I ordered a churrasco steak (pricy too) which wasn't soft or felt like low quality meat. The same with the side dishes such as the salad or yuca fries, all mediocre in taste, ingredients, and execution (I.e. yuca fries were soggy and oily). This place has been a long standing gem in downtown Miami but it is showing some age and loss of quality. I'd only come back for the chicken and nothing else.

Firstly, we did not like the interior, how does it fit this type of restaurant? Secondly, we arrived to almost empty place and were surrounded by 6 waitress standing all together talking while we were eating and no one brought us napkins sp we had to ask. The salad with chicken was not well done, some part were raw and not grilled. Ceviche was fine.

here was my first meal in San Francisco this vacation. We visited for brunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy which was fine as they take reservations. They have a modern fusion vibe with American and Korean offerings. I ordered the dolsot which was a bibimbap in a hot stone. The wife ordered the same. It hit the spot. Filling but not too filling. The restaurant was next to my hotel and close to the touristy things as well. This is one of the best restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf.

My food was undercooked. I waited for 10 minutes to have a waiter taking care of it and other 10 minutes to have it replaced and I got the same thing back. I was charged for the whole thing including a 18% tip ( for the bad service, I guess). I’m not eating there ever again.
