I had to give this four stars because they were extremely understaffed when I went. Food is always good I like their season chicken. However they needed an additional 2 to 4 people to work because we were waiting almost 15-20 minutes for our food and they just kept taking orders and more orders. So I would definitely give this 4-star. Normally I would give Pollo Tropical a 5 star for being a really quick easy good food meal for under $8 however my visit was really long and also the sauce bar was an absolute disaster. It looks like it hadnt been wiped down all day and there were two sauces out and when we notified them to replace the sauces they just shrugged and kept processing more orders.

First timer and after a long drive back from Miami food was very much needed. Although my family loves Pollo Tropical food, this last visit was no different than EVERY other visit. We always order our food to go and know to check the order before we take it home because the order is ALWAYS wrong! This time I did not check the order close enough and ended up with the wrong order. The food took too long to get even though they weren't that busy and I am just amazed at how a business can be so bad at putting together an order correctly

We had a messed up order from a third party food delivery service, we ordered our food but it never showed up, we came with the complaint about it, the manager made us understand that they did the order but no one ever showed up to pick it up. After clarifying that she proceeded to re make our food, beside the fact that they weren't the ones to blame. So great way to show that they care about their costumers. So after all great food and great service.

We are Orlando locals and we were craving Pollo Tropical today after not being in for a couple months. We the 3 of us went in at around 4pm today and the service was awful. The lady working the register was running around preparing food and finally came over to take our order. She never apologized for making us wait. From the beginning she seemed annoyed by the fact we had questions about the menu. After placing our order we went over to find the drink station filthy and no ice in the machine. Next, we had a difficult time finding a clean table and wiped one down ourselves. The food came out quickly. My mom orderd a new item that had shrimp. It was dry and hard. I took it back to ask for chicken. The girl was rude and the chicken was not any better. Lastly, we visited the sauce bar and it again was filthy and didn’t look like it had been attended to in awhile. We finally gave up and went elsewhere to get food. We never saw a manager. I think next time we have a craving for PT, we will go eleseware. Now I understand why so many locations are closing for good.

Super excellent attention, yesterday August 14 due to weather issues there was a delay since I was traveling from Minnesota to Orlando and we arrived very late, my family and I opted to go to Pollos Tropical Store 159 which closes at 12, upon arriving there was already a Mrs. (Ana if I remember correctly) super friendly closing the door and told me that it was closing time but that he could help me, I explained what happened and in that approach the Manager (JOSÉ ) attending us in an extraordinarily spectacular way and Super friendly, despite the time they had no problem attending us and at all times showed quality of service and optimal customer service, for this reason we felt very satisfied and highly recommend that pleasant place.

Is there a way I can give no stars??!! Has been awhile since I got my family and I food from this place. Everything was tasting great until........We found a loooooong strand of hair that does NOT match any of our hair colors so we knew it wasn't from us. It was DISGUSTING!!! So bad that I have to force myself to keep down the food as I want to vomit. I will not be returning to this awful place and will not recommend anyone to go here neither.

I have been coming to this Pollo for about 3years. Has been about 4months since my last visit. They are not the same here on Semoran blvd anymore. They don't walk the food order to you at the table anymore. They also don't serve dine in customers with plates, silverware and plastic cups anymore. All to go containers. The restaurant was dirty , condiment station filthy. The food was ready quick as usual. Cashier was very friendly.

It’s happened just right now, 01/23/09 at 11:45am, Sooner that you open the door at this location, their music is too loud, I picked up my order and I had a seat, and when I was at the table eating I start not feeling comfortable, with this loud music they had in store, I approach to the supervisor girl and I friendly let her know the music it too loud, and when I get back to my table, I finish eating still not comfortable hearing the music still loud the whole time, also I left the location and they still never change the volume of the music inside the store, the part more amazing was, when I was having conversation with her the supervisor, she starting looking at my face impress, that I was talking about the music being too loud at the store, she was looking to me making me feel like I’m some Chyna idiot, and she giving me this face look like, ( there is too many important things to take care over here! and you coming to me to talk about the music been loud!!! ) Wow Pollo Tropical, Good Service!!!

In years past, this location was one of the top-rated Pollo Tropical restaurants in the city. Being so close to the airport, the volume of customers is quite high, which means the quality of service needs to be on point and it always was, until yesterday. When we first walked in, we were all by ourselves and anticipated a great experience...2 minutes later there were twenty people behind us and the workers got nervous and began making mistakes. They had just barely opened and we had to send food back twice to get fresh hot food...it was 11:30 am! There was no reason for them not to be ready for the rush when they just started their day! Also, the sauce station had not been prepped or cleaned from the night before...sauce drippings everywhere and no cups or lids...11:30 am! To top that off, the only person working the register was also mopping the floor from the night before...not a good sign! Finally, after several attempts, the food was still problematic! We all felt a little discomfort throughout the evening and discussed it today...not sure what was burning in our guts, but it didn't feel pleasant! The only reason that I'm giving them a 2 out of 5 is for parking...I was able to park right up front, which made it easier to get out of there after waiting so long! Next time you're craving some Pollo Tropical from this location, be cautious!!! Make sure that if you see the woman at the register and she has a mop next to her, do yourself a favor and go to Chuy's or Cheddar's! ...and if she follows you to either of those places...run!

Pollo Tropicals Food is great but both locations on Semoran have the absolute Worst Staff and Worst Customer Service. They get my order wrong every SINGLE time. I don't understand how hard it is to take an order and get it right, McDonalds is 5 Star compared to these locations order accuracy. This has happened to me over 5 times now. If you order grilled chicken sandwich expect for it to be fried. If you order it Fried you'll get grilled. Want Fried Yuca? Heres some French Fries. There staff is so poorly trained. 1 out of 5 Stars.

Got lunch for a large family to go. cashier did not know how to operate the cash register or take our order, but a manager on duty stepped in backed out the order and got it closed. Later we found out that we were slightly overcharged, and he corrected it. Food quality was excellent, and there was plenty for everyone. I'd still recommend going again.

Best place ever. Was strained just got out of the airport drop off by a cab. They were not open yet, but the manager came out and told me I could wait inside till my daughter got there. Even got me a glass of ice water. When daughter arrived we ordered some food. The food was awesome.chicken was tender and not dry Beans and rice yummy. Great people, great food. Need places like this to stay open. They know the meaning of good service and customer care. Thank you

Food is great, but if you go the drive thru route, you better hold up the line, open every box and check everything to make sure everything you paid for is in the bag. EVERY SINGLE TIME something is missing from my order and I have to pull back around and be like, “it’s on my receipt why isn’t it in the bag?” If it was every once in a while, fine. But literally every time, that’s ridiculous

Great food and Latin flavors. Very affordable for the whole family to eat. It is offer chicken, pork shop and pull pork. The family meal includes a whole chicken, white rice and black beans or you can create your own at a nice price.

This was my first time here. I had ordered the Pincho Platter with shrimp. Instead, I ended up with chicken. I ended up not sending it back in hopes that it would end up being delicious. What I ended up with is chicken that was grossly overcooked and dry. The rice was just as bone-dry. I don't believe this was the intention of the restaurant, regardless it's what I ended up with.

I said it once and I say it again. While the original taste of the food is returning, it depends on who is cooking on the day I go to eat again. It's only fair for a business if their food taste and quality are trashed one day, the patrons like me, have to return to find out if they care about the quality of food they serve by improving, or retraining their staff. Yesterday I went there with my family, and while the chicken tasted good this time, the rice, it seemed like the guy cooking it, had dropped the whole can of salt. It was so salty that it burned our tang as soon as it touched it. You are getting better Pollo Tropical, however, someone there needs to taste the food you cook in large quantities to make sure you, and your family can eat it before serving it to you customers.

The place is clean and pretty affordable. I had a fried chicken bowl and it is quite tasty but I think one of the reasons is that I was hungry. The fried chicken was not fresh but quite favorable

So .. Where do I begin? Lets start with ck out window in the drive thru .. I placed two separate orders. I handed cashier my cc and she kept after charging me then gave me my food order still no cc returned. She proceeded to request the payment for the second order. I requested my CC back which she very kindly returned with receipt. Hand her second cc for payment she swipes my card and places my card down again gives me my oder and i again request my CC back. She hands me the CC back with no receipt I requested receipt in which she gives me a look like really lady. Now she hands me a blank one! I requested a duplicate copy of the original receipt. Cashier asks me well how much was ur order? I laughed what a good question thats why i am requesting the receipt. After a brief moment she was able to provided me with a new copy. Now the meal that i ordered was a tropichop of pulled pork white rice lettuce tomatoes and corn. My bowl had the biggest chunks of lettuce a sprinkle of tomatoes and a small dash of corn. When I say there was hardly any tomatos or corn. The pork was not seasoned at all. Point of story if u drive about a half of a mile heading opposite direction there is a Chipotle! Same price but the quality of the food is better. Plus then dont hold ur CC hostage!! Will not be returning needless to say.

Id give no stars if I could. This is the worst pollo tropical I have been to. I HAVE BEEN HERE A COUPLE TIMES AND EVERYTIME SOMETHING GOES WRONG. AND THE LADY WORKING CASHIER TODAY WAS SO RUDE. ACTING LIKE SHE WAS BETTER THAN US . I THINK HER NAME IS ERICKA VERY BAD SERVICE ON TOP OF THAT MY WIFE ASKED FOR OUR FOOD TO GO 3 TIMES AND SHE STILL PUT IT AS DINE IN SO WE HAD TO WAIT LONGER FOR OUR FOOD TO BE BOXED AFTER THEY ALREADY HAD IT ON PLATES. AND THE ORDER CAME OUT WRONG. THERE WAS SOME KIND OF PLASTIC IN THE GARLIC SAUCE. VERY BAD EXP.

I live in Ohio and haven't had the opportunity to eat at a Pollo Tropical before stopping here the night before we left on a cruise. The variety of dishes, sauce combinations, etc. made it a pleasant surprise. Understanding this is fast food and not a traditional restaurant, I found the service and food to be well done. I would definitely stop again.
