Food was Okay, I prefer to explore other restaurant and leave this one. Even thought my family started having buffet, the person came up with the bill, one should pay the bill first irrespective of either you and family in middle of your food. Not a great service :(

We've been eating here regularly for years. We've always enjoyed the food and there's always Indian families, which is always a good gauge of a restaurants authenticity. Just make sure you ask for a split bill at the beginning of the order...that didn't go so smooth this time.

The food was watery and they are really stingy with to-go containers. They expected my group to pack 2 orders in 1 to-go box. When we asked for another to-go container, they made us explain why we needed one. I shouldn't have to justify why I need a cheap to-go box on a $60 meal. They also have gratuity built into the check and then request a tip.

Delicious food, top notch service, and a fun ambiance. What more could you want? We decided to try them out to fulfill our Authentic Indian food cravings and they satisfied all the taste buds. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Naans, Regular Naans, Pakoras, and the complimentary appetizer snack were all made to perfection and were authentic tasting. Service was exceptional and there were multiple servers walking around helping us. Seating was ample and very comfortable. We will be going back to this place and highly recommend them.

This place was delicious if I could I would give this place 5 stars. Not only is the food good and the real deal but the service is outstanding. They made sure we loved the food and that everything was ok more so then I have experienced in other restaurants. This place has a real mom and pop feel to it. I highly recommend the eggplant dish and anything lamb. They do give large portions which worked out perfectly for me and my husband since we had dinner for later.

I've been visiting this place since the 90's, where the taste is always the same! The owners are lovely and make you feel family every time! I went on Saturday with my husband I hadn't been there for a few years due to work and travel. As I walked in the owners remembered me and here's the kicker, they remembered I always order the beef curry with naan! So, true to their word I ordered the Beef curry with naan which was absolutely delicious! The fast is the same after all these years it was great to see that no matter what this restaurant has stayed true to their dishes and ingredients, while adding more varieties to the menu. They now offer a Chaat menu! We ordered the pani puri and another form of pani puri with yogurt, it was delicious! The puris were fresh and the chick peas and potatoes mixed with the sauce, tamarind and yogurt was divine! All the flavors explode in your mouth causing a great sensation of flavors! My husband ordered the chicken tikka meal with extra onions and bell peppers, he not only ate the whole platter which was filled with moist fresh juicy chicken breast and sizzling onions and peppers, he even ordered one to go for the next day, along with 2 orders of pani puri to go!!! We will definitely make this a weekly event! Great food and great Owners who know how to treat everyone like family and have kept the same recipes! A definite must!!!

Very good food and authentic cuisine. We loved every item in the menu, would keep going there, if I am in that area. Their fried chicken, baked foods, chicken curry, naan, rotis are amazing. Their desert is also very good. Their menu price is very economical. Overall, I would recommend this place for any vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Food is just about okish. Not very authentic. Service was ok too. Restaurant needs updating and food needs some real spices and not just chillies. Go if you are in the mood for some bland food. Lunch time deal is good but it's quantity over quality.

We were looking for a lunch spot on a weekday, and this was across from our hotel. The place was pretty empty so the service was quick. We got a samosa appetizer and a mango lassi for dessert, and with what's in the photo we were a bit under $50. We all left satisfied. The samosas were very good, and they came with two yummy chutneys. The butter chicken was so smooth and flavorful. Their dry Tikka chicken was also very good, even the veggies that came with it. The naan was also good. The mango lassi finish hit the spot. Their prices are basically in line with the five other Indian places within a couple blocks of each other, not the most but not the least. We chose this based on the reviews and menu prices we checked out for everyone. The quantity was good for a family of four to share two entrees, but a lower price would have felt better. The naan was extra, which is not what I'm used to in Indian restaurants. For the taste, they get 5 stars. But it was a little pricey so I'm leaving 4. We would go back and try other things.

We came from NJ thinking we won't be able to get Indian food with the real feel of home. But we were proved wrong by this restaurant.. AMAZING food with Awesome service. They truly are a winner of Best in Orlando. I am writing this review to save in my system so I can come back on my next visit to FL. We came here every single night for dinner during the entire duration of our stay and tried everything from their menu.. The food was absolutely delicious.

We went to this place after calling three different places. And we just loved the food. We asked if the food is kept frozen or made fresh and the host told us they make it fresh every time. We had chana masala, bhature, malai kofta, rice, naan, roti, moong daal halwa, masala chai. Everything was super.

Very good authentic Indian good. I'm not from India but every time we go it is packed full of Indian customers, if you ask me i think that's a good thing. Staff is friendly although the restaurant is usually pretty warm, they need to turn the AC on a bit more but other than that we like this place a lot.

I visited today and was greeted by a very friendly lady who was interested in making sure we had a great experience. I've eaten here once before and the previous time was great as well. I have some samosas and some chicken korma with basmati rice. Then to finish I had Tutti Frutti ice cream. I would recommend.

My sister and I are used to great Indian food, from Jackson Heights, NY, so we were hesitant when we saw the mixed reviews and mentioning of bad service; but we were shocked when we tried it. We arrived around 5pm on a weekday, the restaurant was pretty empty but the food spoke volumes. The curry chicken, and curry lamb was splendorous and both came with sides of rice. The naan bread was good, but the gold was in the garlic cheese naan (it’s a bit more but well worth it). As an appetizer, the vegetable samosas were a great choice! Can’t emphasize that enough. As for the “mean woman” in the bad reviews, it seemed more so that other customers were disrespectful and expected to be treated like royalty, but the woman we presumed to be the owner was nothing but pleasant and attentive, along with her staff. Don’t hesitate, and at least stop by for the samosas.

The food is really good. It has a homemade taste to it. It's fresh and a good quantity. Customer service is good as well because they're very sweet and calm. There was one waiter that was a bit rude and took up our plates very hurriedly. The pricing is a bit too heavy but it's manageable for once in a while.

Came in with a big party. 10 people. Only 1 server/cooker. Guessing it was the owner only working on Saturday dinner time. Very hot. Wouldn't turn up air conditioning even after asking multiple times. Turned on a fan in the corner of the room. Waited over 30 minutes to get a menu. And another 30 to get the chips appetizer. Then another 30 minutes for food to come out. Sweating and waiting is not what I expect when dining at a restaurant in international drive Orlando. Food is good for price though.

WARNING: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE I placed an order from here via doordash and was cancelled at the last minute. Doordash confirmed restaurant cancelled the order without reason. I called the restaurant to ask why it was cancelled - they just picked the phone and did not speak. In the background I hear the owner/front desk taking new orders. And then they simply hung up on me. Upon calling back, I get a busy tone. Wasted 45-50 minutes of my time waiting for the order which I placed after just completing a 6 hour long travel. Horrific.

Ordered through Uber Eats yesterday (2/11), and omg DON'T DO IT! I never knew you could go wrong with nan, but apparently you can! It was very rubbery, as if it were store bought or had been made in the morning and leftover from a buffet. The chicken tikka masala was bland, tasteless, just not good. And the Dal was just spoiled. My daughter really wanted Indian food for her birthday dinner and we were left so disappointed.

Absolutely delicious, just arrived from Detroit and this was my first stop in Orlando. We had the Panir Masala, butter chicken, lamb curry, Vegetable Biryani, samousa and garlic nan bread! It was all so fresh and full of flavor. And to top it off the service was incredible as well! Definitely will be back for me! If you love Indian food, this needs to be your next stop.

The food was terrible. The seeshkabab was soggy and has no taste what so ever. Lamb curry has more curry than lamb in it. For the price and food I got I will not recommend this good looking restaurant for anybody. I travel a lot and try to give good feedback. But some of these old dogs (sorry for harsh words) never get it. So we the customers have to change these old folks. By the way there is another Indian restaurant just 30 feet from this restaurant. They have lot better and reasonably priced food. Bottom line do not go to this res for good Indian food.

Service here is horrible. The owners wife who works there is disrespectful. She doesn't understand the simple concept of customer service. She mocked me in front of customers, when i tried to keep the situation in a respectful/professional manner. She raided her tone saying im a liar and i ordered something from the menu, which i didnt. There are plenty of other indian cusine near that restaurant, i would advise everyone to go elsewhere to avoid such drama.

I can't say enough about "New Punjab Indian Restaurant". Its not new, I have been going there for the last 17 years. Same owners, they host, serve and cook. They are consistent in all that they do. The hardest part is choosing what to order, I've had it all there. Absolutely fabulous, and my indian friends, that I introduced to the place, rave about it, and That should tell you something.

One of the worst customer service I ever encountered. We went in to the restaurant at around 9pm which is quite before the restaurant closing time, even then we were facing real difficult to get the staff to get our queries answered. There was no greeting from the lady who was taking order and not even one time she smiled at us. Food was mediocre, we ordered an appetizer and main course. They served them altogether and when we asked of they can wait for main course for sometime, and the answer was a straight NO. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone especially your looking for decent food and hospitality.
