Very delicious and home made food. Dosa was way better than any other restaurant. Enjoyed every bit of our meals. Will definitely recommend it.

Krysta Logsdon

LOVE! The man who worked there was super nice and went out of his way to show us what was vegan. We ordered our food to go and he made sure to wrap the curry box in plastic wrap so it wouldn't spill. Food was excellent! Highly recommend!

Muljibhai R Hadiyel

Best Indian food I got on way Orlando to Atlanta. Praise worthy food and homely attire!

Helms Farms

Very good place for quick gormet food. Plant based too.

Son Khuu

Many vegan options. Had the mango chicken rice dish and it was delicious.

Giovanni Orellana

Great food, very friendly owners, great people who really care about the vegan community!

david watson

This is only vegan restaurant all eat at. Excellent food Excellent people and excellent prices. I've never had a bad experience here And will continue to come and recommended to anyone who enjoys of vegan food

Lauren Lopez

Ive been a vegan for 8 years, have been to many places, and stopped here for some quick food on my way back from orlando and i swear i have never had vegan food anywhere that has tasted this freaking food. The owner is such a nice guy and a genius in the kitchen. Im so in love with this place I'd travel hours just to eat it again. So worth it.

Amol Khar

Excellent Indian food. Much better than other pseudo Indian restaurants in town. Small place but food is what I go there for.

Robert Wilson

Had lunch here today. Very good! Loved the Iced Thai Herbal Tea! You need to bottle this and sell it! Very delicious! Will gladly eat here again!

Ritu Shah

Really good food. And the owner is very nice person.

Gabriella Steele

Delicious food! There have been many menu changes as of late, but they are very accommodating and have taken special requests from me many times. Would definitely recommend!

Patrick Osburne

Unique place. Food is very good. Takes a while to get it, but worth the wait. Portions are good accept spring rolls. The summer rolls are outstanding. I don't like sweet potatoes, with that said the Curry with sweet potatoes is great. This place could use a little more room, but still a great vegan option.

Jonathan Edelmann

The food is generally good, but we had such a spaced out server - our order was wrong, she had no idea what was going on and didn't care. I think she was half asleep. Made no effort to correct the situation even after we told her the order was wrong.

Gabriel Milian

Great food and service! I will definitely come back.

Anurag Singh

Best Indian food in Gainesville. Amazing food and service.

Ashley Cottontail

I love this place. They have never let me down.

Emanuel Hernandez Jr

There rice bowl's are delicious!

Kevin Brown

I really enjoyed my experience here. My favorite is the Chikn Philly which in all honestly tastes like real chicken. Neela knows how to recommend some great options on the menu. The new menu is amazing!! Definitely one of the better vegan places in town.

Geli Alvarez

We always travel between north west Florida and Melbourne and finding a place like this was a surprise. .. everything they have there is really good, especially the noodles and rolls... the owner came outside to say hi and a group of ppl that was having a birthday party had everyone FROM the restaurant come out to sing happy birthday. The birthday young woman gave our children two big pieces of the cake baked at the restaurant. . What else can I say... GO THERE!!!!!

Tina Meng

The website menu and the actual in-house menu didn't match up. Very small dining area. I don't know if their AC was broken the day we visited but it was very warm in there. We ended up not eating here but what they were cooking smelled great.

Jamie LaRose

I appreciate the effort of running a vegan cafe and I rarely go out to eat as I cook frequently and there is a large lack of option variety for vegan dining in Gainesville. I ate here for the first time yesterday, I got the tofu bahn mi. It wasn't quite what I had hopes for. There was a great crusty bread with watery vegannaise, tofu, lettuce (wet) and sparse cilantro. I was very hungry and not disappointed with the portion. Some suggestions I would make: keep an eye on sauce viscosity, add more cilantro or another bahn mi sandwich item like pickled radishes or carrots or jalapenos or substitute with something similar. The sandwich was boring and soggy but the bread was appreciated. Staff at this spot were very friendly. One tip for staff: when handing a fork or cup to a customer, don't hold the cup by the drinking rim or the fork by a part that touches someone's mouth.

Really nice people doing a great job

Kunal Bajaj

A decent place for Indian vegetarian meals.

Brian Reiss

High quality for health

Madeline Bottenhorn

The staff is so friendly! The Roti is very good too, they make it fresh as you order it!! Also the somosas are delicious :) Also the vada pav, so good!!!

Carrie Pelzer

Stopped by here tonight and it was VERY tasty! Wish they had some meat dishes on the menu but if you're looking for great vegetarian Indian food this is a good spot!

Jagannatha Kripa

Perfect for take away. Healthy, karma free, tasty, filling and not to pricy

Ashutosh Prasad

Great food

Marcia Glick

The food was okay. But too pricey for the amount a food you receive.

Samantha Dom

A lot of options all vegan. Only place in area that's completely vegan.

Kristiina Thompson

I was a regular here for two years before they recently switched management and changed their name. My partner and I are creatures of habit and literally order the same thing every time we come here. It had been a while since we last ate so the first thing we noticed was the lack of staff, one line cook, one register person on a Saturday afternoon. Lack of staff made wait time much longer than quoted, but its been a favorite eatery of mine so I was okay with waiting extra this time. We finally received our food, one wonton soup, a rice combo and a heavenly salad. We were told they were out of wontons for the soup, so we would be comp'ed additional spring rolls. There were usually six wontons, we received 1 additional spring roll. Already that ratio seemed weird, but once again we ignored it for the time being. The wonton soup had a thick layer of oil floating on top. This was nothing like before. We had a random assortment of vegetables thrown in, squash, broccoli, carrots. No bok choy which was always a treat, and standard. The soup broth tasted like chicken noodle soup, it was not light and clear like before. It was just sad, I'd drink the broth before like it was water and this was not appetizing. My partner's heavenly salad was missing ingredients like cilantro, snow mushrooms and peanuts, the side dressing was so watered down and tasted like apple cider vinegar. The dressing is what made it so delicious, so this was a huge upset. My rice combo, frankly, you couldn't really mess up but it was. I had a side of spring rolls, the chik'n and yellow rice with a side dressing of sweet and sour sauce. Once again, sauce was so watered down. The rice looked like bits of white rice thrown in, was bland and not seasoned like it usually was. At this point, the salad and soup were so disappointing, we did not want to continue eating here. We spent nearly $40 with tips, and the only thing that was enjoyable like before was the chik'n. There's no point in wasting that much money to be disappointed at every bite. It was extremely awkward to confront register person about this, who said he was technically the management. He at first did not want to refund us, instead offered to comp other foods and soups. With the wait time so long and the taste of these familiar foods so off, we did not want to continue our experience here. We finally received a refund, which also was a process since he didn't know how to do that function in their system. I'll try again in the future, but this experience from start to finish has been just so sad as a regular. This was my favorite restaurant in Gainesville. We really miss Michael now.

yogin trivedi

Finally an Indian

Michelle Hamilton

Food was very good and owner was very helpful with suggestions. Would definitely recommend. Big menu with lots of things to try.

Maya Zacharow

Waited for an order for 20 min, only to see a customer who ordered after me have her order filled first. She ordered 2 pumpkins soups, a large salad, 2 spring rolls and a cheese cake. I ordered 1 soup. When she walked in the owner greeted her and proceeded to introduce her to one of his staff. When I asked the owner why was she served before me, he decided to tell me that her cheesecake was already ready, and that is the reason they pushed to fulfill her order first. Be ready to wait and pushed to the back of the line if someone who the owner deems more important walks in.

Jenny C

I like them. They’ve changed a bit but still delicious.

Jenny Henry

Super good dinner on our way back from Florida going to MI. Got 3 different types of smoothies, combo #2 and a Hawaiian pizza all awesome!!! Ended with peanut butter cookies for the ride home. Very good and if we are coming through again we will stop!

Michael Spugnardi

Great food and good service. Kids loved the smoothies and Chikn nuggets! Moving away from styrofoam and plastic serving containers and utensils would likely better fit the overall feel and theme of the restaurant. Lastly, the name of the business has changed several times in the recent past. Better cohesion with online/social sources would go a long way to increase exposure and reduce confusion.

Adi Rojas

AWESOME FOOD. Be prepared to wait! Call 30min ahead of time!

Joe Burden

Awesome food for vegans!

Jonathan R

Philly sub needs work, but otherwise glad that vegan fast food is becoming a thing. Staff was helpful and kind. Prices were OK. Small, yet still a nice place to eat/drink. Most people coming in were getting smoothies.

Denny Beck

We seek out vegan-friendly restaurants when we travel, and this absolutely ranks among the very best. We make it a point to lunch here when traveling I-75 either way near Gainesville. Their large menu selection offers appealing foods for a wide variety of tastes, including those new to vegan eating or trying vegan, plant-based options for the first time. The food is delicious, and the ingredients are fresh. Nice people, too.

Sean Hargrove MB

Under the old management we would eat here once and awhile. Under the new management we eat here sometimes 5 nights a week. in the past couple months we have only one issue. that issue was nothing crazy. But was dealt with like I never see anymore, in the best way imaginable, the took care of it like we were family. if you have not tried this place yet try it. the gingr chkn sub or bahi mi is off the scales. fresh artisan French bread has a crisp out and soft inside. the summer and Saigon rolls with the homemade almond sauce will take your taste buds on a journey you will want to take over and over again. the new owners and staff will come great you with warm smiles and take care of you like you are their only customer, even if it is busy.

D

Great food and large drink selection. They have the best tofu. Easy stop off of I-75 and better vegan food than downtown Gainesville. There are some patios seats. Don't follow Google Maps because the driveway is after the light.

Kathleen Kern

I have not visited, because I called. I spoke to a lady today who told me that there is a new owner, and that they no longer have vegan food-only vegetarian. So, I did not make the 40 minute trip.

Mikel Mazlaghani

I had the spinach + tofu curry over rice and the mushroom curry over rice. Both were excellent! Good sized portion as well.

Colleen Logan

We ordered a huge spread. The food is delicious, bursting with flavor. Everything was also very fresh and came out fast. We wish they had a location in Tampa where we live!

Devala Griffith

One of the best meals I've had

Anil Sharma

Reasonably priced good Indian food in a dive kind of place!

Julia Marcotte

Loved the Saigon rolls and the Fried rice was good too!

Scott Ambrose Reilly

What a great little gem of a hole-in-the-wall take out. Such good food and so little pretense. We were pleasantly surprised on our visit to Gainesville to find such good Indian Food.

Essence

The staff was friendly enough and the food was good but the price we paid for the small order we had was way too much. $16 for potatoes, naan, a small container of rice and two samosas is ridiculous.

Gregory Yap

Good food but overpriced for small portion

Eve Ciotti

Great food and kombucha selection! By far their best item is the peanut butter cookies. I can't wait to try more of what they have.

Nahir Rosado

David, the owner, is super nice. His food is fresh and very tasty. On the weeks I know dinner time is going to be hectic, I order the weekly meals (affordable for 2 adults). That way I don't have to worry about cooking dinner during the week.

John T

Great place to get vegan food in town. BBQ Skewers are a must try. The Philly Sub is also amazing.

Leslie Petty

Faux Mac n Cheese was yummy. Sat outside, tiny picnic tables and a little noisy but great vegan food.

Nila Khurana

Ordered the mango chicken, it was really tasty and didn't take that long. There were a lot of menu items to choose from, more than the first time I went.

maya jones

This place was owned by a sweet older Asian gentlemen that gave great food and prices. It was called Vegan2Go then. He's gone now and has been replaced with a cheap knockoff (vegan goloca) that serves diluted barbecue sauce with veggie drumsticks. I hope a better brand comes to take over this spot again, I'm not coming back here I until then. It was a terrible disappointment.

Arken Ultor

I am not a vegan and I still thought this place was pretty good. Healthy and tasty food and very friendly service. But the curry with rice felt like a total rip off, 10 cents worth of rice and some bland soup.

Yaswanth Naraharisetti

Food that they serve here is frozen. All the curries that we ordered looked and tasted similar. Wish We had gone to a different Indian restaurant.

Jill Manis

Really great vegan food! I wish this place was downtown so I could go more often. The only drawback is that it’s pretty far out by the mall. It seems to be family-owned and everyone who worked there was sweet and asked if we liked our food. They have some good alternatives for traditionally meat-based dishes.

Morris Sherman

Great spot for vegetarian/vegan indian food. Quick service.

puneet sharma

Very good Indian vegetarian food with lots of items. The staff is courteous and friendly. Their Gobi Manchurian, chola Puri and masala tea are awesome.

Krishna Rose

This is THE best Indian meal I have eaten in 20 years. I spent alot of time in India in my youth, and this home style cooking by husband and wife duo, is the bomb. It's like real homemade Indian cooking, cooked by my Grandma's chefs. 100% vegetarian you can order anything without onions and garlic, or gluten. They are very helpful and will bend to your every desire. Wonderful people, perfect service - only suggestion would be to serve on real plates with real cutlery - no one likes plastic and styrofoam. Otherwise - perfect.

Justin Horn

This is the place to go to make a good day even better. Philly Cheez was hot and cheezy! Need something a little sweeter? Try the Teriyaki Chickun sandwich with veggies. There’s even Mac and Cheez and Chickun nuggets for the little ones.

Emanuel Hernandez

My first time here and I'm absolutely sold. Food is amazing. Just had the curried sweet potato/w kale and it was awesome. The philly sub was delicious. In the words of Arnold " I'll be Back".

Amar Vajja

Was a 40 minute drive to get here, great customer service and the food was great, definitely would come but must return to Dallas

Cheryl Winter

Vegan Terriaki was fantastic on special on Thursday!

Evan Davis

Fantastically wonderful Indian food. Flavors are brilliant and rich. The young man who was working the register was very courteous and helpful. Everything is vegetarian or vegan it is my NEW FAVORITE PLACE!

BORN OCEAN

Best in town . Authentic taste

Xyz Zyx

I'm a meat eater mostly. My first time experience eating vegan food at vegan 2 go, is memorable. It's actually really better than I expected it to be. I actually ate every single bite. I'm going back today to get Some more!! Try it out for yourself, you'll be hooked on it.

Laura Walsh

A lot of change has taken place since new management has occurred. It is a slow but necessary process. The mock chicken has upd its game like crazy

Punam Bhakta

Traveling on the road and wanted some DOSA. This was the only open restaurant and IT IS DELICIOUS!! great food and friendly staff!!! Seems everything is made fresh and fast service! I definitely recommend this place.

Reema Dsouza

I thank the person who recommended this place to me. If you are passing by and need a good healthy home cooked meal, this would be the right place. Loved their food and hospitality. The owner and the staff were a sweet small family with humble gesture and kindness. Must visit if you are around.

Charles Kibert

This is a truly amazing Indian restaurant with some of the most interesting, tasty and creative dishes. Try the Pani Puri appetizer, hollow pastries you can fill with delicious beans and spices such as mint juice. We shall return, many times!

Nimisha Dabhi-Armas

Very small place but amazing food. Loved it.

Hans Havlik

Great place to grab a delicious vegetarian or vegan meal. The location is a bit small for dining in but I've always found their vegan menu most excellent.

Mark Napier

Great food and very kind people. Ate outside and it was beautiful and very relaxing. Great curry and the Naan is good...not just some heated pita bread

Canumalla Anirudh

The food is great. Lot of vegetarian options. But there are long wait times. Can't blame them. Looks like a very few people are managing every task. Ordering over call is convenient though. So overall a great job.

Samarth Bhatt

Excellent Food! Friendly Staff!

rajesh kedarisetti

Best Vegetarian food in Gainesville.

Rachel H.

Tasty food and such nice people!

Peter Zeck

Love this little Bistro..... People friendly, clean atmosphere.... Food predictably Good!

Fiona Williams

Food is lovely, no additional protein offered so great for the non meat eaters. Bit pricey for the area and restaurant setting

Donna Bahil

I have enjoyed all the wonderful food and flavors that Vegan2Go offers. I love the food and the different items on the menu. Soups are so flavorful and the quinoa salad is amazing. The only thing is trying to decide what to try next!!! Love this place and will continue to order my food from there. Congratulations Michael on a wonderful restaurant!! Keep up the good work!!!

Alexey Sorokin

Great food and good service.

Dawn Lauryn

The soups and vegan mock chicken are fantastic. Would boost to 5 stars if there were more vegetable options. Still, great place and wonderful owner:)

Nisim Bennun

Almost 10 bucks for a couple of pieces of potatoes with few peas in a curry take away. Never felt more ripped off by a food dump...

Sridhar Mandalapu

Not a sit in place for sure, inside was hot due to kitchen heat and outside chairs were super uncomfortable, picnic tables for kids. Food was greasy, and very bland, no salt and no spice, if you ask me for spice level I expect it to be spicy. People that like to try curries without the heat level will probably like it. Chaas ( buttermilk) was salty and Mango lassi tasted more like Mango juice than lassi. Definitely not going back.

Richard Rooney

Excellent food with great staff and great service. They greet us with a smile and remember our names every time we visit. Highly recommended.

Jay Patel

Cuisine so delicious that it leaves you in awe

Bryan Bissell

This restaurant is small, but has very tasty Indian food...including probably the richest and most delicious Mango Lassi I have ever had! They also have Masala Dosai which is hard to find at most Indian restaurant, but which I got to like while in Singapore. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended restaurant!

Mrkanda Fitch

Great Tasting and Filling Dishes! Lots of interesting variety! Delicious vegan sweets, soups, sandwiches, and savories! Love the Staff! They're just like family

Santiago Sanchez

Always liked the place but the new management is bringing new dish ideas! Their chef is also top notch and has years of experience in restaurants. I got a chance to speak to him on one of my visits. If you have a chance, ask them to have Samba (the cook) recommend something to you.

Christopher Lomelin

I used to frequent Vegan 2 Go before they changed their name to Vegan to Goloka. The prices were affordable, portions were large, and the staff was friendly. While you sometimes had to wait around thirty minutes for your food, overall it was worth it. All of this has changed with the rebranding. Be prepared to wait--it took ten minutes before anyone even took our order and we waited an additional forty-five minutes before our food was ready. Portions are laughably small, now. Nearly $10 for what amounts to a handful of rice noodles and what was likely less than 3 ounces of protein. The portions were not only small, but the food itself was not at all flavorful. Truly a disappointing experience.

Carol Carson

Everything was delicious and fresh tasting.

Shan K

Great food. Tasty. Little congested to sit and eat. Try it.

Karen Zetrouer

Great food! Nice staff. This is one of our favorite lunch spots.

Emily Martin

I have really enjoyed the recent updates to the restaurant decor and the food. Just took friends from out of town to this place and it was the best food of our visit. Thanks for the awesome options! My favorite items are the cookies and the mac.

ernie Azucey

Pretty great food, I love this place. Make sure to try the fries, and the burger.

Bob Davey

Very impressed with the food at Mint. Absolutely delicious palak paneer, matar paneer, and samosas. Fairly high prices, but a big serving of food when getting the large entrees. Very friendly and helpful service, we were walked through the menu (no pictures or descriptions yet) by the very helpful server. Will definitely visit again

Joel Davenport

Authentic Indian Cuisine! Great service! Many vegan options!

Mark Rubins

Wonderful and delicious Indian vegetarian food and friendly staff. Can be busy during dinner with limited seating.. so consider take-out or call ahead.

Suren Muvva

A passable indian gujarati eatary while driving to/from Orlando. Vegetarian food only. Tried their Chana dal and rajma (red beans) curry. We requested no butter , no cream and less oil. Chapati's are hot and delicious.

Michael Retherford

Great little place, terrible location unfortunately. Food is cheap and good though.

Allen DeLaney

My first time eating there and was very good. I'll definitely be back.

G D

100% vegetarian with lots of vegan options. Heaven on earth ? Almost.

Tammy D

Amazing! Always fresh, quick, friendly service. Right off the interstate when you are passing through. They never disappoint!

Marc Mt

If youre traveling on I 75 this vegan spot is less than a mile off the interstate when gping through Gainesville. Portions generous and staff is nice. Curry is great. not a ton of seating but otherwise very good experience.

Dale Walker

We had the fried rice and the curry dish. Both were delicious. Spices are prominant like in Indian cuisine. This is vegan done properly with plenty of protein.

Rachel Rose Rotz

Good option for vegans and vegetarians passing through. The restaurant is not 100% vegan, but they have many vegan options and can accommodate pretty much any request. Food was good.

Dee S

My love was in the hospital and I had little time to get home and back to him I decided to get my 'first time' Indian meal. Sounded like a interesting change and time saving to boot. I found smiles from everyone, they gave me help understanding the menu,(All new to me) I was given more than I ordered...warmth, kindness, and even a meal larger than ordered... On purpose!! I'm guessing... he was the boss, he came out and patted my back. He had know idea how truly in need I was! Well.. I hurried back to the hospital food in hand. Warmed it up and everyone kept. saying "Where's that wonderful smell coming from.." All I'm saying is TRY it!!! Can't believe how Great it was! Step out of your comfort zone...Yumm Thanks agin!! I just loved it!

Mahesh Jain

Awesome food. Only suggestion is to add your menu in google so we can place To Go order before coming

Denise B. S.

Nice food , manly if you want to eat a little fast.

Raisa Ankeny

Please note a lot of these reviews are for the previous place which was called Vegan to goloka and before that Vegan to go. In my opinion, both were terrible and overpriced. I decided to give the new owners and Indian menu a shot and I was incredibly surprised. The food was delicious! I got the vegetable korma, and samosas. They gave me a free sample of naan which was delicious as well. Yes, it’s a little pricy, but most Indian restaurants have similar prices around town. Will definitely try again!

Ray Parkinson

Used to be supreme. Gradually diminished in quality. Within the same order, there was hair in my food, and I noticed my food was of a different overall quality [food was of sub-par flavour and consistency, extra salty, and overcooked]. In one setting i usually order several meals, but each order is about the same each time. I have eaten at this restaurant at least 20 times within the past 3 years. My rating has officially jumped from 5 stars since my first visit 3 years ago, to one star as of December 2017.

Smit Patel

If you want the true Indian food experience, then I would not recommend this place. We ordered pani puri, gobi manchurian, pav bhaji, and mango lassi from the appetizer menu. The pani puri was strange because traditionally, it is to be served with dry lentil and potato mix, but here they served it with "ragro" from ragra petis." The chutney/pani was not tarty like it is supposed to be. It tasted like it was made from spices directly from a pre-made box and diluted with too much water- not flavorful at all. The puri was completely made from a completely different dough. The gobi manchurian tasted like the sweet and sour chicken wings sauce. The pav bhaji was unflavorful with lots of oil and not enough spices, salt, or flavor. The bhaji was served with flattened burger buns. The mango lassi was mediocre. Be mindful that we did not order from the entrees, but I don't plan on going back.

Jenny Byrnes

I don't like to say bad things about a local business. But this time I'm bending my rules. Really disappointed. First time visit. Waited for almost 40 minutes for 2 recommended meals for take out. Watched 3 other customers walk in, order, wait, and get their food and leave within 10 minutes. Thought they'd forgotten about me, everyone went in back. Went back to the counter to see if anyone was back in the kitchen. The counter guy appears and says my food had a few minutes because they have to still make the spring roll. Then another man came out with something he put on the counter, said hello, and went to the back again. Ten more minutes go by and he brings out the food. No apologies, no smile, just nothing. Here's the kicker, since I had so much time to wait, I read alot of the stuff they had on the walls about the place. There were some really nice reviews about the place and the owner. There was even a picture of the owner in the article. It was the guy who came out and said hello. This food was expensive for two lunches and I felt unappreciated for my patronage. I went to my car, opened the boxes and was even more disappointed. The food was cold, and bland. My friend said to me "the owner was there, why didn't you say something to him? "...exactly...the owner was there...why should I point out the obvious problems if he doesn't see it himself? Not worth giving it a second chance.

Pamela Jackson

Tiny little place packed with a ton of flavor. All selections are vegetarian, but there are plenty of dishes to choose from.

Erin O'Marrah

Very yummy. Just moved her 3 weeks ago and have eaten here 6xs

Phil Ventura

Pakora was merely hush puppies with some herbs. Mater Paneer was low on flavor. Garlic naan was the weirdest naan I've ever had. It was more like a kulcha.

Alex cook

I really love this place!!! It's my fav place to go and eat, place is little and I love it like that,it's peaceful and it's never crowded, the food is amazing!! And the peoples nice, thank you!!

Tina Heifort

Like this place but when you say mild, it should not be so hot it chokes you, lol.

Lynda Perry

I ate here tonight with my daughter and loved it! David, whom I believe is the owner was very pleasant and helpful. I am not a vegan but I am trying to eat better and I am so happy to have this restaurant as an option, I am looking forward to my next visit.

TOM CARBONE

Great food! Owner is an awesome guy! Whomsoever didn't like the chicken didn't know what they were talking about. It was very tasty. BTW I am a real meat eater and enjoyed everything!

Isis Lee

The food is absolutely delicious

Nikhil Shah

There is FINALLY an Indian restaurant in Gainesville that I can recommend to my friends. This is a fantastic place where the food tastes like it was home cooked and is very flavorful without being heavy like it is at the other places in town. The menu has a remarkable number of items (all vegetarian), many of which are traditional dishes not served in restaurants in Gainesville or even around the country. Lastly, the owner Ashok was extremely friendly and hospitable. My wife and I loved the food, and will definitely be coming back a lot.

Harrison Drake

My wife and I usually go to ocala for Indian food because we haven't liked the choices in Gainesville but we were pleasantly surprised with this place. Worth checking out!

Khar L.N.

Good place for indian homele food.

Nirali Patel

Very Nice food and People

Parthik Dalsania

Pav bhaji was excellent, I had asked for spicy and it spicy as per my preference. This is completely vegetarian restaurant. It has many other Indian food choices, which I have never seen at any other Indian restaurant. Owner/employee was very polite and happy to serve. They also have outside sitting.

Joel Helms

Truly authentic cuisine, tasty tea, and delicious food.

ellivro thomas

Vegan lovers need to make the drive here no matter where you may be coming from. It's worth the drive.

Jake Schwarzmeier

Food is good, you might wait a while even when not busy.

Nadiya Samanich

Super yummy and amazing.

Joseph Pallotta

Excellent food by far service was great as always even though it was crowded we were served quickly and flawlessly thanks again for your great service and great food we will see you soon

Cathy Dilena

went on a Sunday, menu totally difft than what's posted here. I ordered appetizers and one entree that came with a savory, a bit hot, sauce. almost soup like, would be delicious over rice. very authentic tasting, and different than the other restaurants serving Indian fare. It was like eating a friend's mom's home cooking. will definitely return, many entrees I've never had before--difft part of India I guess. not much on atmosphere, but the dinner would be twice as much in the northeast or even Amrit Ocala

Stephen Jesudason

Home style cooking

alexis belgrave

Me and my boyfriend stopped at this exit to eat and get gas on a road trip and as soon as I saw vegan I had to go. Even though it is a restaurant you have to go in they were hella fast. From the time we ordered it was only about 3-5 minutes to get our food out. I really liked the vegan chick 'n and their spring rolls. My boyfriend loved the rice. If traveling again we know which exit to stop at! Thanks for the awesome service :)

Amanda Bryant

Excellent service, food and prices! The Philly "cheese steak" is to die for, the spring rolls are as well. My daughter loves the Mac and "cheese". All around great experience. I live 30 minutes away and would totally make the drive just to get lunch!

Prahlad Griffith

Loved the good food! The salad with almond sauce and organic sprouted tofu was awesome! Friendly staff too.

gabbie doe

I was really excited to eat here, but both times I’ve gone the food has been terrible. The first one it was tasteless and bland and this last time it was incredibly disgusting. I paid 14$ for a dish my husband and I both tried and promptly threw away. Similarly, both times took about 40 minutes to prepare my food, and it was just one meal. The people are nice, but the food, prices, and time are really bad.

Joseph Martin

Surprisingly good for vegan food. A friend of mine brought me here and I really enjoyed the meal I had.

Grilled chez sandwich and tomato soup the best ever. Tai tea added came to $17 but the crispy bread and vegan chez was worth it. Still craving a re-run... Every time we visit from NC we won't miss a delicious meal. Very friendly staff too. Don't let the small location fool you. Step inside and enjoy the chef's creations. Yummy!

Food is good. Naan is average, nothing special. Spice is a hit or miss. Customer service is nonexistent. Just got charged $2 for a side most restaurants hand out for free.

Best vegan food. Best see service. Love this place.
