Generous portions, good variety of entrees and sides, simply-prepared and fairly priced. What it lacks in ambience it more than makes up for in flavor. Food comes out quickly and the shortbread cookies at the register are so good they should be scheduled by the DEA.

Today 3/23 my wife & I just began eating lunch at the Kissimmee La Granja. All off the sudden a cockroach came flying and landed on my wife fodd. My wife screamed, she is afraid of pests. I called the lady cleaning the tables & showed her the roach. To my surprise, she said "oh, that's only a little flying roach, no big deal". I called tha manager and showed the roach eating in my wife's plate. My biggest surprise was his reation, he also thinks that's not a big deal claming there are no roaches in his place. I asked for my money back and pledged not to return ever. The staff working at that place has a very low health standart.

We were directed to go here by one of the local people and IT WAS GREAT! A friendly staff that helped us and the food....!!! Simply wonderful! The portion size was more than enough and the cost was very affordable. Two of us ate with beverages and spent $22.80 total! The price of a single entree at other places. We are recommending anyone who has not tried Peruvian food to get here quick!

I have had La Granja since 2004 in Palm Beach County. It's nice that there is one in town. I like it, however is not gourmet and don't expect so for the price. The rice taste good, chicken is average but the sauces are addictive and I think that is what is beneficial for this business.

This restaurant made me feel like being back in Peru. They offer a great variety of meals, the most common peruvian dishes and seafood. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable about dishes. Prices are reasonable. For first-time visitors I recommend "Lomo Saltado".

Poor management. Rude staff. They will hang up the phone on you and serve your delivery oily and watery. Half the items are forgotten. General manager screamed at me and lied about my entire order being wrong.

If I could rate LESS than one star, I would. Me, my husband, and our 2 year old daughter went into this restaurant, waited in the line, then got up to the register finally. While we were there, we attempted to order our food while a thousand other people kept cutting me off mid sentence to ask the lady behind the register questions. So we ordered our food, gave the lady our debit card, and waited 10 minutes before she handed it back because she was talking to everyone else around us! So we sat down while we waited for her to stop talking to everyone and she approached us with our card at the table and said it was declined. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I had more than $6,000 in my account so I attempted to explain that there’s no possible way it was declined but there was a language barrier so all she kept saying was “it’s ok, it’s ok” and then she left us alone. But we continued to sit while we called my bank and our buzzer started going off because the food we ordered was ready so we got the food thinking they gave it to us for free but mid way thru feeding our daughter her meal, a different woman and a male worker approached us and said our card was declined so we HAVE to pay for our meal right NOW. I said no problem, go run my card again because there’s nothing with it and they told me no they can’t because their system is down. So it wasn’t that my card was declined, it was that their system was down. So I couldn’t pay with my card but that’s all I had, no cash. They said I HAVE TO PAY NOW and by that time, they were saying it so loud and firm that I was HIGHLY embarrassed. I told them again that I only have a card and what did they expect me to do. So they pointed across the street and TOLD me to go get cash from the bank atm across the street. I told them they’re being ridiculous and they are embarrassing my family. They said sorry but I have to pay so I was forced to get up and do a walk of shame in front of everyone who overheard the conversation to go get cash in the MIDDLE of our meal. They told my husband to stay in the restaurant with my daughter as if we’d run off on the check!! I WAS MORTIFIED AND I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. ******EDITING IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE******* I do NOT accept your apology, the way this restaurant is ran is RIDICULOUS and embarrassing! I will never eat at this establishment again and I hated your employees ethics and nasty attitudes. IF YOUR MACHINES ARENT WORKING THEN TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT AT THE REGISTER AND DONT EMBARRASS THEM IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT!!!! What fools.

The food was good but the washroom thrashed and also when the bill came the price was different to that printed in the menu. When I queried the bill, the head waitress shouted at my waitress in Spanish and told her that she would have to make up the shortfall of I didn't pay it in full which made her cry. I placed a to-go order. The food is soooooo good. I can’t deny it. What’s even better is the reasonable price. This was the first time and I’m impressed with the flavors and portion size. Only four stars because the staff was not friendly and the price was different from the menu when I ordered one of the items which I only realized after paying. The staff should Smile a little!!! Otherwise you should definitely try the food.

Very good service in a great location. I love it here because I can practice my Spanish. Lots of food per plate for decent price. Lunch is cheaper than dinner but it is still enough for a day or two worth of leftovers. The sauteed Chicken was really delicious.

First time I ate here and I'm a fan! I got the fish sandwich to go it's Grouper and the red onion and peppers topping on it was so delicious with their homemade tarter sauce. Really great fries also. $7.99 can't beat that! But watch out for the .50 cent charges for sauces (tarter, mayoketchup, etc.).

The amount of food received was a great surprise. We've had the steak and chicken fried rice and it was very good. I like the steak a little more. I would give 5 stars but the first time we ordered my husband asked for white meat for his half chicken meal and when we got home it was dark meat. He loves white meat so that was a little disappointing. I wish they had more options for rice instead of just white rice with beans. I love Spanish yellow rice. Other than that everything has been very good so far.

This place wowed me! I assumed right away it was another fast food Spanish food place. But was i wrong. Food is to die for literally, done fast and always taste so good! I visited Last Granja Restaurant (hwy 92 in Kissimmee FL.) on Easter Sun. 2019 first thing first, there was plenty of parking, that's a plus! Upon entering I could only get about 2 steps in the front door because the place was packed! The line was practically out the door, but, nobody was leaving! Could the service and food be THAT good? The atmosphere was lively, many families enjoying dinner and conversation. There are helpful colorful pictures of menu items mounted around the interior of the restaurant to help you decide what you want to order BEFORE you actually get to the ordering station (smart idea!) Many restaurants should adopt this idea so people don't feel stupid when they get to the register, squinting to see the fine print menu on the wall. You could see the workers busy cooking meals in the background which, in my opinion, adds to the excitement of eating out. I ordered the "Seafood Fried Rice" with a side of fries. The portion sizes here are generous and my food was fantastic! There are items on the menu/ walls (LOL!) for everyone, burgers, chicken, rice & beans and all your favorite Spanish favorites. The only downsides I noticed here was the girl who took our order at the register (you order your own food) she had a little attitude maybe because it WAS extremely busy and I don't speak Spanish but STILL, I'm a paying customer, contributing to YOUR paycheck, give me a damn smile and don't screw my order up please! IMO, it doesn't matter if you THINK you're cute, if you're in DIRECT CONTACT with customers in a restaurant and all you can do is dish out ignorance with no personality, give up your register and walk your little sassy @$$ in the back and help flip some chickens or make some fries! She got my wife's order wrong, however, one of the other ladies (mgr. maybe) quickly fixed the problem and had the workers put together the right order within seconds! You have to listen for your order number to be called, this was a little difficult due to the faulty microphone and low volume. Despite "lil Miss attitude", and having to use my "bionic ear" the food was fantastic and I would actually go back! The food actually outshined the negatives here! Now if you enjoy eating and have a little tummy down there (like me) you may not want to sit in one of the small booths which tends to keep your swallowed food from dropping into it's intended destination!

Recently I was invited to taste the flavor and seasoning of Peru at La Granja. Peru food 1st impression: "gladly to remember, I was quietly well impressed". This food is fabulous! The food taste it's delicious, well seasoned, and we were served on time record. Prices are great, it was that good that we decided to return just the next day. My party of 5 chose to visit this restaurant on our lunch break. You would expect they would know how to handle a rush, given the fact they’re located downtown. However, they were unprepared, the tables were not clean, there was even food on the floor and no one to clean it up. This is my first and last time visiting this establishment! The cashiers even extremely rude and unprofessional. When they incorrectly billed my friend for the wrong menu item, they told her they could not fix it and she should’ve spoken clearly when she placed the order. The nerve!! Do not patronize this horrible restaurant!

I love the food here! It's my favorite restaurant! The staff already know me by my name! That's lovely! I've been coming to La Granja restaurant Downtown location since they opened and once I tried their food and their service I don't want to change for anything else! My husband always ask where you want to go? when dinning out and I always say La Granja restaurant Downtown and he laughs saying I knew it! Sometimes he suggests other places but I always say: I prefer La Granja restaurant Downtown because I already have the cravings for that tasty fresh delicious food they serve there! I really recommend this place is you like or want to try Latin food that's not too greasy or too heavy on the spices like Cuban or some other Latin food. This is more on the fresh healthier side. My favorite is the rotisserie chicken is you're a big eater I suggest to go for the half chicken instead of the quarter. The seafood is also delicious! They have 2 types, one with cream/cheese and one withput. The whole fried fish (snapper) is also good, my husband's favorite is the sautee beef (lomito saltado) also, really good! The mixed fried rice (arroz chaufa) omg! Fantastic! Just come and see for yourself!

Although the one meal I got to have was excellent, the service was the worst I have ever had. Took forever to be helped and when we ordered the waiter had had to restate and question the three items we ordered about five times. A half hour of waiting for just our appetizer, waiter came over to tell us our food would just come all out at once and 20 min later it was just the appetizer and one meal together. The waiter claimed I never ordered my meal when I ordered it I saw him write it down and had to say it five times to him... Took the waiter 15 min just to give us our change back too. Truly dreadful experience.

We and our friends had a great time here. Our supper exceeds the top floor. Part is huge - we are quite full after appetizing crab legs. The main dishes are delicious and perfect cooking. However, the price also topped the list. If you need to check the price on the menu, please do not come here.

I always get the steak lomo saltiado, if you've never tried it you can't go in living without trying it. it's hard for me to want to order anything else and it's super filling. I told myself I wouldn't eat it all but couldn't stop eating. I got the half chicken meal and my traveling partner had the boneless chicken breast for our entree. We got the appetizer with the sausage, popcorn chicken and yucca... SO GOOD! The sangria was also a pleasant surprise.

Met up with a friend of mine who is in the Air Force. He previously lived in Peru for many years and we wanted to see what the food was like. While not all of it was traditional Peruvian food, they did have a good amount of options. For the price, they give you a really good size portion and we got of food fresh and steaming hot and it tasted delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try some tasty Peruvian food.

Very delicious flavoring of food. I had steak with shrimp and scallops along with fried yuca and sweet plantains. My girlfriend had fried snapper, fish, that was very tasty. La Granja is usually my go to lunch spot. Delicious chicken always ready by the time I arrive and the staff though not friendly but I guess cordial. Today’s visit was horrible. The lady behind me was taken care of BEFORE me. Then when I asked the cashier for the name of the employee who did this along with hers she refused to help me. As I am talking to the Manager about it she keeps interrupting me. I wasn’t even complaining about her. All in front of every single guest in line. Not sure if I will be back if these are the employees they are hiring now.

This granja was AMAZING!!! It was packed! The beans were the most delicious beans ive ever had. Everything was flavorful and just as order. We did have to wait fornone of the plates in the order but it was totally worth it!!! Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family!

This particular restaurant is located in the business district in Miami. Lunch time during weekdays can be very busy with local customers and tourists. Service was fast (under 30 mins) and food was really good. Price as well was reasonable. Don't know if this is a franchise restaurant or not but I've seen a few of them in Miami. Needless to say, most of our lunches while in Miami were at LA Granja (different locations, same menu and quality of service).

Would give no stars if possible! Girl at the register was rude, rolling eyes, acted like I was bothering her. I commented about the bad service and already included tip..at the end of my meal I found a rock hard chewed up piece of gum/taffy. Who knows what else the did to my food? Will NEVER return and I will tell my friends about MY experience and let them decide to go for themselves!

The food is good but doesn’t worth it. I paid 30.58 for 2 plates, it was a lot of food in both dishes but I wouldn’t pay again this much for this kind of rapid food places. In the board says one price and they charged me more so they should fix that or I could think that is false publicity. In general good food but too expensive, I don’t think that I will come back.

If you want food that will fill you up and then some, this is the place. It's a big place where you walk up to the counter and order food, grab a table and then eat. They have fish, pork, chicken, and steak entrees so there's plenty to choose from. They also have specialty drinks, desserts and sauces for your meal! With the menu, you pay exactly for what you're getting! If you have a "small stomach", one meal can leave you leftovers for the next day! If you have a black hole for a stomach, like me, one meal with dessert and a drink will make you feel like Snorlax from Pokémon and just want to take a nap for the satisfaction in your belly! Definitely worthwhile with family, friends, or yourself! Be warned, is really good so it does get busy often! Don't let that deter you though. Longest I've waited was ten minutes and the line was pretty long.

Simply horrible. I honestly don’t understand why overall has good reviews. We ordered the chicken rotisserie with beans and rice. Side order of fries, beef fried rice and pesto spaghetti with steak. For starters the chicken was soooo dry. It almost felt like someone reheated an old fried chicken. The hot sauce tasted stale. The onions on the salad tasted horrible, definitely not fresh. I will never, ever, come here again. I am Peruvian and know how a good chicken taste like and for sure know what quality food looks like....sorry...just very disappointed. I should have spent my $70 at Golden Corral.

The food did not have much flavor....they left the tails on shrimp, the scallops could hardly be seen much taste..the grilled steak was lousy...no salad dressings except for a lousy tasting ranch...all the sauce at the station were only with onion, enough with the onion already... The guests are loud, the children are allowed to put the bottles of sauce in their mouth. While you are trying to eat they use a bleach type based product, the smell was horrendous. At least it had more smell than the food! The sabor of the food was bad.

Food was tasty. But i was told by an employee i had to leave my kick scooter outside. Inconsistent as there was another kick scooter leaning on a table of a couple eating. Worried about my own electric scooter could get stolen i asked the employee if she could bring my food outside when ready, and she said yes. I waited and waited and she never came out withmy food. So, i rushed in to ask if my food was ready and she said to the CDC workers, she's here and she handed me my food.
