I have been their customers for more than seven years and have never been disappointed. One of the onwers once told me that about 80% of their dishes are cooked in their brick oven. The taste of their food is magnificent and the price is very reasonable! I highly recommend La Fontana!

Wonderful service and delicious food, you really can’t ask for more. The gentleman who served us was lovely and provided for a lovely dining experience. The food- from appetizer (honey drizzled brie..YUM) to our main courses and dessert were excellent. We will certainly return!

The desert here is amazing truly! As well as the service. It always seems to be the same server all the time and he recognizes my order even though I don’t go there that frequently. Only one star lost because the food does take a while to come, not sure if under staffed but the server is very nice and it’s really no rush because there’s a nice view of the fountain and the outside patio. I wouldn’t go there if I’m starving though

Hello, Although your food is delicious and the ambiance was great – there were a few things that need improvement. This is just constructive criticism and not to get anybody in trouble. But recently a group of friends and myself went there. It was my first time there. And: 1) My friend’s fish was undercooked a little 2) That same friend ordered octopus but instead cod was put in its place – without even informing him and WITHOUT reducing the price. 3) Our waiter rolled their eyes when we asked if we can have the bills divided. Perhaps waiters should be taught - when taking an order - especially if it is NOT a family - to ask, "will this be together or separate checks?" 4) I tried to treat several other friends I ran into that were inside the restaurant as a surprise and as a nice gesture but he also said he was unable to do that cause they had a different waiter. i thought they were going to ask the other waiter but I guess they forgot. 5) The pictures of the desert was different from the desert we actually got. One desert (in real life) had only one scoop of ice cream when it clearly showed 3 scoops in the picture Our waiter apologized as we were about to leave and we forgive him. That's why I give it three stars because maybe they realized they could have been better. . Like I said, just some constructive advice. I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I hope these things get corrected. Perhaps the waiter just had a bad day and took it out on us.

I've been going to La Fontana for a couple of years and have loved it and recommended it to friends as it's always been amazing. However, went last week and ordered seafood and vegetables. It was one of the worst meals I've ever experienced. The quality was terrible, the fish was "fishy". Fresh fish should never be fishy. And vegetables were so dry, they were inedible. It was really embarrassing as I took someone there for the first time and I had raved so much about this restaurant. I don't know if they changed the chef or have changed the quality of the food they purchase. Unfortunately, this went from being one of my favorite restaurants to now being taken off a list of options. Do not recommend.

I'm not sure if it was a bad day for this restaurant (based on all of the reviews I was thinking it would have been a lovely experience). However, the food was subpar, and the waiter took about 8 minutes to greet us after sitting. The food came out in a timely fashion but our waiter never came to check on us after receiving our entree. He also seemed to have completely disappeared for more than 15 minutes while we were sitting there after finishing our meals. After he dropped off our food, we never saw him again. Eventually another waiter came by and took our plates and we asked for the check. Despite the lacking service, the food really was very basic. I have no interest to return.

Very friendly owners, always come out to greet you. Food is authentic, delicious and fresh. Everything is done and prepared with love. Visit and try for yourself. To my taste and knowledge of what a true italian food is, it is a 10, not a modification or chain restaurant food. Great location.

I haven't been to La Fontana in a very long time considering I live more than 2 hours drive from the place but this gem of a place is always worth the drive, believe me. Of all the places owned by Italians in South Florida, nothing is as authentic and with food so delicious. It's also pleasantly casual and affordable. Don't forget to try the pizza which is truly wow.

We'd driven by for several months and finally remembered we wanted to try La Fontana last night. We are really glad we did. Everything we ordered was nicely, if not beautifully presented. The restaurant is modest. Every dish we had was at least good, if not fantastic. We'll be looking forward to going back!

I've been eating here for years with my wife. Very good authentic Italian cuisine and the BEST pizza you can find in South FL while still very affordable. Authentic northern Italian style wood fired pizza. I just picked up a 10inch cheese for $8. The owners are often making pizza and helping their staff which says a lot about business owners. Also serve homemade gelato. Stop in and give it a try. You will NOT be disappointed!!! ~a very satisfied long time customer

Amazing food and great service! The owners (Toni & Spartaco), along with the entire staff go out of their way to make eating there such an enjoyable experience. They remember their customers, they treat people kindly, and that is very hard to find in South Florida. Not only is their food excellent, but it’s also homemade. The pasta is made in-house, and I always get the Ferrara pizza every visit I make. I very rarely write reviews online, so this dissertation proves how great my experiences have been. 5 stars for great food, a great atmosphere, and for owners who work hard and love what they do. I travel to Europe quite often and I have to say this was true Italian food. My phone died before I could take any pictures of my food but it was all delicious. I had the frutti di mare pizza and it was amazing. One of my favorite pizza options, so I was happy to see that they offered it. They do serve soft drinks (sodas) from the can, which was kind of different. But all in all it was a delicious dinner experience.

OMG, We've been waiting for a food spot like this in Coral Springs...and it's already been here since 2008! The environment: This is a beautiful and romantic fantasy getaway...but still a comfortable environment to wear my gym clothes, too. Such kind and pleasant employees and it's such a breath of fresh air when you have the Co-owner come over to your table every single visit to check to make sure you're enjoying your experience. P.S: we bring our English Bulldog there all the time and they offer him chicken and food -that's amazing! The food: fresh...fresh...FRESH! 5 star restaurant food for 2 star prices. The best bread & pizza I've ever had in my life! Everything is out of this world and they give great portions. Always cooked to order so don't go starving...but again the bread that they give for free is unthinkably breathtaking and could hold you over. I will continue to support this incredible small business restaurant and definitely take your significant other or the entire family for an enjoyable brunch or evening out! Thank you LA FONTANA!!! YOU ROCK! :)

Me and my boyfriend went here to try a new restraunt we havnt had yet. I ordered the chicken parm with penne and vodka sauce. The chicken was bone dry and the needing was mushy and my penne and vodka sauce had so much garlic it was bitter and almost burned in your mouth. My boyfriend got a pasta dish with shrimp mushrooms and tomatoes. First off they left the hard tails on which is odd for this dish and his pasta was way undercooked. The service was great we loved our waiter but the food here is just sub par. The free bread was also just unpleasant but it was free. The portions are normal to large.

Amazing food and great service this is our favorite and go to Italian place in the city. The owners are involved in the day to day operations and will normally greet you at the door. The meals were absolutely fantastic! From the calamari to the salad, to the pizza, this is probably the best pizzeria in the area. Unfortunately, I warn you that there is a long wait to get your food but after having a taste of your meal you would feel that it was definitely worth the wait. The pricing is also very reasonable for authentic pizza. ($12 compared to the average $17-18).

We gave this restaurant a second chance on a quiet Thursday afternoon. The service was mediocre. We didn't get water after asking for it twice. The soup took 45 minutes. The main course (pizza) took 90 minutes. The veggie lasagna was bland. The pizza was, meh. No one checked on us for a long time. There were only 8 customers. The only good part of the night was the company. We won't be back.

Loved the restaurant, and they treated us like we were just another member of the family! My friend and I both had an individual pizza, and they were absolutely incredible! I had a cheese with sun dried tomatoes and drizzles of pesto that was incredible, and my friend had the special that featured a liberal helping of prosciutto. Afterwards my friend ordered a cheesecake, but the owner invited us to try a generous sample of another dessert as well, that was absolutely incredible! Great service, wonderful food, and the feeling that you are just one of family is hard to beat!!

This place is AMAZING!!! I believe Costumer service is the key for any business and LA FONTANA has it!!! I went last night looking for a chiken noodle soup for my husband. He went out of surgery and was starving. At 9pm the cafetria in the hospital was closed so I went out to get some chiken noodle soup. I dont know if they have this in the menu but as soon as I went in a nice guy took my order and told my the cheff it was going to do it for me. After a couple minutes a nice guy came and asked me how exactly I need my chicken noodle soup and HE DID IT!!! Not nly that he packed the soup in one of his personal conatiners but he added none plastic utensils and wish me luck with my husband at the hospital. It was 9pm, I was tired and by my self. I wish there is more business like this!! Tomorrow I will bring back his personal container and buy an icecream!!! icrecream look GOOD also in here!!
