Did the lunch buffet. Once you are seated, there is one waiter who takes care of everyone! While in some restaurants is an issue, here it isn't. he knows you just entered the place, although he's busy taking care of other people, he notices you and comes, instantly smiles and asks what you would like to drink and what soup would you like. brings it in a few mins and keeps coming to check on you, although he has a million other things. The food is delicious too, the sweet & sour, the pecan shrimp, the veggies, and those chicken wings! I normally dislike eating chicken wings at Chinese buffets, but these were surprisingly DELICIOUS! I came back twice after the first time and they keep changing the buffet items, which is awesome!

They close early sometimes. Went there at 920 and sign says open till 10. The guy says they decided to just close early. Wasted my time as I drove to go here and had no time to go anywhere else. Won't even bother trying again. Warning if you are coming in close to closing time.

The food was tasty, and they had such great service. (hot towels and fruit at the end!) We had a party of 8 and they gave us some special dishes and an extra family size bowl of rice on the house. It was such a nice, comforting ambience as well. Amazing way to end our day spent at the parks! P.S. Don't let the small front fool you. There's way more space and people inside!

We were visiting family in Orlando and wanted some good chinese food. After reading the reviews on many places, we decided to go with Kim Wu. No exaggeration, everything we ordered was delicious and the food was NOT greasy/oily at all. General Tso Chicken, Chicken & Broccoli, Veggie fried rice, etc. Even the egg rolls and wonton soup was on point!

The female waitress was upset because I declined to order soup. She slid my food off the plate when she served me and didn't clean it up, The bourbon chicken was not cut up properly, the male waiter stuck his thumb in our fried noodles then asked if we were finished with it, without any dialogue the aforementioned female waitress reached over our food to pour water in the glass and spilled water on the table and didn't clean it up. No apologies for anything from anyone. The sunlight in the dim room revealed the dingy worn-out carpet and furniture. SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND A THUMB IN YOUR FOOD

My husband and I love Asian food, and we moved here from an area that had top notch Asian restaurants. Kim Wu is the first Chinese restaurant that we had absolutely no complaints. The restaurant was beautiful inside, great atmosphere, and quiet (because everyone was too busy eating!). The service was fantastic and everyone seemed happy to be there. The food was absolutely delicious, we just wish it's been spicier. But we now know for next time! Oh, and most important, their lychee isn't ice cream, it's the actual fruit! My favorite! We can't wait to go back.

We were visiting from Atlanta and we had a craving for chinese. We found this restaurant and we were very glad we did. It was wonderful. We had dumplings and Mu Shu Beef which they made special for us. The owner came and served us table side. He was great and his daughter was our waitress and she was fabulous too. When we finished our meal and they brought us fresh cut watermelon, and hot towels to clean our hands. I definitely reccomend this place if you are looking for great chinese.

The staff is amazing! They make you feel so welcomed. The food is always fresh. I can't stress enough how friendly and warm everyone is. I wish there was a little more variety just a little but what is serve is served well and very appealing. A vegetarians paradise! You eat and don't feel so guilty. The oolong tea is the absolute best. I can sip an entire pot in a sitting. Try it you'll like it.

We were craving Chinese while on vacation. It got a lot of good reviews so we tried it. Our waiter, Scott, was great. At the end of the meal, he gave us a plate of sliced oranges and pineapple chunks, followed by a hot washcloth! Both were a pleasant surprise.We visit Orlando often and will be back again.

Been here many times. Was here a couple of weeks ago for sister's birthday. Waiter Tommy,so cheery and funny. Food prepared well. Parking a challenge because lot is always busy but worth the hike if you don't have bad knees. You can always drop people with mobility issues at the entrance.

I have been here three times in as many weeks for the lunch buffet. There are limited options, but the items offered are delicious - walnut shrimp and sesame chicken have been on the buffet each time. The best! The fried rice is quite good. You must ask the server for soup. It is not on the buffet but is included in the price. The server brings it piping hot from the kitchen. The egg drop soup is probably the best I've had. Not thick and gummy. This may be a bit more expensive than other places, but the food is top quality, the servers are attentive, and the restaurant is very clean. I believe with a soft drink, the buffet, and a generous tip I get an awesome meal for about $16. The lunch buffet is only M-F from 11:00-2:30.

This place has been around for years. Great place to eat. The owners are awesome. Monday through Friday they have this great buffet all you can eat. Nice variety. It's in the plaza on the corner of Kirkman and Conroy Windermere. Buffet ends at 2. If you've never been...it's a must try. I highly recommended It I have been going there for years.

I love the buffet here. It doesn't have the mass selection, sushi or Hibachi that some others may boast, but they make a limited number of dishes well, and provide exceptional service. The food is very fresh, hot and delicious. Their fried rice is perfect, not old or dried out, undercooked, no, it is hot, tender and wonderful. I give it a 9 on the scales for quality, hosting and taste.

Excellent Chinese food! We were visiting Orlando and I am glad we stopped here for food. We ordered to go and it took about 20-30 min to get our food, but it was so worth it. We each got one of the combinations and this meal was enough for at lease 2-3 people! The food was delicious - the duck sauce is homemade and the sesame chicken had a unique flavor too. I hope this place is still here when we come back in a few years.

For the prices, this is a great Chinese food restaurant. The service is very solid, the selection is good as well, but it's the little things that put them above the rest. They have a very clean glass over table cloth approach to each table (not original, but smart), the decor is not gaudy, but everything matches unlike so many. After ordering, they start you with fried wontons to Minch on. The service trays and plates used are more than a plain, uncovered plate. Covered pedestal dishes are used for rice and your entre items. After your entre you get a light fruit tray to finish up with. Then, before your check, you receive a steamed towel to wipe your hands. At this price point, no one else does half of this. Great job guys, and thank you.

The best Chinese food around universal studio. Went here the first one back on Jan/Feb., And boy did we glad we stumble upon this little gem. We come from LA where the Chinese restaurant is sprawling everywhere and yet I'm still impressed by this place. My family is pretty picky too when it comes from Chinese food (it's pretty much our staple food). Food is good though I can't say how authentic it is. We order beef and Chinese brocolli , which is pretty ok. And the walnut shrimp (with mayonnaise) is great. But I know that if in around the area again and craving for some Chinese food, this will be the place I go to.

High Price! Good traditional Chinese food. Price is $5 higher per entree than other Chinese restaurants with the same amount of food. So there are not many people would eat there. I have eaten American Chinese, New York Style Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Hong Kong Cuisine from all over the USA and in Asia. I was unimpressed with the food here. It was take out American Style Chinese at best. I was very disappointed with it. The portions were take.out restaurant size and overpriced. Yes, the pictures I uploaded will look delicious but it was a melancholy meal.

Also - I appreciate everyone in America tips - this is fine, but we should choose our tip % based on quality of food and service. The bill comes out with the tip included already, I don’t think this is fair as my tip would have been based on the waitress (good) and the food (poor). Not an assumed 18%

Got the order wrong twice in a row for take out. They corrected the order the next day but quality isn’t there anymore. This place used to be our go to for Chinese food. We loved it and even though I thought it was a little more expensive it was certainly worth it!! Not anymore though. I don’t know what’s happened recently but we are very disappointed- will have to find another place for Chinese food going forward.

Carryout, I've done this a few times in the last 3 or 4 years as I've tried to avoid the drive to Mills Ave. But 40 bucks or more for 2 to eat and have to beg for Hot Mustard, this is my last stop. Also the lady that is taking payment, It's a shame you work here but I didn't ask you to do me a favor and take my payment it's just apart of this transaction. I won't put you though this process again.

Great find. We stopped in here for lunch on our way trough town. We were pleasantly surprised to find some really good, authentic Chinese food. You do need to ask for the authentic menu. I ate thier yesterday. Came from Chicago.The owner Tom was really nice and respectful. The food was really good was impress good portion of food.

Not nearly as good as normal. Normally we have a male server that makes the entire visit AMAZING. Today we got a female server that just didn't have her head in the game at all. Ordered hot and sour soup and never served it. Brought a tiny bowl of their wonton crisps that they start each service with. There were 3 of us so had to keep asking for more. She kept taking things away from the table that we weren't finished with. Had to ask for refills on drinks. Ordered teriyaki skewers that were so tough to eat. Brought the hot towels they normally deliver at the very end of the meal when she delivered the meal, needless to say they were cold by the time lunch was over. Had to send her back 4 times to get carryout containers. She can see what is leftover, estimate and bring enough the first time. She asked if we "wanted" the fruit they always deliver after the meal. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know and frequently bring out of town friends and family to experience Kim Wu. I will definitely be back but learned my lesson to ask for my usual top notch server. Today was just so disappointing.

Excellent quality. Exceptional service. Astounding value! A small buffet allows them to focus in on the details. The soups are stellar, the tea is elegant... even the fortune cookies are higher in quality than most places. A wonderful place. If you must buffet, Kim Wu wins!!!!

I’m from out of town and I normally don’t leave a bad review, however this place blew me out of the water, and not in a good way. Prices are ungodly. Very slow service. We checked the reviews before coming and feel like it was not represented very well. We thought it was a buffet however NOT the case atleast at the time we went.
