This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Irish restaurant.
Good food, great staff, nice atmosphere. Mixed vibes but all positive. Took the kids here after Comic Con.
I very much enjoy their dishes and service, excellent area nearby to where I live. The cashiers are always super nice. Highly recommended.
Price 5 stars Wings 5 stars Shepherd Pie 5 stars Service 4 stars closer to three. The Assigned table was dirty and we were given drinks without a straw. The wait staff overall seemed overwhelmed. So if you are looking for great food and don't mind service with some issues. This is your place
Cheapest bars in Manhattan. Which Manhattan? New York City.
Good bar. Food is ok.
Standard Irish pub, friendly staff and friendlier clientele
great place for cocktails and food
Always good, food is great and prices are very decent for Manhattan.
Great service, good crowd and food was brilliant.
Good lunch specials and reasonably priced. Traditional pub fare, this is a great spot if you work in the area.
Burgers: grrrrreat Service: A+ Setting:. Good music, warm and cozy, upstairs preferred
Excellent spot for lunch! I am sure this is a good spot to try out anytime, but the $10 lunch special is great! I had the burger and salad. The salad was really nice with spinach and some other spring greens, cherry toms, cucumbers, and a few slices of bell pepper. It was topped off by a very nice Italian vinaigrette. The burger was delicious! Nice portion of tasty beef, cheddar cheese, large slice of tomato, fresh onion, lettuce, and some caramelized onions, all on a yummy brioche bun. Terrific! The service was okay, very friendly but also busy. So, better than okay, it was good. It would be fun to try this place out when they are not busy, but that may never be the case! I will be back!!
Great food. Decent priced drinks
Great restaurant. Excellent food and staff.
Small place but busy. Food is quite good.
Excellent drinks and food.
Pretty good coffee rubbed burger
Great staff. Always have tons of fun there
Pretty developed place, good selection of food and beers. Not the best Guinness that I had.
Great food and great prices!
Nice find with The Blarney closed down. Good breakfast. Good beer. Good crowd.
We are visiting from Pittsburgh PA we all a little cranky from walking in the rain...we saw the Irish Pub sign and came in. Our waitress was Ashling...not sure of the spelling and she was awesome!! We had a great dining experience and all left very happy and ready for more walking around the city!!!
Excellent food . Great service, Good value. Would highly recommend.
Great food and drinks reasonably priced. Excellent staff and service. Definitely a must visit. Can't wait to return next time in NYC!
The burgers were moist and delicious while the dorito chicken sandwich was tasty and had a nice crunch. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. I was happy that it wasn't too loud either.
great ambiance, friendly staff, ahhhhmazing beverages
Great food and cold beer and amazing service and the bartenders and the servers are amazing
Great atmosphere
What an awesome Irish pub?! We rocked up quite early to watch some Premier League Football. Service was great. Food and drinks tasty and plentyful. Definitely a top notch experience.
Nice joint and nice food and I enjoyed it with a beer or two
Wanted to enjoy a nice dinner and some drinks but it was packed with loud, drunken Santas. Upon walking in we we're greeted by a Santa with an alcohol stained beard and several others at annoying levels of inebriation. Will NOT be back.
Food and service was great!
A true Irish Pub pretty close the Madison Square Garden. The Fish and Chips are AWESOME!!!! The fish is excellent but they are the supreme Mid town French Fry supplier. I suspect they cut them and cook them right there. The Irish folk serving food and drink are top notch and very pleasant people. Oh I forgot to report they REALLY like U2 there and Coldplay is pretty regular on the ear as well so I liked the music.
Cheap drinks, good bar, great wings!
Awesome place. Don’t drink at the Renaissance- this place is oh so much better.
Good place. Friendly wait staff. Very accommodating. Will definitely go back.
Went before a basketball game, was decent spot to eat drink pre game
The ambience is awesome. Portions dope and the drinks ate tasty!!!!
Went for drinks after work. The bartender was great. Ordered scotch and fries. It was perfect to decompress. Only problem is someone took over the music and only played Taylor Swift. I love T swift.... But not all night long... In a bar.... With scotch.
Fantastic place to eat some food when in a hurry. Their customer service is swift, rates are fair, great ambience. I highly recommend this place
Great service. Love the tater tots.
Best happy hour deals in the area, and I would highly recommend the appetizer platter, it's massive, cheap, and has a little bit of everything for everyone.
Cool bartender, helpful and funny. Recommended good beer.
Best bar ever.
Nice place to get a drink or food. Michelle is the best!
Enjoyed ourselves
Great drinks fun atmosphere and amazing red velvet cake.
Stopped in before the Ranger game. Good food, nice tasty drinks, GREAT staff very friendly and outgoing. Will definitely come back. Try the Bourbon Tenders.
Top top irish bar in nyc
Food isn't great and staff is soso
Great spot for lunch. The happy hour is also great with friends and co-workers. I would recommend.
Decent suprisingly spacious watering hole very close to Penn station.
I was disappointed in the food. And the bar service was a bit slow for an early lunch with no crowd
Gfeat food and very accommodating. Right by our hotel. Relatively quick service and good waitstaff.
No issues. Just had a couple of beers before concert
Atmosphere is exactly what you want in an Irish pub
Great Irish pub near Times Square. Shockingly decent prices for the area, but large selection and pretty cool ambience. The bartenders are amazing, make sure you stop in to meet Brian from Dublin. Open later than some places around the area which is nice to stop in late night.
Surely a spot worth stopping by, the food is great and well prepared, the rates are affordable and it is always well organized in here. Kudos.
French onion soup was Great. Went upstairs hoping for less noise but no such luck. Appears to be a fun drinking spot.
Really enjoyed my time here. Staff were friendly and prompt. I will definitely return.
Cozy bar with delicious bar menu and happy hour options.
Good ambience but high prices
A fine place for a pint. There’s nothing exceptional or notable. Your standard New York City pub. Happy to grab a beer here, but not sure I would go out of my way.
Best Irish Pub drinks!!!
Good food, nice atmosphere and good service
Like most Irish bars great service, great beer & great food.
Awesome pub thats close to penn station but far enough that it wasn't packed.
Cute pub excellent cx strips, bartender could have been more engaging
Nice atmosphere. Good food too.
Had a great night here the other week! Fun Irish bar. The bartenders are especially awesome, friendly, and had great drink suggestions, so shout out to Ash and Bryan!
Good atmosphere and great drink prices
Nice Irish pub. Friendly staff.
A nice place to visit. Really nice folks. It's worth taking some time for a beer with friends!
Visited here and sat at the bar. Very nice to sit and soak in a genuine NY atmosphere. Good selection of beer on tap
My wife and sister ordered the ruben sandwich. They took a bite and both said it tasted off. When opening up the sandwich the meat was gray and slimy. Manager tried to tell us that's what a NYC sandwich is and because we were from out of town we didn't know what a ruben is. Wouldn't recommend this place. Had to argue to get one sandwich taken off bill.
Great Irish bar to have a good time
Pretty decent bar/restaurant near MSG and Times Square. Good, fast service. The Dark and Stormy I had was great. The French Onion Soup was tasty, but just needed a little more salt. Same with the Chicken Pot Pie. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I will come back again in the future.
Friendly staff, good fish 'n chips at a reasonable (lunch) price, and a nice assortment of draught beer..
Found it very expensive and we were rushed with our food t he waiter was hovering around making it uncomfortable to eat there
Good food and great drinks + Great waitstaff Bery good price points.
I love bar that has a restaurant. This has that. It even has a bar within the bar. Hopefully that makes sense
Sullivan’s is my favorite Irish pub in NYC. I have been going to private parties there for years and today I Had a party for 40 and Service was really pleasant. The girls were very warm, waiters are very nice and professional, the Manager Brandon is very nice, nice ambience plus foods and drinks are delicious. My guests loved the food and the service. We had a space just for us and couldn’t haven’t found a better place in New York City. Thank you guys! We are definitely coming back.
Loved the breakfast! Really cool servers.
Good food. Ok service
Friendly, and attentive staff. A mostly mellow, and pub-like environment and atmosphere. I could see it being a casual go-to for those in the neighborhood or if you happen to find yourself in the area.
Best Guinness stew I've ever had. Be sure to ask for bread. They will bring you a small, piping hot loaf of bread with a crust of perfection.
Had an appetizer and a couple beers, both very good. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Great lunch menu, strong drinks and Irish af!!
A convenient place to get a drink and food. I like that it's tucked away so it's not right off the main street. Can get pretty crowded in the evening so grab a seat at the bar while you can. Lunch and dinner menu. Also a bar menu with great appetizers. Most of the staff is very friendly!
Friendly, quick service. Delicious omelette. Did smell cigarette smoke coming from somewhere.
nice drink good service
Great ambience, friendly staff, quick service & delicious food! Pre MSG event dinner - ✔!
The foods much better than your regular midtown pub.
This place has a perfect atmosphere. Servers and bartenders are very attentive. There is a first floor and 2nd floor bar. Both areas usually have an ambient volume in which you can talk normally without having to yell at each other.
Good food, great service
Good food, friendly staff will go back when I am in the city again
The best.
Great place to hang for you Irish boys I'm afro American with a Scottish last name
Great place to grab lunch. Fast, efficient, honest service.
Great Irish pub close to North Entrance of GCT. Decent food and friendly bartenders.
Amazing place. The waitress was wonderful and had a real Irish accent. Food was awesome and affordable. Some guys at the bar were talking Gaelic. Can't wait to go back!!
The food is absolutely amazing and I plan on going here again they have a great interior and some TVs to watch some sports . Highly recommend checking this place out with some friends
Food nice but Terrible service
I stopped by after work on Saturday the 18th of May around 7:00 PM. There was no one on the front to sit me, so I moved forward to the bar area . I noticed that most of the seats were occupied but some customers seem to be paying and then leaving, so I waited about 2 minutes before I sat myself because no one greeted me or accommodated me on my way in. When I sat at the bar, three young men (caucasian) asked me if I could shift to the next seat so the coud all sit next to another which I did. Even though I was there first, the three young men were assisted first. I didn’t mind, but after a while the bartender came to me said a word (which I couldn’t hear), placed the cup mat and before I could even say or ask for anything he walked away. (Caucasian, navy or black t-shirt, with a hair style shorter on the sides and longer heading forward hair on the top front) After a minute or 2 he came back and interated some more with the three young men again instead of me who was there first and waiting to order. He walket away again. At that point I realized that I wasn’t welcome to the place. I slowly got off the seat and found my way out. I will make sure not to ever come back again since there were clear indications that my ethnicity played a role on the way I was treated compared to another group.
Plain and simple, it's an Irish bar with good food. It's not a fancy place, but it's a nice place to meet up with your friends and have a beer and a burger
Quaint Irish bar with a decent choice of entrees. Full bar. Good service. Enjoy
Close to NY Penn Station and well stocked bar
Great service! Ask for Johnny B!
A classic Irish pub serving up all of your favorites. Friendly staff and a warm inviting atmosphere. Or maybe it was just the Jameson....
Wedge salad has no iceberg lettuce in it
Server was "off" and a rude bartender told us we needed to go to the bar and order ourselves. Wenwere there to get something to eat after a late show and told the kitchen was closed. The website advertises they serve food and stay open until 4am.
Good food, great service.
Love the food and service!
Decent Irish American fare served by friendly and professional bartenders
Great food, spirits and service.
Great staff and a really good menu selection for people with dietary restrictions.
Great Irish Pub in the heart of Midtown. Will make you feel at home with quality drinks and good vibes.
Great little pub, never had to track down bartender, quick service
Fair to have some drink during the week
Nice joint
Had some time to kill before my train and this place fit the bill. Nice atmosphere. Decent prices for the area. Had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Fries were nice and crisp. Guinness was fresh and cold!
Good place to chill for a quick bite and have a brew!
Chicken tenders were delicious but their wedge salad had no iceberg lettuce as advertised on menu
Just had drinks!!!
Food was very good and cheap
Great for the Manhattan lunch, prices are great and the food never had a bad dish
Great food and drink and more importantly am atmosphere.
Great bar food, great drinks with reasonable pricing. Make sure you ask for Bennie at the bar!
Great bar with great service. Nice Irish dive bar in midtown. Great for after work or before catching a train. Great drink specials every day. If the downstairs bar gets too crowded they have another bar upstairs
Came here numerous times in 2017, first stop as we arrived yesterday, sat here again right now
My new favorite hangout! Old school new York pub. Unassuming. I love!
Good service, great food, warm, friendly and a good place to duck into out from the crowd of the streets
Perfect caprese salad I enjoyed it so much
It was great, food was great, alcohol was great. Great place
Awesome place and people! The food was great and the drinks were even better. Lisa Marie was our bartender and she was one of the most warm-hearted and loving people we’ve ever met. Highly recommend!
Best bar in New York. I fookin mean it
Great drinks and fast service. Definitely going back there
Great cold beer. Good music playing through speakers. Good selection of spirits.
Cool place to pre game by MSG
I honestly don't know what I was expecting for this place. I was on vacation looking for food. My travel partner and I ducked in and were pleasantly surprised that it was Rugby game day. We sat at the bar. The bar staff was great even though we didn't order booze. The menu was more than I expected. Not in price, but in higher end food selection. I definitely want to go back the next time I'm in town!
good
This was a mixed experience, at best. Bad: I walked in off the street and there's a host/hostess stand with nobody at it. I waited... waited... waited. Decided just to go seat myself. Good: The waitress showed up right away to ask if I wanted food, drink, or both. I said both, and ordered a Guinness. Bad: It took a long time to get the beer. She came back for food order (still no beer) and I ordered Curry Chicken. The beer and meal arrived at almost the same time. The bar didn't appear to be that busy. Good: The food was delicious. The Guinness was, well, Guinness. Bad: The wait staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than serving customers and asking if they needed anything. I would have ordered dessert, or at least asked if it was an option, had I any confidence that the order would show up quickly. Now I know why some restaurants have a "no cell phone" policy for servers. Some ups, some downs, but the frustration offset the tasty food, I'm afraid.
Great food and drinks
POYB! Great spot....very friendly folks working there.
Good service. Decent bar but don't expect mixology. Stick with beer, wine, and simple drinks. Food is good here
Great place for a drink ! Friendly bartenders good crowd.
Great place
Small but cozy. Good food. Service is great too.
This is a fun place or a comfortable place, depending on who you are, what you are looking for, and, as, is common in Manhattan, when you arrive. The bartenders, wait-people, and busboys are all chirpy, and friendly. It has a sort of old Irish pub atmosphere -- I was delighted when I saw that John Sullivan had kept a lot of the previous bar's architecture and accoutrements (he included the original bar, and just made the place a little brighter and larger, but with that old pub feel.) They are open from 8am to 4am. You can get breakfast, even a "full Irish breakfast" from 8 to 11am for a "reasonable" price (I mean you knew this was not McDonald's, yes?) The regular menu is decent. There's a special lunch menu (I recommend the cheeseburger, but everything else will surely be to your liking, if you are accustomed to pub food). The Irish employees say the Irish food is good... What's not to like?
Perfect Irish coffee, authentic
Macy's department store is just on the corner so it's a brilliant place to be ( adult ) babysat when others in your group have not finished shopping yet. The staff are friendly and we were having a laugh with the people around us which all seemed to be waiting on wives, husband's, friends as well. It was a midweek afternoon and we only had beer and bar snacks so I don't know what the evenings or food are like.
Good fish and chips. Decent prices, but the bartender never asked how the food was and didn't seem in a good mood.
Visited the bar on a couple of occasions and were greeted well even though i was a bit dusty from work .but yesterday i had a very unpleasant experience.had a couple off drinks then there was a shift change when i politly asked for another drink when he had a chance the bar tender went off on a tirate quote. "Can't you see im serving drinks and I'm busy?"" At that point i was so offended i put on my coat and decided to leave when i asked for management the waitress pointed at him at which point he's tirate worsen.bad menagement im sure my ethnicity was factored into his reaction.im latino.and no i never play the race card.
I used to come here all the time after work. It's a great place to unwind and they always have drink specials. I changed jobs but I still come here from time to time when I am in the area. It's also a good place to hang out before a show or concert. The food is good and the bartenders are friendly.
It was a little dark in the bar, but overall good experience here.
Attentive bartender, great atmosphere. Can't attest to the drinks or the food as I just went to hang out with a friend but it was an enjoyable experience
Nice bar to watch sports with friends. Friendly staff.
The lamb was excellent and service top notch.
