Love this restaurant. They are fast and very friendly. The service is excellent. I am a loyal guest a Hillstone goer every week. The only complaint I have is, they removed the shrimp macadamia sushi roll, smoked salmon, and grilled artichoke. Bring them back!

Very good the cheeseburger. Would not choose french fries again as they are very thin, but you have 10 other option to choose. Dessert take the Sundae (is big and enough for 1 person) Nice service and atmosphere. Reccomendet for a night with friends!!!

Hillstone is great, the quality at this restaurant is very very high and the level of service is outstanding. You would not expect to find such good sushi at a steak place but the coconut shrimp sushi here is excellent. I definitely recommend this place the atmosphere is very comfortable as well, it is a great place to go after work or during the weekend!

Great place. Went here for a work lunch and had a great experience. I had the Hillstone burger and my coworkers had the French dip, and we all loved our food. There's a dress code. Dress business casual: collar shirt, no athletic, no baggy, no revealing. Very good ambiance because of that. Highly recommend. Expect a wait.

Great service but the burger came with very skinny fries which in England would be called crisps. Would recommend to visit with friends but very packed together. Limited menu. Wouldn’t go above the corporate line re birthday drinks etc so customer service was robotic as they were limited to what they were allowed to do. Tables were crammed together to get maximum profit. I expect they do well in business hours.

I waited an hour and a half for lunch because they wouldnt take reservations, and then was told to leave because i wouldnt accomodate their dress code (i just had surgery on my skull and was wearing a baseball cap to cover the healing scars). They were incredibly rude, stuck up, and unapologetic. They didnt care at all that me and my 5 person party waited for that long. They were also illegally serving appetizers to people who werent seated or at the bar, a serious health and safety violation. There was food on the floor everywhere. I went across the street to Morton's. Much better attitude. Ill never go back to hillstone.

I always have a nice time at Hillstone! The service is ultra consistent, the food is ultra consistent, the bill is ultra consistent. I love to swing thru for late dinners, the staff always recognizes me and they know my peculiarities-- an extra twist, a side of horseradish sauce, extra black pepper, whatever! Thank goodness for consistency!

The dimly-lit panelled and somewhat cavernous space provides an interesting mix of spaces where you can find intimate couples in one end, and large families in another. The excellent bar serves the entire menu and provides a good, if somewhat America-heavy wine list. Shoestrings fries were a highlight, we didn't try the sushi, which looked great on the neighbour's plate.

This place is overhyped. Their hands-on service style is well-intentioned but comes off as patronizing when they explain every part of the process - with an eye roll to follow. ‘When you’re ready to order, please just put your menus down so we know you’re ready.’ Perfectly helpful but only if delivered without attitude. Oh, and the chicken they served me was raw and slippery, then they told me it was simply how they brine their dark meat. No thanks.

For my first experience in this restaurant it was the worst. I never went to a restaurant that I have to worry about my personal items being missing. Out-of four females sitting at a table next to me. Stole my personal belonging when I walked off the table. The sad thing is that the waiters and the managers are no help in a situation like this. They have cameras but they do not use them maybe they really don't work. Waiting for the cops the restaurant manager was rushing me out of the restaurant and claimed that the people that come in his restaurant does not steal and if you don't leave I will be calling security. Smfh. How can you vouch for customers you don't know. Put it this way how can you vouch 4 something you don't fucking know!!!

Beautiful place, helpful staff, and the food was PHENOMENAL! I got the Cod with bok choy, sesame rice, and ponzu shiitake. It was soooooo good! The fish was like butter, and the bok choy surprisingly lacked bitterness. I was very pleased. The sushi rice was pretty heavy on the vinegar/sugar, but I actually really loved it. Drinks were great too! Awesome bartenders!

We came at 10:50pm on July 4th. We were welcomed gladly and seated at the table. Server was very nice and helpful. We ordered two glasses of wine and one prime steak. It was AMAZING !! You have to try it if you go there, very soft, juicy and well seasoned. I would come back just to eat it again and again ! The bill was $100 exactly. No one was rushing us and we left around 12am. Manager passed by to ask how was everything. Recommend.

The crabcakes were spectacular. I had them with cold slaw and French fries. The cold slaw was excellent. The best cold slaw I ever had. The fries were good. But a little hard for my pallet. But they were tasty. I started out with a salad and it was fresh and tasty. To end it all, the best, fresh Key Lime pie I've ever tasted. Not too sweet, even though very rich. Next time I'm in Miami, here I come again.

Nice place in a great part of Miami. Menu is quite limited but the quality seemed good. It’s not suitable for kids, given they have a cheese sandwich option only. It’s expensive but it’s a nice environment. Service is not the best or the most attentive so you’d probably come here to hang out for a nice meal and a few finks as a couple, rather than a family that is looking for wider options and great service.

This is a Gables classic, if you’ve heard the name Houstons, which i still call it that, then you already know what Hillstone is. The food is absolutely amazing and very consistent. I come at least once a week and I love it even more each time. The staff are the best, shout out to Kristen & Vanessa behind the bar! If you’re in the mood for some great tasting food right in the heart of the Gables do not pass on Hillstone. A+++

I am not the type of person who enters a restaurant near closing. But I did this at Hillstone and promised I would eat fast. Both hostess and bartender were very nice to accommodate me. For a clutch dinner, it couldn't have been better. The prime rib and grilled artichokes were so good. I wasn't expecting such quality as the kitchen was winding down to close. Although I was embarrassed showing up 10 minutes before closing, it was well worth it.

The Martinis here are very good, they are pricey, but they are great pour sizes. The house burger is equally delicious, so is the sushi. One thing that i dont get quite get is that they dont have anything else but these tiny finger thin fries that are more of a crunch than anything else. Im not a fan of them and I wish they had other options. Other then that, this is a GREAT place to bring a date, or for a casual business lunch.

We went to Hillstone Restaurant for happy hour and a light early dinner for the first time. We had the Tostones with spicy rémoulade, the Coconut Shrimp Rolls, the Grilled Chicken Salad and the Key Lime Pie for dessert. Food was Delicious! Service was Excellent! The restaurant atmosphere was welcoming and lively. We'll recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

Wonderful meal! First time there for me but went with a regular who pointed me to some things not on the regular menu. Had an amazing prime rib! Not a meal for those with a small appetite. The place is popular. Prepare to wait even with reservations. The atmosphere is lively - louder closer to the bar. Booths are comfortable and service is top notch. Park in the public garage on the block behind. More spaces on the down ramps than on the ones going up. Try the key lime pie!

The reason behind my 1 star rating is not due to the restaurant, food or service. That all was amazing. This rating is because of a coral gables cop that came to our table after our meal. This pretentious, patronizing and chauvinistic poor excuse for a man thought that just because we were 3 women, we were automatically ignorant. So his comments were blatantly prejudiced disguised as concern. It is a shame to experience such “abuse of power” but it was obvious what was hiding behind that...an idiot. He even had to call upon the manager to witness his comments toward us in order to “cover his ass”. How sad you are little man... cop or not, you don’t deserve my respect or attention beyond this stamens/ review. I feel sad for you. I feel sad for Hillstone, as I will not return and will advise all my contact to do the same.

This is such a lively and delicious restaurant/bar in the middle of a very happening neighborhood. I was there on a Friday at 8pm so it was definitely a busy time, which I shockingly did not mind. I had heard the ribs were amazing and indeed they were. Fall off-the-bone, tasty with the sweetest (and dark) BBQ sauce. Also the spinach artichoke dip was lip-smacking good, our table of 4 trying to scrape out the last remnants of goodness! The drinks were very strong and we were too full for dessert but there will be a next time! Sorry for no photos - my fingers were covered in BBQ sauce! Go here if you’re in Coral Gables (or wherever there is a Hillstone)!

In town for work assignment. We've tried a couple of places within the area but Hillstone has my vote for the best. Vibrant atmosphere even on a Tuesday evening. Ordered the Tostones along with the Double Cut Pork Chops. Finished it off with the best Tres Leches in Coral Gables! Our server Stazi was was very friendly, funny, and patient, fully cooperating with all of our 'inquiries'! We will most definitely be back!

Fantastic! I ordered the salmon and baked potato. The salmon wasn’t as well done as I like (completely my fault). The waitress happily took it back. The chef brought it back out to me. It was perfect. Even the baked potato was super - it was piping hot and the skin kosher salted. It was a great lunch. Can’t say enough about it. Super food and happy service ! Definitely a Big Thumbs Up!

The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because we were a party of 9 an they don't take reservations but failed to tell us when we called that the largest table they accommodate is 6! So we had to split into 2 tables that were not next to each other but close by. The service is excellent and all the service staff is great. As soon as my friend, baby, and I walked in we told the hostess we were 2 and needed a high chair for my daughter. The hostess then informed us that it was a 45 minute or less wait. My 1-year-old who was starving had to suffer as we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes after asking twice if the table was ready. When we got seated, we asked the hostess again for a high chair and were told that they don’t have high chair or booster seats. My baby was not able to sit comfortably in a high chair throughout the dinner. I also had to deal with having my sweet baby sit on my lap the entire dinner due to the ridiculous no high chair policy which sounds discriminatory and illegal.

The food is top notch and the service is excellent too. The place is beautiful and usually packed, so making a reservation would be wise. From the Artichoke Dip, the Hawaiian Ribeye, the rack of Ribs and even the regular Cheeseburger, every dish seems to be 5 stars. My only complaint is that they can't arrange for groups larger than 6 people. Took the family for grandma's birthday here and we had to sit in tables far apart from each other.

Saturday night dinner with my friend. We sat a the bar and Nicholas our server was great! My friend is allergic to seafood and he made sure the chips for the spinach dip were fried in clean oil, to avoid cross contamination. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. I personally love eating at Hillstone. I've been coming here for years for special occasions and I'm always left satisfied. The only thing I have a problem with is the wait to get a table but other than that, a solid experience overall. I got the mouthwatering pork ribs that blew my mind. This is one of my favorite restaurants not only in NYC, but also anywhere in the world. The reason I say this is because of the quality, consistency and taste of everything that is on the menu. Having visited this restaurant for over 10 years on a constant basis every other week or at least once a month, I cannot remember being disappointed even once. The management reviews and checks every single dish that leaves the kitchen for perfection. I watch them do this every time I’m at the restaurant. The waiters and bartenders are top notch professionals with excellent training and a wonderful attitude. The prices are extremely fair and we have been challenged to find a better offering anywhere in NYC. The fish is probably one of the freshest I’ve seen in NYC. As a fanatical fisherman I can attest that they have excellent suppliers and quality. Their sushi chefs are world class. This restaurant never disappoints and is at the top of the game.

Let me start off by saying this place has some of the best service I've ever seen at a restaurant. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. They took note that we're vegetarians. The sushi is great here. Everything else we got was just ok. Veggie burger was not great and the "fries" are way too thin and crunchy. They're more like chips. They also don't have vegetarian ketchup here which is really strange. Dessert was very good though we got the ice cream sundae. Drinks were also great. Price wasn't too high either. Loved the ambiance and size of the restaurant.

To put into one sentence, this place is AWESOME. If you don't come during the main dining hours, you can find a table easily. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I’ve been coming here for years and hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in the entire world! The atmosphere is fun and hip, without being pretentious. The staff are always friendly and amenable. Drink selection is outstanding. And last but not least, the food, let’s be honest this is why you really here is phenomenal! Last night’s meal comprised of fluffy and flavorful focaccia bread, the Hawaiian marinated pineapple & soy infused rib eye steak, loaded bake potato and 2 glasses of wine. A glimpse of heaven was seen on earth last night and it was found at 201 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Fl. Definitely add to the must do list.. if you haven’t already!

I went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. One of the plates I ordered was the salmon, it was under cooked in the center. I brought this to the attention of the waiter and my plate was exchanged for a properly cooked one. After our meal, I asked the waiter for a dessert menu and she said oh I can just tell you what we have, and I ordered a brownie and ice cream for dessert and it appeared that it had been prepared in the refrigerator for two weeks and the price was $12. Horrible and even more horrible when I saw the price. I got to the restaurant during lunch time and I got charged for the price of the dinner, after having ordered from the lunch menu. I asked the waiter that I thought the prices for the meals that I chose were less expensive, without giving me any explanation she brought me the dinner menu, for a moment I thought I was going crazy, non of the prices matched with what I had seen previously. I had to stand up, go to the front desk and realized I have been given two different menus. I felt so disrespected and confused for the lack of communication from the waiter. The most undesirable feeling. I don't think I will come back any time soon.

I had a fantastic time dining at Hillstone. I arrived about 30 minutes before my friends so I took a seat and grabbed a drink. Both bartenders were attentive and friendly even with a big rush going on (around 6pm, right as people were getting out of work). Especially around 6pm, the atmosphere is that of an upscale tavern with lots of professionals coming as they clock out. For reference, drink or cocktail will generally run you about $15-$20. I had a glass of Knob Creek that was $16. If you don't have a reservation, make sure you get there with ample time before you'd like to eat. My party of 3 waited about 40 minutes for a table. Once we were seated, we had a very attentive and friendly waiter. I would highly recommend bringing a bottle of wine along with you as the corking fee of $15 will treat you better than spending on drinks at the restaurant. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Osaka style spicy tuna roll, the spinach artichoke dip, 2 burgers, and a French dip. Everything was excellent but I would specifically recommend the Osaka style rolls and the spinach artichoke dip. Overall, we had a wonderful time. If I didn't live so far away from the place, it would be a regular haunt for me. Highly recommended for a nice upscale afterwork bar with some small eats.

Great food. Very refined and attractive decore - the best of all the Hillstone (and before Huston's) I've been. Used to offer incredible value, prices were raised significantly, bit still offers significant value. Love their steaks, it was here that I realized that I don't like aged (steakhouse) beef, I prefer to got to a Hillstone (or similar). Have the smoked salmon app.

This is a great restaurant to dine with client and for important business meetings. Loved the ambience and services. Food was ok. Dine with two people will cost around avg 85 usd.
