I have also been to Hakkasan in London and in New York City. I had wonderful experiences at both those outposts as well. However, the Hakkasan in Miami blew all the others away, which is a tremendous accomplishment. They had a sommelier stop by and recommend wines with each course in addition to several members of their staff waiting on us. The dim sum was fantastic, and the Peking Duck was the best I have ever enjoyed outside of Beijing. On food and service alone it was one of the best meals of my life. The beautiful decor both inside the restaurant and outside it within the Fontainebleau Hotel are just extra bonus points that help cement its status as one of the best restaurants in the world in my mind.

Very good. We have eaten in this restaurant a few times in the past few years. The food is generally good, although not as good quality as the original Hakkasan restaurant in London. I like it, and will go back, but it is just not quite as good as the original.

Wonderful restaurant with a great staff. They were very accommodating to our large group. Additional, every single bite of the meal was amazing. Hakkasan Miami was as close to a perfect dining experience one can have. I have dined at the New York location, Vegas and London ones. I would say that Miami eclipses Vegas and New York and is a close second to the London location in my book. *(I love London) Ambience was perfect, though it could have been not quite as dark. Server was excellent and attentive, what I have come to expect from this establishment. Steamed Lobster with the house chili sauce was perfect. The Roast duck with truffle was fair, seemed like the richness of the duck washed out the delicateness of the truffles. Other then that the meal and service was perfect.

Great place for dumplings. The dumpling options and variations will not disappoint you. You have a lot to choose from. Go on a Saturday or Sunday for late brunch or lunch. The food is delicious, expensive, but it’s worth the treat !

This was my 3rd Hakkasan experience in a different country, best so far. Food was fantastic. We were a party of 8 & had 2 different signatures menus, portions were generous almost double to what you get in hakkasan in London. Service was very good & catered well for 8 of us. Only point to improve on for me, would be the deco & lightning. Would highly recommend.

Incredible experience from beginning to end. Our server directed us to the best dishes for what we were looking for, was very attentive to everyone around us as we were talking to him a table 2 places over dropped a drink on their table within second he excused himself and ran over to clean it up for them. He saw things everywhere and went above and beyond for everyone. His name started with an A I couldn’t pronounce so he said to call him AJ. Pros: sea bass must have with the green beans! Drink: I made my own speciality drink ....the the passion fruit juice with vodka ...amazing!! Enjoy! We will be back!

The atmosphere and place gets an easy 5 star. It was a gorgeous restaurant. Also the crispy duck appetizer with hoisin sauce was among the best I’ve ever had. The dumbo kings where okay, and the fried rice lacked depth (we got the special one that had all meats and seafood). The ribs also lacked a generous amount of sauce, but they were fall off the bone. We happened to try every dessert. The green tea ice cream came in a cold sone bowl which was cool. The macarons where also delicious. If you like dark chocolate flavor I would opt for the dark lava cake.

My family loved the late night group menu. My aunt could not get over the fact they cut her ribs for her. We ordered fried rice, ribs and the string beans were soooo good. I would definitely visit this place if you are staying at the FB.

How I Journey

The first thing I recognized when I walked in was the dark, mysterious decor, it made me feel like I was back in the Fushimi-ku shrine in Kyoto! Pretty cool. Next up was the menu. I originally came for Miami Spice but quickly saw a few other things that I had to try, like the dim sum and roast duck. Both were incredible and must haves if you visit! The chocolate lava dessert was also incredible along with the service, even though 18% service charge is already included in the check, even for a party of 2. Tips when visiting: 1. Be prepared to spend at least $100/person, this place isn't cheap 2. There is a public parking lot to the left of the hotel 3. You will need to walk to the departures entrance to catch your Uber, you cannot get an Uber from the regular entrance by the bar/lobby. Walk down the hallway past Liv and you'll get there.

Awesome place, food, drinks and service. BUT don’t even try going to the pool area to walk around after your expensive meal: you will be kicked out for not being a hotel guest. So next time you come to this hotel to have lunch or dinner, pay your bill, pay valet, get your car and leave since you are not welcomed.

We have decided to dine here on recommendation of a friend. He suggested we try the Dim Sum brunch, but we opted for a late evening meal (with Dim Sum as starters) instead. The food is delicious and presented in a very appetizing manner. The restaurant is on the pricier side and the portions are sized so that you can try out multiple dishes. The music is a tad bit loud, so I wouldn't bring someone here on the first date, (unless of course intentionally ;) ), but this adds to the atmosphere which we enjoy very much. Finally, the cocktails are excellent and the atmosphere at the bar much better than downstairs in the lobby ("Bleau"-Bar).

This place will heckle you. Not only did they deny our request to add on 2 business partners to our party of 6, they insulted our attired as we were being seated. Mind you, the place was empty and we could have easily fit 2 more people at our table. On top of that, they insulted one of my colleagues for their attire which was more than appropriate for the occasion. I find this so rude because if someone's attire is truly the problem, then turn them away at the door. But to let them in and then heckle them about their attire in public and in front of clientele is absurd. Service was piss poor to boot. I give one star overall, but luckily for them they have a great chef in the back who makes delicious food for an extra star.

We have arrived in Miami and after a long flight and a few drinks by the beach, it was time for dinner. For dinner, our choice was Hakkasan. To be honest, I've been to Hakkasun in the UK, but it was nothing like what I experienced in Miami, the food is full of flavour, I just cannot explain the taste. The whole ambience of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and has a floral scent as soon as you walk in. For starters, we had crispy prawn with mango, which left a fruity juicy taste in my mouth, with a crispy finish.These prawns were more savoury and a had a satay finish, I was not really a fan of these because I prefer more sweet or sour taste. And my favourite dish of the night had to be the dim sum platter- 8 little pockets of flavour; 2x Scallop Shumai 2x Har Gar 2x Black crystal rice vegetables 2x Crab meat. Equally, all the dim sum pieces were nice but my favourite had to be the dim sum topped with caviar style beads. For my main, it was between the Bahamian lobster or the black pepper tenderloin but eventually gave in and went for the beef, choosing egg fried rice to accompany the beef. I had my beef cooked medium to rare as I like my meat a bit tender and juicy, the beef was very spicy but that is just how I like it! Everything was washed down with several glasses of house red wine, which really hit the spot! One thing I always appreciate bout Americans is the customer service and we really gave the best of the best in terms of customer service and would definitely recommend going to Hakkasan for dinner. The lightening is dimmed and is a perfect place to go for a date. Price: £££

When we arrived we were greeted at the door by the hostess, who was very polite and our wait was not very long. We are at the Fontainebleau hotel so expected the decor to be amazing which it was but it was a little to dark for my liking. Our server was very professional and we enjoyed every moment. Desert came out right on time and tasted amazing. We had a few drinks and each did not fail to amaze.

The interior - Located inside the fabulous and quizzical layout of the Fontainebleau hotel, the interior has a dark and mysterious ambiance. This really took me by surprise because it overlooks a fabulous oceanfront view, but they made the choice to hide it with all their might! Clearly, they must know something that I dont. The Service - Excellent. The server was oozing with experience and was always prompt in anticipating any needs that we may have had. The Food - Some items were more tasty than others. Our favourite was the Almond Prawn. Portions can be less than admirable, but overall the food quality is very good. There are no kids menu however, but would recommend the Chicken Fried Rice with green peas. The Bill - Very high and they tack on a whopping 20% service charge and politely ask you to tip more. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again, especially because Miami is bursting with good eats everywhere. Overall, a 7/10.

Surprised this place wasn’t packed on a Thursday at 8pm. Maybe because In Miami the drugs don’t take hold until 10pm and then people get hungry. The food here is fantastic. The ambience is perfect. Grab a drink at the bar before you’re seated. The restaurant is nestled deep in the Fontainebleau hotel through some empty hallways and a non-description elevator. It’s perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle chaos of the rest of the hotel on a busy night. Get an assortment of the dim sum, chili chicken, and other appetizers. You don’t need entrees for everyone unless you’re ready to pass out afterwards.

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. Wait! In the whole wide universe as the flavors are out of this world. Located in the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach, the restaurant is lush, luxurious with dim lighting and a long extended bar at the entrance. If you have a special occasion, this is the place to celebrate as everyone will please your emotions and your palate. I have been ducking the duck, but it is on my bucket list. I'll let you in on a secret since I haven't been to confession in a while; I had two desserts and they were heavenly. Yes, it is expensive, but you only live once and saving for this is a reward.

Highly overpriced and overrated Chinese food in a hip location. The food was fine, but the location causes the prices to be much higher than what they are at other Chinese restaurants. My wife and I had a reasonable dinner with one mixed drink each and paid over $250 for what is under $80 elsewhere.

This is one of our favorites when it comes to Asian cuisine. We always start with dim sum platter, I guess it's everyone else's favorite too because I see this on other tables all the time. So that's a must. Then of course, their chicken, beef and Peking duck are all very flavorful! This was our first time at hakkasan in Miami, and I must say we got the same nice feel as the one in NY, only that this one was less noisy and you could actually have a conversation with your friends on the table.

Hakkasan is always so good, so consistent, food and drinks are delicious, service and ambiance are top notch. Every time we have brought company out to dine at Hakkasan, the feedback is always overwhelmingly amazing, with our guests saying that they've never had such a great dining experience in such ambiance. We have been dining at Hakkasan for years now (whether this South Beach location, Las Vegas, or NYC), and it's always a wonderful time. For drinks, I love the Chinese Mule and the Floating Goddess. You can't go wrong with either! The first time we ever dined at Hakkasan, the hostess highly recommended the duck salad (I was apprehensive and blew off the idea). Then our waitress told us that if there were something we must order, it had to be the duck salad. So we ordered it. And my life changed! I am now obsessed with the duck salad at Hakkasan. It's a definite must. We love the dim sum, San Pei chicken or sea bass, the Hakka noodle, and this South Beach location offers a side dish of sauteed green beans with olives (so delicious). You can't go wrong ordering anything and everything here. The preparation is so special and meticulous (don't expect substitutions because of the integrity of the original dishes). I promise that your experience at Hakkasan will be very special, different than a typical dine out, and so memorable.

Terrible service and over priced. I had just arrived off a late flight from miami and was starving. I went to this place since it's the main attraction terminal E and was sorely disappointed. I simply ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and a sake sangria. The drink was fine, but it took an act of God to get my food. I waited for nearly 45 minutes because the kitchen kept forgetting my order. When they finally brought my food to me it was wrong, so they took it back and made me something fresh, but you can tell it was rushed, instead of arriving in a porcelain bowl like they served most of their bowls, mine arrived in a paper crate, it was cold, and had 2 small pieces of broccoli. I asked for more and got one additional broccoli stem, for the 45 bucks I spent, the experience was insulting. I wont be back.

I would give it 5 stars however some of the prices are hard to justify. We shared a hot and sour soup(had chicken in it, my husband is vegetarian and asked beforehand), black bean tofu clay pot - delicious! Also shared the seafood fried rice. Everything tasted great, the ambiance was delightful. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys tasty food.

This review is for lunch.I like Hakkasan so I'm sad to say I was disappointed with the food at this location. The dim sum was pretty bland and quality was just "ok" but not the high caliber I expect from Hakkasan. However, service was nice. Perhaps it was b/c we were there for lunch and that this location is in the hotel, but the crowd, which often makes places like this feel trendy, was filled with what I call the "cruise ship crowd." Kids were running around as well. I hear dinner is better...

The Mango Custard that I had for dessert was HEAVEN!! I could not find one bone in any of the meals with meat or chicken or fish. I had the best time with quiet and delicate setting. Coming with family and friends is a big reccomendation. You must come and eat at this restaurant. The food came one dish after another and this restaurant is family style. Everything you eat, everyone else eats. I am still shook from my experience at this restauarant. Big thanks to our server Antoine. My favorite!! So many options but my favorite is the fried rice in XO sauce and the crispy beef. For starters, the jasmine tea pork ribs were excellent. Ask for Marcos to be your server. He is awesome. Arrive early to have cocktail at their spectacular bar. I have never been disappointed with this upscale Chinese restaurant! Two thumbs up.

It is too pricey. The ambiance is good but food is too bland for our taste bud. Gregory at the bar suggested we try dim sum(way too over priced) for vegetarians, we didn’t like it at all. We wanted to try other fried dumplings(less pricey) but he kinda bend our arms to get the pricey dim sum. Like I said, go there for good atmosphere. We really enjoyed conversing with Gregory at the bar and he also recommended Serpent Tongue, which I think is a MUST, if you like ginger. We read the reviews later on and people mentioned Tofu peppers is a must for vegetarians, guess we were never recommended that.

Always 5 Star. How do you review Hakkasan? The dishes are all gourmet....it's 5 star cuisine in a 5 star setting inside a 5 star resort. Hanging out at the bar....or sitting in one of the dining rooms...you meet/see some of the most amazing people.....great vibe....and the service is always on point. Arrived for a 7:30 reservation at 8pm.....(on a Saturday night).....normally it would result in the hostess simply making you wait for an empty table....but not here. The hostess smiled and said it's ok.....You're at the Fontainbleau....we dont expect you to keep track of time here. CLASS ACT.....10 STARS. Combine this with unbelievable gourmet cuisine.....great ambiance...fusion style music and an Oceanfront setting in the greatest Resort on earth.....and that is it. That is my simple review. Dress well....your in the 305.

Ate there in Feb.... no particular occasion but had a wonderful experience.. exceptional ambience and service. I had the toasted sesame prawn appetizer and charcoal grilled honey Chilean Sea bass... both were phenomenally prepared! Obviously done with pride, can't wait to go back... this time for my birthday!

It was our anniversary night when we decided to try this place out for dinner. Hakkasan is a classy, fine-dinning restaurant which serves very delicious food with perfect quantity. We were taken good care by their friendly staff. And we throughly enjoyed our time there. P.S: Recommended for a romantic date night.

A little bit disappointed. We have better Asian dining in Norway, which I didn’t expect. The mushroom soup was thin and quite tasteless, main course was better but I didn’t really fall in love with it. Not the best value for money, but of course good food.

Went here while staying at the Fontainebleau on vacation. Food is pricey but worth it! Quality of food is amazing. The ambiance is wonderful. The sauces in the food are what I think made it truly unique and flavorful. The service was top notch and our server was very polite and attentive. Dim Sum platter is delicious! Stir fry udon noodles with duck were also a favorite. Overall, would definitely recommend and would go back!

My husband and I are vegan, and we had one of the best dining experiences at Hakkasan Miami. Our waiter was knowledgeable about veganism, attentive, and extremely professional. The same went for the other staff members in the restaurant. I love the fact that Hakkasan had many excellent vegan items on the menu, and we loved everything we tried. Soft cocktails and iced tea were delicious too. We will definitely be back!

Miami Spice 2019: Great options for lunch. The service was professional (even while dealing with a rude, entitled customer at the table next to us), the ambiance was nice, the food was delicious, and the drinks were also great! The bartender did a great job taking care of us while we waited for our table- we would not have minded eating at the bar instead. The udon noodles, bok choy were very tasty, and the dumpling variety that was brought to the table surprised us as well.

I grow up in China and I really feel I have the right to give a 2-star review for this place. It was way too overpriced and the food did not leave me any good impression. I would say an average Chinese resultant could do much better than this. And the taste from Hakkasan would be no difference from what I usually had in China in any small bistro. We spent $233 on dinner last night and it was not worth the price at all. I could have much better food somewhere else spending 200 bucks. The beef was salty, the fantail shrimp was oily, the chicken fried rice was chewy, but the desert was OK, and just OK. They compulsorily charged 18% gratuity from customers. I understand the location has given Hakkasan the privilege to make everything expensive. But if you are looking for a restaurant with decent decoration and atmosphere but not the quality or the tastes of the food, go ahead and give it a try and you'll find out that I really tell the truth.

Arrival at the reception desk at Hakkasan for a very close friend's birthday dinner was greeted by two very pleasant hostesses. We had called ahead to let them know it was a special occasion and we were informed at that time that there a few of choices of table locations depending on our mood. We were told by the hostess that the general manager had picked out the best table for us, but if we wanted, we could see the other options. The best table was indeed selected, it was in a secluded area with a view of the ocean and the seating was perfect for our group. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and after speaking with us for a few min to get our drink orders and an understanding of the foods we liked, proceeded to provide that kind of service that I haven't seen on in many places. They were never too far away if we needed something (seemed like they knew every time and would just appear) and almost never seen. We also did something that I have only done in 2 other restaurants (places that I frequent), we let our main server choose the entire meal with the exception of the Peking Duck that we requested. It was a wonderful experience, the selections that were made for us were tasty and well presented. The GM stopped by to meet us initially and checked in several times during the evening. The solmonier was able to find the last 2 bottles of a Napa cab from their vast collection for us after discussing our preference and taste. I think it's safe to say we had a great time and I will be back.

SERVICE 5/5 EVERYONE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE & SUPER POLITE. I LIKED THAT OUR SERVER CHANGED OUR PLATES AFTER EVERY COURSE. HE WAS ON TOP OF REFILLING OUR BEVERAGES AS WELL. FOOD WAS A SOLID 5/5 THOUGH WE WERENT TOO HUNGRY WHEN WE HAD DINNER HERE, I REALLY WISH WE HAD A BIGGER APPETITE! DIMSUM PLATTER 5/5 I LOVED THAT THE HARGOW SHELLS WERE NOT SO THICK. IT WAS A PERFECT RATIO OF THE DOUGH AND SHRIMP FILLING. VEGETARIAN DIMSUM PLATTER 5/5 I LOVE VEGETABLES, AND THEIR VEGGIE DUMPLING ASSORTMENTS WERE SO TASTY! ASSORTED MUSHROOMS, TOFU & ASIAN VEGETABLES. PEKING DUCK 5/5 THIS DISH WAS JUST A COURSE MEAL (AS OPPOSED TO THE FULL 2 COURSE W.THE 2ND LETTUCE WRAP). THE DUCK WAS COOKED PERFECTLY, CRISPY SKIN & THINLY SLICED, DUCK PCS WERE JUICY, SERVED WITH JULIENNE CUCUMBERS AND SPRING ONIONS, HOISIN SAUCE & VERY THIN STEAMED CREPES. IM NOT A FAN OF DUCK BUT THIS DISH WAS SO WELL MADE, PERFECTED TO THE T! WAGYU BEEF 5/5 CAN NEVER GO WRONG W.WAYGU BEEF. COOKED MEDIUM WELL (THOUGH I LIKE MED-RARE) IT WAS STILL TENDER AND MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH TRUFFLE FRIED RICE W.BEEF 5/5 V.AROMATIC W.STRONG TRUFFLE FLAVOURS CUBED BEEF TENDERLOINS AND MORE MUSHROOMS OVERALL WE LOVED IT HERE! PRICE IS STEEP FOR THE PORTION BUT IT IS A VERY WELL DESERVED TITLE OF "FINE DINING". EVERY DOLLAR WORTH SPENDING.
