The food here is good but it's not great. The food to me needs more flavor. I have been here multiple times so it's not just one incident. I think it's funny that you order a soda and not only do they bring you a water but a hot steaming pot of tea. They could at least ask if we even want it at all.

What can I say I have been coming here since 1993. I have known Richard the owner since then. This place is like home to me. The food here is always excellent so is the service if you find yourself in Pembroke Pines and craving authentic Chinese food pay this place a visit. You will leave feeling very good and please say hello to Richard for me. I highly recommend this place

This used to be my go to Chinese restaurant but I had a very bad experience and the management had a very poor attitude about the situation. I ordered a pre dinner combo meal to go. When I got home the pork rice had a horribly rancid taste. I took one bite and called the restaurant and was told that only rice that is ordered a la carte is made fresh. She stated that if I wanted a refund I would need to bring back the food, including the egg roll and soup that came with the combo. Luckily, I didn't even bother with the soup (which I usually eat first) because the taste of the rice was so bad. With rancid rice and poor service, i am never going back!

Food and tea are "ok". This place is more than a bit dated. Looks like a geriatric convention hall at times. Not exactly a place you would bring a date to. Mediocre at best. I also wouldn't risk walking barefoot on that carpet in there. Utterly disgusting. For gods sake, spend a few bucks and replace it!

I oculdn't choose anything between like and love, so I went with love. The food is very good and you can taste the freshness. They also have authentic Chinese food, but I just stuck with the regular American version of Chinese food. I like it very much and pretty sure we will back.

I am a foodie and I have been to many, many Chinese restaurants. This place is outstanding. The food is superb. I just had Lotus roots with jumbo shrimp. What a delicacy! The prices are very reasonable, the portions are huge and the service is attentive without being obstructive. Food quality, presentation and value meet at this place.

Tried it for the first time tonight. The rice both white and fried was so burnt you smelled it coming out of the bag. The pepper steak had great flavor but was 80% peppers and onions 20% steak. The moo goo gai pan HAD NO FLAVOR and also mostly vegetables. The wonton soup was delicious so that got them 2 stars.

Mixed soup fine egg roll ok fried rice cold and over cooked ditto for white rice shrimp in lobster sauce gross overload of peas and carrots. Beef lo mein edible. Inconsistent food quality as if different cher's haves really different style. Last time for me. Service good wish I could say the same for food.

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. They now seem as if they could care less about their customers or the quality of the food they are serving to their customers. So for that reason we will be trying to find another place that has respect for their patrons. This is only my opinion.

I've been there before and its normally good. I order a pint of chicken fried rice today...and to my surprise I could smell how burnt the rice was before I even opened it. Extremely disappointed because this could've been caught before putting in a bag and handing to me. Whats crazy is that the majority of the rice doesn't look burnt, the smell is just overwhelming...like burnt popcorn. Dont think I'll be coming back here when there are so many other options available in the area.

First time ordering. Will not order again. I ordered mushroom beef but got sesame beef. The beef was fried and not well, you could taste the flour and I am gluten free so that was not good. The egg drop was very good. The other two dishes we ordered did not taste good and were cold.

We have never been in China and this place gave us a feeling about that incredible country. Exterior is very majestic with amazing decorations. Placing is also extraordinary, in the middle of nowhere. We have not tried the food in very well decorated restaurant. Museum was closed and the wind was blowing everywhere. However, this did not stop us from walking around admiring this place.

First time trying this place out and I’m glad I tried it out! The delivery service was 45 to one hour, which I was okay with. The driver was super friendly and nice! The food itself was great! I ordered the lunch combination Sesame Chicken with fried rice and an order of plain lo mein. I loved how I was able to make the chicken spicy when it’s not normally spicy. The smell of the food made me even more hungry than I already was! The lo mein is soooo good that I can just eat that by itself. The sesame chicken had a lot of flavor in it since they cooked the sauce with the chicken! Will be definitely ordering from them again!

We ordered from Dragon Gate tonight because our usual place is now closed on Tuesday. We ordered a side of steamed veggies, because the orange peel shrimp doesn't have any veggies aside from a leaf of iceberg lettuce - which is insane for nearly $15.00 and we never got the vegetables. Everything was swimming in sauce. The rice is dry. This place is way overpriced for what you get. Disappointed.

Omg the worst Chinese food every the rice is so salty they added so much soy sauce so that they can turn the rice brown it has no flavor at all it took over an hour to get delivered the it is 4 dollars for a delivery fee definitely not worth so much for trying take out I will stick to making it my kids hate it

I've been eating here for over 20 years. I found it to be the best Chinese food, at reasonable prices. However, I was unpleasantly surprised this last time. I placed my same order, Young Chow Special Fried Rice and Chicken with Broccoli. First thing, I had never seen the people at the front before. They must have been new. The man taking my order was rude and was rushing me while taking my order. After I got home, I saw that my order was completely wrong. I had specifically said, "white sauce" on the chicken broccoli, and they gave me brown sauce. Also, the Young Chow was clearly white rice and not brown rice like I requested and paid extra for. Also, it was horrible. It was watery and not enough ingredients to be Special Fried Rice. I called them and although they delivered another order of the Chicken with Broccoli, they argued that the Young Chow was brown rice. I gave the delivery man the Fried Rice and the original Chicken with Broccoli, to return to the restaurant with my note of dissatisfaction. Btw, the replaced Chicken with Broccoli didn't have white sauce, but an oily one. I believe this restaurant is under new management and after this horrible experience, I will not be going here anymore, nor do I recommend anyone to do so.

They constantly mess up my phone order. I called over the phone and asked for hot sauce. My girl confirmed in person if ask there was hot sauce? and the staff said yes. Later, we check the bag and there no hot sauce. They always mess up simple food orders. I called the manager and his staff tells him that she never said the hot sauce was in the bag. Long story short they are always messing up over the phone orders and never hold themselves accountable.

This place is money hungry it seems like the. Charge for everything to keep up with paying the rent to the establishment I used to come here a lot back when things were better like come one what Chinese cuisine you know don’t carry a jumbo then it like you Penalized for no penalized eating porking if you want shirmps it’s more money I rather spend money else where I know I’m not being ripped out my pocket the customer service is nasty here the two ladies at the front are not educated about the menu in which caused an issue she charged me for chicken wings but said if I wanted flavor it’s going to be less serving of wings I am dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend here as I woul like to due to the mere fact that when you first walk in it smell like. Foot shop and the customer service is bad and the charges are unreasonable ser or sub charges for everything

The food is so delicious. The wonton are freshly made, the soup so flavorful. I had the Mongolian beef and it was quite delicious, though not as spicy as expected. Husband had ribs and chicken, perfectly cooked and delicious. The portions were huge, the prices very reasonable. The service was outstanding, friendly and courteous. Dragon Gate is our new favorite Chinese restaurant.

What a wonderful evening! Our dinner was delicious. We selected 3 dishes from the special New Year menu. The food and wine were perfect as usual. Richard the owner and the staff visited each table welcoming us. The service was timely and anticipated our needs. Afterwards we attended the Lunar New Year parade. It was such fun. Costumes! Music! Fireworks! Every year when we go to Florida, we go to Dragon Gate for dinner each week. We sample different selections for dinner and are never disappointed.

The food was alright nothing to special about it. Went with a group of friends and for some reason my order was the only thing they messed up, twice. When i tried to ask how come they messed it up twice they simply told me "its coming just wait". Was not pleased at all with the overall experience, and would not recommend to anyone. Also the way they treated some of the employees when i waa there wasnt right, almost seemed like they broke their spirits.

They bring you out a pot of tea without even asking, & put noodles on the table right away. The silverware setup includes a soup spoon and a knife inside of the cloth napkin! Soup came out piping hot. Eggroll is a little tiny. Ordered chicken with broccoli, needed some soy sauce for flavor. Although there is a limited amount of items on the early bird, it's worth the $. The staff is attentive & friendly. Even comes with a dessert - the standard ice cream scoop or pineapple chunks! Pistachio is one of my favorites. Easy parking in a strip mall.

I just spent $61.00 plus in food here. When I got home the pepper steak was packed 75% full of onions, a few 4-5 chunks of green pepper and at the very bottom a few pieces of steak. When I called the girl who answered the phone basically suggested it was my fault. I should ask for less onions and more steak, because onions take up alot of space. And I should do so the next time I order. Not going to even start in on 8 mini shrimps in the special fried rice. Inspect the hell out of your food before you walk out the restaurant. Do not expect customer service once you have paid and left.
