We waited too late to make reservations for Valentine's day dinner so we decided to go to Carrabba's. We got there at 3:00, thinking that we would miss the rush at a later time. We were seated right away and decided on the Valentine special. Our waitress, Kayla, was excellent. She knew that my steak was overcooked without me saying anything and immediately took care of it. We were very happy with our experience at this Carrabba's and will look forward to going back soon.

I went to this location last night with a friend. I love this restaurant because they have the BEST gluten free pasta in the world. Seriously. Unfortunately, the gluten free plate I received had a gluten noodle in it. The staff was AMAZING. They were very apologetic, gave me my meal for free, and let me take home another meal. I appreciate their kindness and understanding about how serious celiac disease is. :)

A chain restaurant pretending to be an upscale place so they can charge you the prices of a much higher class restaurant. Prices are expensive, most of the food and drinks are mediocre at best, and the bathrooms were horrifying (the paper towel machine didn't even work and the cleanliness was, well, yikes. Never mind they played their telephone's on-hold music/advertisements through the bathroom speakers). Service wasn't terrible though. And I have to admit, I absolutely love the Mezzaluna ravioli in Creme Rosa sauce, even though it surely comes right out of the freezer. I wonder if I can buy it in the freezer section of my local grocery store?

Was there to celebrate a graduation. The food and our waitress was great. The manager was rude and made us feel like outsiders as he went to every single table and asked if everything was ok he never came to the table full if black people. We were the only people of color in the entire restaurant. He walked past us about 10 times and nothing. We did bring it to the attention of the OWNER. I hope he said something to his employee. Sad

Let me say first, I love Carrabba's!!! However, this visit was not good. My wife and I went this evening for dinner around 7:15p. We walked in and was not greeted by any of the 3 employees standing around the host station. I looked around because surely they were busy.. unfortunately not even a quarter of the restuarant was filled. I went to the restroom while my wife was seated. The hostess, Danielle flopped the menus and walked away. Because the seating was less than ideal and the young lady walked away, my wife moved one table over to be out of the server walkway. By the time I got back from the bathroom, my wife was still sitting patiently at the new table and no one had been by at all. I sat for a couple minutes and looked around at the many employees walking about and noone came over at all. We got up to leave and I asked for the managers business card. Danielle was greeted me with a serious stink face so I asked for the manager on duty. Patrick was nice and apologized and offered us drinks to make up for experience. I declined, thanked him for coming over, but business was lost this evening. Again I love Carrabba's, but this one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had ever. We ended up going to Outback and every single employee smiles and greeted us warmly.

We have been to several Carrabba's, but this was our first time at this location. Fettuccine Carrabba's, Chicken Marsala, and the bread were great, as usual. The server was great. The only slight disappointment was that the minestrone soup was not up to their usual standard.

Very warm, intimate family restaurant. A couple things really stand out to me about this particular Carrabba's. First, our server. Johanna. Ask for her if you go. She went beyond the extra mile to make sure we were not just "OK". but more like family. Second, when there was a major issue with my food's doneness, it was whisked to the kitchen among many apologies. The manager immediately came to speak to me, assuring not only would it be remade, it was removed from our bill. I highly recommend this Carrabba's. You won't regret it!

Zero star's!!! It made me pick one My hubby and I go every year for my birthday. We were looking forward to eating out on the patio and since I have ptsd I am very uncomfortable around people or loud crowds. We were seated outside and waited for 20 minutes (seriously). Not one person came out to check on us, take our order nothing. A server came out to go to her car and saw us ,walked back in and had them turn the outside lights on so we weren't in the dark. It was about 9:15. At 9:30 we left. Most places stop serving at 10:00 so we went to Abuelos quickly so we could still have dinner. On the way across the parking lot I called Carrabba's and spoke with the manager. She was very nonchalant about the whole situation. Now, we would have spent at least $100 and are "Very" generous tippers. But they will never know because we won't go back. Horrible way to spend my birthday just saying.

The service was excellent. could not ask for better service from the thin young dark haired, worry eye glasses and of course I'm not remembering his name, although he did tell us and we used it in our conversation. This young man could provide us with so detailed information about items on the menu. Having stomach issues with tomato sauce, he advised me as to what would be best for me. Our dinners were delicious, I had mine as suggested by our server with the sauce on the side, which was the best way for me to have it. Thanks for suggesting it, I honestly think it helped. I honestly would like to see more offerings with Alfredo sauce.

No one in the kitchen could understand English, all Mexicans. The waiter and waitress kept repeating themselves over and over and over and over, the reason the order was consistently wrong was because they couldn't understand what the hell they were saying.. either hire Mexicans who can understand English and speak English or hire someone else. It was a freaking circus to watch. But my scallops were delicious, too bad they don't give you more food, I could have ate three servings. Everything's portion control. They can at least give more pasta since it is extremely cheap. pasta potatoes and rice very cheap to purchase.

If you want to be able to sit down with your family when you had your reservation and have a relaxing meal forget this place. We waited over an hour to get seated. Our 80 year old grand parents had to stand the entire time due to lack of even a place for them to sit during the ordeal. We will never go back there again. There are equally good places to eat with MUCH better service.

Oh my gosh, I wish I could eat there all the time! I'm allergic to dairy and our waitress was exceptional double checking with the chef, completely surprising me and making alternative recommendations. Okay so my boyfriend and I came here on Easter Sunday. We got there around 3pm I believe. So it wasn’t busy at that time. We were welcomed and sat right away. Our server (forgot her name) was extremely nice. I had a peach sangria and it was delicious! Everything was good honestly and I’ll be back again in the future, thanks.

This time, it was not great. Our server was great, although she felt the need to rush even though I don't think they were that busy. The food was sub-par. I got the eggplant parmesan and it was burnt. The calamari was dry and my husband's pizza was not hot. It did not have the personal touch that a non-chain restaurant would have. Very disappointed and probably not going to Carrabba's anymore.

Dare I say I like this place better than Olive Garden?! This restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and had wonderful service. We ordered drinks first and the server let us look over the whole menu without hovering. Asparagus wrapped in bacon with a balsamic drizzle was a delicious app. I had the salad with scallops and shrimp and omg, soooo good. My husband really enjoyed his pasta dish. I wish there was a Carrabba's closer to where I live...it would be a weekly visit!!

We orderer to go and the staff made it very easy for us. We were surprised at how they pack your dinner so that when you get home you feel as if you're in the resturaunt. When didn't realize that they forgot our soups until we got home but when I called to tell them we were happily surprised to hear that they would deliver the soups to us (no questions asked about how far away we lived) and comp us a dessert and coupon for our next visit. We would have been happy to just come back for the soup but they really went above and beyond!

Our server Amanda was wonderful however. Not only was my sweet tea sour. My med rare steak was raw. Not even cooked. And even after recooking it. Was still raw. And was also the same steak as the one I sent back. It looked like they had put more sauce on top of it and gave it back. This place is so good. I love the chicken soup when I’m sick! I just miss something they used to have seasonally. It was a dip that had cheese and bread to dip. It was honestly my favorite. I’m not sure why they got rid of it because a lot of people enjoyed it as well.

I really wasn't expecting such a good meal. My friend was treating me to dinner, so what the heck, take me anywhere. I have had mediocre meals at their competition, you know, great bread sticks and salad place. So I was pleasantly surprised by our meals which was his first time at a Carrabba's too. He had the spicy chicken soup and lobster ravioli as an entree and stated it was very good. I had a salad and Spiedino de mare (I had to look this up) which was shrimp and scallops in a lemon sauce. Really good. Even though I prefer mom and pop Italian restaurants, I would definately go back. And great tiramisu and cheesecake for our desserts.

Went because I had a gift card and what a pleasant surprise. It was a special night.. buy any pizza for $9.99 and get $10 off a bottle of wine. My best friend and I hadn't seen each other in a couple of months and we were ready to celebrate. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, loved the pizza, and of course we only drank a little wine because I was driving so they happily sealed it up so we could take it home. I typically will NOT go out to an Italian restaurant as I am Italian and I will make authentic food at home. However, we decided to give it a try after having a bad experience at a nearby establishment and leaving. So, It was pretty busy and we sat at the bar last night where we received immaculate service from both of the bartenders they were very friendly, personable and upbeat throughout our experience. Immediately getting our drinks, bread, soup, salad and appetizer it was a great start. After that, our drinks stayed refilled, our orders came out and the food was very good! I got grilled chicken and penne. The grilled chicken had a lot of flavor and was not dry at all. The penne and sauce was left on the side as it had very little to no flavor! Overall, it was a great experience!

My meal was great! Hubbs was disappointed with his chicken parm. Seems like since we were last there they have a different chicken supplier, or are using frozen "chicken meat". Plus the cheese on top was also a cheaper version than previously used. Upside his salad was good. I was totally satisfied with my Tuscan 6 oz steak and spinach side! However my ceasar salad was not the freshest. The ceasar dressing however is the bomb!

I always walk into this restaurant getting a lovely welcoming smell of all the wonderful things the chefs are cooking in the kitchen. The waiters/ waitresses are always super nice and friendly. The soup is fantastic, the bread is crisp and the perfect temperature. And the food outstanding and full of flavor and deliciousness. This is a great restaurant for Italian lovers and overall a great place for a great meal.

Our waiter, whose name was Paul (but our check said Robert S.), was not polite to us. He was mostly smarmy to those in our party who had not been to Carraba's before. To our friend who had card trouble at time of pay, he was snarky rather than helpful. Also, the food was not worth the money or worth the time it took the chew it. Evidently the eggplant parmesan my partner had tasted good, but did not come with pasta, which was weird. Go wait 45 minutes at the Olive Garden instead.

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened. I especially enjoyed it when Danny ran it. Never ever had 1 single bad experience the entire time he was owner. Ever since he left the place has fallen apart. All servers are different. The store looks ran down. The food is nowhere as good as before. My grandmother likes extra sauce on her pasta. They hardly put any on it and when you ask for a side they give you attitude and give you a joke portion at that. Pretty sure I also got food poisoning from here last Sunday. Let’s just say after 6+ years of coming here, I won’t be back

Went to Olive Garden and there was an 1 & 1/2 hour wait. Went next door to Carrabba’s and hardly anyone was there and was seated immediately. Now I know why, ordered spaghetti and meatballs and was the worst tasting watered down meal ever. To top it off is was $16.00, and my tea was 3.29. What an over priced meal that had no taste at all. I hadn’t been to a Carrabba’s in awhile but now I know why. Waiter was great.

Not what I expected for this caliber of a restaurant. On the bright side though, my grilled asparagus were very good. Service was not too attentive, but I suppose to be expected at a busy bar.

They have great made from scratch food here. You will not be disappointed. My husband and I went there the other day and there was something minor wrong with my chicken soup. The manager Richard Vargas not only took it off our bill, but came back and gave us a gift card! ! NO other restaurant goes out of their way like this. He was genuinely concerned. Why wouldn't you give your business to a restaurant that puts their customers first.

Disappointing because it used to be a LOT better. 7 waiters, 10 tables and we had to wait 12 minutes to order drinks or get water. Waiter didn't take or main food order until after apps we're done, so we had to wait, again. Zucchini was limp and cold. He brought two of the same soup even though we ordered different. And "same" soups looked different, so standards at the pass are lacking. At least the sausage soup was as good as I remember (add more pepper to make it pop). Kids meatballs we're bland and cold... So in conclusion, they have a lot of work to do to get the food quality and customer service skills to an acceptable level for return customers.

But you can obviously see they are trying to increase profits by making more options and then charging for each option.

I love carrabbas. But tonight’s dish was extremely subpar. My ravioli dish came out with no sauce on it. The ravioli was hardly even coated in it. I asked for more sauce, it took a decent amount of time for more sauce to come out, but I assumed it was because they needed to make it. The sauce they brought out was room temperature, so when I put it on my already cold pasta, the whole dish was just cold. They should’ve taken the whole dish back and coated the pasta back into a hot sauce instead of bringing me a bowl of room temperature sauce.

Both had seasonal selections. One had tuscan grilled sirloin with shrimp and scallops. Other had salmon with lump crab/breadcrumbs/herbs. Both had sides of sauteed broccoli. Both started with salads...one caesar salad, one house italian salad. All prepared nicely and as ordered. All very tastey. (Current, limited time special is for $10, one could order a meal of equal, or lesser, value to take home. Needless to say, it was an offer that we couldn't refuse! Dinner next night!)

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday and just had a bad experience all around. It seems like everything has gotten more expensive and lowered portions. Our bill was $80 and I think I got maybe 3 tiny chunks of sausage in my soup and 2 chunks of lobster in my lobster ravioli. The ravioli itself was rubbery and I got a whopping 9 raviolis. The salad was whack. My girlfriend got a pasta dish that looked like someone's 2 day old leftovers. It was suppose to come with a sauce that she's very familiar with. It did not. The waiter argued with her about what the sauce is (he was wrong). Really the only thing they haven't totally screwed up is the bread and oil they serve complimentary.

The wife and I ate here on Wednesday evening and had the worst experience ever at a Carrabba's as far as quality of food goes. I had the lasagna and veal parmesan with a salad and a side order of Alfredo. The veal parmesan was over cooked and dried out on the edges to a crunchy consistency, the lasagna tasted like frozen Stouffers lasagna. The Alfredo noodles was very dry and seemed to be sitting there for a while. The worst experience ever at a Carrabba's. The wife had lobster ravioli in a cream sauce. The so called cream sauce was more like cream soup. The salad was the best part of the whole meal. If this is the direction that Carrabba's is headed with their quality of food and cooking methods, I would just prefer to go to Olive Garden and pay about 30% less for a meal. Always have chosen Carrabba's in the past over Olive Garden because of the quality of the food was tremendously better. Use to be worth paying the higher prices. But not anymore, Olive garden has just as good quality or perhaps even better compared to tonight's meal at Carrabba's .

Between the flickering light above our table, the knife that was dropped right by daughter-in-law-s arm, and the hair in her salad, it wasn't my best dining experience. Normally my experience here when I visit Charleston is great but this time it was terrible! We went for dinner to celebrate my nephews graduation. We had a party of about 15 people. We were told we would have two servers and only had one. She did her best to serve us but couldn't keep up. It was 30 minutes before we even got water. Drinks and appetizers took about an hour. The rest of the service was downhill from there. This one experience was enough to make me not ever want to eat here again when visiting Charleston

I went here for a date night years ago and remembered it being so good, but on a recent visit, I realized just how bad it is. I had always seen it as a slightly nicer version of Olive Garden oh, maybe a better atmosphere, but the food was really really disappointing and overpriced. It tasted like a freezer meal pasta with canned mushrooms and probably already prepared canned sauce. Even the cocktail we ordered was weak and probably watered down. Our server was incredibly slow even though it was late and there were very few customers. Will not be going back here again. They charge prices of an upscale Italian restaurant with all fresh ingredients, but the food tastes like something a college student with no knowledge of cooking would make. It tastes like mole food, just not served in the food court.

The food was very good, which was the only positive thing about the experience! The service was terrible! After ordering we waited 20 minutes before the waiter announced that they were out of lasagna, and it would have to be made, which would take 10 minutes. This turned into another 20 minute wait. I asked the waiter why I wasn't notified right away, his snotty reply was "Well I told you as soon as I found out". Yeah right! Twenty minutes after the order was placed?? Everyone filled up on bread. They did give us deserts to rectify the problem, but after dealing with a rude waiter, and spending an hour and a half with a six year old child on slow night, We will NEVER be back again!

Not impressed. Ice cold draft coming in the front entrance every time the door was opened made sitting anywhere within 20+ feet of the door very uncomfortable. Soup (sausage and lentil) came out warm, not hot. Flavor was ok. My rigatoni was served with a warm, not hot, sauce and Italian sausage balls that had not been heated and had a cold center. Sent that back and the next one did come out piping hot. I did like that dish, the goat cheese slices on top gave the sauce a delicious twist. Unfortunately, when the check came, that too had an error, which I had to point out and get corrected. So, overall, it was ok, but not a place I'll rush back to.

Also forgot one of the food items that she charged us for. the reason why I came here in the first place is because they had the half off and half drink special the past three other times that I had come here the bartender pretty much decided to scam us and charge us full price for the apps and the drinks that we bought. I asked the manager why every other time I came here I was only charge half, he said he had no clue and couldn't do anything about it. So needless to say will not be coming back here the service and the manager we're horrible.

First time going to a Carrabba's. Sat at the bar. Got the chicken parm. It was very good but the portions could be bigger to reflect the high price. They offer you bread to dip in olive oil with spices. That was nice. The place is nice and the service from the bartender Amy was awesome! She was very attentive and friendly. I have always wanted to try it, but I most likely will not be going back due to the high prices.

When we first walked in we were sat promptly at a pretty decent table. Our waitress was very attentive in the beginning but I did have to ask for some refills from a manager. The food was pretty good in the service for the most part was decent.

I can't have gluten or dairy. The manager and waiter both worked with me to make sure I had an enjoyable dinner. There weren't any appetizers I could eat, so when the manager saw the other people at my table eating their appetizers and bread, he brought me some strawberries (after double checking that they were fine for me) so I'd have something to eat as well. When a mistake was made, they were quick to correct it and gave me something additional. And the gluten free pasta was the BEST gluten free pasta I have ever had. It just tasted like really good regular pasta! Thanks for taking such good care of me!

I love Carrabba's, but this visit was not up to their usual standards. The food and service were both average. Once we received our food, we didn't see our waiter until we were ready for our check. This was a management issue. I could see how many tables he was expected to take care of and it was a lot! Also, the flavor of my fish was very bland and my asparagus was cold and raw. We probably won't return. I was very disappointed.

We were in on Saturday evening, March 10, 2018. The service and food were exceptional. I ordered the 6oz sirloin rare. The waitress waited until I cut into the steak before leaving and without a word she snatch up my plate and returned it to the kitchen. Apparently they gave me someone else steak which cooked medium. Within minutes my steak came to the table with an apology. The steak was cooked beautifully. My partner also enjoyed his meal. After we were done eating, the manager came to our table to ask how our meal was and how we were doing. I thought this was a nice touch. This was our first visit and def won't be the last. Service was great, food was reasonably priced and delicious. The only negative that I would say is the lighting. LED lights over our table were blinding, but at least I was able to see the menu! I highly recommend!

Great food, overall. The kitchen staff seems to be newer so there is a learning curve. The Owner is a great guy, always checks to see if everything is good and if it's not he gets it fixed. I have never had perfect service and perfect food at any place but I will always go back to a place that apologies for any errors and fixes them immediately.

Of all the chain Italian style restaurants, Carrabba's stands out in every aspect. From the wood fired grill to the fresh, creative sauces, I have never been disappointed by this establishment. Service is always prompt and attentive. Fresh bread with olive oil and herbs for dipping is immediately brought to the table. Far better than the breadsticks at the other place. We shared an appetizer of zucchini fritte that was hot, fresh and not greasy at all. I ordered Pollo Rosa Maria that was perfect cooked and seasoned. The breast meat was moist and tender with a kiss of grilled flavor from the wood fire. The stuffing of prosciutto and cheese was a welcome touch, and the mushroom sauce was bright and velvety. Prices are in line with service and quality. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. I recommend the Tuscan grilled chicken. It was cooked to perfection. My husband even liked it and he is not a fan of chicken at all. Jo took great care of us. She was friendly and attentive but not bothersome. We were seated immediately on a Friday evening around 6pm which really surprised me because the parking lot was full. We will definitely return.

We were sitting right next to the host station. Waited 30 min and no one talked to us. No drinks and no food. But the three girls at the host station talking about text messages helped themselves to drinks while they were busy talking. When we looked over to them they went and hid in the room for delivery’s right next to the host station and the door. We walked out and no one noticed. I find this a great value, not really a inexpensive restaurant, but the food and service is excellent, something found in more expensive places. I like the bread, soft inside with a thin crisp crust. Some might find the seasoning a bit strong, but this is the type of Italian I like. Deserts are very good.

Horrible night. An hour wait for an 8 top. An hour and 33 minutes while at the table to get our meals. Our 6 year old grand daughter got her meal 10 minutes after us - for a simple spaghetti! Pasta was clumped and overcooked. Fish was dry, over seasoned and over cooked. Chicken Parm was bland and over dressed with marinara. Waitress was good, but the night overall was rotten. My family will not be going back.

I really liked this eatery but with a couple of issues. First the good news. The food was terrific. The portions were much more than generous. The service was also right on point. This location although I felt had a minimalist feel was both clean and well maintained. My issues were first that we were seated near the bar and a group of women, pretty drunk nearly ruined our meal due to all the F bombs dropped and I am a Contractor! Second the food was a little pricey. I will most certainly return but I won't bring my grandchildren. As always, Enjoy!

Love the Marsala steak and garlic mashed potatoes here. Fresh salads and pasta are delicious too. The dinner portions are large, so you have yummy leftovers. The free bread to dip in spices and olive oil is served immediately. Sangria is a favorite here.

We went on Valentine's day so we had a bit of a wait but it was less than they estimated. We didn't do call ahead seating, although I probably would next time. Our server was prompt and attentive. Our food was piping hot and delicious. I ordered a dish that was listed as "new" on the menu - pasta georgio. It had penne pasta, bell peppers, a tomato cream sauce and meatballs, baked with mozzarella cheese. Very good!

I have been here before and was satisfied, however today's visit will likely be my last. The staff was frankly rude, and the foos was below average. There were 2 parties besides ours, and we waited 45 minutes for our lunch. The waitress took a not so great experience and compounded into something far worse. Pitiful.

The food looks the same like in Naples Carrabbas but it doesn’t taste good. Nudel dishes were too dry, our favourite Mama’s Mandola soup is mostly water. We were at this location 3-4 times now and every time the same. No lunch menus like in other locations. Disappointing..
