A hidden gem! Lunch fare feature a 2-tier fixed price 3-course menu. Pumpkin soup, shrimp & asparagus risotto, tres guava & cheese dessert - exquisite! Service was impeccable and complimentary valet parking. Looks like they have an enticing happy hour, so will definitely be back to try. Strongly recommend.

Service was extremely slow. We were a large party however we did not get our food for nearly 2 and half hours into our time there. The waiter was very nice however the service just plain slow! The food is over priced for what it is. Its not bad but not great. I spent nearly 200.00 on a dinner for two with 9 drinks between us. Not crazy but for what you get in terms of seevice and food quality its over priced. The kicker is at the end of the night instead of asking how the check was to split they brought us the bill and had us split it with what we were responsible for so they knew what to charge each card. Instead of splitting the bill per couple they brought us a calculator and had us calculate our bills with gratuity included and add everyones total so to make aure nothing was missing. I guess its not bad if you want an over priced dinner and to practice your math afterwards to make sure you can still add and multiply, hey at least they provided us the calculator.

The decor and ambience are amazing. There is a pianist, who is incredible and talented. The food is superb and happy hour prices are affordable. We sat at the bar are and Victor, our waiter, was the best! We had the risotto with sweet plantains, black beans and porks... Wow!!! A definite come back!

It has taken me a while to write this review since it is a place that has so much going for it. They have an excellent display of art with perfect lighting, there is a pianist w a excellent repertoire but the atmosphere was missing. Maybe it was an odd day being a Thursday there where few patrons but having a pianist and then sitting us at the very end of the restaurant where we did not see them at all made no sense it would have been so much better if the three tables would have around the entertainer. Service was good but erratic the to waiters came asking about our order a few times as when they were in a hurry to go home. If there's ever to much of an attentive service this is the place. We made reservations for a Saturday night and had to change them 2 times and ended up getting there late! When we got there the hostess was very nice did not seem to care and sat us right away. Luckily because the place was full! Loved the piano music and the food was delicious! Especially the pulpo a la catula. Great service overall too. Will definitely go back.

As always the service at Cafe Catula is impeccable which makes the whole expierience twice as nice. If you get home early and want to go out for some drinks and a light bite try their happy hour. Cafe Catula has a happy hour Monday thru Saturday 4-8 PM with a happy hour menu and drinks half price...cheers.

Great service and food! Went there for a birthday and had a great time. Servers were really nice and attentive. Loved the piano live music! The food was really good and they were very open/flexible to take away or substitute food items on a dish. For example- I didn't want rice so they added extra veggies and no extra charge. Their bread with seasoned butter is delicious! Their selection of appetizer is great! Also, they have free parking!

What a unique restaurants. A great place to come for excellent fish and seafood. I had the salmon with pears and it was outstanding. I’ve never had a salmon prepared like that. And It was delicious. The restaurant has a mini art gallery with beautiful bronze sculptures and art from local artist decorating the restaurant. A unique place to come have dinner in Kendall. Also open for lunch.

Who will think that in this part of town there is a little very unique place where you can have dinner in a middle of an Art Gallery , surrounded by beautiful bronze statues and colorful painting ......the dishes are prepared with a fusion of o flavors and spices from all different latin countries from the Basque Country , San Salvador , Italy , Cuba etc.......

Elegant dining. The valet parking was perfect. The venue served as an art museum too. Waiters and waitresses gave service with a smile! As the meal was extra tasty. As a bonus we witnessed our daughter get proposed to there that evening. Perfect setting...

This has become our favorite restaurant. Been here 3 times and the food is always amazing and service is above and beyond any upscale restaurant. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are always delicious and have a unique twist to your typical cuban/spanish food. Add to that soft live music and a legitimate art exhibit with paintings and sculptures. This place is amazing.

I can only speak for the bar but for my first visit it’s going pretty well. They dont have Aperol Spritzers on the menu but the bartender made me one thats pretty yummy! Cherry garnish instead of an orange but thats cool. Great ambiance. Love the fine art around the room. The music though is what made me take out my phone and write this review. It’s the bomb. So far its been a mix of instrumental and jazz and..... and...what I can only describe (the Prosecco has kicked in and I’m a bit at a lost for words) as Caribbean soul. I read on the website that there’s live music too but for now Im digging what they have playing. I will definitely be back. The wine list/lunch menu/dinner menu are super on point. Rabo ravioli!?!? Yes please!

The restaurant is very good, quality food for the price, which was not that bad. I was there for lunch and they have 1 menu at $16 and another at $21, you choose soup or salad, a main dish and dessert, the choices varies depending on the price of the menu, but you have several different options, from pasta to chicken and fish or beef. Overall is a nice place with a nice ambiance, there's a gentleman playing piano, and you can admire the art all around the place. My only issue was that the parking is not very well indicated and you can get kind of confused, they have valet parking, which is free for lunch, and you can leave your car starting al 12pm, when the restaurant opens.

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant. It has a wonderful elegant atmosphere that is also very warm and cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with a glass of California Merlot.Fresh baked rolls and garlic butter arrive.The salads arrived next and were light and fresh. We ordered fresh snapper and ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese. Both were so full of flavor. You could tell with one bite how fresh the ingredients were. For desert we had coconut flan and crepes with nutella. I really look for to returning and trying more menu items ❤❤❤ @stephaniehino
