VERY UNHAPPY WITH FOOD AND SERVICE. We live 12 miles away and decided to order online for pickup. I was impressed with the $5 coupon offer but couldn't apply with the order so I noted this and selected pay with cash so I could inquire at pickup. I arrived on time matching the order. I mentioned the coupon code to the cashier and she said she had no clue what I was talking about so I said ok no worries. Then she informed me that the order wasn't ready and it would be about ten minutes. No problem.... But it turned out to be 20 minutes later. I carried the food to the car and fortunately checked to make sure I had everything. The gumbo was missing so I went back in and it was still sitting on the back counter where the cashier was bagging my order. Made it home with the food and unfortunately the entire family was dissatisfied with the food. The pound of Pulled pork had slabs of fat and gristle and tasted more like slow oven cooked rather than BBQ. Fries were soggy with oil, bread for the beans and rice sausage plate we're missing. I absolutely loved the flavor of the gumbo roux. I guess the biggest disappointment was the cashier seemed to not care about providing quality customer service or maybe she was just new and not trained appropriately. Im a small business owner and I hope you can appreciate honest feedback as much as I do... Even when it's not fun to hear. It's an opportunity to correct and adjust the things you may be unaware of. I almost left without pie saying "I dont need no pie" Then my inner fat man turned me around and I picked up some peanut butter pie and the espresso coffee pie cheesecake....oh lord. If you leave without getting pie, you are an idiot. I was almost an idiot, but then I got pie. Did I share that pie with the wife and kids? NOPE! Thats my pie! Worth the drive from the midwest to FL just for pie. No kidding. Get pie.

So good. We were in town for a wedding/vacation and came on the last day (Friday) to get some pork ribs. I wish we had come the first day because there's quite a few things on their menu that look amazing, we would have definitely made more trips. Me and my wife split a plate of ribs and a cochon sandwich, and got a grilled cheese for the kids. It was a good amount of food with the sides included, but it was so good we didn't have to dig too deep to find the willpower to put it all down. The ribs were very tender and moist, and come without sauce which I prefer. They were a little more fall off the bone than I prefer (I like a little tug), but it didn't take anything away from them as they were delicious. I came for the ribs, which were great, but the cochon sandwich blew me away and is a must try. My wife's isn't much of a carnivore but she said she'd come back to Florida for that sandwich alone. I'd have to agree. Just get it, you wont regret it. Everything we ate here was really good. I hope we find ourselves down this way again sometime so I can stop in again.

Very good Roast Beef Po Boy. Wife loves the Jive turkey sandwich, it was a special they made for a week but officially not on the menu anymore. It's the best reuben in the area. They'll make it for you if you ask. If you want an appetizer, TRY the pizza fries, they're awesome. Heard the ribs were excellent, will try them next time I go there. I usually call ahead and get it to go.

This resturant has the best food on the key with the most consistency. The shrimp Gumbo is the best I have had on the Gulf Coast in the 19 years I have lived here. Po Boys, smoked chicken, and blackened are all very good. The cheesecakes and pies are equally as good. The biggest issue is deciding what to order. IT IS ALL GOOD!

Don’t understand the raves. Maybe coz we came in the last hour but the ribs were dried out and fatty. The baked beans had a good flavor but were very mushy. The BBQ sandwich bun and sauce were good but again, the meat was dry. The onion rings were mostly breading. The BBQ sauce was the best thing about the place. Oh, and the waitress was very nice.

Butch’s Bistro & BBQ, is on target! If your in town or visiting the the Navy base, than, you need to swing by here. They are about 15 minutes away, and have food for all your taste buds. The homemade sauces are spot on. Guy Fieri, needs to swing by and taste the BBQ.

The food actually is pretty good, however the lack of professionalism in the kitchen is beyond disturbing. Cut off shirts, no hair nets or hats, gloves are worn by some employees yet they touched money then food without changing them. Serve safe rules are obviously ignored and the health department should certainly look into the kitchens staff....

This quaint, small bistro in Perdido Key was a great find for us! The gumbo is great, as well as the pork tacos! Can't wait to try the Muffeletta Po-boy on our next trip. The 2-fer Tuesday and Thursday specials make Butch's more affordable compared to most other places.

I have been 2 times thus far and birth times the food has been great. I get the bbq pork sandwich with fries and corn nuggets. My little one gets the grilled cheese sandwich. The menu is pretty big for such a small restaurant. They have homemade desserts. The walls are covered with local art work that's for sale. Limited parking and inside seating but the employees are really nice and friendly. The food is really good. They don't skimp on the meat for the sandwich and the bbq sauce is good. Next time I visit I do want to try the bbq egg rolls.

This place is amazing! Some of the best barbecue I’ve had ever. They have specials daily and is always packed. The varieties and options is limitless. Paid a hefty penny for our meal to carry out and take back to the condo after being exhausted from the days events. Didnt get our mac anc cheese and chili, instead of bbq wings got plain wings. So instead of being able to enjoy our evening meal and relaxing for the evening, had to worry about going back out to get what they forgot. Awesome place food is perfect! We are from Louisiana and I can honestly say this place is authentic Cajun! They had way too much food to try at once but we will definitely come back next time we are in town. Decided we just wanted to grab something quick and close by....well, it was quick and it was close by, it was also really good! I had the grouper basket (a special) which was delicious. The seasoned fries were equally good. Hubby had jerk chicken tacos and was pleasantly surprised by both size and taste. We chatted with wait staff and were informed that they have now started serving breakfast. The homemade sauces and desserts are also amazing. We are only in the area for a few weeks, but we will definitely be going back and recommending Butch's to others.

I went to this place that’s really hard to miss if you’re not paying attention. It’s in a little shopping center. I got the sandwich on the front of the menu that starts with a C and it was so good. This place should remove the word "BBQ" from their name. I had the Texas Roadhouse burger. My wife had the Cali Burrito, and my 2 year old had a kids PB&J with french fries. The Texas Roadhouse was the worst of everything on the table. The brisket on it was the worst brisket I've had in my life. I ended up taking it off the burger. I was disappointed because I watched the owner bring in the smoked meats from the small pellet smoker in the front. The rub was not apparent, the brisket was cut too thinly, and it was overcooked by hours- giving it a very rubbery texture. It had a nice smoke ring to it but the Smokey flavor was missing. The burger also featured a cold slice of cheddar which would have been more inviting had it been melted. The Cali burrito was underwhelming. The chicken was moist and flavorful but it lacked in other ingredients and seasoning and the fries almost ruined it. The PB&J was, well, a PB&J. The bread they use is very soft so that was a plus. The fries are a huge disappointment. They were dark in color, as if being friend in old, dirty oil. The Cajun seasoning needs salt badly. Overall, my french fry-loving 2 year old wouldn't even eat them. Just a completely disappointing meal. They don't have soda machines, which is almost a must for any restaurant. The service was nice and the facility was clean. I liked that I could see their ingredients in the fridge and it was clean and well organized. Prices are appropriate. All in all, it was not a place I'd recommend but good effort by the staff and owners. Lots of room to improve, but they also have the potential to be great if they made small improvements.

Prices are to high... Tuseday 2/fer specials are a rip-off. Simply product price x 2. When I asked about dressing for my 30.00 wing order. I was met with distane. Not only that, when I get home and open my order I find. Over salted, Dry - Reheated. And 1 peice short on my order of 12 wings. I have over 15 years experience in the BBQ industry in management and consulting. What I had today was an absolute disgrace to the business. The white discoloration seen on the bone in the image below Is indicative proof that the wings served to me today we're chilled (undobtedly in a walk in or reach in cooler) and re heated. Formerly known in the industry as Re Con protien. Or aka made YESTERDAY. Holding over protein from a previous day to save on waste is LAZY, CHEAP, AND DISGUSTING. Now. It only takes about 2 hours to prepare and smoke a batch of wings depending of course on brine style temps etc. There is no plausable reason under the sun! Even with a 12 or 24 hr brine why I or any one else should have to pay even $1.00 for someone elses's pure unadulterated lazyness. Whoever is managing this establishment should be blacklisted and FIRED for Incompetence, Neglect, Mismanagement. And most of all. Asking me to pay premium prices for garbage!!! Good potential. Roten experience!!!!

The place was very small. The fries were super soggy. The pulled pork was fatty and exetremely greasy. Im really not sure how they have good reviews. The drinks didn’t have refills. They are SUPER OVER PRICED. Don’t recommend it at all.

BLUF: DELICIOUS burgers! If you haven't tried stuffing your face with a week's worth of calories from this place, you're missing out on life! The pimento cheese and onion rings on the burger makes a world of difference. It's an explosion of flavor and savory goodness! The staff are incredibly sweet with that southern hospitality we all know and love. The desserts are second to none. I highly recommend their blueberry cheesecake if they have it.

I have been to this restaurant and the food was very tasty! The sauce they have is absolutely delicious with a flavor that can't be duplicated, however a recent visit disappointed me. An employee preparing the food was not wearing gloves, my friend actually got sick which may or may not have been a direct result of the restaurant but definitely suspect. It is a shame because I really liked this restaurant, but I cannot compromise with food safety and health. My friend attempted to post her experience and it was removed, just trying to give an honest review.
