I am not going to lie. The food was good and delicious, but the service was horrible. When I got there I have to wait like 20 min before someone can take my order. The restaurant was not even full to understand, but a lot of the waitress were just walking or "cleaning".. I asked for hot sauce and It never arrives. But what really bothers me is that the waitress Stephanie as soon as my partner finish, she did not even ask if she can remove the plates and she did.. she was trying to rush us to live.. and when I told her that we do not want dessert she look at me like I should do it.. Like I say.. the food was perfect.. but the experience -10. I hope they can do some changes to come back..

When I asked her for a minute she stood by our table staring, making all of us feel rushed When it was time for us to pay, she reached over me to grab the check and didn’t excuse herself. The food was great but would likely not return due to the lack of service.

We had a miscommunication with our reservation the first time we went here. I reached out to the restaurant and they promptly resolved the issue and invited us to visit them again. We had an amazing meal! Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful! They were so busy and still very attentive to us and working so hard to make sure all of their customers had a great experience. The hostess was especially nice and helpful! We appreciate the great service and meal we had here. Best Latin fusion around! We loved the plantains with shrimp, fried rice, pork belly arepa, and dulce de leche crepe. We will definitely visit again!

Truffle Burger was delicious and flavorful. Might of had just a little too much truffle oil. Truffle oil is a strong flavor and a little goes a long way. Burger was still great. The chicken and rice was also flavorful and fufilling. Place was very busy which I didn't mind waiting since the food looked fresh. If I wasn't so full I would of ordered one of those amazing looking milkshakes. Great spot for great fresh food, I look forward to going to the Orlando location.

Their Bocas burger is huge, 2 patties huge. With a egg and bacon all over it. Not a bad burger but if you should try a wok dish first. Make sure to end it with a milk shake. Each one they have is great and enough for 3 people.

I visited this location for the first time and the HYPE is real, that’s all I can say. I had the appetizer sampler to start, it has 8 mini arepas and 5 cheese finger, 100% recommended. The grilled skirt steak they have at this place is completely out of this world, so soft and juicy, my boyfriend ate the noodles from the ocean and he was literally saying that it was one of the best sea foods ever. The Oreo churro milkshake is a must try. But the best about this place is the service, staff is awesome and really professional, can’t wait to go back.

Among the couple of times we have gone to actually eat at the restaurant, this latest experience was by far the worst. Long wait time, about an hour, regardless of ordering our food as soon as we sat down. We were told that the food was taking longer due to an issue with the rice, then 20 more minutes passed for us to be told the issue was that they had new cooks in kitchen and then they were doing what they could to rush the food out. Yea no thank you. Would recommend to order online then pick up rather than to sit down at the actual restaurant.

Boca's Grill Kendall has been in the rotation of Friday Team Breakfast places since shortly after they opened. The consensus after today is to stop going here. The reasons are; The quality of the prepared meal is not even close to what it was. The place is really expensive for breakfast, especially given the quality of the product meal. The coffee was awful! Didn't matter if it was a Cafe Americano, Cortadito or Cafe con leche, it was not good. The orange juice was very good, tasted fresh squeezed but it too was pricey for what you got. Can't speak to lunch and dinner. Maybe with a change of cook and staff during those meals the experience is better. But for breakfast, not so much. Response to the Owner. No, I do not remember the waiters name. We were there ~08:30, Friday 01 March. As my co-worker posted above, we ordered by picture. I chose the $4.99 breakfast w/1 Cortadito and 1 Cafe Americano. The fried eggs were crispy on the bottom, the bacon and ham were ok and the Arepa was really good and hot. The Cortadito was okay, I'd have liked it warmer but the Cafe Americano had a taste I've never had with coffee. I've worked all over the world and have drank coffee where ever I've been, that Cafe Americano was awful. As I wrote in my original post, Bocas Kendall was on our rotation for team breakfasts. I cant speak for my co-workers, I wont be back. Too many places to eat in Miami to pay $20+ for a bad breakfast.

Negative: 1 No coffee spoon, 2 not once the waitress ask if we need something or all OK?, 3 when ask for american coffee the served a diluted 2.50 espresso that in the end it was not charged, 4 when the bill was delivered the only thing he said was "here are the tip options: 18, 20 or 30%", 5 My plate was white enamel surfaced all cracked around exposing many black iron areas - never expected/ Plus: good music, clean, very good 16.50 Beef Lomo, good overall food.

Appetizer was the Cachapas, it was like a stack of pancakes but Arepas instead and each layer had cheese in between with even more cheese on top and delicious shredded pork. We had Chichas to drink, it's a cinnamon rice milk but super thick. I was expecting something like Mexican Horchata but this was thicker almost like straight up sweetened condensed milk. It was very yummy but probably better to share as a dessert than a drink order. For the entree we ordered the Parilla Mixta Bocas Grill and a side of truffle fries. We shared everything among 2 adults and 1 toddler but it was more than enough for 1 or 2 more adults. The leftovers made a delicious breakfast. All of the staff was friendly and attentive, we will definitely return to try more of the menu.

This is one of my favorite places in Kendall. Waiting to be seated, in my opinion, is very quick even when the restaurant is full. 15 minute wait is definitely not bad compared to other places. The service is prompt and the waiter, Fernando was able to give us some great guidance and was also very helpful. He did such an excellent job. What you order is exactly what you get and the food is AMAZING and perfectly cooked. I recommend this place to everyone, trust me you will not regret it!!

The kitchen has to step up their game as they seem to hit and miss more than usual. We order a cocinero burger for pick up (4/12/19) at around 8pm. We specifically told over the phone the patty should be medium, the person taking the order confirm by saying "cocinero burger medium". However, when my wife started to eat the burger all she can taste was the burned flavor of an over done patty. It is a shame as all the amazing flavors this burger usually has are overpower by the burned taste, it makes it impossible to enjoy at all. The service is usually very good, the menu is great but the kitchen is not consistent forcing you to create the habit of double checking the order before you leave the restaurant and thinking twice about ordering again.

I asked for my meat cooked medium. When it arrived it was fully cooked so I asked politely to be taken back which the waitress did. My wife and I had the "Parillada Mixta". Assuming from the pictures on instagram, we thought we were going to get what we paid for. Boy were we wrong. First of all in less than 15 minutes it was on the table. Then we looked at the Yuca. It was stiff, stale and cold. The arepa fritas seemed as if they were sitting for a an hour or so. The meat tasted as if tgey already have it cooked and they have it warming on the grill. The chicken was dry and stiff. The only thing we enjoyed was the chorizo becaise it really was cooked on the spot and their guacamole. Other than that, we were extremely dissapointed. Parillada's are a plate I love to buy whenever its available at a restaurant that we visit. I never mind the price as long as its up to par. For the quality of this parillada, it should be given away. You can't serve paying customer precooked and warmed up food. Especially if you are restaurant like this. Very disappointed, we thought it was going to be worth it. Needless to say we wont be visiting again. We didn't bother to give the complaint, one because what are they gong to do? Make a whole new parillada? How are restaurants nowadays in Miami when you complain? Cooks will spit on your food and what not. So no, Im good. I rather take the hit in my pocket, never spend my money there again and leave them a review. Hopefully they read this and not repeat themselves with someone else.

My wife and I had the "Parillada Mixta". Assuming from the pictures on instagram, we thought we were going to get what we paid for. Boy were we wrong. First of all in less than 15 minutes it was on the table. Then we looked at the Yuca. It was stiff, stale and cold. The arepa fritas seemed as if they were sitting for a an hour or so. The meat tasted as if tgey already have it cooked and they have it warming on the grill. The chicken was dry and stiff. The only thing we enjoyed was the chorizo becaise it really was cooked on the spot and their guacamole. Other than that, we were extremely dissapointed. Parillada's are a plate I love to buy whenever its available at a restaurant that we visit. I never mind the price as long as its up to par. For the quality of this parillada, it should be given away. You can't serve paying customer precooked and warmed up food. Especially if you are restaurant like this. Very disappointed, we thought it was going to be worth it. Needless to say we wont be visiting again. We didn't bother to give the complaint, one because what are they gong to do? Make a whole new parillada? How are restaurants nowadays in Miami when you complain? Cooks will spit on your food and what not. So no, Im good. I rather take the hit in my pocket, never spend my money there again and leave them a review. Hopefully they read this and not repeat themselves with someone else.
