1st time trying. Food was good. Had the Saturday morning breakfast buffet. Its small but enough choices. Scrambled eggs (which are difficult to keep fresh on a buffet) were nice and not overcooked, bacon, really flavorful meaty sausage, pancakes, French toast, grits, hashbrown casserole, and biscuits and gravy. Fresh fruit bowl and mini muffins if you need the illusion of healthy. Menu choices look good too. Friendly staff and srelaxed county atmosphere will make this a place I will return to.

We live about a minute away but today was the first time we tried it. We had the Pork Melt with Fries and Brisket Sandwich with BBQ Beans. The food seemed to take forever to come out with there only being 2 of us and the restaurant more than half empty , was at least 20 minutes after ordering for sandwiches to come out. It was all hot and fresh , We split the sandwiches so we ate half and half. The Brisket Sandwich was good and had a good seasoning the Bun is so so rather use a hamburger bun at home. The Pork Melt was alright - the pork had some clumps of fat and no flavor but was moist and tender , could not find the mushrooms barely on the sandwich but the grilled onion were grilled perfectly , soft but a slight crunch, The garlic toast it comes on was a good bread choice. The BBQ beans were average - fries I thought were burnt and soggy in grease but they tasted okay other then no seasoning so I put salt and drizzled barbecue sauce on them and they were alright. Unsweet Tea - Average . 2 sandwiches 2 Teas - 25 something before tip which is on the pricey side. No one was overly friendly and not all that attentive. We won't be going back even with it being 1 minute from the house.

Had lunch special with 2 sides for 12.99. Great service very clean. The ribs were a little dry. My two sides were collard greens and red beans with rice. Collards had good flavor but a little salty. Beans and rice had great flavor. Garlic Texas bread was tasty. Not sure if I will go back.

1 star, would be less, for family-friendliness The food was very good I would say four to five stars, but The first time I went was with a group of men about 10 or 11 in the party they did a great job and with the good food I thought this would be a great place to bring my family I have a toddler and waiting with a toddler can be difficult, they took our order, brought our drinks out and then we proceeded to wait for 45 minutes with hardly a glance from our waitress... Our drinks were never offered to be refilled and there was not even an apology for the wait. When the food arrived the waitress said "are you happy now?" And while she did not say this in a mean way it would have been better to say something like sorry for the wait...

We will never return to this establishment. The short white haired manager is extremely RUDE. My husband and I went for lunch about 12:15pm at 1pm we still did not have our food. The table that came in about 20 minutes after us just got their food by the manger when she over heard us talking about us not getting our food yet. She asked what we ordered (the special)then said they just stared cooking our meal. My husband had to go back to work so he said" thanks for no lunch", she gave him the evilest look and walked away...wow! No apology, just attitude. When I asked about it she said "it's not my fault, again wow. I said well it's not my fault so who's fault is it, at which time she pointed to the waitress and said it's hers. Like I said...NO APOLOGY, JUST BLAMED THE WAITRESS. I would give this place a -10!!!!!! DO NOT RISK IT!!

Nice Decor. We had the Thursday daily special which was chicken fried steak and pepper gravy. Good waitress, friendly owners. There is also a gift shop with honey products, original paintings, and really nice homemade crafts. I hope to come back soon and try some of the offerings from the breakfast menu.

Barnwood BBQ is a must-see in Eustis. The food was great and there is something for everyone on the menu. We were there for lunch, but there were many breakfast options as well. Our waitress was friendly and we were well taken care of. Located next to Lake Eustis (enjoy the boardwalk) and a nice playground area.

This place was outstanding. The service was fast and the waitress very nice. Even bringing out a box of dominoes for my daughter to play with. They had a rib special 5 dollars cheaper than anything else locally. The ribs were outstanding. The salad came out with all the fixings. The atmosphere was nice. The building has humongous windows to peer through. All in all it was a great experience and I will be returning shortly. It's definitely taken the place of a few others on my short list. Other local businesses should take note and revamp their place to follow the lead of Barnwood.

Place needs to be updated but they have very friendly waitresses the ribs are great the coleslaw was it good the garlic bread was so full of salt I choked on it and so didn't my boyfriend in the salad had all dry vegetables... The ribs are good but all the rib sauces are very acidic I would only return if there were no other places available to go and even then I would have to think twice about it

Maybe I caught it on a bad day this weekend but good god it was awful. The pork and smoked chicken were terribly dry and the fries were so hard my 2 year old (who only eats fries) wouldn’t touch them. Definitely wouldn’t go back, especially for how much it costs considering the quality of the food.

OK but not outstanding BBQ. They use liittle plastic bowls for their BBQ sauce, small styrofoam bowls for most of their side dishes like cole slaw, macaroni salad, etc. Reminds me of fast food vs family restaurant. Moderate prices ($7.99 for a brisket sandwich and a single side for example). We still prefer Oakwood or Sonny's but wanted to give them a try. They also gave crazy limited hours...closing at 3:00pm, not open on Sunday or Monday.

We tried a little of everything here and took it to-go. All I can say is WOW! The meat was done perfectly! Not too smokey .... seasoned very well. They have a wide selection of sides to choose from. I would say their sides are far superior to the sides we have had from other restaurants of this type. And FAST! HOLY SMOKES ..... I may never cook again! Prices were better than some other smokehouses we have been to locally. Lots of choices here.
