The Palak Chat was not only unique but surprised me with its delightful taste and texture. Can't wait to come back to Orlando for some more!

this is a tough post to rate. Not because the food wasn't great in the atmosphere and dining experience wasn't great, but because this was a Yelp elite event and I kind of felt obligated at first to give it a five star review based on that. However staying true to my standards I decided to give it a five star review based on the actual experience. no joke, this was the best Indian food that I have ever had. The taste was consistent throughout all of the dishes that we tried and nothing was overpowering to the point where you felt the chef was a little heavy on spices. The chef came out and explained that this is one of the few Indian restaurants where they actually use measurements and specific calculations on ingredients to ensure a consistent dining experience. The staff was fantastic and I can't say enough about the food. You'll see from the pictures in this post that we got to try a good portion of the menu. Last I would say to the bathrooms are very clean and smell great. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible

Came here for an Indian buffet lunch. Spectacular food. I left with a full belly and strechmarks. Definitely will try to come here again. Place has both a veg and nonveg options. The service was friendly. Buffet was always refilled and hot. Food wasn't super spicy, which is good.

Just left about twenty minutes ago. After reading all of the positive feedback, I thought I would give it a try. Food was ok, and my Server really presented as if she didn't want to serve me. Her name is Genesis, and she had only one other table. She stayed gone for very long periods of time, even after the other table had left. This was not a good visit for me.

This place maintain ambience standards but not the food. I ordered chicken briyani and the chicken smells. Even though it is served hot in pot. There is no slat and spice to it. I feel this briyani is worst of all the briyanis i ate in last decade. I couldn’t eat it and asked for togo. And in an hour the rice smelled rotten and i threwed it. I recommend to order something else order than briyanis.

Sat at the bar, was served by Nilesh the Restaurant Manager. He suggested a wine that paired deliciously with both of our meals. My friend got the Chicken masala because she can't handle any heat and I got the lamb shakuti because I like coconut. I asked him to add spice to it because I like heat. He brought all of our food out and it was delicious. When he came back to check on us he asked how my heat was and I told him I could have done it a little spicier. He brought me a second sauce. It was the same sauce but hotter. It had the perfect amount if heat. I added it to the sauce I already had, and it added the perfect amount of heat to leave my lips burning and have me eating every last spoonful of the sauce. When checking out he said he knows how much I like the heat and will make it for me at that level next time. I will definitely be back. If I were coming for the 1st time the only thing I'd change is how spicy I told him to make my food. I would have said make the spiciness a 10!!! But it was so delicious it is a perfect score!! And the appetizer he suggested was amazing!!!! The appetizer was the basket dashi chat ... so good!!!

I put Aashirwad on par with some of my favorite Indian restaurants in New York, London, and Mumbai!

I have lived in Orlando for 6 years and finally visited Aashirwad Indian Restaurant for the first time last week. It was outstanding! We decided to try the lunch buffet and every dish was flavorful and delicious. The servers were also attentive to refilling our drinks, which is a big deal to me. Aashirwad is hands down the best indian food I've had in Orlando. We will definitely be back.

We travel from Philadelphia. And are very familiar with Indian food and how it should taste. And let me tell you I had the best food at This restaurant. The food was fresh with perfectly balanced spices. The food was served beautifully in authentic Indian style. I am writing this review after 2 weeks and can still remember how the food tasted. The only Thing that may help this business excel is they should extend the hours of operation. If I am ever in Orlando again this restaurant will be on top of the list to visit.

I’ll say, it’s not often I visit an Indian or Thai restaurant that actually gives me the spice level I request, since I like it a lot hotter than the average American. Aashirwad hit it on the nose!

I couldn't find the first Indian place I googled when I was in Orlando last week and I accidentally ran into this instead. Boy, was this place a brilliant gem of Indian cuisine I stumbled upon. There was not one dish on the buffet table that could upstage the others. In other words, everything was excellent from appetizers to entrees to desserts. Also, half of their clientele were Indian nationals. For me, it was a very good gauge for their food's authenticity. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated so try to beat the busy hours. As for service, it was generally good. I just thought the male receptionist that day was not very enthusiastic but that's okay. He wasn't rude, at least. Without a doubt, I would go there again the next time I find myself in Orlando.

This place is nearby to Universal Orlando and we were looking for Indian food. They were serving buffet on Friday noon and there was a big wait line. We opted to wait and queue cleared up soon. Food is good and I would recommend chicken tandoori. Though it was a bit struggle for food in queue but it was the crowd and peak season. We haven't tried dinner but surely it is in our to-do list.

Overall it is a good restaurant. If you plan to visit during evening hours I would suggest book the table in advance. Appetizers were comparatively better than the entrees. Do not order the main course with the appetizers because they would literally bring it together.

This place was recommended independantly both by a local friend and the concierge of the hotel we were staying at. So if you need more reason than that to check this place out here goes.... The food was delicious and very reasonably priced especially considering its location. Our server Genesis was super bubbly and very attentive. (In fact all of the staff were attentive.) She had great recommendations for us and was generally just fun to be around which made our experience at the restaurant a total pleasure. Lastly let me say this, were from Atl GA where the are a ton of great indian restaurants with great service and this place made a lasting impression on us. Ignore this place for dinners except lunch buffets during weekends. If you order Biryani during dinner, they put more vanaspathi and gravy than rice. The worst thing is they only have mutton Biryani on weekends lunch buffet but not in the menu. I really don't like this menu. I request the management to change menu items at least once in 6 months with different dishes. Please ignore this place for dinners especially if you are particularly going for biryani's.

SKIP CITYWALK AND GO HERE!! We came to Orlando to visit Universal and decided to stay nearby. We were debating between Indian and an unnamed chain at the park for our big dinner out. We chose here and boy, did we make the right choice!!! The service was excellent. They accommodated our special requests (extra spice!) and were incredibly prompt. The food was even more impressive! We tried two new dishes and we couldn’t decide which one we liked more. The prices are pretty typical but the portions are very generous! Again do yourself a favor and drive over to some of the best Indian food around!

I was at this amazing establishment last night and I had one of the best overall experiences. It was my first time eating Indian food so I was skeptical about what to order. Our server, Genesis, knew exactly what to recommend. She was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and a great price! Overall, clean, delicious food, affordable, amazing staff. My friends and I will definitely be dining here again and asking to be served by Genesis next time we're in Orlando!

We tried this restaurant at lunch time for the first time following good reviews. All true! Everything was excellent! The dinner menu is awesome. At lunch they have a smaller menu, what was great.... Our order came fast and incredibly fresh. We tried red curry lamb, coconut curry shrimp, chicken in tomato base thick curry, lentil soup.....Everything perfect and delicious..... Naan bread fresh and warm and basmati rice perfectly cooked. At that time they have a small complimentary salad buffet and a dessert. The service was fabulous: efficient, attentive and helpful! Really worried about our total satisfaction! Sergio always checking on us! Impeccable restaurant. Five stars...... Our favorite Indian restaurant in Florida!

As Indians ourselves, who eat out a great deal in the UK, the whole dining experience was fantastic. Ambiance, vegetarian selection, desserts, service and any other factor that one would consider were all 5 stars. We absolutely were not expecting an indian meal like this in Orlando! Hats off to the chef. The onion bhajis and paan ice cream were the best I've had, world wide. The desserts were almost to a Michelin level

This place was phenomenal. The Nan was perfect and the service was excellent. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant! I had the jackfruit masala and it was so, so good. I wish it was closer so that I could visit more often.

Sub-par Indian place, definitely better in the area. Salad bar lettuce looked like it came out of a bag and most of the food was overpriced. To the owners, consider an actual lunch buffet or maybe combination dishes that include entree + soup + sides.

What to say about Aashirwad Indian Restaurant? Amazing flavor, the vegetarian options match and sometimes are even better than their meat counterparts, and I am not a vegetarian nor vegan. The servers and hosts are great and take their time to explain everything. Ask about tweaking the naan bread by adding garlic, etc. The lassie yogurt is amazing too. Don't get stuck on the tikka masala dishes, explore the rest. They are amazing as well!!! Great job!

First, note that the lunch/brunch buffet is only Fri to Sun. The other days, they have separate lunch and dinner menus. Still, service was quick. I was worried I'd not have time to wait before having to be back at work. My chicken curry was ready in only a few minutes and the portions were generous. Lunch included the salad bar, entré, soup, naan and Tandoori chicken. All were prepared exceedingly well and were very delicious. In all, it was a great lunch. Looking forward to returning on the weekend for the buffet.

I had eaten at Aashirwad when it was in its old location a few years ago and had gotten delivery from the new location, but I had never had the chance to dine in until yesterday- OMG so much better! The food was so wonderfully prepared and you could tell a lot of care went into each and every delicious dish. Plus, the new location is beautiful. I had attended an event where I got to try many different things on the menu, so my review is of many items. First off, the Indian Mango Summer drink was DELISH! The alcohol is hidden so well, it’s dangerous. I tried the Frizzy Kosambi too, but for sure the mango cocktail was my favorite. The Kosambi had a bit too much cucumber for my taste. I did also taste their mango lassi, an Indian restaurant staple, and it did not disappoint. The appetizers: the kale chaat was phenomenal. The kale was crispy (baked I assume) and all the flavors from the pomegranate seeds to the mint chutney, yogurt, onion, etc just made this the most wonderful salad. The Chicken on the skewers were also wonderful. The flavor was great and paired really well with the mint and tamarind chutneys. The lamb seekh kebab was good, but I prefer lamb more like the chicken was, cubed, so I would recommend the chicken over the lamb. The tandoori mushrooms were good, but again I would choose the salad or chicken first. However, the presentation was beautiful! The samosas were also good but a little on the spicy end for me (I’m a mild girl - usually need raita to cool things down). Main course: The Chicken tikka masala was a little different than I’m used to, I think a bit more tomato based and slightly spicier than I usually order, but very tasty. We did learn that the restaurant grinds all their own spices, so that is probably why this was slightly different than what I’m used to flavor wise. The palak paneer was very good. This is also a favorite dish of mine, which was made slightly different than I’m used to (the spinach was puréed rather than left whole). The fresh paneer cheese and the sauce were both great! The lamb rogan gosh was probably the spiciest dish we were served all evening. It had great flavor, but a little too much for me to handle. The pistachio kofta was great! I usually order malai kofta which has a similar sauce, but this was a great new dish that I had never tried! Everything was served with the must-have garlic and butter naan - yum! Dessert: wow, as if all of the above wasn’t enough, we had some AMAZING sweets to end the evening! First a mango cheesecake which was served beautifully with what looked like spun sugar on top. On the bottom I think it had some sort of a pistachio or something base. Lastly, we had one of my favorite Indian desserts made into something even more spectacular! It was the carrot pudding which is warm, but into a egg roll type shell and then served with homemade chai latte ice cream. Talk about AMAZING! I didn’t think this dessert could get better, but it did. SERVICE: the staff was super attentive and great! You could tell so much time and effort went into the food and making sure we had a great experience. Catering: we learned that Aashirwad offers catering and after attending this event, I could tell the food would be not only delicious, but beautiful as well!
