Very bad experience... We entered this beautiful restaurant and were warmly greeted by the staff. We ordered drinks and two orders of eggplant parmesan for dinner. Our meals were brought out rather quickly, which was surprising considering that the waiter had previously informed us that everything on the menu is "freshly made with all natural ingredients". Upon eating our meals we both noticed that our meals were cold. It was obvious that they had pulled them out of the fridge and reheated them and not freshly made as we were told. We called the waitress over and told her about the cold meals. She removed our meals, approached our waiter and told him. When the waitress returned with my wife's meal it was a flattened mess of cheese and sauce. It obviously looked like it had been microwaved. I again called the waitress and told her that it was apparent that my wife's meal was microwaved and that if mine was going to be returned in the same matter, I did not want it. Our waiter returned to our table, apologized and said he would bring us two new meals. At that point we were so disappointed and didn't feel like waiting for them to nuke two additional meals. We offered to pay for our drinks. The waiter comped us the drinks, which was only appropriate. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

We were referred by concierge. First glance was "really? A strip mall?"....but dont let that fool you. Very cozy interior, friendly staff, and food was exquisite. We went back for Tiramasu, Gelato and wine the next two nights because we loved the place. An excellent hidden gem for beach going vacationers in Sunny Isles!! Great work guys!!

Don’t bother! Ordered the eggplant which came out cold and mushy! They eggplant had no flavor and the sauce was bland. They bring out 4 tiny pieces of focaccia bread to share. When I asked for more bread they brought out 3 tiny pieces. Good was expensive and they added an18% service fee. There was only 2 of us. Save your money!

Food was amazing! They started us off with some complimentary bread and special Italian sausage that was mouth watering. My glass of wine came in a VERY generous portion in a huge glass and I loved the truffle pasta I ordered, something I've never had before and my husband thought the lasagna was very good. The truffle fries appetizer was also very tasty and the food came out super quickly

The food is out of this world excellent, Italian authentic. The service is great. Fast, cortious, just simply professional. The waier Mike was super helpful. I would say the best Italian in Florida, California, and New York. The price will not kill you for the quality of a fine dining experience. First I has been in Italy many times and nothing to do with this food((taste like frozen)) I just came back form this place....if you think you will eat good Italian food..well this is not the place tastes better if you will buy in the grocery store ,service awful considering that is very expensive,when I enter to this place there was one man at the entrance (seems to be the owner)) that dont even say hi to me..well maybe because I was in my aerobic clothes, and while I was eating I observe the way he treat people,if you are Italian don t worry he will treats you well, if you are not dressed like a movie star, forget it you dont exist, he don t even say good afternoon or good morning, I would not recommend this restaurant if you know what good Italian food should taste like. dont waste your money very bad experience!!!!

I ordered the Il salmone, and was a little worried about the idea of sauté spinach and grape tomatoes being on it, but it was hands down one of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. The spinach and tomatoes just helped make the dish even better! Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and amazing staff to top it off. I was immediately greeted by Sheryl and Mike as I walked In the door, and they continued to provide exceptional service throughout my time there. I will definitely be going back!

My girlfriend and I were in town for an extra day after returning from a cruise, and decided to search around for a good Italian restaurant that wasn't a chain. The existing positive reviews led us to A Modo Mio, and we couldn't be happier with our meal. The sauce on my pasta Bolognese was definitely homemade, as was the gnocchi, evident from the shape of each one. Each dish was hot and perfectly seasoned. The tiramisu for dessert was just as delicious, and although we return home to PA tomorrow, we'll be back whenever in the area. A few notes to address some other reviewers comments: I feel the items on the menu are priced on par with other Italian restaurants, however when we received the bill, it was higher than expected. Upon review, we noticed an 18% service charge was already added to the bill. Since this is not mentioned on the menu, I would suggest that the owners make customers aware of this. Researching on other sites report this as being common in the area. Once we realized this, the total made sense, and after adding a little more on for excellent service, we walked out the door paying less than $37 per person for soda, cappuccino, two meals, and two desserts.

Our dinner at A Modo Mio was authentic and absolutely delicious. What a wonderful treat finding fresh pasta being made when we walked in! It's spotless and the service is lovely. If you're in Miami, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I didn't have a good experience. I felt the manager being pushy. I was never left alone. My lasagna came cold, returned it and got it back cold again. There wine list isn't great. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. the waitress was very cold.

Out of nowhere they added 18% service fee - it was not in the menu. After they brought me a slip to sign , it said " TIP" (not "additional tip" ,none of that) and tip suggestions below starting from 15%. Clearly trying to mislead you in paying more.

Sorry we have been here 2 months & just found this absolutely great lil place. Trufflel fries? delicious. Complimentary salami & truffle cheese with the crispy bread & I was pleasantly full. Canneloni was a hot & bubbly tasty sensation & the meatballs were delicious. No room for anything else, but we’ll be back to try something from the great variety. Great service; clean & bright; great selection. Go & taste for yourself. Wish I had saved room for dessert; young family at the next table ohhd & ahhd with their every bite of delicious looking ice cream. Next time!

Our waitress was fantastic answered all our questions. She brought our table some truffle sauce to try and recommended some choices that were very good. The fresh noodles in my dish where amazing. The only drawback was it was a touch pricey but I would still go next time I find myself in that area because the noodles were that good and our waitress was that nice.

This place is a 10/10! I wish we could have eaten here every day we were on vacation. We had a cheese and meat plate that was out of this world. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was full of meat, not filler. Husband had the gnocchi and it was also delicious. It's clear they made their own noodles and take great care and pride in everything they made. I don't usually order dessert but we had some pistachio gelato and it was better than the gelato I ate in Italy. I also asked for a wine recommendation and was not disappointed. From start to finish this place knocked it out of the park. I would go back to Florida just to eat here again.

Maybe the food is better when you dine in. We ordered delivery from A Modo Mio through Postmates -- it came fast but after just two bites we ended up throwing all the food away. We're having to order dinner from some other place now. The spaghetti bolognese and ravioli osso buco were bland at best, hardly more than Chef Boy Hardee from a can and certainly nowhere near worth the $15+ per dish that we paid for. The prosciutto pizza was gross. I rarely review restaurants but this was so bad considering the price I feel compelled to write. We spent $70 on garbage. A vast disappointment. Never again. We going back to ordering from Anthony's.

We read the other reviews before going so we were really expecting much better food. I had eggplant parmesan and my husband had lasagna. The service was good but the meals were not hot enough and had no presentation. Both meals tasted like they could have come from the freezer and heated up. Our meals fell flat on taste and seemed mushy and bland. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant if you know what good Italian food should taste like.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad. It was in a strip mall so we would have missed it. It's beautifully decorated and such a pleasant place to dine. Our server was delightful. The tables have ample space to eat and sort of just spread out comfortably. I ordered the meat lasagna and it was easily the best lasagna I have ever had in my life. The sauce is absolutely divine. The freshly baked foccia was delicious. My husband got the lobster ravioli in a white sauce which was a daily special. He said it was good but he would have preferred my lasagna which was literally half the price of the ravioli. We do regret we live over 1,000 miles away because this would become a regular spot for us.

Amazing atmosphere, let's start there because when you walk in you are greeted by Robbie owner and Manager Micheal. They welcome you into a immaculate , beautifully designed spacious place. I had not even sat down and was already taken away. THE FOOD, starting with bread, truffle cheese, procusuitto, and salami and for the main meal I had the Porcini dressed NY Strip w/ Mashed Potatoes. At the end everything was topped off with house made from scratch Tiramisu and a glass of Pinot noir suggested by Robbie and Micheal. I cannot express in word how great " A Modo Mio " is, from the amazing service to the unique delicious food. Best Italian food in all of Florida!
