I have been to this place several times and always enjoy it. Many menu choices along with daily specials. This last visit was for lunch and we both ordered a B L T and we were not at all disappointed - generous amount of bacon. We had the unexpected pleasure of enjoying the Halloween decorations... those completed, as well the ones that were in the process of being created.

Took the wife there for a birthday lunch with both kids, grandkids, and daughter in law. Food selection for all ages. Good and friendly service. Really GOOD and DELICIOUS FOOD. Reasonable prices and good sized portions. I had 12 raw oysters and hot crab dip in the bread bowl. Had to bring the bread bowl home. Hope to finish later tonight.

Burgers not cooked to order....rare versus medium. No lettuce, tomato toppings. Web advertised specials were outdated and they would not honor prices. Service was average. Probably won't ever go back; was not impressed.

This is only getting 3 stars because of the service and the drinks. The food was pretty dull, and the wings were flavored terribly. The bartenders were prompt and very friendly. The drinks were a good pour, and we stayed a little longer because of their fun banter.

One of my favorite places in Delaware for food! Smitty's has a little bit of everything and it's all really good! I like their wings and burgers (I'm not big into seafood), and their bar and seating areas are big, so seating is usually not in shortage unless it's peak season.

It was busy on Saturday lunch time. They had a bloody Mary bar set up , you choose vodka and add the rest, including A LOT of extras for spicy to basic Bloody Mary's. Had a variety of items the craby tots were good, great wings and very hot wings sauce if requested. Different nights offer DIFFERENT specials Happy Hour specials and food specials. Raw bar items, fresh oysters, clams, mussles, shrimp.

It was my first visit to Smitty McGee's and it was a relaxing bar, with good service and great food! I ordered the Island Chicken Sandwich, had a nice kick of spice and sauce. I also enjoyed a bowl of Crab Cream Soup, with nice chucks of fresh crab. I would recommend checking it out!

If you want to spend a good time on Halloween, this is the place to visit. I don't care much for their food, I am vegan but their bar is huge and they have a stage for band to play on special occasions like Halloween. We ended up going there one year for Halloween costume contest. We ended up winning first place. The price was great too. The music was great. We dressed as pirates and after our victory they played pirate music for our celebration. The whole experience was amazing, i would totally do it again.

Very negative experience here. The food, entertainment, and customer service were excellent, but one of the male bartenders ruined our night. I am recovering from an extensive knee surgery and went out with family for a relaxing dinner. We were notified that there would be a wait, which was expected. After standing as long as I could, I needed to sit to rest. We went inside and one of the only available seats nearby was at the bar. After sitting at the bar momentarily to rest, I was instructed by a male bartender to move because I was not a "paying customer" (when in fact I was, we were just waiting for our table). Other members of our party had already gotten drinks from the bar. As someone with a temporary handicap, such treatment is appalling. The manager rectified the situation with 2 free drinks, but my treatment by that employee was inexcusable . I will not be returning.

Restaurant serving typical pub food and Delmarva favorites like crab dip and steamed shrimp. Oysters were fresh and large, wings were crispy but the place is dated and feels old, green carpet distracts from the bay view. Not worth the trip from OC.

Food quality has really gone down, very disappointing, their chilli was awful, chicken for salad came out partial cooked and hardly warm, shrimp were over cooked and small. Other then that...the grilled chicken sandwich was good.
