Great little restaurant for sushi and other Japanese food. It only seats a couple dozen people, but the staff is always very friendly and attentive. It has a very 'cozy' vibe to it. The sushi is priced reasonably, and has no equal to it in the area. I've gone to many sushi places in the area, and no other restaurant comes close to the freshness and flavor. Even the bigger, fancier establishments.

This has to be the best sushi/Japanese resturaunt in the state of Delaware. You get big and delicous rolls for an incredible price. For those who like to eat sushi, 2 rolls will be more than enough. The staff are great and the chef is an amazing sushi artist. This place is also good for kids; my 2 yr old kid thoroughly enjoyed the rice and steamed veggies. I highly recommend this place and in my opinion it's way better than Mikimotos and more affordable. Enjoy!

The sushi here is incredible, I got a role that looked like a dragon and was beautiful on my plate. But I am very grateful to this place because I left my purse with my wallet there and they let me come in early to pick them up just before I had to leave to state to return home. Awesome restaurant, very good service, and very honest!

Great place for lunch on weekdays. Lunch boxes are around $11 and are filled with tasty CA roll. Tempura veg and shrimp, rice, small dumplings, fruit, a choice of teriaki, bulgolgi, or sushi, plus miso soup and a small salad. The sushi is great, fresh and (of course) made to order.

I've heard nothing but good things about this place so I decided to stop in and see for myself. The parking lot is a bit tiny but there's plenty of off street parking. Service was great and the waitress was very nice. I can't remember what exactly I got but the sushi was fantastic. I think i paid something like 30 bucks for the whole meal. Will be going back again no doubt

Yummy, yummy. I've had their Sushi and their Udon soup (My two favorite Japanese foods so far) and both were fantastic. You also get the standard miso soup and ginger salad with your meal which is nice. I struck up a conversation with a local and she said this was the best sushi place in Wilmington. I would agree but I've only tried this one and now I don't want to try anywhere else.

If you judge this place by the neighborhood or the outside then you will miss an opportunity for great sushi. They did a great job. The sushi was delicious and pretty quick. Reasonable prices too.

Not bad for sushi and average pricing. Good rice, decent quality fish. Hot house sake is not that great though. Haven't tried their entree offerings but it doesn't seem to look like a truly authentic Japanese restaurant but one more catering towards Western crowds.

Hands down the best sushi I've ever had and the staff is always great. My boyfriend (who has always hated sushi until eating here and refuses to try sushi elsewhere) and I have now made it a tradition to eat here every Friday. When Friday finally comes its all we think about and we always leave literally saying "wow! We're so glad we found this place." However, make sure you carpool because there's very limited parking.

The service was good and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food was just a little too different for us when we were looking for "traditional" sushi and sashimi. We tried several different rolls and they were all not what we expected and nothing like any we'd ever had. Each roll sounded interesting on the menu, but had an odd mix of too many ingredients, making them all complicated and not very good. I appreciate the effort to be creative and unique, but it was just the wrong combination of too many things. We may give it another shot and try other things since it's conveniently located and the prices are reasonable.

By far my favorite sushi spot in Wilmington, great value and well executed rolls. This is a more family oriented Resturant, where you can have a quite conversation if you are looking for a bar atmosphere look elsewhere, bit if you want a fast sushi lunch you would be hard pressed to find a better spot.

This is my first time having Japanese, we loved this place. Wasabi is a must try. We ordered lunch box combo, this comes with salad and soup as well. There's vegetarian options but you must mention it while ordering. Friendly staff.. place is good for small groups.

Excellent service, very personal and hands on. Some of the best sushi in Wilmington! The rolls are unique, the prices are beyond reasonable and the owners are very kind and do a great job keeping the place clean. I love coming here I've had almost everything on the menu its great for special occasions, I come here frequently for dates or just studying. It's so much more than great sushi its also a great way to learn about another culture through the Korean and Japanese food on the menu.

I ordered the sushi nigiri sampler from the appetizer menu as well as an order of ikura and otoro. The prices are excellent. They are very fair for the quality of the fish here. The rice was perfectly cooked. It had the right bite, stickyness, toothy firmness, and mild umami savour. The fish was good but not great. All of the fish tasted fine, but a few of the pieces tasted a bit more grainy/defrosted than I prefer. The creamy/fatty mouthfeel I'm looking for in amazing sushi wasn't quite there with some of the fish. No problem, just not outstanding.

The service is always top notch; whenever I dine in there is never a problem getting seated in a time fashion; the atmosphere is always relaxing; I've never felt rushed whenever I dine in unlike other restaurants which have made me feel like I'm on a time limit to order, eat & get out; Sakura always makes me (and my guest if I bring one) like I'm right at home and that it's ok to take my time with my meal/visit; the food is fantastic especially the sushi bar; you can tell everything is fresh, and that the sushi chefs take pride when preparing sushi orders plus the presentation is always beautiful; my meals are always brought out in a timely manner; I love that I'm given plenty of time to enjoy & finish my soup & salad before my sushi is brought out to me; I've never had any problem with getting my appetizer and then my meal coming out before I've even had 2 bites...the servers and kitchen staff are excellent with the timing of all the course of the meals; Sakura has byfar the best sushi bar in Delaware, and their prices are very reasonable; I've eaten at many Japanese restaurants and to me none of them even come close which is ashame bc a majority of them are extremely over priced for their sushi; I've also gotten take out from Sakura and not only is their food still excellent, but the wait is never very long to make my order; even their takeout presentation of their sushi is beautiful; I refuse to go to any other sushi restaurant within the tri-state area bc to me none of them even come close to Sakura; I always recommend them whenever I'm asked by people for a good sushi restaurant; keep up the fantastic work Sakurs!!!

Great value for the cost! I would say that it is an upgrade from regular "walk-around-buffets"! The quality of the sushi is great and you can get your money's worth basically immediately! The food is tasty and value for money. The restaurant is billed as Japanese, but the staff I spoke to are all Korean. The Korean dishes on the menu are fantastic, and the Japanese decent. The ambiance and decor is nothing to speak about - and it’s located in a so-so area. Not a romantic date night place - but great place to stop for a wholesome meal on the way to a soccer tournament.

I have to say that I rarely give a restaurant five stars when the service isn't that good. But I have to say that even though the service wasn't that good tonight the woman who seemed to be the owner was so apologetic every time she came to the table because they got rushed with a hole restaurant full of people within about 20 minutes. As far as the food goes three of us had the chicken yakisoba which was very good and I finished all of it. My wife had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki which was really good and a little bit on the salty side but I would expect that from teriyaki sauce. We also had shrimp tempura roll and the feedback was two thumbs up. I would definitely try this place again.
