Wow! So impressive! This buffet reminds me of Golden Corral. For dinner with drinks and dessert, it cost $47 for 3 ppl. Delicious food. If I was staying longer in the area, I would go again. There's something for everyone. You won't be disappointed!!!

First thing you notice is that the place and variety is TINY and you will be paying 32 dollars for 2. Make sure to try and get your moneys worth even though I’m sure the food was bought off the clearance section in the grocery store or found in the local dumpster. The only thing that’s half decent is the popcorn shrimp and some of the desserts. But I found a hair in my rice crispy treat so that’s a good sign. Never coming here again. You’d find better food laying on the street next to the homeless man. The workers here are very friendly though im sorry they have to work in such a dirty and unsanitary environment. Don’t waste your money here.

Stay away, took family here and it was awful. Food was bland and looked like it was sitting there for awhile. Lady took fish and put in clean pan to make it look fresh, really. Roast beef dry, wife asked if had more coming out and told it's good. Then we leaving and had brought out more. Overpriced for terrible food.

Floors seem to be neglected, tables and chairs have an 80s feel and none of them match. The coca cola freestyle machines only allowed you to get root beer. The food is more or less what you would expect to eat while in a school. Definitely has not been worth the $18 PER PERSON TO COME HERE. The best part are the rolls. For some reason they have an arcade in the back as well as a candy machine you pay for next to the ice cream.... Final thoughts, save your money. Definitely disappointed in old country buffet.

I used to really enjoy this place. The lunchtime buffet really pales in comparison to the breakfast one. It really feels like they're cutting corners on the food quality too. I do understand, it's a buffet. The food quality and selection used to be good. Now I'd just give it an okay rating.

I went on a Sunday last weekend 3/26/19, it was packed large parties of 16 lol, but we did get in and get seated quickly. There is not much of a selection on deserts and they all tasted of flour besides the ice so poor job their the food was good but one batch of the chicken I got was really pink inside. The manager walked each table and greeted everyone friendly conversations. That’s why they got four stars despite the pink chicken and nasty deserts, customer service was awesome.

It was terrible; the food was cold or luke warm and it was cold inside. I had to put my jacket back on. On top of that they weren't busy it was me and my family and 5 other people so I don't know why the food was so cold. Plus they kept making more food that was only warm not hot.

We knew as soon as we walked through the door we had made a tragic mistake. Food was undercooked and cold, drink selction was borderline nonexistent, and the food selection was much smaller than most other buffets I've been. If you like chicken, that's good cause they might have one other kind of meat. Oh, and the steak costs extra! :D what a deal! Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

Comfort food pure and simple. Nothing all that tasty. Watch out for kids being underfoot. Some families bring all ages in for their once a month feeding. Splatter screens don't stop kiddy germs and parents don't keep up with their offspring. What else is new?

The staff were very nice and the food areas were clean and the staff were very good at keeping up with the supply. The only area from improvement would be the bathrooms, specifically the women's. There was toilet paper and paper towels all over the floors and the faucet was leaky.

It's not bad, but it's not great either. The food selection is lacking and it's all very VERY bland. I don't think I've ever had mac n cheese sauce that tastes like air. There's no seasoning and everything tastes almost as though it was boiled in water or watered down till there is no taste left. The people working here aren't particularly friendly either, but at least none of them are overtly rude. It's definitely not terrible. You can certainly fill up here for a decent price, but if you're looking for a good tasting meal, you're not likely to find it here. Not unless you've had your taste buds burnt off and can no longer discern flavor.

Buffets don't have the best food they have the most food. They open at 11 for lunch on Christmas Day 2018 and there was no long line. But the baked or roasted chicken was cool slightly warm I went back to confirm that it was even cooler, I don't know how this can be fixed but that could lead to somebody getting sick. Another problem was that when I got three pieces of broccoli somebody'd spilled some spices in it in the kitchen and it was over spice that burn my mouth that shouldn't be happening. They seem to be understaffed spills to the floor weren't cleaned up quickly and the general manager had to be carving the meat. I'll probably go back some regular day during the week when it's not so busy and give them another chance.

I went with my girls for my birthday we entered the bathroom to wash our hands it was clean but the smell was horrible my guess is someone had just taken a huge dump so we had to hold our breath. The food was good and the staff made my 7 year old day by coming to sing Happy birthday to me with a slice of cake and a candle they had lit it was so sweet. I haven't been in years but I will be going back again.

I haven't been for a while and it blew me away! We went on a Sunday at 1 and it was not too busy! The food quality has definitely been stepped up a notch or two and I love the selection. The place has everyone from all over and I love the inviting atmosphere for all cultures and how everyone is in a good mood being brought together by food! The staff is always on point and they do an impressive job keeping that place clean and well stocked! The arcade for the kids was super cool to see and not run down like it can be in some similar establishments. I definitely reccomend for an inexpensive buffet.

Only location left, but still a decent place to feed the kids. We frequent for family night on Thursdays, great deal for a family of 6! Balloons, cotton candy, unlimited food and never really packed. My only complaint is that a lot of the booth seats are detaching from the base and should be reattached and probably reupholstered as well.

Air did not smell too fresh when I walked into the door (plug ins work miracles). The food was ok but I had better. If I would have seen the bathroom first, I would not have eaten. I'm here now and as I look around I notice it is in desperate need of a makeover. Strategically it is in a very good location and I'm not very certain if management is aware. If they were, the would spruce up the place a little better and please oh puhleeeeze clean the bathrooms...Geez!!!!!

I used to enjoy coming here with the family. But the last time we went here, which was a few years ago, my family and I were disappointed. Wwe went there for my brother’s birthday and it was so much going on in there. From impatient people, to unwashed plates and silverware, to germs spreading around, it was too much. The food from there, somehow, made me sick and wanted to throw up when getting back home. Haven’t been back in the last will be 3 years. Golden Corral is better than this because at least they are more sanitary, and have better food quality.

I've been coming here occaisonally not long after it first opened and have always found it to be excellent overall. It's a nice change from the regular restaurants and the breakfasts are great, as well as the other menus. The self-serve buffet style fits if you don't want to waste time with having to choose individual menu items at another establishment, that being said, it serves it's purpose. It has also been clean and neat each time. I will continue to partronize the Old Country Buffet, when I'm in the mood to just EAT a wide variety of tasty food, self-served, and no waiting.

I attended this restaurant when I was out of state on business. I hosted some of my staff for lunch on the day that we went. I felt it was very pricey and the parking wasn't the best. Maybe that's because it's a busy Plaza I'm not sure. There weren't many options for food which was a little disappointing especially for the price they charge you.

Thus harrisburg location was rediculusly dark and the only thing worth eating was the chicken and 2 sides, and they were not seasoned well. Good service, best buffet food ever! Soul food, Mexican food, turkey, ham, chicken. You can find literally anything here! On top of all of that, there’s slushie machine. I don’t know a single person who dislikes this place. Anywhere that offers unlimited frozen drinks like that is a place i would live a if i could. 5 stars. This place had a good lead and a great steak employee but the bathroom needed an Exorcist and had pee dripping onto the floor no paper towels almost out of toilet paper. The only food that was good was the steak other than that there was no flavor at all the soup was gross and the salad leaves were this soggy wet gross pile. They only had 4 cups for the "dinner rush" you can tell the shift lead was trying to keep up but the place just sucked so bad nothing was going to help. The mac and cheese is usually the best part but instead you got this pile of mush with a yellow tint. Never doing that again.

The Mac and cheese was more like runny noodles with coloring. The only good things were the meat that was made fresh and the veggies. Sept 15, 18. Breakfast. Awful and plain disgusting. I think they deep fry the bacon and sausages in vegetable oil like you would fries. The syrup is like water, and doesn't have much taste to it. Biscuits bottom portions was stuck to the pan, so you could really only pull off the top portion. The egg station! Took several minutes to find who was working it. Asked for 2 eggs over easy. They were near done when she broke the yolks. I asked if she knew how to make over easy eggs. Ohh yah she said... dumped the 2 that were in the pan to the garbage and made 2 more. Took about 20 minutes for 2 eggs, and there was no one else in line, front of me. It's unfortunate that this place has no competition in the area, as far as american food buffet's. The service is awful as well. The older woman working the register likes to talk with everyone... doesn't matter if other people are waiting. This place is a waste of money!

Awful food. I only consumed the slushy and the roll at this outrageous restaurant. The slushy was delectable, truly amazing, godly drink. The slushy was like if god sent Jesus down but missed and he was actually a cold drink and landed on your tongue. Now my one question is that how in the world can you even mess up a roll. A roll is the easiest thing to make, you can buy ones from the store frozen and they are still good. These rolls tasted like Satan murdered 15 children and baked their dead lifeless tiny bodies into a creation of bread. I would rather die than go to this awful place. Thank you.

My entire family (extended family as well) love coming together here several times a year for a fabulous meal and to catch up on what's been going on with us. We all LOVE the HUGE variety of food. This rating is because they exist. This chain uses the name Hometown Buffet on the west coast where I just came from and that I patronized regularly for many years, so there's nothing unfamiliar here. Nothing here could be considered anywhere near gourmet, but it doesn't need to be either. I can get a plateful of various things that would be considered side items at most restaurants and be relatively difficult to access. Usually I'm at least as interested in side items as often-over-the-top fru-fru main dishes anyway. If I want a "main dish" here I'm likely to get dinner rolls (baked fresh throughout the day I believe), spinach leaves and some shredded cheese off the (very complete) salad bar, tartar sauce and those fried fish squares and make fish sandwiches better than most of those found at fast food places. Side items might be vegetables and baked beans which are more appealing than French fries. And if you want fries they have them, and I believe tater tots sometimes, and mashed potatoes with at least two kinds of gravy (try them with the gravy/chicken/vegetable mix from the dumplings) and baked potatoes with all manner of fixings (don't forget the salad and taco bars). Self-serve drinks which means not having to wait for them or be locked into one flavor; and Coke Freestyle at that (I was hoping the locations back west would pick this up--it's good to see it here). You get the point. THIS is why I come here.

I'm new to the area and was super excited to find An Old Country Buffet in town! It's one of those back home favorites of ours. We went at lunch time and was surprised there wasn't a line like we are used to back home on Sundays. That should have been a sign of what was to come but we were just sure it was going to be as good as it is back home in Tennessee. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed. Even the kids wouldn't eat. All the meat was dry EVERYTHING... The selection was not even half of what were used too. Even the simplest dishes like macaroni and cheese and spaghetti were messed up. How do you mess up Mac n cheese??? How do you over cook spagetti?!?! EVERYTHING was either to bland, to dry, over cooked or undercooked! That fried chicken was an abomination to fried chicken that's what that was I'm telling you! The steak and roast beef was so tuff I've had jerky that was easier to chew and the Turkey was crunchy. Even the desserts were dry. We had to go searching for cups because God help us we needed something to wash it all down and they ran out of those! Didn't run out of food but they run out of cups! It was not busy.. How do you run out of cups when it's not even BUSY?!? I I had to pull out 3 knives and 4 forks before I found one that wasn't visibly dirty. The floor on the other side of the drink machines stayed wet like they had a leak or something which was a bit unsettling. The ladies room was dirty and the toilet paper dispenser literally half fell off the wall when I took my little one to got to the bathroom. Couldn't even close the door because if it. We spent $42 for two adults and two children under 5 to eat a buffet that was barely even edible. If your looking for a nice place to take the family on a Sunday afternoon don't go here.

I love going here. It's a 'special treat', when we go here. The food is excellent, wide variety, orange chicken from thurs I believe thru Sunday, is fantastic!! There's also a wide variety of deserts, and there's ice cream and variety of toppings. There's also a salad bar and fresh fruit. You can also have milk or chocolate milk, soda, coffee, tea and slushy. An excellent place for the value. Guaranteed, you won't leave hungry!!

Alright we already know what Old Country Buffet is. If you don't like kids and you want non grimy walls, this place isn't for you. Having said that, the staff members are really personable and exercise great customer service (we had a problem that was taken care of rather nicely by a manager). The bathrooms are really clean too. Diverse and tasty food options. Scrub them walls and update your decor though!

I typically dont post reviews but for this I'll make the exception. My family and I visited this evening. We thought about GC but this place was closer. The buffet selection was very limited by comparison and overall the place felt dirty. I had to switch my daughters chair out because it had dried soft drink on it still. The food was either cold or overcooked and I'm still trying to figure out how a steak cooked rare/medium-rare is dried out and super tough. We all decided this will be our first and last visit to this restaurant.

This was the first time we had been here in a couple of years because the last time we were here it was pretty run down and disappointing. It didn't seem like they had as many food choices as they used to have but what they had was mostly good. Carpet needed to be vacuumed but otherwise wasn't as run down looking as it had been before. I went to the Old Country Buffet for the first time Christmas Day with my parents and grandfather. I was SHOCKED - it was a WONDERFUL experience. First walked in, and I saw a huge line. Let me tell you, those employees kept everyone moving! I can say, I didn't stand in line more than 5-10 minutes. The worked at the register - I believe Luis - could not have been more patient, and kind..especially consider the crazy holiday rush. It was my first time there, so I had no idea what to do. He took a moment to explain everything to me, and then a tall lady with curly hair, pointed us to where seats were open with the assistance of two other employees busing tables. It was just 100% so EASY! I would highly recommend .. especially for a holiday. If they can handle a holiday rush with perfection, everyday dining experience will go smoothly as well. Once seated- Jose was our "waiter" ... offering to get us drinks, took our plates when we were finished with them. The food was plain, very easy for kids to eat, or for the picky eater (aka my family). The carving station was WONDERFUL! The meat was cooked PERFECTLY! The employee there was so polite and was cutting the meat perfectly. For it being Christmas, they were not out of any food, even at 5 p.m. There was desserts GALORE! A salad bar, taco bar, vegetables, side dishes, WONDERFUL AMAZING 5 star rolls and bread. I just can't say enough of how wonderful the employees at the Newark, DE Old Country Buffet were on Christmas. I would highly recommend coming to this restaurant.

We're waiting in line for 20 minutes at 3:20 on a Sunday and when we got to the register to pay the cashier she said sorry you will have to wait 15 minutes there are no tables. My husband asked if we could pay so he could go to the bathroom and we would wait for an open table and the cashier said no So we left as we're walking out we see 5 tables sitting there empty.

My family has eaten at this location for many years. However, we have noticed that since the Lakewood location was remodeled, the quality of your food has gone way down! I also believe that this was when the ownership also changed. On our most recent visit my 88 year old mother and I arrived about 12:30pm. Upon sitting down we both realized that our food was cold!!! I spoke with the manager on duty. She was extremely apologetic. She went and took the temperature of the hot food and reimbursed us for our meal. I was extremely impressed with your new manager at this location and hope that your company will give her the support she needs. Because of her, we will probably come back and give your restaurant another try.

Been going to OCB for years, and this one is probably the worst one ive eaten at. Place seems tired and musty, and the food is roght along the same vein. The fried chicken was way overdone, to the point that it was virtually inedible. The cornbread and meatloaf wasnt bad. The fried fish was rubbery. Food was ok, nothing special. A lot of the machines were out of service though such as no vanilla ice cream, no cappuccinos, and multiple flavors in the soda machine were empty. The person manning the meat station was seen going around cleaning the lobby but then would go back to the meat station and touch food items without gloves or washing their hands. The person running the cash register became extremely flustered when the printer had a minor malfunction. Instead of calmly handling it they said "I can't work like this" and yelling across the restaurant.

We like CB but after closing the ones close to us we drive to Delaware once in a while. I love their clam chouder and fried chicken drum sticks neither of which they had today. Every time I went up to get drum sticks there was none, very disappointed after the drive over there. Next time we'll go on clam chouder day my absolute favorite. Happy new year.

The food was ok I wouldn't go out of my way again to eat there. The only reason I stop there is because it was close to the hospital where a love one of mine was having surgery and,it was close to the hotel. I did notice on both times I had stopped there that the cashier seemed to be partially in favor of African Americans . There was 5 African Americans in front of us and,they were charged 23dollers for all of them to eat at the buffet and,there was 3 of us who were white Americans an was charged over 45 dollars. This was not the first time as it had happened the night before. My advice go to some place else where the food is better and,the service,as well as being treated with equality.Good luck!

The food isn't bad you do have the selections and staff is attentive to keep the food replenished. The turkey and roast slice serving area actually does have the staff there ready to serve you up a slice. I have experienced it usually the opposite of this, and I'm not sure of how many other people can say they know what I'm talking about. So here at this location the staff is actually on its P's & Q's .!!!! The place is also decent as far as the cleanliness although I just always feel like it's still just not fully there. The food was a little of in flavor when I was there some was bland and others barely had flavor. I did only go there once so it could have been due to other variables. All in all I would go again give it another chancen with the family and the kids.

Wonderful place to eat, first time coming here and plan to come again when were in town.. when we drove up the parking lot looked full but when we got inside there was plenty of seating... food was great and service was top notch. Friendly staff & very helpful waitress too. The green beans I just got from the buffet were cold, so I mentioned that to her and she went and informed the person working the buffet area for me and immediately brought me another plate of fresh hot green beans. I could not stop thanking her for doing that for me. I also really liked all the pretty Valentines decorations all around the restaurant, which definitely included the life size teddy bear at the dinner table that was set up next to the booth my boyfriend & I were sitting in. I actually took a picture of it on my phone and been showing it to my friends ever since! They enjoyed it as much as I did. THAT LIFE SIZE TEDDY BEAR WAS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, PLEASE BRING IT BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR !!!!!!

The food don't taste like it used to, I ate there & the mashed potatoes were a little loose, the roast beef had no taste, I had their carrot cake and it tastes like the way old wet wood smells! The only thing that was good out of the desserts was the chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream. Later when it was time to go I tried to go to the bathroom and the bathroom was horrific! It was so dirty that I couldn't use it. I waited until I got home to use the bathroom, and that was an hour commute! I hope that they will get better ..

I haven't been to an OCB in a while (10 years maybe). It doesn't look like it has changed much. The same items on the menu and the same decor and setup. However, it wasn't bad, just the same. The place was decently clean and the food was still pretty good. Considering the price, however, I was very happy with it. It doesn't look like the price has changed much in the same period. A great value for what you are getting!

What happened to this OCB??!! I used to come here quite often before moving out of town. We were in Lakewood today so hit the OCB. They opened late. After opening, we waited quite awhile for a cashier to get checked through. The salad was ok and the water was fine, but the rest of the food was awful. My daughters fried chicken wasn't cooked through and even a simple dish like corn was terrible. We left and found someplace else to eat.

2/1/2019 The hostess at the counter was an older lady with absolutely no personality at all she was very dry and not courteous. I came with my mom husband and brother spent $54 only thing I liked was the salad poor selection of food and the food had no flavor at all. I have been coming to this place for pretty long time and the last couple of times I was very disappointed. The silverware were so dirty and nasty It was so hard to find a plate or drinking cup that didn't have something nasty on them. I guarantee you that the cleanest plate they have is ten years old or worst. I wonder how bad things are behind the scenes if they are not afraid of showing so much nastiness in public. They were totally unprepared for Kids Eat Free Night. Almost every container of food was empty! They were TOTALLY out of ketchup and you had to ask for salad dressing. The tea containers were empty and even though we bought the cups so we could leave with a drink the pop machines got turned off before the store closed so they could clean them!!! When they finally rallied enough good it was good but it was a mad house!!!!

The food is amazing!! But the women's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. One of the stalls had urine on the floor and seat, one of the stalls did not have a lock (and needed to be held shut), and the handicapped stall did not have a door. The wall was clearly damaged, and when I walked into the handicapped stall, a female employee was using the toilet and I got flashed. The water came out way too pressurized and sprayed me and I honestly couldn't breathe in how disgusting of a bathroom that truly was. Please fix it, because I couldn't finish my meal.

Good for a basic buffet. Food is always hot. There is a wide selection of food, salads, desserts, and usually 2 soups. There are usually no empty pans as the staff is smart about refills. Drinks are self serve and they have an Icee type machine. The wait staff is always very friendly. My only complaint is the fish is usually too dried out because it has been sitting out too long. The fish is good but I guess nobody is there to eat fish. Their desserts are ok but nothing great. I've loved OCB for 20 years now and the funny thing is how little the menu has changed but the food is reliably good.

My family and I came out to Old Country Buffet in Lakewood. The food was dried out. The fish was hard as a rock. Has if it was left out for hours. The pizza was pass it time cheese was brown in color. The steak had no taste at. How come the hosts cooked the steak and not the chef. Im lost for words. Overall this place needs some new cooks to come and help them out. How can one place mass up all the food. We will not be coming back.

Excellent selections of food, and drinks, all self serve, and managers come abd check on service a few times while dining, which adds to caring attitude of all, dirty dishes are removed promptly, and with a smile, I brought a family member with 2 special needs children, and the people taking dishes, even helped bringing food to the table, and making the kids laugh, and creating a distraction so the frazzled mother could go get food workout children screaming!!

My mom wanted fish for her 85th birthday, so I was like Old Country Buffet has good fish and good chicken. I should have looked at the bar before I paid. The food was HORRIBLE... burnt and dried. They only had dark meat for chicken and the fish was burnt and just nasty. They normally have small pieces of Whiting filets or Catfish, but they had square burnt fish. Everyone who came to celebrate her birthday was very disappointed with the food. Yesterday was my last day going to OCB!!!!!

It was as if they hired a bunch of non-english speakers who have never cooked white American food threw them in the kitchen and told him to follow the directions on the Box. By far the worst tasting food at any buffet or any restaurant I've ever been in. Even the pizza was disgusting how do you mess up pizza? The only thing that tasted good there was there tasting background music LOL and they definitely need an inspection because I can guarantee they would fail. Also who uses metal tongs over hot Steam?

My wife and I ate here on a Sunday and were highly dissatisfied for the amount charged versus the quality of the food served. There are very few redeeming things about this buffet. The biggest positive quality was the service given by the gentleman bussing tables who was extremely attentive and nice. Sadly the only other good thing here is that it was relatively clean with a coke freestyle. Everything I tried tasted horrible with the worst offender being green beans and I’m not sure how you can mess green beans up. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here if you do keep in mind you’ve been warned.

It's just okay. And used to be a lot better but times change and so does food. I like to come here with the grandkids because his many grandkids is there isn't a lot easier to do it this way then it is going to a regular sit-down restaurant, and you just have to get to know what food to eat and what doesn't. Pot roast is always fantastic but it seems like lately they run out they never have any more. Roast beef is just average can be rather tough at times same with the steak

We were not impressed. Options have decreased. I was waiting for more popcorn shrimp to be put out. When asked, we were told they were completely out. If that is the case, remove the sign. My daughter also found an old ice cream bowl under one of the games. It looked like it had been there for a couple of days.

This place has gone downhill Waukesha Golden Corral is my go to place now worth the few dollars more per person honestly.

The place itself is very dirty, the floors have spilled water all the time by the fountain drinks, that you have to walk very carefully and the employees dont give two craps about it they just walk by like nothing, and the employees are not very presentable..

My family (5 in total) went there for Sunday lunch, thinking we wouldn’t pay full price. However they are full priced all day, so we paid $42. Not a huge deal. However, the food was bland and everything just seemed like slaw. Nothing great and extremely disappointing for that price. There was also a good wait on getting utensils, forks in particular. The staff was very friendly, which makes it bad that the food couldn’t represent better. About 15 minutes later, after we had finished, both my husband and I had to rush to the nearest bathroom to relieve ourselves. It was a disgusting end.

The Old Country Buffet is a great place to dine, with just yourself or the entire family. They have a little bit of something, or a whole lot of everything for everyone, you will definitely be satisfied. We stopped by to eat dinner as we were traveling back to Florida. We had a party of 50. The food was not fit to eat, the restaurant was not clean at all the floors were a mess trash everywhere. The bathrooms we extremely disgusting trash everywhere, the floors were wet from the toilet water. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Came on Black Friday around 8pm and really wish I hadn't. The hostess was not exceptionally friendly after we stared at each other through the front door for half a minute while she cleaned the glass. At $15.77 for an adult dinner and drink I debated about leaving and going to Wegman's but I was already here and hungry. I was told to seat myself anywhere, oh wait, "except over there." The food was a sorry state with the beef dry and overdone, chicken and dumplings overly salted, and the pizza reminded me of my childhood school lunches. The only thing actually tasty was the fried chicken, so if you're already here.... If you're thinking of coming here, try Wegman's hot bar instead. For around the same price you can have gourmet food instead of sad rectangles. 2 out of 5 stars only because I've (unfortunately) had worse.

Was looking to come all day. I'm sure I'll be so sick by tomorrow. Here's why: Fries: stale and old. Went back for new ones because the manager took out new ones, but had to spit it out because it was undercooked. Chicken noodle soup: I enjoyed it even though it was really slaty. The Mac and Cheese was so cold. I went to grab chicken, or so I thought it was chicken but it was shrimp. I cant eat shrimp but it was not labeled. I had to eat ice cream to be able to eat my $15. The service was great though.

Food was very good - we miss our local OCB. Our server, Jose, was the best I've seen. Super diligent at clearing dishes and he kept the floor and tables looking good. And a nice guy. Pretty good for a buffet!! Not all the food was labelled and the lady's bathroom could have received some more attention. Clone Jose!

I been here many times when I was younger but for the most part the food is just mediocre at best and taste like what I would get for my school or that cheap microwaved food at a super market. At this point I recommend to go for Wegman's it will give you way more stuff that has more quality and quantity than this place.

It's not fine or gourmet fare but it's palatable AND you can just keep eating until you've had enough (or in most cases, too much). Clean, reasonably priced family friendly all-you-can-eat buffet with courteous, efficient staff. Our busman kept up conversation with the diners, many of whom seemed to be regular guests. Our first trip to a buffet in many years. Smaller, healthier, well balanced, more frequent meals suit me better than gorge-fests like most buffets seem to be. This one is no exception. There are however, two (2) well stocked FRESH, salad bars which satisfied my need for healthy, "responsible" eating. Then I began sampling the generous variety of savory proteins, carved meats, vegetables and sides that attract big eaters (pun intended) to this homey location. There's even a trendy taco station. They don't skimp on dessert either. There are temping displays of cakes, pies, puddings, cobblers, crisps and self-serve soft ice cream all for the taking. I can't take it often but if you have the stomach for big meals and reasonable prices, the Old Country Buffet should be high on your list of places to try. jimmythesafe

Half of their dishes are less than palatable these days, And most of their machines are broken. The cappuccino machine, the coffee machine, the ice cream machine, the tea maker… We went one day , the taco meat was literally runny… and recently, we went and they didn't have any hard taco shells, they were out of milk, and the mashed potatoes were so peppery, They were gross. You have to pick through the plates to find clean ones... it's just starting to seem more worth the price and effort to drive to Puyallup and go to Golden Corral... For the same price as their dinner, you can get a full meal and get full at almost any fast food restaurant… not to mention the fact that it's kind of dirty inside. The best thing there is the fact that the staff is friendly and tries their best. The guy who cook steak does a really good job, and trice's best to give you exactly what you order, but the stakes are so thin and cheap, he really has a difficult time properly representing himself with them.

Not as good as it should be. I worked all over Washington at the OBC. This one is the worst of all of them. Floors aren't clean, bathrooms are in a very bad state, food runs out for long periods of time. The best thing is that's it's not fast food and it's in a good location; the bad point is it's serving the same old stuff for years and that makes you step away. The bathrooms are terrible, smellie, stall doors loose, they don't check the laboratories frequently enough. I rarely go now.

Filthiest restaurant Ive ever been in. Shoes stuck to floor even in bathroom hall. If dining tables, silverware, napkin despensers, floors, walls and buffet bars were that filthy, I cant imagine the kitchen. Only stayed because it was family get together.
