Nice little restaurant with tasty sandwiches for even the largest of appetites. Also breakfast food, soups, salads, etc. Friendly staff. Open for breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner is added on Friday and Saturday.

A very friendly environment. Home cooked food and the staff will treat you like family. Portions are very filling and are guarantee to have you coming back for more. I live in Newark which is 70 miles away and I make sure to go out of my way to come here for food. This cafe is nestled in the little town of Harrington

We eat at the Main Street Cafe two or three times a week. We were referred to Beth's place ... the Main Street Cafe ... by the people next door at the "Clutter Box" which sells furniture and by the folks at the M&T Bank across the street. The food is outstanding and the service is the best we have ever come across. My wife says their prime rib is the best she has ever had anywhere. I prefer seafood and the crab cakes are delicious. For variety, I tried the shrimp and scallops ... super. A couple of weeks ago, they offered these giant Portobello mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. My goodness ... fabulous. But the other day, the stuffed pork chops sounded good and clearly it was the best pork chop I had ever had. The desserts are freshly baked and fabulous ... fruit pies, cakes, cookies, and one time, I just bought out the whole dessert case. For breakfast, I like the omelets and the sausage links, which are really great, but I also ask for half an order of chipped beef on French Toast ... these people are great to accommodate my quirky requests. Sometimes we purposely order extra so that we can have take-out for the next day. Main Street Cafe is a great place and a major asset to the community.

Recently opened, new longer hours, sweet homey country decor. The food is decent. The wait staff is friendly. Atmosphere is 75% of the lure of this place. They always have holiday decor up. Valentine's and St. pat's... feels like you're at mommoms. Very nice.

GrandDaughter, Daughter (I'll) and I stopped by for Lunch. Staff was Cheerful, Accommodating, Friendly and Helpful. I ordered the Pan-Fried Trout, which it turned out, hadn't been delivered yet, so, I was happy to have the Flounder they offered instead. Their Cream of Crab Soup was Amazing. When my GrandDaughter was ready for her Freshly Made Cupcake, our Waitress let her go to the Dessert Showcase and pick out Exactly which one she wanted. All in all, we now know why it's a Popular Spot !!

The menu is a bit limited compared to other places in town but the small atmosphere and friendly staff make up for it. I will warn you if you order the corn it comes cooked in the husk silks and all! It was good but you had to work for it. I believe I had a crab cake as well which was quite large and didn't appear to have much, if any, filler. I believe the owner also owns the ice cream shop across the street which is also well worth a stop. You get more than you pay for at both of these locations, which I would consider a good thing.

It was nice and small. Lots of interesting items to read while waiting for food. Unfortunately for us they were out of a number of things so we had to choose something else. I ended up having to change my order again. Still NY grilled chicken was rather tasty and Mom enjoyed her ham and Swiss. The only thing I didn't like was that you could only get one free refill. Would I go back again? Sure would.

Loved this place. Quaint, local, friendly and reasonable. Crab cake sandwich was awesome. My son had the pepper jack bacon cheeseburger and said it was perfect! They have homemade baked goods and great daily specials. I think this is gonna be a regular place for us!

It's the "go to" place now for my husband and me. We're so glad we decided to try it out. There's a parking lot across from the restaurant for more parking.

Had a great first time at the Main Street Cafe! I had been wanting to check out the place for the past few weeks, and finally got a chance today. The food was fantastic (I arrived just in time for breakfast), the servers are fast and very friendly, and the inner decor is quaint and charming. It's the perfect spot to sit and grab a meal with some friends/family, or just relax with a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
