Libbys is great. Food is so good. Service time is exvellent. People aren't waiting long for food. Employees are helpful and nice. You can definitely tell its a common place for the community to grab something to eat. You see all types of people in the resturants. Cops, regular people, coaches from UD, buiness men and women. Libbys is a great place to choose for a nice hot breakfast.

Customer service was bad. The man at the front counter was rude. I asked him for a straw to stir my coffee and he just place a spoon that was sitting on the bare counter inside my cup and stirred it himself. I did not want a spoon that was in other people cups. That is so unsanitary. Nor did i need his help with stirring my own cup. When I told him he just brushed it off and rushed me out the restaurant.

Im so disappointed in the food i got. I have eaten here for over 20 years and this is the first time I've ever gotten sick. I can't even think straight. I got pancakes scrambled eggs with cheese pork sausage and pork bacon. I hurt so bad i couldn't eat anything last night and now I've been throwing up since this morning at 6:20am. I called to let them know and the lady on the phone told me call back at 2 because that's when Libby will be there. Im beyond upset. :(

family-run restaurant open for breakfast & lunch; food is always good & cooked perfectly; coffee was very good & staff make sure to check frequently to see if refills are needed; nothing fancy but everything is well done; waitresses are very friendly & efficient; saw lots of regulars so it is popular with the locals; only downside is its location in the city of Wilmington - not the owners' fault but customers do have to be aware of their surroundings & carefully dodge the homeless & panhandlers that frequent the area

I removed myself from the Table & Proceeded to go up front to tell the Manager. The waiter took my plate of food with the hair in it & Disappeared . This is a restaurant that knows itself, knows its neighborhood and the people. Breakfast is served as a woman serves a large family. Many names and faces are known and unfamiliar ones quickly become part of the family. The food is reasonable and good, and I suspect if you ordered the same thing five days in a row it would differ slightly based on the ebb and flow of human interaction. Go enjoy a true neighborhood gem.
