The food was fresh and delicious. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The buffet prices were reasonable and I will most likely return the next time we are in town. The location was easy to find and the building was very unique.

Service was very good, food was good as well. I didn't give 5 stars because they. Could probably change the water for the ice cream scoops a little more often, or order a scooper for each flavor. But everything else was great. I will come back, and may just skip the icecream.

I have eaten at this establishment for at least the last 15 years. Their food is delicious and typically fresh during meal times, you will not find dried out dinner waiting for you here. They offer a Mongolian style grill to fresh stir fry a selection of meats and veggies for your own custom plate. The staff is friendly and helpful without being over bearing and the manager of the establishment personally meets guests at their table to see to their needs. I would have at any point and will still recommend King Buffet to any person, couple, or even family for an enjoyable evening meal with exceptional food at a reasonable price.

This restaurant was closed down by the health department. I had stomachache after eating their blue crab. So don't go there, their food are not sanitized.

Went here to try them out but noticed that they were closed down by the Health Department. They must not have been very good or clean if the health department came and closed them. Just saw that there is an news article of why they were closed. They had roaches, mold and crazy other problems that could make you easily sick. Found it by googling King Buffet. I'd be-careful of this place.

Came here at the end of December and saw that they had a sign posted saying they were closed for “repairs”. When I was looking at the sign a lady came out and confirmed they were closed for “repairs”. I ate here two days ago with my kids and the food was ok, not bad but ok. Some stuff was better than others. My two boys who are not picky eaters was pushing the food around their plates saying it doesn’t taste good. I rarely write reviews because I’m not usually bothered by bad experiences but this one does not sit right. The reason the words “repairs” is in quotes is because I found out today in the paper that they were not closed for “repairs”. They were closed for cockroaches and serious health violations. They blatantly lied and I feel awful for bring my kids there to eat. I will not be coming back here and I seriously warn others not to also. They seem to have a shady practice and who knows what else they could be lying about. I will post the picture of the article I found.

Hands down the best buffet in Dover. They have some of the best food in town, and the staff are extremely nice and polite. I've been eating here for over ten years and the place has always been clean, and the food has always been amazing. For the price you absolutely can not beat it.

We've been here several times and it was good. We decided to go in the middle of the week and what a difference. The food had been sitting so long it was dry. There was nothing to eat. When rice is dry and crunchy it's time to make more. Very dissapointed.

Awful the food was hurt crispy old and made us sick i only had a salad and a veggie blend nothing else was prepared for lunch time then new trays brought out were the only hot fresh food available and they wanted to charge you for that after coming in on much with scraps for paupers I will NEVER GO BACK My son ate nothing and the plates were dirty with food still on them the bathroom was clean the jewelry stand was beautiful and the bus stop is the only reason I will return!!

I've been there twice already. Love how it depends on how many people are with you and the drinks. But I got sick both times. To witness the second time that there are some females who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. If you're going to work with food at lease use hot water and soap for 20 seconds. Cause wetting your hands doesn't get rid of germs.

It's a great place to get a meal. Maggie is a great hostes. The restaurant is beautiful. And the Mongolian Bar where you have stir fry on a 3 foot stainless steel grill is the best. There is no other Mongolian Bar in and around Dover. We go there at least once a week and we invite a lot of friends. They even have a side room for parties. It is much smaller than most places. With that being said the smaller size does allow them so focus more on the food. And that food is phenomenal. Smaller trays allow for more changeover and not "stale" food. The atmosphere is family friendly. The staff is so nice and delightful. This may be my first visit but I will surely be a repeat customer!

We, my husband and I moved from MD to Long Neck DE Nov. of 2016. We love Chinese food especially the buffets. Well we have tried every Chinese food restaurants in Millsboro to Dover. From Millsboro (Long Neck) We finally came across "King Buffet". That was that! It takes about 49 min. to 1 hr. BUT SO WELL WORTH IT! Once a week we make that mouth watering trip! Never disatisfied! A very authentic atmosphere with great service phenomenal food. Very clean, comfortable seating. Staff are there as soon as your 1st plate was devoured. They ask if you need anything. I definitely give King Buffet 5 stars.

We have tried many Chinese buffets over the years. There is one on the road from Bangor to Acadia national park. Another one at the southern tip of Shenandoah national Park in Waynesboro. And of course quite a few in the new York - long island area. This one rates about 8 out of 10. Most importantly this place is clean. The menu selection is varied. Food is fresh and empty trays are replaced quickly. Everything we tried tasted good. We would recommend it to anyone who likes Chinese food.

This place is just gross. I wish we never went there. My husband thinks it's the worst place he has ever eaten yet at. We went there late, after 9pm and it was dirty and food was old and nasty looking and tasting. Will never come back there again. I just wish I wasn't so hungry to eat there my stomach hurts now and I completely regret it. The staff was ok though, friendly and all.

Typical Chinese buffet, food seemed well rotated, items were good. Nice mix for kids. The reason I gave 5 stars is it also has an ice cream bar with about 12 flavors or so. Kids and my girl loved it, that's what matters mostly.

Honestly? Go to China Town, or Old Town. This place has never been great. I went tonight (on a Friday night) and it was just.... So bad. Upon arriving at 7:45, and leaving at 9:30, only a couple things were rotated. When we arrive, the crab legs were completely empty, fine, understandable. After an hour, still empty. I asked if they were planning on putting more out, 20 minutes later, they did. Not good, dear God. Some how, I wish I could have this explained to me... A few of the crab legs tasted exactly like Novocaine. Yes, like what they use at a dentist office. Gave some to my husband, and he confirmed it. Just, move on. There are many better options for food. I'm sad I wasted my money on the food I ate, in which had made me feel off since leaving.

Check into hotel after a 15 hour day, then yelp/google local buffet restaurants an find this place. Call to see how late they were open an the woman on other end tells me ten. So my coworker and I race there an arrive at 935. The entire staff was so extremely polite and said if there was ANYTHING on the food line that we wanted that was low that the would make a fresh portion for us. Everything that both of us had was GREAT. We asked for three different things an all three were made fresh for us. Such an amazing experience to cap off a long day. Thanks you!
