Food is delicious. I preferred the old management and staff. This new crew seems stiff and not as welcoming. As far as atmosphere, it's a great place for a romantic dinner or night out with friends. I like the ambiance of the place, but seats are worn and the walls need painting ..... I've been going there since it first opened years ago

Always a wonderful experience. They recently turned over new staff and that was a bit of an adjustment but all in all one of my favorite spots in Wilmington for lunch or dinner. Try that Tea!

Went with a group of coworkers, it didn't seem like anyone really enjoyed the meal. The waiter was fairly incompetent, wait times were long and he messed up a lot of the orders. I accepted the incorrect dish as it was similar enough to what I had asked for and I didn't have a dietary restriction against it but other vegetarians we were with were forced to wait for their correct meal. All of it might be boiled down to bad service, but the food was so bland. The only thing I could taste was spicyness in the lemongrass soup and the curry which had the consistency of soup tasted like nothing at all. It had absolutely no flavor, biting into onions, chicken, all completely bland and boiled. I asked another person who got curry and need theirs redone because they were vegetarian and they were of the same opinion, absolutely tasteless. Maybe other dishes are better, but I hope I never get asked to come by a co-worker again.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The service is horrible and food is mediocre. I’m wondering why whenever we come it’s dead in there. Multiple issues with waitresses and the food being messed up. Today was the last straw when the manager had a nerve to follow us out the restaurant DEMANDING a tip when tip isn’t a requirement with 2 people dinning. The waitress messed up multiple times so why do I have tip my hard earned money for 0 star service. Espically when I left sick due to the food. I highly recommend le shio or mikimotos over this place ANY DAY!!! I

I avoided this restaurant for years because I heard they weren't that great. However, lacking in new places to review this Friday, I decided to give them a shot and try a lunch special. Jasmine Asian Cuisine is in a strip mall on the southbound side of Concord Pike. Access from northbound Concord Pike is easy by turning left at a traffic light intersection. Parking seems more than adequate at lunch time on a weekday, although I have no idea what would happen at peak shopping season. I have to say that in contrast to the second-hand impression I had of this restaurant, they've greatly improved. The host and server were more than gracious and checked on me a fair number of times. The food wasn't bad either. I tried a pad thai with shrimp and the flavors were subtle, not overly peanut-laden the way they make it at some other Asian fusion restaurants. The salad I ordered as an add-on seemed fresh too. It was a tad heavy on the ginger dressing but I didn't mind. Better a bit too much than too little. And finally, the interior decor was restful and comfortable with wood tones and some cushioned seats, for those who need them.

We sat at the bar for drinks & apps. I didn't peg this place as a "local" bar but most of the patrons at the bar know (bartender) Pete. He's quick with the drinks, pleasant and shows an interest in his regulars. THAT is why ppl come back to see him. He's the shining star - give him Employee of the Month.

I ordered from Jasmine and received pork buns that were completely raw on the inside. The chicken was fatty, and undercooked as well. This place had good reviews on Uber Eats. I should have Googled it. If I had, I would have known that this place got shut down by the health department in April. It's a continuing issue. Avoid this restaurant.

I arrived at 11:30 with my wife which is the opening time posted. A man rudely said 'Dont you see we just opened? instead of seating us or apologizing as if it was our fault to be on time. I dont think I or my family will ever visit this place.

As a first timer, our assessment was this: the atmosphere is great for a date, and the restroom was well taken care of. We ordered Singapore curry noodle but it was okay. Shrimp in it was good. We had double meat (chicken) but chicken tasted like unspecified meat. It tasted just "chewey." our waitress was very attentive. And sushi rice's vinegar ratio was off; it was too dry, although the filling was enough. Besides chicken meat, it was an okay restaurant.

Despite the other bad reviews, I liked these sushi! They were super fresh, and were very delicious! A bit pricey for regular hand roll buy otherwise a very decent place! I had a takeout, but the inside atmosphere was very pleasant.

Just a lovely Asian restaurant with excellent sushi and curry. We ordered tea, egg rolls and won ton soup because the weather was so cold. All were served hot and tasty. The service is decent and the atmosphere is calming. A nice break from a hectic day.

My wife and I really enjoyed dinner at this place. I found the Japanese side of the menu to be excellent, but the thai side (green curry) to be only good, hence the food rating above. By excellent I mean the biggest chunk of tuna I have ever seen in a tuna avocado roll, yum! Also, the seaweed salad was perfectly seasoned. The coconut shrimp was far and the away the best we have had in recent memory. I think if you try this place you will like it. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Facility smelled weird. Utensils were dirty, especially the chopsticks. They should use disposable wood chopsticks. The food was okay. Waitress forgot our drinks completely, I had to re-order drinks. And like most restaurants they don't provide extra napkins unless requested.

Best Asian restaurant in north Wilmington. Hot and sour soup is perfect and great tempura. The best Pad Thai chicken and a huge portion. Sushi is good although the rice is just a bit off. It's more expensive than a take out place but worth it for the quality.

Found this gem by accident. I took the extended family (9 total) and they were able to seat all of us right away. The service was great and the waiter was funny and pleasant. He gave us some great suggestions that was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go again and recommend this place for a nice night out.

Website wouldn’t let me order to my house because the delivery distance has to be 3 miles away, and I live 3.3 miles. Called & Ordered one special roll, 4 pieces of sashimi & a piece of cheesecake (to reach the $30 minimum) and was charged $34. I was told it would take 45 min, but the man arrived an hour and 15 minutes later. My cheesecake was upside down, and the $15 special roll contained a total of 4 pieces. I’ve never dined in the restaurant itself but it’s way too expensive for the quantity you get. I would not use their delivery service.

We had lunch at jasmine two days ago where an awful odor permeated the establishment. Today, the local newspaper reported that the restaurant has been shut down by the board of health. There were dead rodents in traps, rodent feces and a filthy refrigerator. Damn! We should have left immediately but we could not confirm the odor with employees. Some in our party could smell it and others could not.

The food is great, but I am disappointed with their service. The food takes well over half an hour to get to you, but when it does it is the best sushi (what I get) around. I recommend the California roll and the Salmon roll. Hope you enjoy!

While we have not had everything be perfection here we are impressed with the quality of food and their determininayion to correct any errors. We have eaten here three times now. The first time they forgot an item and had a partial mix up on another. The second time my daughter was sick and they opened a little early just to give her some much desired miso soup. Tonight, the third time and first delivery, they replaced the errors form the first order but then brought the wrong soup however they were at our door in less than 10 minutes with the correct one and kind apologies. The food Big hits in our home 2 adults a teen and two toddlers; spring rolls, pad Thai, pho, steamed pork dumplings, miso soup and tempura Okay but not fave; crab Rangoon and terayaki
