Been wanting to go here awhile. Finally made it and wasn't disappointed at all. Shared the crab dip and fried mushrooms. Both good. Had corned beef and cabbage and hamburger cooked exactly how we liked it and the turkey melt that was good too. Only problem we saw was they don't serve corned beef sandwiches. The waitress suggested the Rueben without the fixings but an Irish Pub should have corned beef sandwich. Service was good and the atmosphere was even better. They have a much better selection of food than any other Irish Pub we have been in which will bring us back again even with the 35 minute drive! Milton is a cute town also. Enjoyed a walk in the park after lunch.

The only downside I can say is the service is extremely slow (specifically the kitchen). Our server was very nice and attentive, and we enjoyed our lunch there today. One last opinion; I don't call myself any authority on this but they have the best Shepherd's pie I've ever had!

The food is large portions and absolutely excellent. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The menu ranges from munchies to large plates. Parking is very convenient. Park on the st out front, parking lot out back, or down the st is another lot. Great place!

Great food and atmosphere. Not too busy on Saturday nite around 8 on labor day weekend. Wait staff good and attentive. Good beer selection and nice and cold. Nice entertainment by two young ladies on guitar playing classic rock. Definitely a place I'll return to.

Sat outside on a Saturday afternoon. Service was slow. Was told it was because they were busy inside. Seems to me you would take care of all of your patrons, not just the ones hanging around the bar. Wasn't too pleased with the dogs outside either. Dogs were on long leashes allowing them to move around instead of being kept close. Servers rubbing on the dogs with their hands is not a good idea either!!!

Went to Happy Hour. Can only order happy hour drink and food at bar which is small. You can purchase happy hour drinks at high tops in bar area but you have to order food from regular menu. Guess happy is only for early bird regulars.

My wife and I had lunch today in Milton, DE today. We are seniors and usually split meals as we cannot eat a full entre. We were given a second plate with our waitress saying "I brought you a second plate." We thanked her for the courtesy ate lunch including desert. We were presented with our bill with a $3.oo plate charge. Asked what the $3.00 plate charge was for and received the standard answer "company policy." Asked to see the manager to explain the charge and when arrived she said "company policy" and couldn't give me a decent answer. Now if Irish Eyes wants to charge $3.00 for a plate the waitress and the manager should be able to explain why, not company policy Now they told me it was on the menu, although,we never saw the charge. I would think the waitress should inform the customer prior to bringing the extra plate and telling us she brought an extra plate. (underhanded at best)

Had dinner there about a week or so ago and absolutely loved it. It was my wife and I’s first time in town and decided to try out a new place. Got a burger and it was cooked perfectly! We were sat fast and never waited for anything even thought it seemed a little busy. Alyssa (our waitress) was very welcoming and kind and we will ask for her next time! Was there last Friday night. Ordered the fish & chips and a beer. Service was good and reasonably fast food was great and hot. The only thing that would have made it better is if I could have connected to the WiFi to pass the time since I was alone that evening but was unable to connect.

Great family place on the doorstep to the major beaches. If you're staying in the area for a while I'd strongly recommend a short side trip to historic downtown Milton. Nestled amidst the old architecture you will find the Irish Eyes, with parking right by the riverfront. Great place to be for a good summer lunch. Noise levels were fine even with people at the bars. Service was kind and on point and good with follow up on questions and requests. The food covers a broad range of tastes and appetites. Strong recommend for the crab mac & cheese and fried zucchini. Not sure what the traffic's like at prime time but it was an excellent choice for a summer lunch a short drive from the boardwalks.

We moved to Milford with very few decent restaurant choices here, and definitely no good pubs. Very happy to find this place. Clean, great food and fantastic service. Great draft beer choices, and right on the waterfront. (Flies outside were terrible though) We will be regulars. Nice little town, and only 15 minutes from us. Well worth the trip. Please bring one to Milford. You will be swamped with customers. Highly recommend.

I used to hangout their on weekends their prices are kinda high and about 8 months ago was in their on a Friday night drinking long island teas told the man bar tender it was made to strong so he shot some coke in it and stuck his finger in my glass to stir it up not to classy.

Food was good, service not so much. If we want a beer in a glass, don't argue with me, and tell me no, find a glass or a mug. It was windy and we didn't want a beverage in a plastic cup while outside. Bluegrass performer was terrific.we had a good time, service was slow and not friendly. Better instruction to the staff, I have been in the restaurant business a long time. Never tell a customer " you are busy and I have other tables or drinks to get before yours" instead say," okay I will bring it out as soon as I can.". Every customer should feel special and welcomed, not a inconvience. We ordered appetizers and dinner too. If it wasn't a family get together, we might have left before ordering any food. Try harder Irish Eyes.

Iris Eyes is a favorite for me. I love the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The place is community oriented. The only draw back is parking. Thats not just Irish Eyes issue. The entire town is a parking nightmare!!!!! I try to go during off peak times; but even then its a nightmare parking issue.

Nice place. Food was decent but a few small changes could really change this place. The wings were ok. They could have used a couple minutes more in fryer yo get a good crunch on the skin. I am a fan of double frying, low temp to cook, high temp to crisp. The sauces (agave sriracha and basic hot) were very watery. Either they diluted the sauces or if they were made that way needed to be cooked off to get rid of extra water so sauce would stick. Fish and chips had no crunch. French fries also without a crunch. Overall decent but could be really good

We were out celebrating and decided to stop by Irish Eyes in Milton. We love the Lewes location so we thought we would give it a try. Rude bartender...took our order and then proceeded to wait on other customers and serve them while we still waited. After finally serving us, was playing on her cell phone while other customers waited. Love the location! Hated the service. Lost good business today!

My first visit. Called ahead (30min prior)to see if they took reservations.... they said they don’t take reservations just enjoy the food when you get here....got here...crazy busy...30 min inside 15 min outside wait...oh asked the hostesses yes we are taking reservations....me pissed...seated outside in 10, staff friendly but told wait for food is 1hr...outside live music is good...good atmosphere...food was here in 30min....freak’n good!!!..got the fish tacos...awesome...mixed drinks are reasonably priced and well made. Bottom line... they didn’t communicate well but I am coming back.

So disappointing and overpriced. Ordered the shrimp and scallops for $25 and got 3 little shrimp and 3 little scallops......I was in shock - I could not believe what was served to me and I had to pay $25 for it. Although the shrimp was overcooked, the taste was good but definitely NOT worth $25. The other 2 diners I was with enjoyed their food - they got more then double the quantity I got and both paid $15 for theirs.
