Honestly, this place is awesome and I wish we had one at home. We came for breakfast before a wedding and the food filled us up and helped us last until dinner. Our waitress was amazing and the atmosphere of the place is comfortable. I will definitely be looking out for these places whenever I travel.

Pretty good breakfast restaurant in the Delaware. We ordered traditional and Asian pork belly bowl with iced coffee/kale tonic. It is tasty and looks tasty as well. Good location, friendly staff, plenty of seats if you arrive earlier, otherwise you need to wait, find a parking spot. Will definitely be back.

Food is great, and the coffee is great as well. The wait can be a bit long, but you can actually reserve your spot in line from your phone before you even arrive. This has helped reduce wait times for me and my family immensely. If you do have to wait for a table, they have complimentary coffee for you while you wait, which is a great touch.

this is the kind of place that women seem to really like like Panera bread as a man I enjoyed it better than Panera bread I don't think I would order the specialty drinks for Good morning because I thought they were kind of expensive and not very good. I came for the first time today, there was a bit of a wait which was to be expected for a weekend brunch. The server was not very hospitable. i ordered a market skillet and sent it back because it did not taste that good. had a BLT eggs Benedict to go, it tasted much better but the egg was cooked too long and was basically a hard boiled egg.

Was really excited to go see what the hype was about, however was pretty disappointed. The waitress was very inattentive and forgot several items we ordered. Additionally, the food was either over cooked (burnt pancakes) or undercooked (hard home fries) and food items were missing from the dish description. Finally, on checkout we waited a good five minutes as the host at the front engaged in whatever non work related conversation. Definitely won’t be coming back!

This was my second time coming there and the food was even more amazing!! Really, you don't know what to order, today I went traditional, Belgian Waffle with a berry compote on the side. The waffle was quite delicious, light and airy with a choice of real maple syrup (small uncharge). I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, quite divine; oh and that Million Dollar Bacon yummy....Great healthy beverages too!

Food was extremely good. We arrived at 1pm and this location was packed. Our waitress was very friendly and I feel did her best but I give it only 4 stars because I feel like they really need to employ more people to cover basics such as ensuring cleanliness standards and making sure utensils and condiments are readily available. We sat at the open table with other patrons to avoid the 15-30 min wait per the host's recommendation and it was nice the other patrons were friendly and it was a different experience that I wouldn't mind repeating. Lack of silverware made it difficult to enjoy our hot food but the company made up for it. I'd eat here again like I said the food was awesome. They just need to better staff this location to keep up with the busyness that wears the service down.

I like it here. It is a little loud. Happy they have call ahead seating. Little slow sometimes, little expensive. Been here a few times. My kids like that they offer organic and healthy options. I like the toast and jelly. It is nice to have something different than the typical IHOP and Friendly's.

Great lunch. Very popular place-had to wait a little bit but it gave us time to review menu so by the time we sat down we could order. Excellent waitress-friendly, accurate, quick, nice to all her guests. Lunch was great and keto capable-will go back-very hard to find restaurants where that will work. Loved the design/atmosphere too. Thought lunch was underpriced for what we received. You can tell that they care about what they serve.

A plethora of healthy, clean food options with frequent additions and changes to the menu make this place one of the most attractive breakfast/brunch offers in the area. Beware of possibly long wait on the weekends (but that’s completely understandable bearing how delicious the food is). Two things worth noting: 1. there’s a community table available where you can often sit right away (even when there’s a line) if you don’t mind eating with random other people, 2. they have healthy drink options (like kale tonic, turmeric orange, etc) that make your dining experience even better.

Restaurant is very good if you want to eat healthy. Gluten free, raw items, and cleansing drinks are abound. Greens are available in place of potatoes. You leave satisfied! The only downfall was the very slow service.

The million dollar bacon is a little pricey for only 4 pieces of bacon. I really like there pancakes. They are as big as the plate, and only needed to order 1.

Food is excellent, but I give 3 stars because service is lacking. As of late, I’ve watched my food sit out ready to be picked up only to not be picked up for minutes at a time, sometime as long as 10 minutes. Most times it gets served and I have to send back because it’s cold. I’m thinking of giving First Watch a rest for awhile hoping they’ll get their act together. It’s too bad to because the food is so good, but it doesn’t give the restaurant license to slack on service.

A couple of minor things, wait time to be served can be long during busy windows, just something to be aware of. Another thing is always review your bill (a good habit anyway), but in this case I say that because both times we visited we received someone else's bill. Still a great restaurant and im looking forward to the next time we visit.

My family and I have been fans of First Watch for years. We've enjoyed them on various vacations in Florida. So great they are now in the area. Breakfast or Lunch is available all day. The menu is inventive and affordable. Today we had the 2 for $7.99 deal. The Guerye and Ham along with a half a Cobb was tasty and a bargain. My wife had the Monterey Club and Kale salad (dressings on both salads were very good). This location is fairly new, they seem to have the operation down. Both the server and the manager we're friendly and hustling. The breakfast special sounded great, we will definitely be back to do breakfast.

I took my family here for a Sunday breakfast because they open early compared to many of the other brunch spots in the Wilmington area. It wasn't awful, just not great either. The food is pretty delicious but the customer service is horrible. The first time I was there the waitress had an attitude. I just went in again to give it another try and waited for over 15 min just to give my name! The hostess never once said hello or even “give me one minute please” or anything. It was getting backed up at the door and she wouldn’t acknowledge anyone. Four different groups of people ended up walking out because of the lack of attention. We were first in line and ended up leaving as well because we had been standing right at the podium and couldn’t even get a greeting!!! To me good food isn’t worth terrible customer service.

Stellar service in Florida, however in DE, our waitress reeks of stale cigarettes and is sweating profusely, and a tad abrupt. I suspect she may be using some form of substance. Hostess in front of restaurant was eating out of a styrofoam container in between assisting customers. Management should do better...customers do actually place importance on environment.---One last thing...I can't resist... I was told that I was "owed a sausage"... Can you imagine?? Just don't tell me, I would not have known!!---And I never received it! Be sure to read the one and two star reviews...Please improve upon these things, First Watch, DE.

Entered around 10:45 on a Saturday, aka prime breakfast time, did have to wait a bit but the experience was made better by the free coffee. Once sat we were waited on fairly quick and ordered a meditation juice that was very good and refreshing. My fiancé and I ordered off their specials menu which came out in good time and tasted great. Portions weren’t monstrous but filling and actually tasted like real food vs some other breakfast chains. We will absolutely be coming back to test out some other dishes

First the atmosphere is so inviting. Basically this place ruined diners for me. The food is incredible. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes? YES PLEASE! I also really liked having a water pitcher for the table so I didnt have to keep asking. It's all about the details. The bottle with warm syrup, the menus are beautiful, tables are spotless, seats are comfortable, staff was lovely. I literally could visit here everyday for breakfast and be totally content with that!

Great new place. Had the pleasure of visiting with my wife for first time for my birthday breakfast. Coffee was A+ .... very nice inside. Service was decent and food came out super fast. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. I tried the breakfast tacos and my wife tried the farm stand hash. Both we cooked exactly as requested and made in under ten minutes. The menu is expensive and the portions are generous but not too excessive. Water is served at the table in a bottle as is coffee so you won't have to wait for your refills. You also pay at the front so most of your stay is on your schedule. I cannot stress how great the food was. You'll enjoy your time here.

Wait a long while to get sat for breakfast and came late (1030ish) but were only told 15-20 mins must have waiting at least 40.. server was not too friendly was just just trying to move us in and out. Only saw her twice. Once to take our order and once to hand us the check no in between. Expensive for breakfast food. I’ve been twice now we’re ive ordered French toast or a breakfast item that needed syrup. Every time the food is dropped off by someone else.. they forget syrup and I’m sitting there in hopes that someone comes by like the waitress but they don’t. My boyfriend ends up having to waive a person down and then I can finally eat.. not that impressed for the money you spend.

Top Notch Breakfast, Anytime You'd think that an Omelet, Potatoes and Bread wouldn't be terribly impressive. But, you'd happily be wrong. Good sized portions, fresh veggies, delicious homemade preserves, and a carafe of some of the best coffee I've had in years. Staff is friendly, and pricing is good, especially for the quality of the food. Service is a little slower when they have a full house, but not slow enough to dock a star. It's an impressive little breakfast nook that deserves a try.

I have eaten at many First Watch restaurants and have always loved it, this was by far my worst experience. I can’t speak to the food because we were there for fifteen minutes and were never served, much less even acknowledged. Then there’s the fact there were plenty of tables yet we got seated at the one back by the kitchen entrance where the waiters are going by all the time. This restaurant just opened and if this is the service they have I don’t see them being open for very long. I don’t know if they’ll get a second chance from me.

Great breakfast spot - be aware gets filled up quick. You can get on line via the web which I would recommend and there are spots left open for communal dining in front but we were not advised of this option so ended up waiting about 30 minutes. The food was very good - had pancakes which were substantial so be ready to take some home unless you are really hungry. They will also mix and match pancakes but you will end up paying much more for this option so be aware. Better to pick something and go with it.

We were pretty excited to see a new place open up not too far from home. Nice atmosphere, but unfriendly staff. Girlfriend's order was incorrect, and the waitress who brought our food (not our original waitress) didn't apologize but simply rolled her eyes and said alright before taking it back to the kitchen. My food was correct, but the scrambled eggs were overcooked yet cold along with my potatoes .They were nice enough to comp the incorrect meal after fixing it, which got them a star back. I don't think we will be coming back. Pretty disappointing!

Great menu, with lots of choices. Every request you make is followed by "of course". I've been to these around the country, Florida and Arizona also. Always a safe bet. ADA friendly facility, treated myself and my service dog with utter kindness. My favorites are the bowls , ham and gryere omlette, or lemon ricotta pancakes.

Nice breakfast date, will visit again! Waitress and host were friendly. Food was good, nice and fresh. The grits were really bland though (I’m not a fan of grits period). And supposedly they have a known issue with some sort of residue on their cups. My boyfriend and I visited on a Friday morning. I had their chickenchanga and he ordered an omelette (the works I believe), a side of cheese grits, and their iced coffee. Great options if you don’t eat pork like me and portion sizes were good. Average prices for “entree’s” are around $10.

My wife and visited here today for the first time. Really like the atmosphere and vibe. Our waitress Liz was really great and knowledgeable recommended the kale tonic which was very good. We had had the tri-fecta and the traditional breakfast hearty portions and not a long wait will definitely go back again.

First watch was recommended to me and it did not disapoint. Food was good. Specialty juices we're good. Menu items were unique and flavorful. Definitely will stop back when I am back in town.

Food was excellent. Wait was long for lunch, but it was Sunday so it's probably a good thing people want to be there. Service was ok, nothing to rave about. I would definitely eat there again. I had the breakfast tacos and the million dollar bacon, YUM. Everything seemed fresh and the menu had so many great choices it was hard to decide.

Server barely checked on us. Left drink tray on our table. Did not clear our plates. We waited one hour for our food and we only ordered simple breakfast items...kids crepe, eggs and bacon and French toast and omelette.

This is a great new place! The food was good and the servers were well-trained. It is a great atmosphere and the food is wonderful. It's nice to be able to get healthy options or to splurge if you feel like it. We had a couple very minor issues but this is just the beginning of their third week so I think that's exceptional. Can't wait to go there again!

Very clean and well prepared. I went the day after New Years and it was very busy but they were quick. Food was delicious and the plates were well prepared as well. Overall good experience. -Get the Milion Dollar Bacon, it is amazing and the price isn’t bad.

Not a great experience. Long wait after seating, everything was overcooked when we received it. You can't cook eggs well done, they turn to rubber - omelet and kids eggs, pancake was a bit on the crispy side as well.Table next to us had multiple issues.. idk, maybe it was just a bad day for them. But not willing to give it another shot.
