Watched the Eagles game here, and it was great. Bartender was friendly, and the food was delicious. Had lunch but next time we plan on having brunch because that menu looked awesome.

I went for the first time for dinner with family. At first, we thought it's not a place for families and it's just a bar. But, the people here were welcoming. We had a tasty dinner which is really a good value for the money we pay. The service was pretty slow. But it's understandable with the amount of crowd and the few number of attenders.

Nothing can beat their happy hour deals. The Irish cheese fries and chicken fingers are an absolute delight. Their lobster risotto is creamy and had the perfect texture, exactly where you want a risotto to be. Their fish & chips was fried perfectly, the breading crisp and the grouper cooked to perfection. I've been there two weeks in a row and I plan on returning every chance I get.

We used to love coming to DP. We always had excellent service, the staff knew us, knew our favorite food and drinks. However, recently the staff has changed and isn’t as friendly and the service is slow. We came for an early dinner. There was only one other table. We ordered appetizers and it came out with the food. The waitress’ phone rang while taking our order. We’re disappointed that as a whole it has declined.

It's atmosphere could use a lot of work but if you like dive bars you'll like dead presidents. No updated drink menu. Draft list is less than average if you are looking for craft beer. The food is good as is the service.

The food is good, not amazing though and usually takes a long time. Servers are either attentive and professional or they'll practically ignore you. Usually the former but I've had some really frustrating nights eating there. But the atmosphere is exactly what i want a bar to feel and look like. So I can forgive them for a lot.

Great beer list but most of the really interesting stuff is in bottles, the taps are dominated by local craft beer which is great but if your looking for new experiences not so much, still its one of the excellent Wilmington beer bars. The food is typical pub fare good but nothing to write home about.

My husband and I went Dec 23. It was slow. We are new to the area and found this place online. Their website was excellent. And they were voted one of Esquires best US bars. The dead president’s theme seemed hip. Not a lot of parking available, but we found a few spots because they were slow. We walked in and the music was some rap/pop and way too loud, smacked you in the face. There was no one at any tables or booths, just the bar. We sat at the bar; was greeted well by the bartender, got menus for dinner. He updated us on beer specials and changes. We ordered beer and then food. I ordered fish and chips, my husband the mahi fish tacos. From there it went down hill. A patron sitting alone next to me was doing the crossword puzzle from the newspaper. The order took forever, especially since it was so slow and no other patrons were eating, just drinking. I had seen part of the staff sitting and talking in the back room of the restaurant. Not sure if that was it. My food was terrible. The chips were potato wedges which were dry, mushy over cooked and super hot! My fish was so mushy you couldn’t pick them up to dip in the tarter sauce but super hot. They were not crispy. It was as if my plate was dying in the window they decided to microwave it, which was why it was so hot and mushy. My husband’s tacos were just average and his rice was cold. The bartenders were just hanging out and talking to each we, singing to the music. Not engaging with customers really. They were nice. But they didn’t ask us about our food and we had to get their attention to check out. There were a lot of tvs there with the football game on. I imagine this is a great place to hang with friends to drink and watch the game. But there is nothing special about this place. Just an average neighborhood bar. Not sure why it got the Esquire rating at all. The ambiance and food were lacking. We probably won’t be back. We were suckered by great marketing and website on this one.

Food was decent. I ordered a burger that didn't have a sauce on it. The female waiter (glasses) told me it would be 25 cents for Mayo. WHAT!!! Seriously if you have to charge for a condiment get a better food manager. I just used ketchup which to my surprise I wasn't charged for. Happy hour deal is sweet.

We went in during happy hour, and an assortment of appetizers were available for half price. We ordered an app, and part of our party had sandwiches, the other part had meals. Everyone loved their food, which came in a timely manner. The atmosphere was a comfortable bar setting with booths for diners. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be returning.

Food was amazing ! Vibe wasn't quite what I was expecting but I did enjoy the food. I got the Alamo burrito (eggs, peppers, sausage, cheese) with their home fries & I ordered some potatoes to go home with my leftovers cuz they were amazing. Nice, chill place for brunch.

This is a presidental, tavern themed restaurant / bar. This place serves good sandwiches and fries among other foods. The prices here are reasonable given that one can eat here for anywhere between $12 - 30.

I wanted to update my review a bit. Not only have I been impressed with the food when dining in, I am super impressed with the way my order was handled via delivery. I placed the order through Door Dash, only to have them bring me the wrong items (meat on the WTF burger when I asked to sub with a veg patty, for example). My phone-phobic anxiety-ridden self called the restaurant to straighten it out and the lady I spoke to was kind, professional, and super understanding about the mix up, as well as my nervousness. I really appreciated that. She walked me through what to do with Door Dash, helped replace my order, and double checked the incorrect items. She even called me once more before the food arrived to ensure everything was put in correctly. The food arrived and was absolutely delicious. (That pepper sauce is amazinggggg!!!!!) Thanks for the great food and outstanding customer service!

Wasnt busy for a Saturday night, yet we were ignored after we were told, to take a seat, and it took almost an hour for them to take our order (sitting by the bar, thr waiter was sitting down talking to other customers). Female bartender was rude and disrespectful. Food never came 45 minutes later...then when my fiancé asked for his money back the bartender snatched his beer threw it away. He only wanted money back for the food. He asked for a manager and she said “he went home and nobody is in charge” like really?! We will be following up with the manager this is ridiculous. Never returning and I will be telling others to not to go there since they treat people like this.

Sunday brunch was terrific with my little friend Sherry. The bloody's were strong but delicious. The lobster and spinach omelet was a special and was fantastic. The Maryland omelet (crab) was really good as well. I highly recommend. Service was great!
