Well let me start with this. When we got to the restaurant the hostess was not very nice. The booth was very tight. The food was good but the server could not speak or understand English very well. They do pour a very good drink, but the beer a friend had was dated over 1 year ago. Do not think we will be back.

Between my mother and I, we spent close to a thousand dollars in jnewelry today. You can thank Victoria in jewelry at the Prices Corner, Wilmington, DE store. She was helpful and very cordial. She sold us and I hope she gets a raise for doing such a great job.

Agree with many other reviewers on here when I say the menu is a bit overpriced ($11 for a quesadilla, $14 for a small shrimp salad, etc.). The food is ok and if you go during lunch the turn around is pretty quick. The atmosphere is a bit dark and there are a lot of twists and turns. Not someplace I would come to often but the restaurants on the strip are a bit limited. May be better for just getting a couple of drinks, the bar looks really well stocked!

I thought it might be odd to mix American tavern and tacos, but the food was good. Meet for a colleague's celebration and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Small location so group of 14 was seated inn an odd area, but we had a good time and everyone was happy with food and drinks.

Great Mexican and American fare. If you want Mexican food, get the enchiladas with the green sauce. You cannot go wrong. If you want American food, just flip the menu. This restaurant has something for everyone. If you have a large party, ask to sit in the small area in the front of the restaurant - it's great for Board meetings or lunch groups.

My favorite Mexican place in the area, hands down. I almost don't even want to give such a good review because I seriously don't want other people to know about this place. The Mexican menu is limited so don't expected 100 different options. That's not the point of this place. It's quality over quantity. The margaritas are great too. Good beer selection.

This place needs some sort of "we're open" signage from the glass front; hard to tell there's even a bar/restaurant even there. We had appetizers and drinks, no complaints, and I enjoyed the crab and pita.

Worst restaurant I ever ate at. Waiter was rude, condescending, and blatantly disrespectful. I went with a group of six and 18% gratuity was added to the check automatically. I was not even going to leave a tip the service was so bad!

Food was okay (not great) but very overpriced, service was great, ambiance is great. They do not publish a kids menu but tell you "kids" options. They charged $10 for a small order of chicken fingers and fries. Beers are way too expensive as well. We were shocked by the bill. I don't mind spending money for good food and experience, but this was not worth it. Maybe during happy hour, but not otherwise, and definitely not if you have kids.

Hadn't been here in quite a while and even though I was dissappointed to see that "The Wedge" had been removed from their menu, the Homemade Chips were not. My Bleu Burger was cooked perfectly and quite DELISH!!!!!

Plenty of good food, a great sports bar and a solid option for adventurous pub fare, a good beer list and lots of margarita options. I prefer the traditional pub fare but a great option for classic tex-mex.

Cozy, clean, quiet, and tucked out of the way. This tavern is a great place to get food and drink with friends. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. The food is good and reasonably priced for its location and amosphere. My only gripe is that the chef was stingy with the chorizo, IMHO. Will return in the future to try other dishes.

The sandwiches here are very good, they have a good beer selection and the atmosphere is that of an upscale corner bar. The only downside is the service tends to be a little slow, but I always go when I'm looking for a relaxing night out so that doesn't bother me.

Great food. Unique selection - half of the menu is American, the other half is Mexican/Spanish. Something for everyone. Everything I have had there has been delicious! No complaints there. Bar is decent, but small. Nightly specials available during the week. Staff is pretty good and friendly, though I did have an issue one time with one of the bartenders being rude.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. After being ignored by the hostesses and standing around for ten minutes my friend and I were finally thrown in a table in the corner. Not only was the waiter horrible, but my friend was given stale fish. On top of that the other two things we ordered(vegetable potstickers and grilled cheese) were absolutely disgusting. When we asked to speak to a manager another waitress told us no and that we were wrong about our own food and that it couldn't possibly be stale. As someone who works in the food industry I know it's hard but I have never seen someone be so disrespectful to a customer. The food was horrible, but not as horrific as that waitresses attitude. You couldn't pay me to go back.

The food and service were great. I think some of these negative reviews are old. A great spot for relaxing and good, casual food. We had not been to Cromwells in a long time, but tried it again at the recommendation of friends. We are glad we did. Enjoy!

I love the food here, and the margaritas are pretty good too (I sneak a sip of my wife's). I think that if I'd come to watch sport, they have two or three screens, so it would be as good bet, but don't put any store by the fact that it'as got an English name - this place is NOT British and doesn't show premier league fixtures!

Quick lunch! We arrived at the restaurant at noon, just before the rush and received great service. The meals came out quickly are were very good! The server was prompt and we checked out fast. I did not feel rushed, but when one needs to get back to the office you can understand being prompt is key.

Foods great service is not. Its really a shame. The food is great but the day shift service is horrible. The women is constantly talking and ignoring her tables. Everytime i look she was talking to the other guy who i assume is just a waiter because it would be shocking if he was a manager. Our table had to flag her down or interupt her conversations for water and after we got her attention no sense of urgency to tend to the other tables shes ignored. I literally saw one lady go up to the bar to ask the guy to refill her tables drinks and she then walked all 4 drinks back herself! No professionalism at all from either of the 2 workers. Ive been there during the day and night and it really is night and day in service! If you go for the great food go at night!

Will Never stop here again! Stopped by for a night cap at 9:45pm. Was abruptly met with, what appeared to be the bartender, informing us that due to the lack of patrons, they were closing. Mind you, it is a Saturday night in December!!! No apologies, and frankly a snarky attitude. When you turn away a paying customer, you aren't turning them away that night, you are guaranteed never to get future business. Delivery is everything. BTW, I will gladly share my experience every chance I get! Heading to Trip Advisor right now!

Waited a good 5 minutes to be waited on, then got waited on and waited another 15 minutes for our order to arrive and waitress forgot our chicken winglets!! Went to Cromwell's years ago at least once a week, now with new ownership will not go back, high prices, not great service

There Mexican food was horrible, especially for a place surrounded by a huge Hispanic population. There sides were very pricey for small portions and not a great taste. Ex: sour cream scoop $2, very very small portion of black refried beans $4, a cup of Mexican rice $4.There tavern food was decent and honestly the display was pretty nice for most of the dishes. If you decide to come I encourage you to stay away from the Mexican inspired dishes and would ask for a seat away from the bar area because it is very noisy. The staff was very kind and nice to everyone at our table and the bartender seemed very friendly. The food came out very fast but after we were done eating we had to wait a long time for our server to come back and ask if we wanted the check. They were very pleasant though.

Something for everyone, here. Mexican AND American fare. Beware that you must order sides separately. And if you don't order sides, it won't be enough food. It gets to be a bit pricey for that reason. That's the reason for 4, not 5, stars. BUT, it's an inventive restaurant. Good atmosphere. Dim lighting. Beer on tap. Clean restrooms. Cute shopping center. We've been back more than once, and for these reasons.
