City works is such a cool place to go. They're happy hour is awesome and they have some really good appetizers. a good portion of the restaurant is outside and it's in the new downtown King of Prussia that they're building up and it is a really cool place to visit. I would consider pretty family-friendly but it's also a sports bar at its core.I will say that. Peak times it can get a little bit busy over there so call ahead to find out what the wait is.

Good food and interesting (in a good way) beer selection. There was a little wait but it wasn't overly long. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu items. An extra shout out to their team for taking back a beer that I ordered that tasted nasty. My only two complaints are that it was very loud and that the beer menu didn't specify the glassware used. My wife an I will certainly return.

Wayyyyyyyy too expensive for the quality. A ton of beers yes, but expect to pay double for most beers and only get the option of a 6oz or a 13oz glass (averaging $6 for 6oz and $9-$10 for 13oz). The workers seemed miserable (maybe from working the Saturday day shift) and that just added to the bad tastes in everyone at the table’s mouths’. Literally and figuratively. I don’t blame the servers, hostesses or the managers that came over to check on us, I blame the entire establishment. This idea for a restaurant has been done, and the only thing you get here is larger price tags because of where the building sits. I rarely leave reviews (only when I have a great or an awful experience.) This one was bad all around. I’ll go to Applebee’s the next time I want this quality of food and service..... and I’ll even get to pay one third the price.

We visited on one of the first warm days this year and were able to be seated outside with no wait (despite the place being packed). The hostess and our server were very nice and professional, and we recieved our orders quickly. That said, all of the food was subpar. I order the mac n cheese and a burger, and my wife got a chicken sandwich. All three of the food items were void of any flavor, and completely bland. We had ordered delivery from city works in the past with similar results, so I dont believe this was a one time occurrence.

Burger was Very good but the roll could not hold up. I would suggest toasting the roll or putting on a flat top to make crispy so it can absorb some of the essence of the burger. Service I give 2 stars, waitress not very attentive, my guess is because we were not consuming alcohol.

Was extremely happy that City Works had vegan options available! Because of that, we decided to eat here for lunch. Both of us got the Impossible burger which was made perfectly! The only thing I didn't like was how the bun crumbled up as you ate it. It didn't hold well. So maybe provide another type of vegan bun. However besides that the food and atmosphere was awesome!

Terrible service. Really terrible. Sat at the bar on a Saturday night and were completely ignored for 20 minutes. Finally by forcing the bartender to gives us attention we were able to get drinks. But then we’re ignored again. It was egregious.

Overpriced. Amateur food taste, slightly above TGI Friday. Small portions. Inadequate beer drinking glasses. Nice crowd. Good location. Weak Happy Hour. No effort to actually give an acceptable discount. Instead they have $4 garbage beers. Disappointing. Don't go here looking for value or taste, go here to drink over priced beer and undercooked wings. Service was helpful and attentive. Decibel level was acceptable.

False Advertising. Do not go here expecting The Impossible Burger. It’s advertised as available online and on the menu, but when you try to order it they offer a veggie burger instead. Their claim is that The Impossible burger is impossible to get. Unfortunately, that is a lie. It’s available at other restaurants that advertise it. Several of their “90 on tap beers” were “kicked and never to return” and the prices are a bit out of reach for the quality. I would give more stars for our waiter, good guy. Restaurant management gets zero stars.

I went for brunch a few weeks ago because another close by restaurants wait was too long. They were pretty empty. I got some kinda of breakfast sandwich on a onion biscuit. It was ok. I probably won't be returning. The service was good though, place was nice looking but my boyfriend didnt really love this meal either. If I went back it would be at another time of day, I guess.

A couple friends and I came here for a quick lunch, and we were so super impressed. Tons of beers, very attentive service, and delicious food. I had a Blueberry Shandy, which was cold and refreshing, and the Pork Benedict off their brunch menu. Pretty decent value too. I'll definitely be going back with my family and friends again.

The location is nice with all the TVs and sport channels. And the 99 beers on draft. My burger was good but the burger from my wife was cold and without any taste or spices. Before our last visit this week, we visit the place 8 or 9 times and it was much better. Maybe a bad day from the cook ;-).

Meh. Just had lunch there, very lazy waitress, food was fine but no reason to go. The waitress didn't know what the soup of the day was so she had to go ask not that there was a list of specials or anything. After she delivered our food she disappeared for 20 minutes. I finally had to ask the hostess to go get her so I could get the check. Then the hostess gave me a rude look on my way out. Oh, sorry for asking you all to do your jobs, my bad! Haha, so many mediocre restaurants and sloppy service in the new KOP Town Center. I see reviews that say "amazing food" or whatever, there is nothing amazing or beyond mediocre about this place. It's just meh.

It was fine. Best aspect was number of beers on tap with a huge selection, not just IPAs like so many places. Not a huge fan of battered fish in fish tacos, a bit salty and could have used more cilantro and lime instead. Nice to see the impossible Burger featured in the menu!

It's an okay restaurant. I really hope they will improve the menu with more healthy options and up to date food. Their menu is boring and very fat. I know it's a bar and they are trying to provide a sport bar experience with million televisions. However, the complex has very good restaurant options and they are lacking in terms of the menu. More salads, appetizers and unique burgers.

Nice atmosphere in a trendy upbeat restaurant. Very large selection of fear but unfortunately they do not make their own. Service was good. The appetizers were delicious but there was only a limited menu for entrees and they were just basic and nothing special. Will probably try it again sometime in the future.

The wait staff did not come back to check on the food for 20 mins, by that time I was asked if I wanted it re-cooked, I did not as the rest of the party was finished eating. Went here the other night for dinner with my bf. We had to wait -- not a huge deal, but there were a TON of open tables. I get that sometimes the kitchen gets backed up or it's understaffed, but still...just weird. We had the firecracker rolls, which were ok. Both of us got the City Works burger and honestly it was probably the worst burger I've ever had. A Big Mac would've been 100x more satisfying. Asked for it to be medium rare and received a well done burger. I'm not one to complain to a server or send stuff back, so I ate it. Meat was devoid of flavor and kind of gray looking. Fries were cold and soggy. It's a shame because I went here when it first opened for drinks and had a great time. After dining here it's safe to say I definitely don't need to come back.

City works is like a sports bar, but also a good place to have dinner. If you are a beer enthusiast this is the place for you. The only thing I would have to say I didn’t like about my experience was if you sit at a back table the staff takes an eternity to get to you.

I have been to City Works many time and I had good experience so far. We were there yesterday for Eagles vs Bears game. We were second in the line and there were two booths available. First couple got the booth and we are supposed to get second one. I asked them I should have done reservation to get a table near by TV and the staff told me they don't take reservations. The couple behind us told the staff they have reservation and they did it a week ago. All of sudden they gave our booth to those couples and told us they don't have booth. They gave us corner table. They gave our booth to the couple behind us right in our face. Terrible management. They gave us complimentary food and thanks for that. But still I am giving 1 star for poor decision. I have been here after my 1 star review and I have changed my review to 5 stars.

Living right in King of Prussia this is our favorite spot to get appetizers & drinks for a night out. Wonderful for the games with the wall of TVs (150' or so). It gets pretty packed so get there early or be ready to fight for a seat Friday - Sunday. Always great beers! The bartenders are 50/50 one will be very nice & friendly the other will be short & condescending. Other then that a great time.

I went there for the first time this past Tuesday. It was a really cool atmosphere and even the little town center was great. Nice drink selections and a variety of food options. We ordered our meals and I asked for no bacon and no tomatoes on the grilled chicken sandwich. When it came out, both the bacon and the tomato were on there. No big deal, my friend and I had finished our meals and the waitress came over to us and just gave us our check, not even checking to see if we wanted another round of drinks since we only had one round. We felt very rushed at that point which was disappointing.

Way over priced for what you get...both items should have been under $10. Looking for an $18 burger? This is probably your place. For us? We won't be back based on the value. (We went to Habit Burger across the plaza the day before...would go back there instead!)

Came around 4pm on a Saturday for a quick bite. Seated pretty quickly. Food service was slow. The food we got wasn't good. Fried pickles - weak and bland batter, some places just can't get fried pickles right. At least they were chips (not spears). Served w ranch dressing. They have REALLY good ranch dressing. Firecracker rolls - not bad but not good. Tasted like everything in it and not the sum of their parts if that makes sense. Served with avacado creme, not nearly enough. Ended up using aforementioned ranch dressing a lot here. Nashville hot chicken wrap - this just wasn't good. Tasted like the chicken was plain flour battered/fried and doused with cayenne pepper....in a wrap. Not good and not what you want with Nashville Hot Chicken. Served with fries which were very tasty and crisp. Our server was ok. She was nice. Refills were lacking. Plenty of beers to choose from. Atmosphere and venue are awesome though. Seems like a cool spot to catch a game and have some beers. I would go again and order anything else.

Excellent food and service! Cool presentations too. My only negative feedback is kinda silly and nothing that affects my overall opinion of this place... I ordered the brisket, which was incredible, and arrived on a large warm tile. Again, very cool presentation, but the accompaniments that are supposed to be served chilled were warm and no longer appetizing once I got around to them (& I was really looking forward to eating them...lol) :( Otherwise, this place is a hit! :)

This was my first time here and very disappointed. I had to flag a manager down because our server seemed to disappear. I ask him for water and the one thing my son was missing. He brought my water and still no aioli. We waited atleast 10 mins until I ask him again. He then finally brought it. When our server finally showed up she was miserable. She ignored our table and we waited a while until she came back. We had to ask for a box and the check. I am very disappointed. She spend more time tasting in there mini meetung then she did taking care of our table. Not impressed with msnagement either since he did not come back to check sfter I had to request things twice.

They used to have the best veggie burger which had a black bean and crunchy tortilla chips in the patty itself! They took that off the menu about a year ago and now we don't feel like going here anymore. Veggie options like impossible burger are too generic.

Pretty decent selection of beers and good food. Spicy firecracker roll has good kick and the higlight app in this place. They have happy hour menu which is sweet deal. I like to go to this bar for giant TV screens(awesome for games). It is recommended call ahead if big group.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon. They were very crowded but we're able to find a seat for the two of us. The service was very good and the food was good too. For the type of restaurant oh, the food is Right priced. The beer menu which is well promoted, is posted on the wall and on the menus and the selection is very large. If you really want to find a different kind of beer I'm sure you'll see it on their list.

I literally have no complaints of this restaurant. My boyfriend, his dad and I went to dinner last night to celebrate his birthday and everything was amazing. My boyfriend got a burger with a nice thick cut of bacon. His dad got the salmon (which he said was the best salmon he’s had in a while) and I got the fish and chips. Then for dessert we got the baked cookie dough. I will definitely be back here again.

The food was awful. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad and the chicken tasted like it had already gone bad. My friend was sitting next to me and could smell the odor coming off of the chicken. I couldn’t even finish it, I was so disappointed. It was the worst salad I’ve ever had. I also had the pretzels with the beer battered cheese. It wasn’t bad for only paying $4, but I’d never pay full price for it. The cheese was bland. There wasn’t any salt on the pretzel bites. This is a great place to go to if you’re looking for a wide variety of beers on tap, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering food...especially for how much they charge.

This spot gets 3 stars. Our server Christine was a joy-very hospitable, however we had to return appetizers and one of our entrees because they came out cold. The manager was gracious and comped 4 of our items which my family appreciated. I would like to return, but I just need my food to come out smoking hot.

Not bad. Basically a Yard House. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with Yard House. I got a burger that was overall a great burger, it really was a shame the side or fries was served almost cold. My wife got a salad that she liked but was missing half the ingredients that were listed on the menu and we had to ask the server to bring them on the side so she could add them in. Beer selection was good but the value is terrible. I felt they were very small pours for the price. The one that stuck out to me was $8.50 for a Blue Moon. You are out of your mind if you order $8.50 Blue Moons lol.

Went after work for happy hour. The appetizers were really good. They had a cauliflower in a Kung Pao sauce that was really good. I will be back just for that dish. The beer list is extensive, but nothing too special. It has all the domestics and a lot of typical craft beer you will see. If you are big into craft and looking for a new beer, you probably won’t find it here. That being said, for someone who likes the staples, they will have it.

Stopped here while in Philadelphia for dinner. Server was very friendly and very efficient. They have a large selection of drinks to select from. Food was very good and served as ordered. They had multiple and different types of sports on TV's for different types of sports fans. When one game was over they put another one on. I would not say 'an expansive menu of American fare' as the description indicates. The menu is adequate, there is a long list of beers on tap. Servers were slow and inattentive, got our apps with no utensils/plates/napkins and had to flag someone down. Liked the atmosphere and outdoor seating, unfortunately, that did not make up for the lousy service.

Super gross fly infestation in the dining room! It's not a pleasant experience when flies keep landing on the food, tables, windows, etc. The chicken wings were ok but that's about all this place has going for it. The mashed potatoes were cold, salty, and anything but fresh. The salmon entree was no better. The fish and sides were extremely cold and inedibly salty. We all left dinner more hungry than when we first sat down there. The waitress was nice, but service was unbearably slow. On top of all that, the manager - Drew - tried to downplay the terribleness of the food and came across as one of the fakest people I have ever met. This area has so many other restaurants; there is seriously no reason to subject yourself to such a horrendous meal.

This restaurant has plenty of potential but our waitress killed our first experience. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap and I inquired about the spicy sauce and I was told it was really spicy so I opted to get it on the side. Our food arrived by a food runner, and my sauce was missing. It took our waitress took about 10 mins to come over to the table to make sure our food came out fine, so I started to eat and the wrap was EXTREMELY bland. My wife ordered the Mac & Cheese and it was bland as well. just needed more flavor. Then when we finished our meal she didn't even ask if we wanted dessert or coffee or anything.

This place is really cool. In simple terms it's basically a giant bar. What it actually is is a place where you can get just about any micro or craft beer you can imagine. They have selections from microbreweries from all around the area here. The food is very good, but think of their selections as basically bar food with a few additional options (the menu isn't small). That being said, the food is much better than just standard bar food, and their burgers are great. There are also TVs everywhere. Highly recommended for beer lovers!

I came here last night (1/18) for a couple drinks after a movie. Sat at the bar. The bartenders were all really friendly and gave us menus right away. I’m recently getting into sours so I asked the girl bartender (the one with dark hair and glasses) for her recommendation and she gave me the Pink Sea Salt sour to taste! She even explained the differences between kinds of sours, which was really helpful since I’m kind of new to this whole craft beer thing. The guy bartender checked on us a couple times too and got my date refills as well. He was also really friendly. The only reason I deducted a star was because we sat directly under an air vent and it was freezing! Will definitely be back though!

my first time here was a spur of the moment trip. a friend recommended this place and it was looking good from the outside. we were seat quick but not given any water. I ordered the cranberry mojito. it came out somewhat quickly but it was too sweet in my opinion. I learn they were out of the impossible burger which really hurt because their menu doesn't have a lot to offer vegetarians. I ordered the kung Pao cauliflower and was pleased. it has some peppers but it wasn't spicy. I would get again. I would go there again as well.

Went to City Works today, 4/17/19 at 1:30 for lunch! Had buffalo shrimp, smoked wings, mac and cheese and 2 fish tacos. Service, beer, and the smoked wings were outstanding! Buffalo shrimp flavor was on point, but the shrimp were rubbery...terribly overcooked! Mac and cheese needed salt and more cheese and was runny; chunks of chicken in the mac and cheese were rubbery and overcooked! Fish tacos needed a little more flavor and salt and the fish was rubbery and overcooked! Bottom line; someone in the kitchen has a problem cooking protein! It's sad, because the last two times that I went everything was on point!

We have been there 3 times, every time had a great time there. They have a great selection of beer. Wings and Burgers are awesome. Special thanks to our waiter, Michael. He took care of us twice, he is really great.

Really nice indoor setting for casual dining and/or sports at the bar, but food wasn't superb. Our burgers were pretty average, and mine wasn't hot coming from the kitchen. First visit though and would still go back. Huge craft beer selection.

Place we hit with any guest in town. Great beer menu. Food is good. The ambience is above the mark and staff is friendly. Its a go to place for us and the gang.

The prices are a little high, but they have amazing food and very unique dinners. Even the fish tacos were amazing! Would have given five stars but we went back on another night just so a group I was with could have beers. I was designated driver and asked if I could have a soda at no charge. This is a pretty standard practice where I'm from, but the guy smirked at me and was like, "Uh, no." I wasn't paying for it anyway, so it didn't matter to me one way or the other, but drinking and driving is a serious issue (and can be a liability for the bar/restaurant), and I've just never experienced someone telling a DD they had to pay for a soda. If that went against some policy of theirs, the guy could've at least been kind about it rather than smug.

I guess this restaurant doesn't have bus pans because they use the same trays that delivery your food to bus dirty dishes off tables

I remember how good the food was when CW first opened. After my visit a couple days ago, I can’t say I want to return. I ordered the cheese curds and they are still delicious. Everything else that we ordered like the fish & chips, buffalo chicken dip and pretzel bites were just o.k. Considering the prices and portions, it’s not worth it. I was told the beer was really good and their tap selection is really diverse with several seasonal options. I hope this place can get back to where it was because I truly miss the City Works experience.

I love it here! I mean, 80 beers to choose from, how can you not. I love the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I do need to offer the disclaimer or I've only been here after 10 when the late night menu is offered, and this is usually our second stop, so we haven't really tried the food. The fries are good.

It was our first time there. We sat at the bar. The place is beautiful but the service is horrible! We had to practically beg to order a drink... Then we had to beg to order food. It wad not buddy either. The young girl bartender acted like we were bothering when we tried to talk to her. They are all unattentive. Will never go back!

Was meeting a friend and enjoyed some great beer and great service. The host was nice, bar staff attentive, and Max was great too! He brought my duck nachos. He was professional and hard working.

Yum Yum And more yum. Whoever designed this parking lot should have their engineering design license revoked (entire area is a nightmare!!!!) But as always the food was great and everything Cantors was well served. Absolute 5 stars Good luck with Parking

The barmaid to me was the worse. Was having a whole conversation with group of her friends and totallly ignored me and a few others. I've been there where the vibe was awesome just not that night.

It was good! Huge amount of beer selections and the food was good too. A little expensive but you get what you pay for; big TV's everywhere and wider food selection than a PJs or something. We go whenever we have a gift card.

Service attentive and professional. Menu diverse but not overwhelming. Appetizers and mains both good, fairly typical higher end bar fare. Wide, rotating beer selection, with options to taste. Many televisions placed strategically with good selection of content - great for watching "the game". Prices aligned with area, a bit on the higher side. Best to park in free lot or garage near LA fitness.
