This Restaurant is classified in the category of Italian restaurant.
Fancy restaurant with awesome services. We ordered read board with spicy Pepper, egg drop soup as appetizer. Pasta, Tuna, and Short rib as entree. American style flavor. A little bit salty with sour taste. Good looking dish, healthy made.
Nice, upscale place with good prices, great food and fantastic service.
A very enjoyable evening, walked in at 6 w/ no reservations so we had a glass of cab and a cheese plate at the bar, which was really good. Service at the bar was great; attentive and fast. Could have ordered our meal if we wished. Our table was ready exactly when they said. Tuna was cooked perfectly, mussels diablo special really good as well. Fresh bread really crunchy. If you dont want to wait, make reservations, otherwise enjoy the bar. Service all around attentive and professional. Fun atmosphere.
Good food. Beer menu way sub-par. But its an Italian place so good wine selection. Evens out.
Calamari was very bland. Shrimp scampi appetizer was very dry. Dinner however was perfect clams and linguini and bracoile. We had to get up from our table to go to the bar for another drink
Excellent food and service
Went here for my dad's 70th birthday dinner. We were a party of 8. Ordered apps and dinner together. Apps came out in 10-15 min, but then we waited for our dinner for at least an hour. The waitress never acknowledged the wait, said she was checking on it, never apologized. The manager came out while we were waiting and said he was sorry and it was coming out soon, but it took another 20 min after that. We had our 4- and 6-yr old too. Which made it harder. Eventually during our ridiculous wait, we asked for one of the wine bottles to be comped. The waitress rolled her eyes, but then the manager came over and said he would comp it. The food finally came out and it was mediocre. My plate of pasta was very hot, obviously under a warmer for a long time. Overall pretty bad experience and won't be going back.
The food was good but the service wasn't great. The server did not refill my water. My father had to ask for a lemon for his refilled ice tea.
Nice place to have dinner for my anniversary.
Nice place pleasant environment, good drinks, decent service, and fantastic food. Appetiser portions were a bit small imo, so get many if sharing with a larger group. We had 6 in ours and 3 apps didn't give full table coverage, but the main dishes were fantastic. I had the short ribs and was VERY happy with my selection. As were the others at my table, all left satisfied and happy. All in all a very pleasant evening and will keep it in mind if ever doing dinner down in Delaware again.
Close to work and convenient for lunch or happy hour that starts at 4:30. Good happy hour specials, good homemade pasta.
Great Italian restaurant, hidden in a residential area. Highly recommend.
The food was good, but the service was slow.
Perfect service, great food! Just wish the main courses were bigger.
Food... amazing. Service... fast and friendly. Great happy hour specials and a nice atmosphere!
Nice food and drinks. There's even an advantage to having an upscale-ish restaurant being 'off the beaten path." The downside, when full, is that the open floor plan and acoustics contribute to a less than desirable dining experience.
Really nice place for dinner, easy to find, food was good B+ to A-, recommended
Always delicious food and professional and friendly staff. Great for date night!
Excellent!! Everything from the greeting at the door, to the service, wine selection and delicious variety of Italian fare. May I also add that the Lemon cello martini is to die for!! As is the Tiramisu! Our server Kelly was am absolute doll. Very friendly yet professional! Again I say Excellent!! Thank you!
Fantastic service and food. Great spot.
Great atmosphere. Awesome food and service. A+ will be back for more.
Excellent food great atmosphere and a good bar
Amazing experiences every time I’ve gone. The food is delicious and atmosphere is lovely.
Nice place, inside and outdoor seating, very good food, sizes a little small for the prices.
very relaxing great Italian food.
Great food and great sevice! I didn't give 5 stars because there wasn't a changing table for babies in the bathroom.
Food was good. Best calamari I have ever had. The wait staff was amazing and very accommodating to our large group. Drinks were good as well.
Food was absolutely delicious. The staff is kind and friendly and the service is fast! Love going here for lunch! I recommend the skillet cookie if you have a chance to go!
Love this place. Great drinks and food. Eliza is our favorite. She always remembers our names and favorite drinks. See you soon.
My neighbor's went and we all enjoyed it
Nice atmosphere and good food. Very popular place. Recommend for either a quiet dinner for two or for larger parties.
Great service. Food choices were exceptional.
Upscale Italian played safe. Good place to take work colleagues, as there will be no surprises, but food is very good. A bit overpriced. Highly recommend the Panna cotta dessert.
I have dined here few times and have also ordered take out for 10-15 people several times. They always seem to get my order right and they have been quick with service. They have couple of really good things on the menu. I particularly like the lasagna.
Wonderful private party. The food and drink were fabulous, and they capably managed everyone's food preferences.
Truly a totally enjoyable place.
I've been here a few times and the food is very good. It's is certainly an upscale italian restaurant and most folks are dressed business casual. It is right next to a new parking garage so probably not the best location the ambiance. However, once inside, it is nicely decorated. There is a small market that you can shop in so you don't necessarily go just to dine.
Probably the greatest restaurant experience I have had since moving to Delaware. For an appetizer we had a garlic bread with parmesan and truffle butter which was so delicious I had to savor every bite. Their pappardelle with pork ragú and baby arugula was fresh, tender, and the arugula still had a little bit of a crunch to it. The Romano encrusted chicken was perfectly crispy and still juicy in the center, the tomato cream sauce a perfect compliment. For dessert we had a skillet baked cookie (I forget the name) with fudge, caramel, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. Every bite was sweet and heavenly. We asked for a sweet but not TOO sweet wine, and were recommended a reisling, which did not disappoint. Whatever scale you could use, this place gets the top score from us. On top of everything, the service was wonderful. Tip: make a reservation.
Quality food. Pleasant environment. Noisy when very busy. Steady activity
Great service and good food. The food isn't as authentic as other restaurants but it is very high quality. I'm giving this place 5 stars because the service is so good. Staff is very accommodating and they also are very hospitable. I just wasn't as impressed with the pasta dishes.
Amazing food. Attentive service. Very busy even on a Tuesday night. Make reservations before you go. This place is a mile from my house and I never knew home great it was until tonight. Will definitely be going back!
The food and service is great
Great food. The decor was very nice. Our service was excellent. I will definitely eat there again.
Consistently great food and service!
Great food and service, nice atmosphere.
This place outstanding. The food was awesome and the service was incredible. We left redfire grill, same owners, after not being waited on. The staff at capers and lemons definitely redeemed the night for us.
Good place and quality Italian food
Great food
Awesome service by Anthony! And, the food was perfect! If you haven't been here you need to try it!
Food was great. Service was excellent. I just wish the portions were just a little bit larger.
Food was excellent.
Nice fine dining restaurant. Great service. Good food
Food quality can be compared to that of Olive Garden, but the atmosphere was quite upscale, with proper lighting to create the nice ambiance. Good service, but mildly expensive.
Food took 45 min to come out
Delicious but noise level makes for challenging conversation.
The seared tuna entre was excellent. However, something had a big loading of MSG which I am sensitive to unfortunately. No harm done.
Our new fav. Can't believe we waited so long to go here. Food comes hot, fresh and so yummy. Atmosphere is great as is the drink menu.
The menu items we chose were delicious and the waiter was very attentive to our dining needs and a good conservationist. The atmosphere was modern but very comfortable. Both my spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining inexperience. Because of the atmosphere a causal dress code is more appropriate.
Good food generous portions.
Delicious! A little on the pricey side but well worth it. Excellent service. Patio is open!
It was my first time there. The food was amazing! The pasta was so fresh and delicious. The service was the best. Our server was Kelly and she was on top of everything. The atmosphere is great for conversations. I will definitely be back.
Amazing Food and Great Service
Food was good. WATCH OUT FOR THE STEP ON THE WAY TO THE MEN'S ROOM!! TO LOUD could barely hear my dinner guests
It was pretty good. I forget the name of the dish I got but it is pictured below! It was overall very good, but I would’ve preferred different seasoning on the chicken.
Food was great and drinks were even better.
Good food, no doubt. Trying to get Lemon slices for your water or soda seems almost impossible. Go figure...
Food good, atmosphere ehhhh. The music was blaring and didn't quite match the ambiance. I asked if it could be turned down, but it never did. Stinks I really wanted to go on a date night here but after that business lunch, I won't be returning.
High class food for a great price!
Pizza is very bad here. Other dishes ok.
Our server josh gave incredible service. Food all came out fantastic. Loved the cookie at the end. My Lord.
Visit about once per month. It's about a 40 minute drive, but always worth it. Shrimp and pasta turned out perfect this past Friday. Grace was a delight.
Always a wonderful time. Our server didn't make a mistake and there was at least 15 of us! It goes without saying the food was superb!
Such a great spot! The menu is simple yet tasty featuring very fresh ingredients and pasta. The bar is wonderful for a happy hour spot yeah the dining room is both formal enough for a fancy dinner and Casual enough for a quick bite for lunch
This place is closer than I thought I went a couple times and it was really nice both times for lunch
Food is just okay
Good dinner. Great service! Nice atmosphere.
Great food. A must go
Always the best food and service
Don't miss the meatballs! Perfection. Makes an awesome appetizer.
Minimal gluten-free options (even the "Pasta-less Eggplant Lasagna" contained breadcrumbs that couldn't be worked around, at least not at 6 p.m. (packed house) on a Saturday), but the short ribs with risotto were outstanding! In the summer, the shrimp & roasted corn salad is to die for. Nice wine selection, too.
The food is incredible. All of the Georigi restaurants are very well run, tastefully appointed and serve excellent food. Delaware is lucky to have their restaurants.
First time there. Had lasagna not good. Wife had seafood and pasta. She loved it. I would try it again because the food menu is diverse. Pleasant staff that were there always asking if you needed anything. Big drawback is the bathroom. Dirty. Only one toilet you would not want to use. And one urinal. For a supposedly up scale place it fails. Staff 5 stars. Overall 3 stars. 1 star if you need to use the restroom.
Good service but overpriced
Always a good meal and a great go to restaurant
Probably some of the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. Highly recommended. Food is top notch!!
A little out of the way but worth the trip
Was seated right away. Prices are high for the food portions. Had to send my boyfriend's dinner back as it was dry and bland. Would not recommend this restaurant.
The food is always good!! Waiter was average. Took a long time to take our order. We had to request bread for the table. Then it happened!! It took us almost 45 minutes to get our entrees after ordering! There is obviously a problem in the kitchen because all the tables around us also got there meals late. 3 stars because I like the food here. But, another experience like tonight and I will scratch this place off my list of places to go!!
Rick is a phenomenal server whose attention to detail provided for a wonderful experience. The food was great (I ordered the purple fingerling gnocchi and braised beef special) and the recommendations for wine and beer were spot on.
Great food great service
This restaurant was awesome...the food was well flavored and there was a nice variety. There was a bar area yet you would never know it as the sound from there was not heard within the restaurant. Our server Bill was knowledgeable about the menu items as well as making suggestions in regards to what we might like. This was our first time there an we were celebrating my brothers birthday. A good time was had by all and the manager nick even checked in to make sure our first experience was a good one. It was and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience.
Great food,and atmosphere. Always busy.
Above average casual dinning establishment for the area. Excellent presentation with attention to customer from seating through the courses. Food was delicious.
My 2 experiences here have been very nice. Our last server, Alicia, was the best ever. 5 stars.
I don't go there very often. When I walked in tonight, the bartender automatically poured me a beer of my preference. He also knew that I was going to have the calamari. He knew my name, he knew my preferences, I felt welcome, and at home. What a wonderful experience. The calamari is fantastic! Anthony is impressive and intelligent. What a great bartender!
Great food and great service!
Love this place! Casual atmosphere, great food and decent wine list, all without breaking the budget. My wife loves the little attached market. It's our go-to for take-out as well.
What a great experience! The server Anthony was awesome. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and we love going there for any occasion. We will definitely request Anthony again.
Absolutely delicious, with very fast service.
It was ok..nothing amazing. Atmosphere was nice but food not so much.
I have been here many times for business meal and family dinner. Overall good ambiance, very good italian food made with some local ingredients. Good presentation and they have local market too.
Quality Italian entrees, amazing desert, and tasty starters. Bread oil and spices are given as a starter. The overall food is great.
We were underwhelmed with their takeout. It was an uncomfortable experience simply placing the order! I was hassled to "get the bread" "get the bread" "get the bread". My husbands pizza was mediocre, my daughters pasta was terribly under seasoned and the braciole was tough and dry. I was very surprised, especially after reading so many glowing reviews.
Good service
Really good food. Not too pricey either. Excellent desserts.
Outstanding restaurant! Food and service were both excellent. Food is delicious and the give you big portions for the money.
Food/watress/atmosphere were all 10/10..recommend the chicken and mashed potatoes
Great modern food cuisine. Cry trendy
I've been here 2x, and the staff, food, drinks and atmosphere are all the best. I am also wheelchair bound. They are completely accessible, and very gracious / accommodating. Very highly recommended.
I went here with a group of 7 for lunch 2/2/19. I was looking forward to it because a couple of people I know had told me how good it was. First of all, it is hard to find if you never have been here before. They need some signs. When I went in, the first thing I noticed was the LOUD music. This wasn't background "dining" music, but rock music. I like rock music, but when I go to a nice restaurant with cloth service, I do NOT expect to be blasted with music that I would hear at a happy hour or a sports bar. They did turn it down when I complained. For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Piccata, a dish I have had many times in Italian restaurants, and even make at home sometimes. What I was served was tough and dry. It had not even been pounded down to a uniform thickness. It seemed that they had just taken some chicken breasts and with no further preparation, had precooked them and then heated up in the microwave which would explain them being tough and dry. The sauce, which should have had a "tang" to it was some bland glop with a slight hint of lemon. At an upscale restaurant, I expect an upscale dining experience. This most certainly was NOT!!!!
Good food. Great service. Portions should be a little larger. But the taste and quality of the food was very good. This place does get very packed for lunch, so call ahead and reserve. Parking is sometimes an issue too. But if you get in early, you should be fine.
Fail #1 - waiter started pushing for upcharge bread. We were served house bread that was so stale that it must have been made a week ago. Fail #2 - I ask for extra dressing on my Caesar Salad. Not because I just wanted it. I have a medical condition where I don’t produce saliva. Instead I got a salad with heavy lemon. It was awful. Fail #3 - I ordered the Cannolini with creamy tomato sauce. Not only was there no cream in the sauce the ends of the Cannolini were very crispy and over cooked. Fail #4 - my mom, whose birthday it was, ordered the ravioli. Aldendi is one thing but this stuff was basically inedible. Recommendation: Go some where else. I know I won’t be back.
This is only our 2nd visit and loved it just as much as the first.
Nice ambiance couples or groups.
Food and service outstanding.... parking not so much! My husband and I decided to celebrate Fat Tuesday at Caper's and Lemon's. When we pulled into the parking lot, there was not one parking space. Drove around the parking lot 4xs, and still none. Drove to parking garage near by hoping that maybe that was an option, it was not. Returned to parking again, driving around twice, and decided to park in a no parking area since I sent my husband in to be seated for dinner. Luckily someone was about to pull out and I grabbed that spot. I did see people doing the same thing, and left the parking area, appearing they would dine somewhere else. I shared my frustrations with the server when I finally sat down at our table. I was told there were two large parties (looked like business) and that must be why. If you've never been to Capers and Lemons, there literally are NO off street parking options, this restaurant is in business center and no open parking lots, just parking garages without public Access. Luckily the meal was outstanding and the Server was excellent!
Good food and the servers are very friendly. A little bit pricey.
Great Italian food here. Capers has a good bar, as well as patio and restaurant seating. service is great here also. Overall a very nice place to eat.
Nice location
Close to my job and great food!
Always great food and service.
Delicious I would recommend to anyone who likes Italian cuisine . Get the smoked prosciutto on the antipasti
Always a great place!
What an outstanding restaurant. The service was fast and top notch. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food not only came very fast but also tasted very delicious. The ingredients tasted very fresh.
The food was good but the portions are small for the prices charged. Also very noisy.
Food, service, atmosphere. All are first class. Highly recommend it.
Quiet and comfortable, food is always very good and the service matches. Another great meal out!
Excellent menu. Friendly, impeccable service with a great atmosphere.
Great service.
Good casual dining for personal or a work occasion. Typical Italian dishes prepared in an American way. dDecent wine selection, even though ours was a bit warm.
The food was delicious. The service was very good!
always a fabulous time with fabulous food and drinks service is top-notch in the meals are delicious it's definitely a place to go in northern Delaware.. we have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience great food at very reasonable prices
Always creative and delectable entrees served with appropriate style. Service was agonizing slow at our last visit - not the wait staff, but the kitchen. Warn not to go if you have any time constraint.
Food is ok but very pricey for what you get
Great food and atmosphere. Food and service was terrific.
The atmosphere was quiet and nice. The waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was perfect and the dessert was heavenly. All in all it was a perfect place to dine with family and have a wonderful experience. A little pricey, but worth it !!!
I love this restaurant. Excellent food, service, atmosphere. My kids love it too!
The cocktails and service were very good. The housemade pasta dishes sounded wonderful on the menu, but were very bland due to a lack of seasoning. The Caesar salad was excellent.
I went to this restaurant back in February and it was great. The food and drinks were EXCELLENT. When I’m in that part of town again I’ll definitely be eating there. I wish they had one in New Jersey.
Superior food and service.
The artichoke app is not as good as it was a year ago. ??? Nice place in a strange location. Kid friendly
Great outdoor seating, good food and nice service
The food was great a must go to
Nice happy hour
Capers & Lemon's is always a good time, with good food
Capers and Lemons is a great restaurant. Their menu is varied and changes to a dish like adding spinach etc. are invited. We have never had anything but super service with a smile. Our best server John, remembers all particulars for his customers. C&L is consistently good and our guests have been very pleased asking to go back when visiting us.
Good coffee. Wife and I shared a chicken piccata; delicious and provided the small portions we were looking for. Sunday noise level was low, fine for conversation. Lunch partners enjoyed brunch steak and eggs, salad, sandwich.
Delicious food, friendly and courteous staff, mellow and inviting atmosphere Would highly recommend
I've eaten here twice while visiting Wilmington . Both times the food and service were phenomenal.
Loved their salads
The service was excellent and food was really good!
So tasty and accommodating to dietary restrictions!
We had a 5:30 reservation. We entered the restaurant and the hostess was on the phone... Stood there for a good 3+ minutes without her ever looking up or acknowledging us, - then it took 15 minutes for a waiter to arrive, once he arrived he was excellent. Salad and soup came out in a reasonable amount of time and was good, then we waited 45 minutes for our entrees which were only warm and at best mediocre. We will not be returning.
Food was artfully crafted to perfection. Our waitress was the best in the business!
This place is always packed & the food is always excellent!
Amazing food great wine and increable atmosphere
Great food! Pasta and sauce was excellent. Waiter was very nice. It is not too loud in there and easy to carry on a conversation at your table. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food. Ingredients tasted fresh. Very friendly and courteous staff.
Accommodating chef for my celiacs. Very attentive wait staff. The suggested wine was an excellent pairing.
