Excellent food and service! Fantastic for brunch, I've gone there many times. I've taken my mom, my grandmother and even a former girlfriend there. Very cool spot, off the beaten path and pretty much out of the way of big crowds and the city.

Jacqueline McClain

Just wanted to express our appreciation for our meal tonight...we returned after the air conditioning issue last week...a tough time for staff and patrons alike. Tonight was a wonderful turn around..we had appetizers for our meal and each one was tastier than the last..and our service was impeccable..We want to thank Carolyn, the restaurant manager, for her kindness and concern that ensured our return tonight. She is a true gem and we enjoyed her hospitality tonight..we look forward to our next visit in the near future.

Mary Lynch

Really nice setting. Like stepping back in time inside. The terrace area is nice also. They have live music.

This is the second time I went to this restaurant. Hopping to get the same good service and food, we instead got a bad service from the begining to the end and the food didn't fall that behind. It was around 4:00 pm and it was not that busy (just about 2 or 3 tables), but we had to wait like for about 20 minutes for the appetizer. On top of that, we didn't get bread until after the ate our appetizer, the glass of wine was dirty with dried wine drops inside it and was all cover with grease finger prints. Also, to my disappointment the burgers were burned, on the second try the burger had burned bacon and there were not cooked as I requested (medium rare). Definitely, I won't recommend it. It is a hit and missed , there is not consistency in the service and the food.

A good place for a good meal.

Diane Hatfield

Chicken salad sandwich was delicious.

Megan Trader

We loved the historic atmosphere and tasty menu. I recommend the beet and arugula salad.

Valerie Bieber

If you're looking for a historic tavern feel, this is the place! Had great lunch fare. Caprese burger and oyster shooter with special veggie marinated vodka - delightful. And to top it off, a stroll around the town to look at Odessa's historic houses - a memorable stop on our way to MD.

Joyce McGee

Loved it there...food was wonderful

Thomas Helms

Quaint and rustic old building and decor gives this restaurant and bar a historical and comfortable feel. The bartenders were very friendly, the bloody mary was pretty good and I've had them everywhere, and the crab cake sandwich was delicious and fresh tasting, as were the mussels.

James Dixon

Excellent oysters to start, plus deviled eggs (!). Dinners were good too, especially the Cioppino. Seated in the bar due to a glitch in the reservation system but all good.

Marialena Kearns

Drinks were awesome. Ribeye cheese steak was incredible! Meaty taste with yummy cheese.

Lynda Wilson

Atmosphere is lovely. Great waiter, very pleasant. Menu is different, but good. We has the corn soup. It is consistently delicious! Bread is good. On the healthy side i would say. Little things are important to us, so we frequent this resaurant. Love the HUGE fireplaces too! Old world charm!

Elaine Baran

Friendly staff, great brunch menu!

Lisa Kennedy

Cool surroundings in an old, historic building. Food was really good with attentive servers. Great spot.

Alexis D

I’ve been here twice now and this place is consistently amazing! Their food is always perfectly cooked and fresh. All of the employees are personable and provide excellent service.

Richard Blaser

Great place for brunch. We loved the chicken salad sandwich, bread was very good. Short ribs with grits was very delicious. You should definitely go and enjoy. Easy on and off route 1, and gas station nearby too.

Amy True

If you're around, you've gotta go to this place. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Try the salmon dip with bagel chips; it's so good!

Lisa-ann Bryfogle-Aguilar

Great service this evening!

David Landon

Great food and service. Excellent drinks!

Rob Lennon

Came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and got a table right away. Only complaint could be the fact that there's no bathrooms on the second floor. But that's no reason to change my perception of this place. Also the oysters were awesome

Tish Iverson

Food was delicious, service was awesome!

Scarlett Hutton

Food was great, service was great! Cute place, inside bar, outside seating. In an old historic building. Great date location. With awesome midweek specials. Love it!!

Justin Koerner

Here for Thanksgiving today. Absolutely amazing staff and food. A delight to all the senses. Morgan and Lindsay are excellent bar tenders/waitresses. A versitile menu selection excellent drinks all wrapped together with a building that screams culture and history. If you don't have a wonderful time here it's probably cause you're a jerk.

Lewis Flip Barnes

The ambiance and food are wonderful. The staff(Ashley) and management(Val) are professional and will meet your every need.

T FC

Always great food. I would also recommend making reservations for dinner

Joe Matarese

Leisurely nite on their outdoor patio. Great nite just had a drink

A Mer

This place is a gem. Awesome craft beer selection, infused rums, and a good wine list. The serve fresh oysters and have a classy menu. This is a stand-up place that is suitable for fancy dinners as well as casual happy hour drinks.

CursedKeyblade1

Never change their menu, food is always hit or miss and is too expensive.

I had to give this place a 2 because the service was very bad. Husband and i stopped here for lunch & we had a very good salad, an ok salmon and a delicious dessert. Husband's short rib was a lil salty. We were seated right next to bar and it wasnt busy at all, no excuse for me having to get up for 2 times to request a drink and a dessert menu. Our friends recommended this place and it was ok but the service was definitely a big disappointment.

Katelynn Wertsch

Stopped here on our way back from St. Michael's. For us it seemed like a hidden gem! Great food and drinks plus excellent service. The outdoor eating area was really nice for a warm, sunny day.

Alayna Kemery

The food is absolutely phenomenal here! I went there on a dinner date with my husband and then a couple months later we went there for Sunday brunch with my in-laws and it was amazing both times! The atmosphere is really cozy and the historical background of the place is pretty cool! It's also not very expensive at all! I highly recommend the crab dip for an appetizer. You won't be disappointed!

John Pulci

Meal was excellent until dessert. No cappuccino. Seems like machine has been broken for months. Also the cream puff left a lot to be desired. Service was too notch.

Dan Frazier

My wife and I often select Cantwell's for our date nights or group dinners. We like going here when it's cold as the fire places are on and the atmosphere is comforting and cozy. The beverage menu has a lot of great options. I really enjoy the burgers and flat breads. Lunch on the patio is nice too. Service is always good to great. There is nothing "average" about this place. Reservations recommended... They get quite busy.

Laura DuBois

Upscale pub. Beautiful old tavern. Good food. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Dana Knotts

Monday night is burger night and they are worth it! Half price! So for less than the price of a burger at McDonalds or Hardees and 100% tastier. I had a delicious grapefruit crush and $1 of the crush goes to the Breast Cancer Awareness the entire month of October. Stop by and see the friendly staff, they have a patio if you enjoy eating outside. I recommend a strawberry bliss if you make the trip it is a signature drink and deliciously fruity. Crab cakes are tasty and make your own bloody mary on Sunday for brunch can be just as spicy as you like. Their are special throughout the week so be sure to check it out and tip the staff well, they work hard and enjoy their jobs!

Kathleen Norman

Having had lunch there recently I had decided I wouldn't go there again; Slow service, alcoholic mixed drinks made wrong, portions very small. Asked to go to dinner 2 weeks later and had a great experience. Food was delicious and plentiful, waiter was on top of everything, and bartender got everything right! Will have to go again to finalize opinion.

Alison West

In the last 2-3 years we've tried Cantwell 8 times. The first time was for lunch. We both got burgers. They were decent, though nothing special. Same with the service. I would have rated it a 3...average. About 6 months later, we went there for dinner for our anniversary (approx. 2.5 years ago). The food and service was excellent- 5 stars. Next time the service was good, but we had to send back one of the appetizers and my soup. Neither were hot. The replacements were very good - 4 stars. The next several times we went there for dinner, the service and the food was average at best. One time we ordered dinner. My husband ordered ribs and I ordered a RARE steak. His came out. I waited 10 more minutes and my meal never came out. I called the server to find out where my dinner was. “Oops! I’ll go check” he said. He came out few minutes later with my steak. When I cut into it, it was room temperature and medium well done! I’m guessing it sat under a heat lamp for over 15 minutes. I had to send it back. By the time they brought me a properly prepared meal, my husband was already done eating and ready to leave. He said his ribs were delicious, though the portion was very small. They ended up giving us a gift card to compensate us for the bad experience. If not for the gift card we would never have gone back again. So tonight, we decided to use the gift card and give them one more try. Another poor experience! We ordered 2 appetizers. The first was the prosciutto flatbread with that was supposed to have peach marmalade and goat cheese for $12. It should have been good. It wasn’t. The flatbread was not as described. It had the meat and cheese, however instead of peach marmalade, it had some cut up cooked peaches (possibly poached) tossed on top. BLAH! The bit of sweetness from the peach marmalade would have perfectly offset the tanginess of the goat cheese. The chunks of peach were tasteless. When we asked the server about it, they said sometime things are changed and don't match the description on the menu. REALLY??? Either fix your menu or prepare the food as described!!! The steamed shrimp was fine, in fact it was the on decent part of our entire meal. Then again, bow do you screw up shrimp cocktail??? My husband ordered iced tea. They didn’t even bother to put a slice of lemon in it. Really?!? I had a glass of white wine. Hard to mess up. For dinner, my hubby ordered the Twin Crab Cakes with sugar snap peas, bacon, and whipped ricotta for $28. Although not the best crab cakes (too much filler) they tasted good and were not over seasoned. The cakes were served on top of the sugar snap peas. While the crab cakes came out hot, the beans were cold. I don’t know if they were supposed to be cold or not, but I certainly would not serve hot crab cakes on top of cold beans. He only ate 2 bites of the beans. I ordered the Grilled Scallops with basil ricotta risotto, asparagus, bacon and preserved lemon gastrique for $27. There were only 4 medium size scallops (about 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter). They were coated in seasoning, including black pepper. The only thing you could taste was the pepper. ***Chef, don’t you know, scallops have a delicate, slightly sweet flavor that is completely overwhelmed by anything other that a little bit of salt???*** I traded my husband one of his crab cakes for my scallops. Although he likes blackened food, he completely agreed with me, that the seasoning and pepper totally overwhelmed and killed all taste of the scallops. He scraped off as much as he could with his knife, but said it was still bad. At least the risotto and gastrique were tasty. So in a nutshell, the small portions (of meat) were poorly prepared and definitely not worth the price on the menu. Thankfully they comped us by taking the appetizers off the bill and we had the gift card, so our out-of-pocket was only about $14 plus tip. I guess a glass of wine and shrimp cocktail is worth $14. Fortunately, I had leftovers from the night before available to heat up when we got home!

K Ped

Cool little spot. Food is pretty basic

Lauren Unrath

Nadir Osborne

Best burgers around.

Chris Carnelli

Never had a bad meal here. Consistently delicious.

John Rowe

Nice old Colonial style tavern

Angela Clark

Service left a lot to be desired. Took a bit to have server come over, they took drink orders and we waited, finally came back but was missing two orders. Brought one order and forgot other one. After a while a person from our party, went to bar and there it was sitting on the bar so he brought it back to table. Same thing happened with food order. Our party was just about done eating, when server brought out last persons order. Food was just so so. Not sure I would go back.

Harline Dennison

Very good menu. Coffee great! Environment comfortable and pleasant.

Robert Tonden

Good food relaxing day

Sandra Clevenstine

Excellent food and excellent service. Slightly pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Marschia Valentovich

Service always attentive and professional. I love sandwiches and the cheeseburgers and cheesesteaks are delicious. The building is a gracious step back in time.

Andrew Willingham

The only drawback to Cantwells Tavern is I always spend too much money there. Other than that the Bloody Mary is excellent, their craft beer selection is excellent, and the food borders on cuisine.

Devon Dorman

Beautiful historic home restaurant. Eat in different rooms throughout the house. There is an elevator, but you have to ask. Food was very good.

George Savaren

The food was excellent and our server Diana was not only a great server but she was funny and very cute! I recommend to all!

Ted Hinderer

Always great food and service

Linda J. Qualls Kieffer

Really good food and atmosphere! Best service in town!

Seyi Tikare

Decided to support a local restaurant, so we stopped here. I always see cars parked around here and the reviews looked nice. The place looks like they usually have lots of customers. This night was different however, it looked like a slow night. The service was great, our server kept checking up on us ☑️. As I said, it was a slow night, but it looks like a place that would be lively otherwise. The menu was very clear and concise ☑️. The food? Well, maybe I chose the wrong item on the menu. I was in an adventurous mood, so I tried the Beer can chicken. Needless to say, it wasn't a wise choice, I didn't care for the taste. It came with hush puppies and

Pàul Lepore

Great food and atmosphere!

Kay Huether

Went there last night and was disappointed with the menu. Selected the portabello burger which was not as advertised, i.e. carmelized onions were raw onions and the sauce was excessive making it a very messy meal but not very tasty. The salad really lost me - no lettuce but a tangled pile of green weeds with a selection of only 4 dressings. I wanted ranch or thousand island but neither was available but no loss because the weeds were inedible. The bloody mary was so heavily peppered it left me with a mouth on fire. All in all not a very pleasant experience. P.S. The service was very good and very friendly.

George Cullin

Great staff

Theresa Alward

Went for happy hour. It is a lovely bar and the bar appetizers were great and a good size

Christine Graham

Very attentive staff. The crab event today was well worth it! Delicious and endless crabs!!!

Kim Williams

Nice outside evening dining. Food was great!

Eric Flynn

Very nice local spot. Food has always been great.

Sky Fogal

Service was fast and friendly. It was clear that I was the only non regular at the bar but that didn't stop them from making me feel welcome. Food was really good and my salmon blt was cooked perfectly.

Angelina Owens

The food and service is amazing. Whenever I visit my sister in school we always end up eating dinner there. The popcorn shrimp is the best and it has a very relaxing aura.

Heather France-Kelly

On a recommendation from a friend, my mom and I stopped in and had lunch! What a pleasant surprise in Odessa! The service was pleasant, atmosphere historic and quaint, and the food was top notch! Try the mushroom pizza!

M B CARISTI

The chefs over try. Too many ingredients ruin a dish. My oysters had a ton of sand in them last night. The waiting staff is great though. Took over an hour for warm bread. I gave up and cancelled the order for bread. Wine and beer list is great though.

Ed McGuire

Great food.

Mr.G

"Farmhouse Burger" is the Best Burger I've EVER HAD!!!! My 2nd time here... and I will be returning. Awesome Place!!

Rick Tighe

Great food and service!

bob h

Tried to eat here today. Seats are extremely uncomfortable and could not stay due to recent back surgery. Had a look at the menu prices also. Wasnt going to pay those prices for the portion sizes we saw came to other tables.

Richard Hourigan

Food is very good and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Waitress was very nice also.

Mike Eisenbraun

Great food. Oysters were awesome.

Judi Drummond

I really wanted this to be a wonderful evening celebrating my mother's 85th birthday but it was mediocre at best. The reservation was for 6 people at 5 but they had us down for 6 people at 6. In the end it wasn't a problem, but not until the two ladies at the hostess desk had well and truly put us in our place with lots of eye rolling, shaking of heads, and telling us we got it wrong. I thought this was a high-end restaurant, but as we were being seated I noticed people in hunting gear and baseball caps. We were served drinks and then suddenly all our meals and salads were dumped at once. Several of us asked "shouldn't the salads have come out first?" but got no answer. My nephew got the special, scallops with lobster risotto, and said it was good. My brother got the meatloaf and enjoyed it. His girlfriend got chicken pot pie and said it was cold. Two of us got crabcakes and agreed they were tasteless. Worst of all, my mother's salmon was raw even though she specifically asked the waitress to make sure it was cooked through. She couldn't eat it. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said "I hate it when the chef doesn't pay attention to us. I wrote it on the order." But no apologies or offers to make amends. Mom took it home and cooked it for dinner the next day. I don't usually write reviews, I just don't go back. But I like the ambience of the old house and would like to try it again so maybe sharing these thoughts will result in some better training of the staff.

Herbert Bacon

Very nice place 4 Group Gathering! Food was Fine!

Jenn Brant

Great food and atmosphere, impeccable service too! I had crabcakes and my hubs had the salmon blt scrumptious!!

nick kimmet

John Stachowski

An undiscovered gem in a unique location. It has a nice cost fireplace for winter dining

Rick Mills

Great food and service. Would definitely come back.

Alan Glazar

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I am so glad I experienced Cantwell's. I am coming back

Jack Marshall

Good food. Atmosphere, and friendly bar maiden

bowen butler

The service was good and waitress was very friendly. The make your own bloody Mary bar was decent, but mildly lacking in things to add compared to some others I have seen and also a little haphazardly organized. I ordered the Chesapeake Benedict, which was sub par. The crab cakes were good and seasoned rather well and not overpowering so the delicate taste of the crab was well balanced. The eggs were over poached, one yolk was cooked completely and almost dried out, thus taking away a key element to a successful Benedict. Additionally, the hollandaise was scarce and thin, a bit more would have improved upon the dish. The English muffin was not toasted, which caused didn't allow for a good contrast of texture that is required for a successful Benedict. The home fries were cooked and seasoned well. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. Smoked salmon blt, sausage biscuits and gravy, and a side of scrapple which was also cooked well and cut to a good size.

Diane Albanese

Full of character, you must stop by here for a delicious cocktail and some appetizers! Ask about the history of the building and enjoy spending time in a place that has such richness. Odessa is a gem! Cantwell’s is the very essence of charm. The menu is extensive. I wish I had ordered the crab cake sandwich. My beef dinner came out on the cold side but I was enjoying my friends so I didn’t mention this. The waitress Laura was very attentive. Just wish the fireplace was lit.

George S

Once again, Cantwells delivers! Very tasty meal and excellent service. Our server Diana is second to none and, to top it all off, she's VERY cute!

Lauren Elizabeth

We recently discovered Cantwell's and were very impressed. The hostesses and wait staff were polite, friendly, and made wonderful recommendations. The decor pays a tribute to its historic roots with a touch of present day charm. The music selection was also perfect for the feeling of the restaurant. The quality of the food was incredible and the variety allowed for every type of eater (picky to adventurous) to be pleased and happy with their choice. You could really taste how fresh everything was. We will definitely be making this our new place!

mike powers

This is the Pub others in Delaware aspire to be. Parking is a bit wonky, but nothing outrageous. Had a terrific lunch, burger and cheesesteak. Supposedly they have a Brunch on Sunday, and a great Filet Mignon for dinner. I would recommend.

Jim Pappas

Cantwell's Tavern Odessa DE - When you ‘have to take her someplace nice,’ but what a cheesesteak; this is your place. A touch pricey to be your everyday cheesesteak. At $14.50 (50 cents for 'shrooms) it is not very overpriced but add $7.75 for a draft and tip, it starts to add up. I love Odessa. Who knew Delaware had a mini Williamsburg. The cheesesteak wasn’t cut in half and I was worried about it when I first saw it. The roll looked too big and bready and I couldn't see how much cheese was in there. To my delight, the roll, meat and cheese work together perfectly on this cheesesteak. If you are looking for a nice place in an awesome historic setting to get a cheesesteak, Cantwell Tavern is your place.

T Lake

Food and service were great! However, the table with two couples next to us were obnoxiously loud. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic dinner, the quiet part might be a challenge. Although, the restaurant is split into various rooms in the converted colonial era home. As for the food, we loved the tuna nachos! The onion rings and burgers were very good too. Kids had the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese meals and were very happy with their choices.

KATHLEEN MCAVOY

It was DELICIOUS FOOD, warm friendly service and filled with fireplaces and history of Odessa.

John Appleby

Pretty good historic pub food and Dogfish 90 on tap.

Elizabeth Yealey

Food was glorious. Worth every penny and then some. Fabulous atmosphere and a superb menu selection. Drinks were experly crafted!

Timothy Watson

Went there for brunch a few weeks ago and the food was great as always. Excellent craft beer selection and great menu. The scrapple cheese steak was fantastic.

Stephen W

Good food, sometimes tight seating. Definitely nice setting.

Gary Bright

Good location and food selection.

Benjamin Hunter

Good food, friendly staff

Diana Lane

1st time there. Food and service was excellent. Would recommend it.

Donna Beck

This is our favorite restaurant when we are in Northern Delaware. You will not be disappointed. In the summer they have live music outside on their patio. 15th visit. It is nice to find a place you can count on EVERY visit not to disappoint you.

Winston Gibson

Food was ok, but a bit pricey. The atmosphere was authentic, second floor dining room and all.

Ashley Bowser

Very good food. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. But I didn't mind the walk. Bathroom is all the way back in the basement. But like i said great food. I would go back again.

Sabrina Zannino

The Prime Rib Cheesesteak was TDF! The salad that my husband got was small and not much to it (disappointing for a $14 salad). Great servers and hostess. We felt a little out of place with our attire, so I would say this is a dressy casual place to eat.

Richard Bulson

Our appetizer was delicious, dinner was divine and our dessert was just delightful. Combine all that with a wonderful waiter and a cozy atmosphere and it made for one great date night.

Dan Lam

Went to Odessa, DE for lunch. I ordered the grill salmon sandwich for lunch with onion ring. The sandwich was very tasty and I love the onion ring. Definitely recommend this place for lunch. This place is older than all 3 of our ages combine...so lots of History.

Derek Smith

Great atmosphere, and the meatloaf was awesome.

Lori Schmelz

Great food. My waiter was amazing.

Diane Cohen

Loved the service and the ambiance. Food and drinks delicious.

Sumer Edger

The servers flirt with your husband, I would never ever recommend this place to any of my friends or the courts I work for. Very unprofessional. My name is Sumer Dyer, my husband used to go years ago said food was ok I didn’t have same experience do not recommend this place for classy women who expect professionalism.....

Patti KS

This is an enjoyable place to have a drink or a meal. We especially like eating outside in the "garden". The historic building and surroundings are nice. It's a very nice place to meet friends and/or celebrate an event. It's very popular and gets busy so if it's important to you, make a reservation.

Scott Dillon

Great menu and never a bad experience. It's on the $$$ of things, but worth it for a really good atmosphere and meal. Good beer list, too. The only thing I would improve is their water. I mean, get a carbon filter, peeps! I want the 1660s of Cantwell's Bridge to remind me of simpler times, but I don't need THAT Cantwell's water. Overall though, I've always enjoyed a meal here. Good outdoor seating if the weather is right, too.

John Brereton

Always excellent food and nice atmosphere.

Lou Baranowski

Great food. Great atmosphere. History. Feed your body and find. Drinks are cool and just oh so right. In the summer enjoy the patio with good friends or a special someone. You will enjoy it. Waitstaff is conscientious and attentive.

Sarah Z

Brunch was great though service was a little slow.

Jan Bex

Best place to eat for miles around. Meals taste like home cooking, service is fantastic and it's serves in a historic house that gives off a cosy feeling. Great beer selection too. It's not fancy or anything but simply very good.

Andrew Smith

The food was barely adequate and the prices were astronomic. The small plate we chose as appetizer was the Chef's Tasting board which cost nearly $20 and consisted of a small selection of cheeses, one slice of prosciutto, 3/4 slices of salumi, a few melba toast like things, olives, hummus, baby corn and pickled peppers. For the main course my wife chose the grilled scallops which had four modest sized, well charred scallops on a small bed of tasteless ricotta risotto topped with a sprinkling of chopped thin asparagus; a barely adequate meal for nearly $30. My cioppino linguine had four small mussels with barely any meat in them, 6 or so tail on shrimp and a mess of crab meat shreds in a somewhat spicy tomato soup like sauce with linguine that had been cooked way beyond al dente and this was topped by one charred crostini. The service was attentive and pleasant and when bread was requested it consisted of some poorly made bread rolls that were cold, doughy and not well risen. The only reason I didn't complain at the time was that my wife and I were there at her daughter's invitation for a mother's day dinner. The overall menu was a strange concoction of dishes but the pizza and burgers looked good and would be worth considering at 50% of the price. The highlight of the meal was the dessert course with all of the dishes looking and tasting great.

David Ohlerking II

Good food, nice people

Sarah Kelly

Atmosphere is great but food quality has gone down hill.

John Mcdaniel

Always fresh amazing food, they change the menu up every season. Leave plenty of classic choices, while adding many new entrees to try. Oh and a ton of beer or tap as well.

Travis Shalaby

Wonderful food

Brian Stanton

Always good food.

Terry Otis

Quaint. Lovely, food above average Great for lunch

Cheryl B

Very nice establishment. A little on the upscale side. Food is good.

Kelly Sharp

Great new menu! I especially loved the Beet Carpaccio salad - so creative and delicious. The Tuna Nachos are always amazing, and I'm so glad to have the Odessa Spring Water back on the cocktail menu. Jade makes the best!

Luttrell Family

Mussels are great. Staff was friendly at the bar. Best visit to date. If you have not been here is oyster season your missing out.

Cynthia Lowther

A charming dining experience in a historical tavern. The food was great and the beer menu was more than I expected. I'll be back!

Kathy Graham

Really like this place. Delicious food, friendly and professional staff and a very cool colonial building.

Ernie Martelli

The best !!

Adeline Saylor

Cozy historic restaraunt. It was my first time here but it is a local favorite for my family whom I was visiting. My burger was a little overdone but I personally would always rather that than underdone. Overall really nice place.

Elena Walker

The Winter Sangria is amazing and the food was delicious

Aaron Stoneburner

Excellent food and service! We always enjoy eating here. Get the bread pudding, it's delicious!

Holly Williamson

Great place. Loved the old charm. Menu was beyond expectations. Would definitely return......

David Baranowski

Nice atmosphere and history in quaint Odessa. It was very warm. The food was really good but our server had some things in our order not right and the wait for our food was quite long. To be fair the manager did not charge us for the one item that wasn't' right. I will go back in the future to give another chance.

Dev Rahul

Awesome place for food drinks and chat The service was simply amazing as was the food. .

Connie Willoughby

Fabulous filet dinner! !

Don Hass

We usually go for special occasions. The past couple visits have gone down over time. The food is good but nothing really special anymore. Service during last visit was less than stellar.

Tina Sturgis

Grilled oysters out on the patio - superb!

Cristina Lambiase

A little pricey, but well worth it. The fireplace burning is cozy and the $4 bloody Mary bar (Sunday brunch) was very good with tons of fixings from which to choose. Make a reservation though, as it's their busiest day of the week!

Noy Pookongnam

19th century tavern turned restaurant. The night we went, it was my first time dinning there. Stater wee had the charcuterie board it was excellent and it was enough for 4. With that said i wasn't going to order a big dinner as usual but, next time... so i had a bacon cheeseburger topped with a fried egg on top. Service was good, had a good knowledge of the menu and a fully stock bar with lots choices for beers. We will return for date night.

Sandy Pitney

Food is okay, dining tables are arranged too close, but the old home appeal is great.

William W

The scenery is really nice, and the food is really good. I mean, the menu does change every season but it allows for people to try even more of the really good food they have to offer! Really recommend.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service, Morgan was charming and attentive as our server. Historical building and savoury dinner. Enjoyment and friendliness enjoyed by all. Ain't the beer cold. I will be going again.
