Well, the foods wasn't the best.... pancakes and sausages were burned the bacon wasn't cooked. When the manager brought out our food she noticed the burndt food. The cooks weren't on their game today, but the manager on duty was very helpful. She had our food recooked (much better).

Loved this place. I'm from Texas and Jim's is the big thing there,it reminded me so much of it. They're friendly,sweet and service was quick on a very busy morning. We ordered so much food and the bill was under 30 bucks. Totally awesome. Will definitely be eating there again.

Our server was excellent & at one point was physically running while trying to handle all her customers. Food was good but got pancakes without butter & by the time it arrived they were cold. It was an off time (Saturday around 2:30) so there shouldn't have been a problem and the restaurant wasn't full, but they clearly needed more help. Guess that's hard to predict.

Service was great. I had not seen a Bob Evans in years. I had the two meat breakfast. Thought they were a little lite on the potatoes but the burnt sausage was a real turn off considering Bob Evan's were always known for their sausage. Have been past original farm in Rio Grande OHIO many years ago. Quality just doesn't seem like I remember.

Bob evens has changed so much. One of the two things that I order has been taken off the menu. The other is home fries. They changed too. They were so gross and bland. They looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. Brown and dry and flavorless. When I asked about them, I was told that was how they look now. That they changed them. I won't be coming back. I only eat two things off your menu. I won't be going back any more.

Gonna be honest! Wasn’t really thrilled about eating dinner here! I ordered the blackened sirloin with a baked potato and, at the suggestion of our waitress, Mac and cheese. The steak was absolute perfection!! Seriously, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Sirloin is usually a bit tougher, but I ordered this medium and it melted in my mouth! Baked potato(loaded) was delicious as was mac and cheese. Service was excellent also. Highly recommend this place, and I’m a hard sell!! I’m going back very soon. Way to grill a steak, Shawn

It was the worst food and service I have ever had a Bob Evans. I ordered the build your own omlete and was given and omlete and over cooked and under cooked home fries and no bread. I asked the waitress and she said bread doesn't care me with it. What whenever you order breakfast you always get bread, biscuit or English muffin. She brought it after I pulled up the menu on my phone and showed her, then the toast was burnt no jelly. My husband ordered the 2/5.99 he ordered chicken noodle soup and loaded potato. He got a bowl of soup and a plain baked potato and it was half raw and half cooked. I will not be returning to Bob Evans

I want to Thank Bob Evans Columbia, Md.. My family has been tainted with my son in law at the age of 40 diagnosed with stage 4 Colon/liver cancer. We’ve been living out of the hosp for the last 6 plus weeks as 4 operations later with set back after another .. I googled where I could find to have a thanksgiving dinner for pickup because no way we had the time to cook/shop and of all times needed to be together as a family. I called on Tuesday to put our order in.. I went this morn at 1030 to pick up. Everything was ready which took about 5 minutes or less to pay for with the folks carrying everything to my car!!! When I say full service.. Truly full service . I wasn’t sure what I would find in the Feast box but we were all pleasantly surprised. Everything you could want for a Thanksgiving dinner and then some.. We had to fight the grandson for the Mac and cheese.. I would highly recommend Bob Evans for dinner anytime. Price was so on target as I didn’t have to shop/prepare just pickup and enjoy. Less stress, less mess. I would do again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you !!! The Brooks/Jones/Stelmack’s!!! ❤️

I left my bag at the hotel and had to come back, which meant we had breakfast at Bob’s three mornings in a row. Excellent food and service in each case. We really like road trips because they are the only time we get to enjoy Bob Evans. Be sure to search for coupons before you go. They are often available online.

Ok, so the food would have been good but it was nearly cold when we got it. Also, my husband ordered a salad and I ordered soup (which we should have got before our meals) and we had to remind them we ordered it when they brought our meals. Oh, I'm not finished, my husband ordered the turkey, carrots, stuffing, mashed potatoes meal. It did not come with carrots and by the time he received carrots after asking twice the rest of his food was cold. Never got a refill for our drinks and just flat out bad service. I will return to Bob Evans but not at this location!!!

Great place to get a classic home feeling breakfast. Lots of choices on the menu in general, and options outside of breakfast too. Staff was very friendly and timely with getting us served. Their peach tea was also really good and I highly recommend it. Prices are also very affordable for the portions and quality of food you get too.

Ok...sorry I didnt take pics...I know...my bad. But here's my input according to MY experience. Food is not suuuuper tasty but it is ok. If you dont feel like cooking Sunday morning it is worth the drive. The amounts are very generous, more than enough. I liked their vegetable beef soup. They need better waitresses, i ordered a side of hollandaise sauce for my eggs and my eggs got cold waiting for it. Lol... Then we told waitress the onions on the hashbrowns were raw and she offered us a side of cooked onions LMAO! So what were we supposed to do with the ones in my hashbrowns?? Pick them all one by one, every little piece then take the ones cooked and mixed them up? Common sense...sometimes goes inadvertently. I asked what was Breakfast tea? She didnt know...I didnt know but she works there...she is supposed to know. Is it black tea? A mixture of herbs? Who knows? Ot os breakfast tea!! Hahaha... So not to make this post too long (like it isn't already) i gave it 3 stars on this visit. Maybe next time will be better and I will take pics.

Horrible!!!!!!! I sat at the bar top with my father. I had to get my own silverware for us both, my own napkins. Then we ordered both our orders where wrong. They over charged me for something we didn't order. Then the manage came over and wasn't much help herself. I would give it 0 stars but you have to at least give it 1. Your better off eating at the gas station next store.

I visited Bob Evans a couple of days ago and I got The Original. The eggs weren’t cooked right, the bacon and the waffles were burnt! After I finished my meal my stomach hurt very bad and I felt sick so I went to the bathroom and handled my business. My stomach still hurt, it hurt all day and I was always in the bathroom. Then the next day it still hurt and I was still in the bathroom. It lasted a long time. I will never go back!

Constructive criticism is hard for many. First, some waitresses greet their table with a pot of coffee in hand, awesome tactic! Others don't, this is a misstep. Next, check your table, coffee, water refills, this is important, we shouldn't have to ask for coffee or water refills, keep your eye out while walking past your section. Third, pre-bus the table prior to the main course, especially if your customer has already put everything to the edge of the table, preparing for the hot plates coming out. Next, you are hanging out by the servers station, near the kitchen window, keep alert to your table's food hitting the window. While the clock is great decor, it also makes it very easy for a customer to watch seven minutes go by while my food is under the heat lamps, getting soft. Check back with your table with first or second bites, make sure your customer is happy. Doing these and more, always get 20+% tip! I waited tables 20 years ago, I know what's up, and how these servers work for tips!

Spending most of my life in the South,Texas and Colorado never had much experience from Bob Evans except for the sausage we bought but after moving to South Carolina have been to both Bob Evans Restaurants and have not been disappointed once! love the service atmosphere the speed great great place to grab breakfast one day will get in there for lunch and dinner

The service here was just awful. We got there at 9:30 and didn't get food until around 11 and we were there past noon. What a breakfast, right? I had eggs and french toast and my kids had pancakes. All of the food was ok. Most of it was cold. I'm not sure if they just forgot about us and that's why it took so long and why it was cold. I blame most of my poor experience on the service. I think if everything was running smoothly on the staff side this place wouldn't be bad at all.

I used to love this place but service has been getting worse and worse with time. I went today and waited 10 minutes to get my drink order, another 10 minutes just to get my drink, and never came back to get our order. After waiting over 30 minutes we just left and went to the new Silver Diner. Faster and a better service. Dont waste your time and money on Bob Evan's.

Bob Evans has so much comfort foods that are in huge servings! It's handicapped accessible with handicapped parking! Usually no waits to get a seat! Doesn't take long for foods to be served. Waiters are kind and check on you often. Tables and seats are clean and all in all clean facility. Nice family restaurant to go! Parking is available. They sell breads, desserts, and other items to take home! I'd recommend for others to give it a try!

I've noticed a steady decline in order accuracy and preparation. My last visit, 4 out of 5 meals were wrong compared to the menus description. The 5th was just a soggy mess of a sandwich with two tiny shreds of turkey. Extremely dissatisfied. I'll probably wait for a awhile before trying again.

Lets see the best thing i can say about this location is the weather was nice and the food was great. Now the server was terrible JENNA was her name never checked on us not one time after receiving our food well hold on rewind, we got our coffees when we sat down but no cutlery to stir our coffees i had to go and seek her after we asked for them. After that everything else was down hill from there if i was doing my dissertation i would get an A++ for word count. There was no eye contact i actually asked another server to get her attention because she never came back after we got our food she blatantly walked pass us i had to get her attention for something to drink. What makes matters worse the customers behind us i mean directly behind us she constantly checked on asked how everything was going if they Need boxes anything everything but mums the word When it came to us. Never have i ever been ignored by a server before at this magnitude. Now i didnt expect for her to be in our face every five minutes but Hell at least check up on us once without us having To come and get you. Jenna has totally ruined our bob evans experience. Seriously doubt we will patron Them again. Now i hate to make this a race issue but Was our lack of attention due to the color of skin since we were her only table that was not of caucasian decent . I'm just saying........0

My family loves BE, but not this one so much. The place was half fill and the wait for a seat was 7 minutes. Apparently it is better to wait in the lobby instead at a table because they were "short on servers". Food was adequate, service was okay, customer service was horrible. No sense of anyone but themselves...as if we were there for their entertainment. In addition to Bowie Maryland, find another Bob Evans other than Dover, Delaware.

By far the worst bob evans I have ever been to! When we got to the restaurant they told us 10 min, it took 35 to seat us. We gave our order 5 min after sitting down and over an hour later had yet to see our waitress again. The restaurant was not busy at all and it seemed like everyone was more interested in talking then they were working. Even the manager moved at a snails pace. At the hour and 40 min mark we had still not seen our waitress and the manager seemed disinterested in helping us. I explained to him that we were very upset at the time that it took and we were leaving. He shrugged his shoulders and said “I am sorry” and that’s it. We will NEVER go to this Bob Evans ever again. Stay away from here, don’t disappoint yourselves!

Our experience here was great! We visited on Veteran’s Day and I️ think service members received free food. It was jammed packed and they had a 30 minute wait. We waited anyways, their hostess Jefferey was amazing! He handled each guest with grace and apologized every time when others said the wait was too long. I have always had a great experience and I thought it was about time that I leave a review. I walked in this morning and mentioned how nice it would be to have a cup of coffee while I waited and an extremely cordial staff member; Kim, who happened to hear me and took the time without me asking to get a cup of coffee for me. I was shocked and extremely happy to see how people still care about others enough to do something so kind. It's people like this that are classy and deserve to be noticed for their efforts as they are the ones that make the difference for customer service based businesses. Went Saturday , July 6 2019. Service was fast and friendly. Server’s mom worked there. Mom took order to expedite service, then left because her shift ended. Daughter arrived at our table immediately afterward, earnestly apologized for not taking our order, ( there honestly wasn’t a need for apologies— her speed in providing service to us was stellar.) then proceeded to give us the water, tea and coffee we had requested a scant 2 minutes prior. The meal was properly prepared, hot and tasty. The continued service and quality checks by our server were appreciated; they were neither intrusive nor haphazard. Overall, my wife and I had a very enjoyable brunch experience, and we intend to return in the future.

I patronized Bob Evans for the first time June 9, 2019 (party of 4). The atmosphere was good, service prompt and the portions were good. I ordered the multi-grain pancakes with ham. When you go you will think, "half a potroast sandwich and a cup of soup is a good deal!" and you would be right but WAIT because you will taste it and know you were wrong to order a half sandwich. You will realize quickly that you should have ordered a whole sandwich because it is the best pot roast you have ever had in a restaurant....dare I suggest, the best in your life? So just forget the sandwich and order the complete pot roast dinner. And because you are making choices that are kind to yourself you will also order the peanut butter pie. You're welcome friend. If you live in Dover Delaware and you want to go out for breakfast there are very few options especially since the Denny's closed. Of the few selections that are left Bob Evans is your best bet for a decent meal at a fair price. It can get very crowded but they try to get you through as quick as they can.

Visited it on Mothers Day and wife was dissapointed slow serving food and when it arrived the sunshine skillet that's on a iron skillet was cold. I gave 4 stars upon learning that Bob Evan's stopped serving Italian and Raspberry Vinegrat salad dressing. They also changed the traditional coleslaw to another type last year which our family didn't enjoy. Sometimes change isn't good managers. Drinks and small steaks are expensive here but this restaurant doesn't price gouge as badly as most of the restaurants at the beach. Restaurant was icy cold and customers were complaining. Banana bread and real butter were very good but the bread was served cold and, of course, the butter could not melt. Chicken pot pie had burned crust lining the inside of the bowl. The chunks of meat were dry, hard, and hurt my teeth. The creamy soup in it tasted like that cheap soup that they put a lot of sodium in to make it keep a long time in the can. Waitress was very nice and attentive.

First off it's a little over pricey. My daughter got a steak and it was supposed to be medium well and it was rare. My son got pancakes and they were so hard on one side I had to tear them with my hands. All of this after we waited 30 minutes for our food. We were definitely not impressed. My family and I were visiting from South Carolina and we stayed at the hotel, Homewood Suites, which was across the street from this restaurant. We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in Baltimore but the staff at Bob Evans didn’t act as if they were thankful for our business. When we came in we were seated at the back of the restaurant in a corner, while other customers who came in after us were seated near the front. Although our waitress was friendly, she basically forgot about us after we had to wait so long to get our food. She never came back to check on us and when she did, she wanted to refresh my drink but I was already finished my meal by then. However she was very attentive to the other customers who came in much much later after us. Then as we proceeded to pay for our meal, she apologized for not giving us the best service right in front of the manager. If I never see another Bob Evans in my life, I will be satisfied.

I just realized how much I love Bob Evans I have eaten there s few times In the last 3 weeks this last time i got there specialty salad with the cranberries and pecans and the dressing that comes with it.. and let's not forget the banana but bread its always fresh so if you have never had banana nut bread you should try it from Bob Evans

Order the classic breakfast, came the hotcakes, asked for butter never got it, until I asked another waiter, food came before we got utensils, eggs to done and the chicken dinner that was order came with dinner rolls never got them, even though we reminded are waitress. The waitress was not attentive at all, never came back asked if we needed anything, drinks refilled , how was the food nothing, I however enjoy the food when I do go there, but just not today the waitress was more friendlier with other guest, than she was to me and my partner

The best waitress Stacy D. wasn't there today. My teenagers love the food here and we enjoy sitting in the rear next to the window. Food was delicious but the service was mediocre today. Even though the food was perfect, but the service wasn’t that great it ruined the experience. I feel like the waitress a little judgmental, so I gave her a judgmental tip. Stacy is the best.

How does this place stay in business? The food was horrible. All pieces of the breakfast were either overcooked or just straight up burnt. You could taste the grill was not cleaned and the shredded hash browns were burnt and raw at the same time. No flavor in any of the food except for the burnt dirty grill parts and lets not even speak about the toast. It wasnt burnt but it was hard as a rock almost like it was ten days old. Omg, never again. I have given Bob Evans several attempts in many differnet states and I received the same everytime. One good thing, they are consistantly horrible.
