Food was good. However I cannot provide a positive review... They are extremely neglectful to their koi and smaller fish. Both the tank and pond were so disgustingly dirty it looked like milky water and the fish couldn't see where they were going. The tanks and pond were also so over filled with fish that they had barely any room to move. Please stop abusing your animals! They may not be as intelligent or emotional as us but they can still be stressed... Struggle to breathe... Suffer..Etc. They still matter. If you take that little care of those fish... I don't feel much more confident in your cleanliness of the sushi you provide. You are called Bluefin... Maybe make sure the live things with fins in your resturaunt are a top priority?

Pretty good sushi place, tucked out of the way a great place to go with someone. Never very crowded the food is very good we had the Sushi Boat for two for $50 and it was more than enough. This place is a little hard to find as it is tucked in the back of the shopping center, and every time I Please click 'like' if you like my reviews... been here the experience has been good.

I will start by saying the only reason I am not giving this restaurant 5-star is not bc of the food. We love the original and old owner who was from NY and moved back there- he use to make us very unique dishes for on the house(we always gave generous tips to show our appreciation) knowing my husband appreciated unique dishes not on the menu. We still go to this restaurant once a week (we use to go 2-3 times a week bf) and typically order the lightly torched salmon belly(melts in your mouth but $5 a pc) which is the best I have tasted yet and also unique dishes such as lobster sashimi(they make an amazing soup with the remaining lobster) and my kids like the specialty rolls. The meal is never inexpensive but good sushi never is.

This is a cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I ordered the General Tsau's Chicken dish as I'm not a fan of seafood and it was delicious. My husband ordered a few different sushi dishes and really enjoyed each one.

I've eaten here twice now and both times the food has been delicious. My only complaint was they made my Philly Rolls without cream cheese. I personally enjoy the atmosphere and low lighting. Smaller restaurant and it's generally quiet.

Great food and service! Today was my second time ordering lunch (online!) from Bluefin and both times were a success. I work close by and by the time I use the restroom and drive my car over, the food has been ready shortly after I set foot in the door. The staff is friendly and I'm excited to go for dinner there sometime soon. My first time, I ordered a bento style lunch box and I couldn't eat it all even though everything was portioned nicely. Low sodium, too! Today, I got the 3 roll combo - eel and avocado, salmon, and philadelphia roll. All were really well made. Rice is soft with a hint of vinegar (per real sushi rice), the raw fish has excellent flavor, avocado is super fresh, and the eel was perfect. Each bite makes me smile. I've spent time living in Japan so I'm rather picky about my sushi. Well done, Bluefin!

The worst service ever encountered. My mom entered the restaurant with my four kids and was treated like trash. 3 tables came behind her and were given the opportunity to order eat and pay at which time she finally received her order. We will never go back.

Was in area for another reason but was lured in by the sweet temptation of raw fish. Bluefin sushi delivered the goods. I had the tri color sushi and a specialty roll i use to gauge all sushi places...a spider roll. Tri color sushi was fresh and tasty albeit the pieces of fish were not as large as my local favorite spot, but that was okay, there was plenty of food. The tri color sushi was accompanied by their signature blie fun roll which was like nothing i had before with a crusted exterior and a mustard based sauce. I liked it but might not be for the purist. Finally the spider roll really impressed, there was a decent amount of crab exploding out either end of the roll and it was super fresh and not fishy or soggy. Right now i am stuffed and having old fashion next door at the italian place...maybe i review this place next. Salut!

I absolutely love Bluefin in Glen Mills! They have some of the best prepared sushi in the Concord/North Wilmington Area. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. This restaurant is a favorite at my office as our time away from the office is limited. I have eaten at almost every sushi restaurant in the area and this is by far one of the best, if not THE best. My only complaint is the fountain/pond in the entrance smells bad. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Hibachi steak looked and tasted like it was steamed then sat on the sauce. Was bland I barely touched it asked if I liked it I said no, I'm not eating this and response I got nothing. Won't be going back.

Excellent Sushi! Very talented Sushi Chefs, true artists! The last time I went, my wife and I sat at the sushi bar, and I told the Chef to make me whatever he wanted. It turned out to be one of the most spectacular dining experiences for us! I highly recommend Blue Fin.

Friendly wait staff and good food. My fiancee and I live in Philly but go to Longwood Gardens several times a year. We make a point to stop here on way for lunch or dinner. Its always good and never has been crowded. Truly a hidden gem but this secret deserves to be shared

I have been to Bluefin numerous times and have always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the sushi is as fresh as it gets. There is always some special roll offering that is original and many entree options to chose from, if you're not in the mood for sushi. It is a BYOB and I highly suggest giving their sushi a try, you will be glad you did!

This place is horrible, teriyaki chicken was warm on top of cold vegetables. Service was horrible. This place is a hyped up Chinese spot located in a strip mall but it suppose to a Japanese restaurant.

First let me start of by saying that my wife and I used to love this place. We would eat there (take out) at least every other week or so. Unfortunately they have recently made some changes which have caused us to start looking elsewhere for another favorite sushi place. Some of the changes that we have noticed are : 1) Just about every dish on the menu is now 5-20% higher in price. 2) The curry soup is half the size that it used to be ... and is now quite bland... my wife and i loved this and used to share an order. Now it is barely enough for one person. 3) They no longer honor the coupons that they previously issued (with no expiration date). 4)They changed the recipe for my favorite dish (the "crazy tuna" roll) which i unknowingly ordered two of. This dish used to be made with crushed black pepper and was (in my opinion) just the right amount of spice. It was a very unique twist on the common spicy tuna roll that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately now it is very spicy and has an odd roasted flavor... and its no longer made with crushed black pepper. While the flavor was interesting, I wasnt able to finish it as it made my stomach ache after only a few pieces. Now we do understand that sometimes businesses need to adjust their pricing and products... Unfortunately in this case these changes have taken away too much for us to continue eating here. The pricing adjustments alone increased our order cost by 30% on our last order. The staff is very friendly and the food is still good (aside from the bland curry soup and the change to the crazy tuna roll recipe - again only my opinion) so maybe this is still a good option for some.... time will tell.

Quick service, nothing overwhelming in terms of flavour , fish could be fresher. miso tasted stale. The sauce for the soft shell crab was full and diluted. Also place doesn't serve alcohol. The rolls were okay ( too creamy) the tuna jalapeno was nice as was the rock shrimp

If you're looking for Asian fusion this place is worth your try. Stopped here twice this week and the food is quite tasty. Customer service is excellent they're very attentive to your needs. Nice atmosphere with fish tanks and all.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants. The sushi is great and have never had a bad meal. There were 7 of us there and they easily accommodated us. Everyone loved their dish. The place is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere and I personally love the level of lighting though some complained it is a little too dark. Never crowded but it can get a little busy. Service is awesome .. very friendly and attentive. High recommend it!

I ordered takeout. You would think based upon the dine-in reviews that it would be the same. Unfortunately there's a huge difference. The rice is supposed to be cooked to perfection but it was not. That is supposed to be the main ingredient besides the fish. I will never go there again!

This is the best Sushi restaurant in the area, Southetn Chester Cty, West Chester to Wilmington. Wife and I come often. Great staff. Awesome food. Never disappointed. Owner also has succesful restaurant in NYC. You need to try this place. Not sure why so few reviewers on GMaps. See Yelp. Much more romantic atmosphere than Masamoto.
