REVIEWS OF Biryani City IN Delaware

Rayala sai Krishna

We had dinner here a couple of times. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service as I experienced. An Indian girl cashier in the evening is very friendly with customers I like her. Will be back definitely! Highly recommended Place.

Ramachandran B

Food is really fresh here! Their weekend thali is the best in the area.

Donald Thampy

Great place, great food. Above all great people. Do visit and enjoy the food!

amrita ghosh

I simply love the Biryani they make at this place. No extra oil, just the right amount of spice,no superficial coloring, perfect rice grain. It is so authentic and delicious that it can beat most renowned Indian restaurants even in New Jersey. I cannot speak for other items on the menu-but hands down the best biryani in a radius of 100 miles :)

Radha Srinivasan

The food was excellent. The restaurant was a simple small place. The staff was helpful. The biryani were good

Average food and ambiance

The "Worst" Indian Restaurant In Delaware. I ordered a Vegetable Biryani, it has 99% rice and just 1% vegetables (Frozen green peas and Carrots only) and I strongly believe the Biryani was cooked 2 days back as the rice has bad odor. I wouldn't call it Biryani, I would call it as plain yellow rice. Typical desi restaurant by a group of Telugu guys who wants to make more money by providing cheap quality food. Attached is the picture of Vegetable Biryani, I was literally searching for Vegetables! Will complain to FDA.

Pradeep reddy

Biryani city has the best Indian food in town! Their Non-vegetarian options are superb. Most professional customer service. Because of food and customer service love dining here, flawless food. I love this place! I've ordered carryout and dine in as well, and I've never had a bad experience. I don't even know where to start but my favorites are the Goat biryani and chicken dinners.

Pooja Tavag

Today we waited for 1 hr , I think they dint enter our order , after long wait when we asked them then they checked n again they took fresh order n told us to wait 15 more mins , then we came out ... it was very bad , they were not managing properly, those who came late they were getting food early... since it’s long weekend, Place was very crowded.

Maan-saa k

Worst biryani and worst service. When we asked for egg biryani lady replied saying that they prepare it from scratch for every order but it ended up with regular veg biryani which doesnot even taste like biryani. We waited in the restaurant for 40 min for the order to come in. I would rate less than one rating

prathik bachaboidi

We ordered food for a party. We clearly mentioned the spice levels medium spice but they made it more spicy. Taste was good. But spice levels are crazy....

Mark Robertson

Good Indian food. Reasonable prices.

Ankur

Serving non-veg to a vegetarian order. I ordered the vegetarian curry on Jun 20th and clearly explained about the order on phone twice. After picking the order I found a non-veg item in my plate. And when I complaint and returned the order nobody so far bother to explain about the mistake.

Siva Karthikeyan

Tastes so nice, but too slow in service. Could add little more varieties on special occasions at least.

Bhadresh Patel

They have great lunch specials

Romina Nayak

Chilly Chicken, chicken 65 and special boneless chicken biryani are awesome!

Melissa Huizinga

Absolutely delicious dinner. I had the butter chicken and was quite impressed. The portions were very generous.

george anju

The place is most famous for it's biryani. In my opinion it's nice but not the best. We have had better. Also, during our two visits, they refused to serve Dosa. And that is all our toddler eats from any Indian restaurant. And when asked for the reason for it, the said they didn't serve dosa on some particular days of the week. But there is no mention of that on their website. I wish they would update this information on their website and save patrons like us who travel a very long distance with expectations to have authentic Indian food, a lot of trouble.

Farooq Broberg

Their famous biryani was safron rice with chicken 65 thrown in it. Besides we ordered biryani with bone and this is what we get after waiting excruciatingly long.

Neelam Murthy

Worst veg manchuria, cut mirchi are half cooked don’t know that’s some new style and Chicken Biryani mixed different Biryanis and lots of oil and smelly . I ordered them through Doordash, don’t they will give food like this for deliveries

mohan s

We ordered chicken Biryani with veg starter. We are getting bad smell the Biryani and over burn the veg starter. Usually it's good taste but this time worst and worst than ever. I don't expect this from Biryani city.

Hemanth Vajje

Fish biriyani ! Tastes so yum , pairs my drives !! I didn't get a chance to try but my local friends mentioned Double ka meeta is also a house favourite.

Meshraj Khatiwada

Not bad for a quick lunch in budget. Food could be better and more consistent.

Billie Jones

The wait was a little long but, the Food was Amazing! Totally worth it.

Hammad MEHMOOD

Food taste good but customer service is sucks.

GG

waited more than 45 mins to get the table and we ordered chicken Biryani along with some appetizer, expected to get it quick but we received it after 30 mins and we are getting bad smell in chicken. so we left the restaurant without eating anything. worst and worst service. I don't expect this from Biryani city.

Jennifer Jordan

Food was good but not amazing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was pleasant.

Charan Teja

Loved the taste of mutton biryani. Spice and masala are exactly what they have to be in a Biryani. South Indian’s will love the taste and flavour.

Robert Gambino

I had possibly the worst delivery experience I've ever had with this restaurant. After my delivery order showed up 30 minutes late, half of it was missing, including rice, which meant that none of it was edible. The restaurant then both accused me of lying, even though the delivery driver confirmed the food was missing, and refused to refund me for the order. Don't eat here.

Raj Rj

Good food special was parotta and payya and tea Friendly staff

Baalakumar Jagaddesan

1. Food is better than average. Highly overrated. Price high 2. Poor ambience- flies , smells meat and foul 3. Service terrible - unhygienic waiter manners. 4. Better places in philly

Saifuddin Ahmed

The food is really good but the waitress was not friendly. Went there twice. She didn't even care to say hi!! Bad customer service!!

pavan kumar Kura

Platter used to be the best. Weekend is the only time to visit with family for lunch and now they dont have platter on weekend.

Marc Guthrie

If you like Indian food and haven't eaten here yet - shame on you. If you've never eaten Indian food before - a word of warning. Every other restaurant may seem subpar if you start here, but this will open you up to flavors and spice you've never experienced before. Every dish is spot on and better than the next. Five stars aren't enough!

Kumar J

Love their biryanis best in US, they have small menu of items but never dissapointed with their taste and quality.

sirish konda

I have ordered vegetable biryani, the quality of biryani is poor, it’s better to call as pulav with frozen veggies.

Kylie Shepard

My favorite place ! The prices are great and the food is amazing

kotha jayanth

We ordered veg biryani it looks and taste worst, more like vegetable frozen pulao. I wonder if they really know the meaning of vegetable biryani? The two ladies are rude and they replied as if they prepare it for every single order when asked for sample for taste. Everyone knows the fact that biryani won’t be prepared for every single person. They should be honest towards customers.

bobba saikrishna

It was a place where we can have a quality and quantity high, and the food is so delicious and it is quick and the customer service is also good.

Paula Bryant

Food is amazing!!!! Great choices and flavor!!##

Schaeffer Stark

Some of the best Indian food in DE. It’s a little pricey but the food is fantastic and the portions are decent. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is pretty friendly and very quick with service.

Mark Mason

Delicious lunchtime platters with great quick service! Just the right amount of spice and awesome flavors

Dorothy Shyam

Very tasty food especially Mutton sukka

Vikas Sikka

Awesome lunch platter

james mc

Have been here with family and friends, cool little place to hang out. Me and my kids are fan of paneer tikka masala and veg korma. Friends ordered ghost pepper fry and cut mirchi they were bit dry and mixture of spices, tastes was pretty good though. Out off all branches this one is best in class. A must visit place if you are looking for customer friendly and wide variety of dishes.

The Jax

I am very picky when it comes to Butter Chicken. I will say after trying ALL the places, and I do mean all, you will get the best tasting Butter Chicken in Northern Delaware from this place. If you order the Butter Chicken, you need to order it with the Kerala Parotta bread. One of the only places like this locally that have this bread and do it right. My only issue with them is that their portion size seems small for the price for both the Butter Chicken, rice that comes with it, and the Kerala Parotta. I am not a size 2 woman. I am a medium built man. Their portion size usually doesn't fill me up. I order from them via one of the delivery apps and I will usually either order two OR also order food from a second place because their portion is not enough. But... great food. Not the best Butter Chicken I have ever had but best in the area in my opinion. And I am not from Delaware originally and my father was a chef so take that into consideration. Seems most people from here don't know what actually tastes good.

Joe Giubardo

Very friendly, great service. Both entrees were wonderful! The butter chicken and califlower potato curry, yummy. We went for the samosas and they are a different recipe then we had before, not as good. Would definitely go back.

Kaku Global

Enjoyed eating their Paneer 65.. just yum!

Mark Paul

I've eaten here for the past couple of years and have absolutely loved the food. I still do. Today, I ordered a lunch platter which comes with Biryani (which is very tasty!) but I was very dissatisfied that they don't offer a small portion of raita like they used to. How do you serve any biryani without a small portion of raita?? I'm sure when you eat biryani, you look forward to eating it with raita as an accompaniment, which is very traditional in Indian cuisine, and culture. Today, I was asked to pay extra for a very small portion of raita which i found completely unacceptable! How much raita does one need for biryani anyway? I'm sure it isn't a significant cost to provide a few spoons of raita in a little bowl - VERY disappointing. I sadly won't be returning to your restaurant due to today's disappointed experience. I wanted to place a large catering order of Biryani for a personal event, but this experience today will have me looking elsewhere. My sincere advice to the management : Please don't compromise on small accompaniments like raita. You'd only lose customers who really enjoy your food and recommend it to their friends and family.

Vamsi Vamsi

Excellent south indian food

ameer basha

One of the best place in Delaware for Indian foods

madhu ravi

Tried chicken 65 last week. They served it in dark color. When asked for its change in color and taste they said that they have changed the recipe. What is the need for changing the recipe. Prices are exorbitant.

sanku mudi

Food was really bad. Would not recommend anyone

Plaban Prajnanidhi

Brand Biryani City (BC) is very popular among the customers for its great food and its amazing service. BC Delaware serves good food but its not even close to what BC Norristown PA serves. For first timers Delaware branch is good but for regular customers its not worth.

Hayden Lloyd

None of the food was good. Very expensive for small portions. The only meat in my goat korma was 3 cubes of chicken. Meal was curddled/spoiled

Ratul Chakravarty

Specially liked their lunch platters, very good quality & quantity.

Lindsay Gist

I order food for pick up the chicken curry, butter nan, and samosas and it was amazing. Now I'm hooked!

B V

Biriyani was tasty

gurnam singh

Service very bad, food is good

Pranay Sheela

Awesome

Sadia Ali

The service was horrible. The two girls who work there completely ignored us and busy flirting with the male customers. When they did speak to us, they were very rude and unfriendly. They give Indians a bad reputation. The chicken biryani was good. In short: food was good, service needs some work.

Zainab Alghamdi

I wish I can give this place zero stars. Though the food was good, the service was beyond horrible. I had to get up many times to remind them that we still didn't get our biryani. We ended up asking them to pack it to go after waiting for a long time. Nobody even bothered to apologize. Just bad! Will never come back here again.

Sanjay Gupta

Being a fan of biryani, I always crave for good biryani. Despite NJ having a reputation of Indian capital of USA, I did not find decent biryani (exception - biryani pot, jersey city is close to good). I worked in PA for good 6 months and then I found out great restaurant Biryani city near to my place (Norristown one). So when I was here in Delaware and found that it belongs to the same chain, could not resist and drag my friends here. They curse me now for this biryani obsession and now anytime they can abandon me for this. It was 2:30 PM and most of the restaurants give you deserted look but nope, not here. It was full and waiting time was good 30 minutes. I was here only for good mutton biryani (and my friends were here for me. Poor they), So I ordered 2 mutton biryani, 1 chicken biryani, and chicken chili beforehand so that I get my food as soon I get my table. But nope, I got the table but not food. Still, we waited 20 minutes after getting the table. Nevertheless, food came, I have asked for spicy mutton biryani, and god was it spicy? Hell yes… My wife could not eat even 1 spoon, well good for me, now I can eat whole biryani myself. :P Mutton biryani – I loved it. Pieces were little hard and it could be more soft and juicy but still, I was eating good biryani after ages so who cares. Chicken biryani was also good and so was appetizer chicken chili. The portion was a bit less though. Normally one plate is enough for me, but not here. We had mango lassi and it was also good, unlike another restaurant where they serve some mixed juice in name of mango lassi. Overall food was great, but as usual, like 90% Indian (Telugu folks) restaurant, it was too running by some family/friends and understaffed. In short, service was a bit late, for water, I waited 10 minutes. The ambiance was okay, I was here for biryani, not for ambiance. :P 4/5 star. 1 is for service I guess

maurice Gigetts

This was some great food and in invorment well be back soon

pranay chapyala

I have never seen such place in my life. I ordered 3 dishes which has more salt and oil and when i asked the waiter can we replace with new dish because of extra salt. The waiter reply was so horrible saying that this is long weekend where food will be like this and we will not replace with any new dish and the waiter also knows that it was too salt and oil. If the management don’t know how to take care of the customers then they should stop doing the business especially with food. If i have a chance to put “0” star then i would have given that. So horrible taste and the staff. Thanks Pranay

sumanth kumar

One of the best biriyani i ever had.. cheers

I Arpit

Seriously disappointed with the service. Called initially and confirmed that they take order till 9:40 pm. Drove for 1 hour and when we were here by 9:30 the staff refused to take the order and was lying that he told only for 9:30pm. They dont have customer friendly staff. He didn’t even addressed us with concern and simply refused to take the order. As it was already 10 we were unable to go anywhere. We are going to bed with empty stomach.Think thrice before visiting this restaurant. Suggestion to the business: if you guys close at 9:30 pm please do not specify the timings till 10pm.

Rangaprasad Kvs

It's nice place for South Indian Biryani

Ravi Jonnalagadda

A good place to get delicious Biryani. Service is very laid back but if you set that in your expectation you will be pleasantly surprised with your experience. Neat and calm interiors and nothing stands out in terms of the decor but once the food arrives the decor turns irrelevant. Menu has a few funny notes. Make sure to read them as you scan over your next meal choice. If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit.

ibrahim syed

The food is awesome!!! The service sucks...........

Best Indian food I've had

Anirban Banerjee

We made a plan to trek all the way from Bethesda for a day trip to Bombay Hook and a dinner at Biryani City. Just for the aficionados, this is a Hyderabadi biryani place. So do not go there expecting one of the many different North Indian versions. However, if you keep that in mind, their biryani was very very good. Their spice level is consistent with Indian spice levels which means that even the mild can be decidedly spicy. So if you have a mild palate, specifically ask for a very mild variety. My son loved their Chicken Makhani as well. However, what blew me away was something that did not have anything to do with the food. They mentioned that if we paid in cash, we would get a discount and in spite of scrambling all our pockets and wallets, we managed about 90% of the bill. So we asked them to take 90% of the bill in cash, give us the discount on that and wanted to pay the rest 10% (and by assumption, the tips) with credit card. After handing over the cash and credit card, the waitress came back and said that what we paid in cash was enough and we did not need to pay anything with credit card. The reason was simple - after discount what we paid in cash was enough for the bill. This meant they were giving away their tips. We insisted but they politely refused. My 9 year old son was carrying some cash in his pocket that he had saved and he offered that as a tip which they accepted. The reason for narrating this long incident is that a lot of Indian restaurants (Woodlands in VA as a prime example of this) are particularly ill-behaved toward their Indian clientele. Some stand out but we have never received such gracious service anywhere in the USA. I told them that we would be back tomake up for what we could not taste from the menu and pay for their services. Keep it up, Biryani City . You folks absolutely rock !!

Harishwar Anumula

Biryani City is one of the best restaurant I have been to, the staff is so friendly and lovable. Coming to the food the appetizers taste was awesome it went well till desserts. It’s worth being there

Apoorv Hegde

Ordered vegetable biryani and Gobi Manchurian. Both were a treat for the taste buds. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Asif Chowdhury

The food is delicious and the double ka meetha dessert was amazing. When they ask you for the spice level, make sure to get mild because their medium level is equivalent to extra spicy in most restaurant. Also if you do take out, beware that you get less food compared to dining in for the same price.

Devam Shah

Amazing food and service. Beyond expectations.

Sreedhar Yalamanchili

Very good food. Lunch platters are excellent and quantity is huge. Less expensive than buffet.

Snehal Alluri

They serve the best biryani in Delaware. Always maintains the quality. This attestation is after trying several restaurants across east coast and India to find a good biryani spot.

Vizz Sihn

As of my review this place has 4star rating. I wonder what is keeping it from 5star given what it stands for. The food was awesome, worth every penny I spent there. I ordered online and food was ready by the pick up time given to me. But that is not the best part. The food was so tasty, I was looking for such taste in food for past few months in a restaurant near by. This is the only restaurant at-least within 100miles radius that serves such tasty Indian food.

asl nirupama

Best for appetizers and weekdays platters... Love the food here always.

anudeep buddha

Taste of Biryani is too good, nice hotel to try if you are in Delaware.

Prabhakaran KM

Good quality food. Nice place. Truly Indian.

Swapnil Tivlekar

Third class food if ordering from grubhub. Dont use it. I even doubt it came from Biryani City. Either go and eat in restaurant or pick up yourself.

Syed Ibrahim

They have the best authentic Indian food. Love their goat biryani.

Sirisha Meedrametla

The food is very yummy and makes your tummy feel yummy

Charnsmorn Hwang

Off the beaten path but GREAT food. Even though in your standard strip mall, food is surprisingly tasty. Constant flow of customers tells me business (and all their food) is good! Naan, korma curry, and saag curry were wonderful.

pine apple

The surrounding is good and serving people are in friendly manner. The food is tasty and it matched to our country dishes. And the prices are reasonble. Thank you P.sony

ranjeeth kumar

Food arrived late but quality is very good.

Kushagra Sinha

Very tasty food and good service. Too bad that they do not have a franchise in upstate NY. Loved the mutton biryani.

Tamara S.

The food is good. However, it can take a long time. I called in an order, was quoted 20-30 minutes, came in at 35 minutes and still had to wait. Worth the wait, but don't go if you're in a rush

Ram Putta

Nice place for Birayani’s. Taste is good

Prime Sack

This is the worst place to eat food.. food inspectors should ride this place..their license should be cancelled...we ordered a couple of chicken biryanis along with garlic naans and aloo Gobi curry and double ka meetha for dessert...the food is soo stale smelly and disgusting. This is the worst food that I have eaten in my entire life..the food is at least a few days old.. these guys are cheaters.. the food smells rotten and stale.. they are cheating people..they should be just cooking once or twice a week and microwaving the food before serving... this is the worst and smelly biryani that I have had in my Life... will never visit this place again.. whenever you order food here please let the food cool down and smell it... you will get the real taste and smell of the food..

Balachandar Thangavel

Briyani was so good.... We ordered for a party and we enjoyed the taste ....

Unnikrishnan Ramachandran

Great Biriyani.Customer care needs to keep up with standards of biriyani they serve.

Russ335i

Fish Apollo I can’t explain to you thee abundance of flavor in this dish the best I have had. Overall the experience is wonderful with kind and friendly family oriented staff. As well as amazing genuine dishes.

Orlando Duran

That's my place to go.. I have tried all restaurants in new Castle county and this one is by far the best

BK from the Rockies

Really great tasting Indian food! I had saag with chicken over rice with samosas and naan; all of it was great. The location was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The staff was very polite, as well. I highly recommend folks to check this place out. BK

Mizz Understood

I would never go to this establishment again. The service was terrible and nearly existent. I went there in a group of four people and there were no other customers in the restaurant yet those who came over 15 minutes after us received their entrees before we even got our appetizers. It took 30-40 minutes to receive our food and no server or anyone checked in to explain or see how we liked the food when we did finally get it. We had to flag people down for water and napkins. Plates were put on our table without a single word and there was a 10 minute gap between when the first person at my table got their food and the last person. While we were sitting and wondering where our food was, over five other tables (one being a large party) was already enjoying their meals. We could not help but to notice that all of the other tables were Indian people whereas we were African-American. This fact makes it even more disgusting that we were served this poorly. I really hope that it was not an act of prejudice but the lack of care and disregard for only us makes it seem so. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Andrea Nottingham

This is authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes were delightful. A great highlight is the chef's Naan.... Love it! Definitely visit and sit down and enjoy the ambiance. My only issue is that I asked for ice for my drink and was told they didn't have any.

P C

Looooove the food here. If you’re a vegetarian and you want to eat food that tastes like non veg. This is the best place to go. It’s soooo yummy

Avinash Chouhan

I go to this restaurant once every week and can guarantee that this is the best restaurant. I eat outside food a lot especially from indian restaurants, this restaurant has the best Chicken Biryani and Chicken tikka masala I have tasted.

Ann Marie Savini

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I really enjoyed my meal.

marianne dodds

Got a pedicure, the lady was too rough, was petrified she was going to cut me, I was not relaxed at any point. Then she scrubbed my legs so hard she scratched my legs up. I did not complain, giving the girl might had received bad news or a had a bad day.

Sanjana Ash

—POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE— We had high expectations on Biriyani City in Delaware because of our experience in Norristown branch however we were disappointed with the poor customer service. Kitchen is closed half an hour before the restaurant close time. Food is average. Will never go again so will my friends.

Yogendra Bhardwaj

Nice place for Birayani’s. Very tasty food, small place but ambiance is good. Panner Manchurian deserve 100 marks, I visited this place with my Mexican friend and he is fan of Panner Manchurian and garlic non as they made fresh non. Very limited options for Indian fried bread / paratha. Only thing I don’t like there Service time, it’s little slow.

Girish Mehta

Amazing Biryani...came here with my friends suggestion who is from hyderabad and he says it is the closest it could get to the traditional hyderabadi biryani. Totally worth it do not forget to try out the kerala parota

James Vijay

Truly a whole city can eat, there's such a lot of Biriyani on your plate with some rotis and kebabs, sweets and other stuffs. Great deal and good ambience. Loved the taste.

Steve Paul

Good place for Indians

Bandi Vyshnavi

Food is good. I like the goat biryani.

Vamshi Gudipudi

This is the best place in Delaware to get biryani. Food is good and the restaurant is neat. They offer lunch platters during weekdays which are economical and a good way to try a complete Indian meal .. I personally like the Goat Platter. Food gets delayed sometimes due to crowd but happy to wait for a yummy biryani.

S.J. Andersen

Best Indian food in this area

Saugat Roy

Chicken Biryani was really good, missing egg this time though

kavya chowdary

Wonderful ambience Best place to have Indian dishes. Service is extremely good. Food- 5/5 Ambience- 5/5 Services-5/4

Ravi Khandelwal

I had a lot of expectations from this place because I saw the ratings before I visited this resturant. The food is good in taste but that's all. The ambience is not that great and I will give 4 out of 10 for cleanliness. There were house flies moving all over out food. It was a hot day but still they didn't care to turn on the air conditioning. Probably saving on electricity. Overall, I won't recommend this restaurant if you looking to spend a quality time while having food. But if are not having any other option and want it eat good regardless of any other factor taken into consideration, then this place fits your needs.

VISWAPRASAD VATTIKUTI

Nice food and value for money

Sneha Sri

I am a huge briyani fan....but I do not like the briyani meat and this place is just perfect as they offer chicken 65 briyani that tastes soooooo good....once we tried their gobi manchurian as well and it was very tasty!!!

Sabine K.

We ordered with door dash, delivery was fast. We had 2 dishes, with goat. For the price, they were very stingy with the rice. One of the dishes also had bones, which had little splinters everywhere...

Gary Becker

If you live near by Delaware or passing by Delaware this place is a must visit for a-la-carte. We generally go in groups over the weekends or team lunch in the after noon times. They do serve both pure veg and Non veg options, Comes with an appetizer, a gravy, choice of a Biryani, a Naan and a dessert Vegetarian and Egg platters feature vegetarian appetizers and gravy. Chicken, Goat Fish and Shrimp platters feature meaty appetizers and gravy. Not aware about regular days, but every time we are at the place on weekends it used to be bit crowded, but it would not take more than 10 mins to get seated thanks for quick customer response. As I became a regular customer, couple of times I was even offered a free desert too :-D.

jill cook

The offer an amazing lunch special. The service was professional and polite and they were quick to anticipate what I needed. Delicious food!

rahul parelkar

Good buffets

Louis Smith

How this place has four stars blows my mind. The place was dead and the cook refuses to be accommodating for any food allergies what so ever. The staff were extremely rude. What I was able to order came out looking and tasting like baby food and shortly after made me sick

Venkata Kishore Bondada

We bought Chicken biriyani, fish and Veg biriyani. The taste is ok. But can improve on the taste. Ambience is fine. Compared to other Indian restaurants around , Biriyani City is definitely better choice.

Abhinav Anand

Nice chicken biriyani

Avyank Kuncha

Great food great place

samarpitha br

Best ever food to expect in Delaware . Great and consistent taste ....... Love all kind of food

Austin Kuba

My favorite place. I love their biryani, and everything else I've gotten. 0 bad experiences yet.

Carol Paredes

We have eaten here several times and it remains our favorite restaurant in Delaware for Indian food. The food is always delicious. I order mild, my husband likes spicy. From start to finish, the appetizers, the main course, and the desserts are always fantastic. The staff is polite and helpful. It is a small place, so be sure to arrive early or you will have to wait for a table, but the wait is never long. It is very cozy, comfortable and clean.

Thiyagu BTR

Eat at your own risk. Yes, you read it right. Their food might be tasty, but sometimes I ended up getting spoiled food. One time a fish appollo appetizer and the second time, a chicken biriyani. I ignored the first time, but I reported the second incident, called the restaurant and asked to talk to the owner or the manager, the receptionist said the owner will get back to me and no one called me so far. I think there are no managers or owners present to manage that place, every time some random college students works in the front and they are totally clueless. I hope the owners pay attention to the food safety. I will not return to this place until I see some real changes with food safety.
