Beautiful beach with life guards. Still allows canopy style tents as of this posting. Be reasonable and don't set up camp on the beach and it will probably stay that way.

Great drinks. You gotta try a bucket. The view is awesome. Right on the beach so you can grab a drink and some food after the beach or during. I was soaken wet from swimming and they don't mind because the place is set up for just that. Weather your dry or wet they have a seat for you. Great apoitizers. I got the nachos and dip. Could not ask for better. Salsa, guac, cheese etc. Great service!

Visited again today. Conch fritters again, along with fish and chips. Wife had orange crush, I had the painkilla. Everything delish and a beautiful beach day. Having a staycation next week and we'll probably be back. Can't beat the view. Sat at the South bar. Margaritas and Orange Crushes top notch. I had the conch fritters, wife had the burrito bowl. Both very good. I think the conch fritters were better than I had in St. Pete Beach last week. Very good lunch.

Nice for a day trip to the beach. There is a bath house with restrooms and showers. Parking is $5 for Delaware residents and $10 for out of state.

If you're thinking about coming here for anything else (the view, decorations, etc.) don't even. All I must say, is THE BURGERS. They are AMAZING! I got the Beach Burger, which at a quick glance would seem to be your average burger you'd get anywhere, which is completely wrong. From everything from the taste to the texture, it is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. (It was actually so good I ordered another one after I was done with the first.) Also our waitress's name was Kaitlynn, and she was very nice. Our food also came out quickly, but that doesn't matter because I'd wait even 2 hours for a burger this good.

We were here last year, parked for free. This May, at 4:45 pm we were told it's $10 to park (out of state), nope. Turned around. No one is using the beach at 5 pm.

This is my favorite beach on the Delaware shore. There is a fee for access ($5 in state, $10 if you are not a Delaware resident) which turns some people off but I will gladly pay considering it goes to Delaware parks! The "Big Chill Cantina" is a little pricey for what you're getting but the food is surprisingly good for a state park food stand! There are showers on site which help minimize the sand left in the car significantly

Amazing Camping Location, Town and Beach Access. And now, as of this year, there is a tiki bar on the premises over looking the dunes and beach, BIG CHILL BEACH CLUB. It is truly fabulous! This new addition really captures the beachy good vibes all around on the State Park Campground. Not to compare to the Jersey beaches I grew up going to, but Delaware has definitely got it going on because of all of the mentioned perks! Plenty of local shops nearby also within a short driving distance.

Location is right on beach with beautiful oceanviews. Bathrooms, showers and changing rooms available and clean. Fun play areas for families. Food and librations are good and service is excellent.

This is the first time we've been to the Big Chill. My daughter had a beef burger and my wife and I had the Mahi fish sandwich. The fish was delicious and the view of the ocean from the deck was beautiful.

Great beach! We try to go at least 10 times every summer with the kids. It's great for all ages too! Whenever we go there's usually a few different groups of people that let others join in their football game, catch, badminton, Etc... Also, lots of kids, so if you don't like kids, I guess don't go. Lol but we've never had a problem with anything or anyone here. So it's a personal favorite spot of ours!

It has everything you would want at the beach!! Waves, restaurant, and shower/bath house. They also have a little shop just incase you left some items at home. I love this place. Been coming here since I was a kid 20 years ago.

Good place to go to the beach, there is a restaurant/bar and they do have showers. It does cost money to get in because it's a state park and it can be very crowded so parking can be a pain.
