Holy moly. We've been looking for a great place in the city to get nachos and we've certainly found it. I don't even have pictures of them because we ate them so ding fast! Knocks out Kid Sheleens and Timothy's on the riverfront for SURE. It's definitely a hole in the wall since it's literally just a thin rectangle of a space, but on a Monday night, we had plenty of room. I was a tad disappointed that they didn't have frozen margaritas and their beer list was unimpressive... But we'll definitely be back for those chicken topped nachos!!

Love their margaritas, seems like a good place to hang out on the weekend and wind down from the busy work week. Also the nachos were on point, but nachos are always the perfect latenight bar food.

Large margaritas here are indeed quite large! Food was a little bland for my taste and somewhat expensive for the amount of food provided. Have to order corn chips and salsa separately. I get that it's a bar, but I feel like most similarly priced places give you some free chips when they know you're having a meal.

A hidden treasure in Trolley Square, Anejo is a great place to go for strong drinks and appropriately priced Mexican food. The chicken tacos on the Happy Hour menu are delish and the bar staff is always helpful.

Every staff member I've encountered here has been at least amazing. I come here a couple times a week on average and it's by far my favorite bar in Delaware. You can't beat the happy hour specials and the food is always quick and delicious. And they even have two Lauren's that work there

Food was average, the service was bad. The bartender brought the menu and asked what we wanted to drink, but did not greet us. The waitress smiled not once, she looked pretty pissed. Definitely not a place for eating, perhaps drinks are better. If you are serving food, please train your staff better.

So got there too late for food but the bartender hooked us up with queso . Huge selection of margarita flavors - we had jalapeño strawberry & cucumber melon - fun atmosphere would come back!

Overall the food at Anejo Mexican grill seemed basic and not satisfying and it did not taste fresh. Portions were small, presentation was very basic, and I could not recommend the food or the service. This is unfortunate as it is a good location which could be optimal with proper management, proper service, and a greatly improved menu along with food and beverage quality to include a strong need for filtered water (their water had a chemical taste).
